Firebrand HCs

Firebrand is like,,, one of my favorite characters, and he's not talked about enough. (and i don't support Ad*m R*sner btw)

-LOVES goth literature. He 100% reads Edgar Allan Poe every morning while drinking black coffee. (if they can eat or drink in the Collective realm)

-Also loves goth music. I just generally HC him as a goth. I feel like he'd love Bauhaus especially, and maybe London After Midnight, Christian Death, but also mostly classical music. He'd be more of a traditional goth.

-He has a complicated relationship with HABIT. He doesn't like him, he probably can't even handle him. HABIT is loud and pretentious, he needs to show off how great he is and how powerful he is, while Firebrand doesn't need to do all that. He's quiet, he speaks just a few words, and that's all you need to know how knowledgeable he is. And i feel like HABIT respects that, in a way, and of course Firebrand respects HABIT for the fact that he saved Firebrand from the Collective. So there's just,, mutual respect, i guess, but they definitely wouldn't get along just hanging out like friends.

-I feel like his face would look pretty horrifying with how burned he got, but like… in a tragically beautiful way? Like sure, his face is deformed and burned, but that was something he had to suffer through. And from that, he got knowledge. And with that knowledge, he strived to help his other versions, so they wouldn't end up like him. He shows them how deformed he looks, encouraging them to not make the same decisions and end up like him, which i view as,, tragically beautiful, i guess? It's bittersweet, that he uses his appearance and trauma to teach his other versions not to make bad decisions. (hence the quote: “I am now something that I shouldn't be. A rogue god. I belong, and yet I don't. An abomination of existence. Trapped in this awful form.”)

-Def has written poetry before. Or a book. I just feel like he loves literature in general, and after being kept in the Collective for so long, in isolation, that's his only way out. He tries to keep his emotions inside, and writing is the only way to get his emotions out without going insane basically.

-He has a fascination with humans and mankind. Not in a positive, but not in a negative way either. It's more… curiosity, and some respect, but also some resentment. He's curious about what humans could accomplish, as he watched a lot of things evolve. (i'm not sure for how long Firebrand has existed, but i'm assuming since the Collective was created, which was in World War 2 so let's just say 1940s.) He watched scientific progression, he watched society socially progress, but he also witnessed war, genocide, opression. He's fascinated with it, as time is linear, unchanging in the Collective realm, while for humans.. they move, they change, they evolve. He can not. His purpose is one, to do the Administrator's dirty work, “stuck in this awful form”, “a rogue god”.

Evan is the kind of guy to use any nearby container to fill with energy drinks

Dude has definitely used an empty bleach bottle to fill with a cursed concoction of Monsters and Red-Bull

Only drinks the lo-carb monster because "it's healthier"

Vinny would've been a twitch streamer if EverymanHybrid took place nowadays

The closest person I could compare with how he acts on stream is Philza

Has gotten doxxed like 3 times now but he does not care

Jeff would stream with Vincent but only plays minecraft, and is ten times better at it than anyone else

Probably has a discord server and for some reason he made Evan admin and now everyone calls him senpai

He knows what it means and hates it, He has a separate channel to put Evan and his associates by crime in and locks them in there

Noah has gone three days without sleep, slams down a sugar-free redbull and passed out in his kitchen before and blames the collective

Dude was a huge party guy in Highschool but always ended up sitting in a corner petting the dog at the party

This raggedy ass man loves the resident evil movies and says their peak cinematography, refuses to take any other suggestions

Kevin is peak stoner mode, and has tricked Noah into eating edibles before. By tricked I mean he left them out and Noah ate half of them before he was caught

Dude is the WORST tripsitter btw, he's the type of guy that would smoke a blunt and go "Do you think god loves us" before putting on a horror movie

Dude can handle marijuana perfectly but can only drink one cup of alcohol before getting black out, absolute lightweight

Milo has watched so much anime, so much. He has at least eleven shirts revolving around Sailor Moon and Beserk.

He's never watched Beserk he just likes the art, Noah and Kevin refuse to tell him what it is. They just wait until he finds out.

Probably the best at drawing out of all of them, he just has the gift of art and abuses it. His journal has a ton of different doodles

All three suck at Mario Kart but still play it together, yes it ends up with Kevin and Noah fighting while Milo wins the race

Marble Hornets

Tim is so tired of everyone, all the time. If given the choice he will mentally destroy everyone but Brian says no.

Definitely can quote all of Hamilton and says he would play Aaron Burr just so because he knows all his lines. He's a silent theater nerd

Brian is a loud theater nerd, one time he yelled at Alex "You see the stage to your left? Keep walking till you hit a wall."

Whenever he comes to practice with Tim he'll have two of the same drinks so he can give one to Tim.

Jay is so dumb, bless his soul. He forgets words and just randomly replaces them to the men's horror. "I wanted to have eggs for breakfast but I couldn't find my Skittle"

Tim and Alex are the only ones that understand him, but Alex makes fun of him "You mean skillet?"

Alex get picked on so much by them, Tim calls him cringe and he'll cry in the bathroom for 15 minutes before saying a comeback

He is for sure one of the most sarcastic jerk you would ever meet even if he tried to be nice

Poor Jessica is just standing there the whole time, she's the single mother of three sons and she knows it.

Both her and Amy are so tired of trying to keep the men from getting arrested when they're recording

HELLOO i have not actually! i was thinking about it, but I don't have many ideas for him,,, so sorry if this is a late reply! here are some i could come up with:

Noah Maxwell headcanons

-He's a MASSIVE loser. Although that's pretty much canon lol. He never leaves his house, and just stays inside. His room is probably filthy asf.

He also probably listens to male manipulator music, and has the whole 'nice guy' persona. This guy cannot pull bitches i swear!!

-Anyway, I'll actually write some more serious ones lol: I like to think that he's grown up in a very religious house, and has religious trauma because of it. Also, i think that would make his relationship with Firebrand much more interesting. In my headcanon, his trauma causes him to have a sense of fear, but also skepticism towards gods and entities. He's scared of them and their power, but also just tries to convince himself that they don't exist. It makes him feel better, and less guilty. So when he meets Firebrand, and realises he's a god, he's suspicious. Because, he's been through so much, why would a god of all things help him? He's pathetic, a waste of air, in his mind. So when a deity as powerful as Firebrand tries to help, he can't possibly believe that's true.

-Also, i think he just doesn't have any friends really. He grew up with Milo, and when Milo died, he was devastated. Also, Kevin and Sarah too, but i think that he just distanced himself from everyone. Like he closed off completely, and became obsessive over the Collective. That's why you see him so insistent on getting to talk with the Order to find out about Mary, but his obsession for answers is a big flaw, and causes Chris and Alex to get into trouble too. (i'm sure there are more examples, but the Order entry is the only one I can remember rn lol)

alex can and will pick any of his friends up and toss them on any surface to cuddle

jay likes to go bird watching he get especially excited when he sees a bluejay

they all tried being in a poly relationship at the start of college

jeff likes to pick up evan and throw him full force on the floor when hes upset with him

evan LOVES to run at wild/stray animals and try and pet them yes he does have a few marks and scratches from them but hes happy that he gets to feel the animals fur

since vinny is like the parent to them he will usually make food for them and he has been teaching the others how to cook but jeff gets distracted by whatever is on tv at that time

steph picks on jeff for fun

alex is like snow white unlike evan he usually doesnt get scratched by the animals that come up to him (once he got to pet a bear!)

they all have a little weekend to hang out all of them once a month

We need to talk about the EMH fandom

tldr; long rant on how the emh fandom has a lot of not-so great people in it. Also overlaps with the tribetwelve fandom hence the tags

Recently, being in this fandom, I’ve been seeing a massive influx of discourse over nazis and nazi art. Artists have been putting hate symbols in their HABIT art and EMH art in general. specifically the drawing of one specific artist.

However, I’d like to remind many that this has been going on for a while with many different people in the fandom. So many people in the EMH fandom have admitted to being neo-nazis, and have obsessed over the part of Tribetwelve where HABIT admits he worked with them (which, by the way, was pretty much retconned.) Many say they’ve seen fans of it who have Nazi symbols on their profile, and I’ll admit I’ve seen it as well. Many who do this also do not take it seriously, acting like the Nazis and their symbolism are just some funny cute thing that they can identify with or spread around. In relation to that, users have gotten harassed off servers for even having HABIT or Evan pfps, one stating they were repeatedly called a nazi and people lying and saying their pfp was art by Fvcksnuff, a problematic artist in the fandom. The user was eventually banned after being ridiculed, just for their profile picture being a character. The funny thing is, it wasn’t even HABIT as their profile, it was art of Evan.

Another thing is the romanticism of necrophilia, from specific people headcanoning HABIT as a necrophile and people in the fandom saying they’ve been getting anons asking what they think of the headcanon. The fandom has had a very long history of paraphilia romanticism (necrophilia and zoophilia, mainly), such as the disrespect towards the boundaries of the literal creators and actors, one of them who has specifically stated they DO NOT want rape fanfics of them on ao3. Many people fandom ignore these boundaries, by the way.

Lastly, in relation to that, there’s the sexualization of the actors, which they’ve admitted makes them very uncomfortable, specifically Evan. Please stop sexualizing HABIT or Evan. They may be characters, but a real person plays said characters. Many have acknowledged this and ignored it completely, especially people on Pinterest or tiktok. One of my mutuals has been one to witness and experience this, getting increasingly sexual and creepy comments on his HABIT pins. He’s told people to stop, but people didn’t listen and continued to make him uncomfortable. He admitted that it got so bad he started turning off all comments on his posts since he didn’t want to see those comments anymore. this has also happened on tiktok, where if you go into the comments of any video about habit, they will be overly sexual and explicit, even if the topic of the video isnt inherently sexual.

It’s not just a vocal minority. This fandom has a LOT of awful people just hiding around in it.

The fandom recently has been a dumpster fire of discourse upon discourse, and it’s disheartening to see. Harassment, threats, and general discord. II’d like to say that instead of arguing and arguing, we drive the people who do this out of the fandom. If you want a better community in this fanbase, you need to do something to MAKE it better.

Even Pre-Tribetwelve Noah has been known to fall asleep in random spots. Kevin has found him passed out on his kitchen counter once because he forgot to give him a blanket.

Mary has photos from Milo and Noah's sleepovers from when they were kids and Noah would be asleep on the ground covered in legos

Even his high school yearbook has photos of him asleep on top of stacked chairs.

Is it comfy? Nah. But he still will pass out on it.
