THE SIMS 3 STORE PRE-INSTALLED

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!

It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).

Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).

Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.

You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.

Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.

CAUTION

Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.

If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.

I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.

Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.

I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.

UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025

Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.

Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.

Hi. Sorry to bother you, and thank you for all the amazing cc, sorry for spaming you with likes. I feel really dumb because I don't know why or how, but my game has a problem with (most of) your cc and this roof by C&K: https://crispsandkerosene.tumblr.com/post/87921581132/ts3store-century-manor-roof-stuff-for-ts2

It crashes when I click on these roof pieces in game, they work if I remove your cc and I've been using them for years.

I've checked GUIDs, they are not the same but some are similar. I'm sure it's something only with my game, as I have way too much cc. I don't expect you to fix it or anything. But just out of curiosity, could you download that set and click on it in your game, to see if it crashes for you too or to confirm that it's just me. Only when you have the time! And if not, that's okay too, feel free to ignore this message. Take care!

Hey suratan-zir, you're not bothering me at all, I'm happy if I can contribute to straighten things out. And you can spam me with likes as much as you like. 😁

Unfortunately, I think I cannot help you in this specific case. I put the century-manor-roof pieces into my download folder and ran everything through SimPE's GUID scanner. There were no duplicates, meaning there is no GUID conflict either. Besides, a GUID conflict wouldn't normally crash the game, it would only prevent an object from appearing in the game. Things that have been crashing my game in the past mostly had to do with the CRES, GMND or BHAV.

After checking the GUIDs, I booted the game, visited a lot in Belladonna Cove and went to the architecture category. I clicked on all the roof pieces and neither of them crashed my game.

After closing the game again, I opened some of the roof piece files and (at first glance) couldn't detect anything that could somehow conflict with any of my files. So I really don't know why my CC is causing you trouble. As far as I can remember, I've never cloned anything from the architecture menu until now, the only overlapping "data" would be the windows.

I'll post your ask for everyone to see, so if anybody reading this has any other idea for me to check or test, please step forward. Thank you in advance!

EA App - Easy Sims 3 Store Content Fix - Cyclical

Most of the Sims 3 players who have made the switch to the EA app have experienced this issue. You’re playing and then one day you boot up your game, and your store content is gone. Just. Gone. Inexplicably.

There have been a few fixes proposed, but usually nothing that lasts. I have, through some experimenting, found a cycle of two easy, quick settings to switch on/off to go between each time your store content decides it’s time for a vacation.

Details and steps below the cut!

***The fastest way to check if either fix is working is to put some of your store content sims3pack files in your downloads file again in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads. When you open your launcher, you can check the Downloads tab and see if it shows boxes for icons or if it shows that the content is installed already.

First, with the Sims 3 launcher closed, in the top left corner of the EA app click the 3 horizontal lines and then select settings out of options that drop down. From there, select “Application”. You should see this screen.

FIX ONE: Scroll down and turn off in-game overlay

That should be the first fix complete! Your store content items should show once more in your game

***If your settings are already set to the above, then follow the next fix instead.

FIX TWO: Moving back up, turn off notifications entirely

Make sure to load the Sims 3 launcher at least once with the new setting before changing your notifications setting back to what you would like.

Did it break again after Fix Two? Re-enable notifications, re-enable in-game overlay, and then follow Fix One again.  ***Do not keep the in-game overlay on when playing Sims 3

EDIT: Note - You may need to shut down your computer in between changing settings for the fix to take effect. Not restart, but shut down and then turn on again. This is what I’ve just run into on my own computer at least.

***None of this has been tested with decrapified sims3pack files. I’m honestly not even sure if those have been affected by the change or not.

2ND EDIT: well, sometimes these things work, and sometimes they don’t. I’m not sure why. At all. Sorry everyone. My suggestion is to convert your store content to .package files with the Multi-Extractor, and get some help from the lovely @blamseastore​ for your store worlds. If you have trouble with the multi-extractor, I’d still suggest going to https://blamseastore.tumblr.com/ for help. Installing these as .package files is the most surefire way to keep them from disappearing.

Introducing the Caliente Sisters from "The Sims 2".

According to The Sims 2, Nina is the older twin. However my system when it comes to CAS is to do it alphabetically so I started with Dina first, then I intend to edit them in game later so that Nina is slightly older.

Not quite right yet. A few tweaks are needed before I upload them.

Facial changes: Eyes & Cheeks.

Hair needs improving.

Lips need reshaping.

Athletic needs recolouring.

Outerwear needs updating.

Makeup needs reshading.

I normally do not have headers (because I am lazy), but maybe I should start doing that...for special occasions. Yes, this little blog has now officially hit 100 reblogs. Yeah!

So, as promised, I have two versions of the Rococo Hall (see the WIP notes here, here, and here) for you (download links at the end of the post).

Description:

The Rococo Hall enjoys wide recognition among the wealthy, cultured, upper-class elites throughout the Sim World. Here at this fine establishment, we proudly provide not just Michelin-level dining, catering, and ceremonial services, but a cultural experience of lordiness and excellency. Our conference hall has witnessed important events ranging from mayoral election fundraisders to St. Spleen Foundation annual charity balls, from sim-fortune 500 company year-end parties to the wedding banquets of some of the wealthiest sims in the world. You are cordially invited to our re-openning party with free champagne and cakes.

Both versions share the exterior garden and looks almost identical from the outside.

Version 1 is finished with a lobby, a two-storey dining hall, and a small(ish) multi-functional conference room.

Version 2 features a lobby, a dining room, a large multi-function conference/gala hall, and additional space for underground kitchen and other service rooms (the layout below omitted the ground level).
