I liked the sketch but questioned my life a lot trying to execute the details of the design. And I’m still figuring out what I want to do with colors when I do use them, so until then everyone gets to be in the Gray Void LOL
But despite my complaining nothing is more fun than indulging your own niche interests, highly recommend ❤️💛 I STILL need to do some dance poses though

Hey digital artists, what canvas size do you typically do your pieces on?
Just curious if I'm hamstringing myself with the size canvas I use. For reference, I tend to work at 1500 px - 3000 px maximum (before I size it down for posting).
#not sure what i can do about it because photoshop CS4 tends to crash at sizes bigger than 3000px for me...#...yes i use a 16 year old art program WHAT OF IT#grr... i should try again to learn CSP but it's weeeeird and differeeeeeeent and change is haaaaard#also apparently the speech bubble/text options suck and so much of my current draws involve characters babbling

#martzipan#nagito komaeda#i was GONNA play around with other species but csp and my tablet decided to collaborate on debilitating lag#it was so bad. there was like a half second of input delay. it was so so bad#idk what's going on with that. but i sure as hell wasn't gonna keep drawing with that#so i finished/colored these n then. was done#leucism is the friend of anyone wanting to anthropomorphize komaeda. any beast can be pale now#if he were to be a canine he'd be some fucked up desert dog for SUREEEE#maned wolves fit that. plus they have those WILDDD limbs and naturally keep their tails basically tucked between their legs#incredibly komaeda-coded animal#honestly shoulda made the limbs even longer. exaggeration weee#was gonna play with a hare and a possible hyena and maybe even a secretary bird...#maybe even try to assign hinata some animals if i had the energy..#but alas. tablet said Fucka You and i was not gonna learn to anthropomorphize that many animals with lag that bad. Hell No#every now and again the little furry that lives in my head BEGSSS me to draw smth anthro#and i go 'ok little buddy here you go. eat up'#so yeagh this one was for me

Okay so I’m trying Lineart again so here’s my go at it.
Feel free to give tips/suggestions/encouragement. This looks so whatever to me. I just really don’t like lineart
#WIP#i really don’t like lineart bc there’s so many factors that go into it for it to look good#like line size#line WEIGHT and having variety of it throughout the peice#then there’s the BRUSH ITSELF which can COMPLETELY change the vibe#it’s like a fking gamble and I hate it#not to mention you have to make sure what you’re drawing ITSELF looks good#ughhhhh#if you have CSP lineart pen suggestions DO TELL#the pen I used here I got from the CSP store and it was just the. like. 2nd most popular pen#but idk if I really like it…pen pressure feels weird#I feel like I need something that feels like the pencil brush but looks like a pen brush#maybe#maybe I don’t even know what I want#only trying clean lineart again bc my sister and her bf said my lineart practice looked a lot better then my usual art#SIIIIIIGH

I do still wanna experiment w comic printing soon... i might do my random one-off boombox comic first since it's the shortest.
#need to draw like. front and back cover art. make templates so everything is aligned properly for print.#figure out how to make the pages arranged in a multiple of four so it can actually be printed#do some ugly typsetting in ms word so its legible (scream idk how to letter forgive me(#annoying thing is i draw in procreate and organize things for printing in csp. but i dont have csp on my ipad. so ill have to go back n#forth between my tablet n comp ughhhhhhh. i guess...... ill organize everything in csp......... upload to procreate..... do drawing edits...#then export back to my comp n do final touches there like lettering.#idk this is the math show again. art and printing is the math show. idk i know im gonna b so disorganized abt this and its gonna kick my ass#only way to learn is to try tho!!!!!!!!!
