I think this is the most angelic shot of aziraphale ever. and I mean ever. and it’s him lying to gabriel to thwart the will of god. isn’t that beautiful
Here's my part for Tay's Moments Before the Storm MEP 💕 This was my first time editing with SV19 so it gave me some trouble, but I'm pretty pleased with the result overall ^^
I highly recommend local bookstores because nowhere else can you pick up a book that is no different from any other books around it, which include publications by such authors as Ursula fucking Le Guin, and discover only once you get home that it's printed in batches of 200 and doesn't even have an associated ISBN. This has happened to me multiple times, and it is the best. This is not ironic, it's the funniest experience and you really will only get this kind of appreciation and uplifting of local and small artists in indie bookstores.
And also those books will usually knock your fucking socks off.
I'm in the process of proofreading my Comte 7th bday event translation. However. I had to say it because reading the english version of the Impossible Choices event KILLED ME WHERE I SAT:
VIDEO GAMES WERE A MISTAKE I CAN'T UNSEE IT 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also because it was hot as hell:
I think Comte deserves to be a little violent. As a treat (for me)
I will also never get over Vlad going AND MAKE IT STRAWBERRY at pretty much everything and Comte just "Can you be an adult. About anything. For like 3 minutes." Meanwhile I'm with MC where I just find it lowkey hilarious. Realizing now as I write about it that Comte, Vlad, and MC just feel like Comte and MC are the dad and mom humoring an overzealous child, and something about that is freaking uproarious to me. I was sitting there like "where have I heard/seen that tone in Comte before" and then it hit me like a ton of bricks (as if he doesn't run a whole house, don't look at me I'm a 🤡)
I find it all kinds of adorable that Comte's playful and silly only when he's alone with MC, makes it feel special in a way--like he's comfortable sharing because it's her. I also think it's cute because he often manages to find a way to spin it into something that ends up being fun/sweet/thoughtful towards MC, which is just delightful. I feel like when Vlad comes in he gets a lil grumpy and jealous and retreats into himself a bit, like his private time with MC was stolen 😚
I still chortle about the Honeymoon event where Vlad gave MC a bouquet of flowers to celebrate their wedding day, and the way it felt like Comte wanted to trash them 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it was so unbelievably funny. Like it was so clear he didn't want to ruin MC's gift, you know, be mature and let her have this. But also. REEEEEEEE M Y MC 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Deleted footage of Comte the second Vlad offered her flowers:
Also, spoilers for the Epilogue that left me clutching my pearls MC GIANT MOOD, I LOVE HIM:
The House of Hope quest might be one of my favourites, because you deadass just break into the devil's house while the emperor tries to convince you not to do it because it's insane. He's basically like "you're not that guy" and Tav's just like "I am that guy"
Tampopo is immediately relatable and I am instantly on their side on all things.
I am only amazed that Watanuki took the time to craft a mysterious cube dessert and just didn’t ever taste it first to see if it turned out ok.
Like if there was any CLAMP character I would trust to be a perfect chef who didn’t ever NEED to taste check his food it WOULD only be Watanuki, but the bravery of that. I could never.
guys... guys... did you know that if you try to play an instrument in bg3 while not being proficient at it, you get rotten tomatoes thrown at you? and if you do it in camp with scratch, he'll come up and howl at you. i love this game so much.
controversial take but i absolutely loved the i wanna be yours/star treatment moment, it reminded me of the fluorescent adolescent/only you know transition they used to do during the humbug tour and it’s something they’ve never done before, that was definitely one big surprise and i genuinely felt it was the glastonbury special, probably -I’m about to say it- the best moment of the night
thinking about "you're lucky you're good-looking" and "am i good-looking, hyung?" and the wrist grab "am i good-looking, sangwoo?" and the "yes, you're seriously good-looking" and the "warning. i'm going to kiss you in one minute" and the sangwoo grabbing jaeyoung to initiate the kiss and the shocked amazed reverent look on jaeyoung's face before he kisses sangwoo back
writing about gay awakenings via watching the lost boys for the first time and I just wanna say my favorite instance of homosexuality in this movie is that after they're all turned into vampires they each get one gay little dangly earring. absolutely mesmerizing
