Mediocrity at its finest but (as Poppy might call it), here’s their whole “Adventure” of living together. Everything from the grinning happy highs to piecing up each others’ shattered spirits.

But as times passes, both eventually (and unintentionally) dig to the core of who their roommate really is. And lo and behold, the brightest blossoms still wilt when the sun dies and dreary rainclouds are just the façade of tomorrow’s clear skies.

Topic of the Day!: trolls (#25!!)

Poppy and Barb having times where they style eachothers outfits for a day. It's their little tradition and Poppy is very open with how much she loves it and finds it fun to do something like that with her new friend, meanwhile Barb silently likes it and finds it fun to style poppys outfits and find out different styles for herself.

While she would NEVER wear something that pink and colorful on a regular basis, she occasionally likes to go outside of her comfort zone, especially when it involves style.

I need someone to make a fan fiction where it's Poppy and Branch being sweet- BUT with Brozone brothers making fun of Branch and/or talking about how sweet they are and how they approve of Poppy. I've searched for so long. I could NEVER find any.

this series is a mashup between The Eldest And The Youngest and Out The Train Wreck AUs. y’all. making me go all-in on the John Dory x Hickory train wtf. i think the first three parts are complete? or almost complete? idk

YALL THIS ONE GIVES ME SUCH LIFE AS AN AUTISTIC PERSON. basically Barb mistakes young grey Branch for a rock troll and accidentally kidnaps him. it’s SO GOOD. also i DO know the tumblr handle for this one! it’s @rocksibblingsau !!!! give them some love this fic is AWESOME. not complete yet, but oh man if you can read WIPs then definitely check this out!

I just finished crying so horribly for this fic its fucki g embarassing im still dead and wishing to murder the author with my own hands whilst simultaneously showering em with praise

But anyways, its a John Dory-centric fic. Not my favorite lil Troll, but i dont hate and the angst potential and overall dynamic is too good. Personally think its beautifully written, and has a bunch of heart wrenching moments that may or may not have led me to go crazy in the comments, but thats that.

Hello! I was wondering, what has been the most creative uses of Jim or his troll counterpart that you've so far in the fandom?

Wow that's a tough question. I've seen a lot of pretty cool AU's honestly. I have three that immidiately come to mind regarding Jim and his troll form, all pretty well known fics:

What the night brings by @blund3r-bust3r, in which Jim is bitten by a troll and sort of becomes a Weretroll, fantastic plot, excellent world building and everyone acts wonderfully in character.

A secret's worth by @rockymaidenvixen, Jim is transformed into a half troll by night by a bath bomb at the age of five. It's a series that so far hasn't reached Canon events yet, but God I'm excited for when they do.

Fallout by @megan0013, one of my all time favourites and featuring a unique twist on half changeling Jim. As Strickler is Jim's biological father in this. Also, Jim's troll form has wings, what could possibly be any cooler?
