TS4 Malware via .TS4SCRIPT mods

Hi everyone, I figured I would make a post about this just in case anyone who follows me has not yet been made aware of the malware issues happening currently in the Sims 4 modding community. 

Several days ago malware was discovered within a few mods that would silently steal info from your computer such as passwords and private information. This malware was then found to be in many other mods, as early as August 2023. It appears to mostly affect script (.ts4SCRIPT files), but be wary of .package files as well. Child Birth Mod by PandaSama

I cannot stress this enough but this is a MUST HAVE! Lets be honest the way the sims give birth is just not enough for me. With this mod you get so many options on your sims pregnancy!

In this mod there is a new interaction with the toilet to take a pregnancy test BUT when this interaction is playing you see your sim holding an actual pregnancy stick!

Once your sim takes a test and becomes pregnant you can use your sims phone to call the Obstetrician to choose your birth plan, and to have pregnancy check up (Ultrasounds included).

Some of the birth plans you can choose are The surgery machine (maxis style), Natural Birth which will require you to edit the hospital and add the exam table that is included in this pack, C-Section or a Home birth which you can choose to buy the pillows to place on a bed in your sim's house or a little pool that you can give birth to (usually found in the bathtub section)

^ This mod has been updated so there's another reaction for pregnancy checkups!

You can choose to do pregnancy checkups which is available to your sim at any time. This will take you to the hospital and you will have to enable free build so you can place the exam table, Pap smear table, and ultrasound machine, there is also and iv bag stand.

This mod wouldn't make any sense if there wasn't a postpartum feature, but in luck there is!

Lactation is a big key in postpartum! This gives you a pump so your sim can pump when the baby isn't hungry, and you can store these bottles of breast milk you and give them to your sims baby when they need it! This also comes with Lactation cookies that help improve the amount of milk your sim can produce.

If breast feeding and pumping isn't how you want to feed your sims baby this mod also includes baby formula that you can buy through build/buy mode.

There is also a weening option which pops up after you breast feed your toddler one time, this can be found in the under the toddler care menu.

Now pandasama shows so much more information about her mod and what it consists of I recommend reading into the mod before playing it so you have an understanding on how to work the mod. You can find PandaSama's website here.

Write Letters by Twinsimming 📫

This mod allows sims to write letters (or hate mail) to other residents in their town via the mailbox. 

Requirements

This mod requires The Sims 3: Generations and The Sims 3: Seasons.

Writing Letters

The “Write Letter to…” and “Write Hate Mail to…” interactions work similar to the “Send Love Letter to...” interaction from The Sims 3: Seasons, but no actual letter is sent.

Child and older sims can write letters or hate mail to people they know in town! Writing letters will give a small relationship boost (similar to texting), while hate mail will do the opposite and reduce their relationship. 

Young Adults and older will use the “Write Thank You Notes” animation from The Sims 3: Generations, while Child and Teen sims use the homework animations. 

Small note that the homework notebook doesn't appear when a Child or Teen sim is writing a letter, but the interaction works fine.

Tuning

All of the following values are tunable in the mod’s XML files.

This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

[4t2] Sixam - Secret Alien World for TS2 ^^

Remember my 4t2 Sixam project I started 2 years ago? Which I almost scrapped but revisited sometime last year? ... well, I've got good news for you then. It's finally out now! ^^

Welcome to Sixam!

Sixam Academy is a prestigious intergalactic university on the planet of Sixam that provides special training for aspiring students to become Birth Queens, Colony Drones, or even the latest innovation in alien technology: Pollination Technicians. The academy offers hands-on experiences, collaborative research, and cultural exploration, alongside interstellar expeditions, nurturing a community focused on curiosity, inclusivity, and innovation.

Yes, I recreated the secret alien world from TS4 for TS2 as a custom university subhood! Why as a university subhood you may ask? Well, I tried to keep the original vibes of Sixam of it being an "unlockable"/visitable place your sims can explore rather than a regular neighborhood your sims can live in!

Well, even after graduation, your sims can actually stay and live in the university subhood using Lamare's YAs can enjoy maternity (and all that) mod, as well as Lamare's Pets at University mod!

While technically it's a university, it could easily also be just a downtown or a main hood, as it includes quite a few urban city-style residential & community lots that a main hood/downtown would also otherwise have… just all in sci-fi/alien theme, of course! ;)

Neighborhood Info:

Requires only Uni/NL/OFB EP and no CC were used to build the lots - I made this without Apartment Life EP, so TS2 Super Collection users can also use it, but in the future, I might also make an alternative version as an actual downtown with apartment lots!

No camera mod is needed, yet, still recommended for easier gameplay, especially since some lots were built on skyscrapers and can be hard to view with just the vanilla camera.

Number of Sims: 90 (10 playable sims in 4 playable families, 31 townies, 44 NPCs, 5 dead sims)

Number of Lots: 35 (7 residential lots, 2 Greek houses, 5 dorms, 1 secret society, 20 community lots, where 8 of which are owned businesses)

Gameplay Info:

Speaking of lots, I made lecture halls for every major, which you could use with beestew's Active Classes mod! These are community lots, featuring skill-building equipment and study spaces, with NPC professors (as lot owners) available for tutoring whenever your sims visit.

I also made an optional custom skybox and custom lighting file for Sixam that will make it always nighttime (Yes, you heard right! The sun never shines here on Sixam!) with subtle seasonal color changes - reddish in Autumn, bluish in Winter, and greenish in Spring.

While the empty version should be CC-free, the inhabited version requires the 3 alien skintones (blue/turquoise/violet) from my [4t2] aliens set to keep the TS4 alien characters like Aileen Rauvu authentic. As giving all these colorful aliens the default green skin instead felt as bad as white-washing, say, giving black characters like Olive Specter a lighter skintone for me. An alternative CC-free version with no CC skintones is also available for players who prefer to not have any CC skintones in their games, though.

I also recreated some characters from TS4, especially all the characters from the The Sims 4 Get to Work: Sul Sul trailer. Every character comes with a complete set of ancestors (at least parents) and customized memories, even townies and NPCs! Some also come with interesting lore! Even though, they're just... townies! Oh, and everyone has genetic infant faces! Yayy! XD

Speaking of characters, scripted events don't work in subhoods, but I wrote a text in each family description that somewhat mimic the scripted event notifications anyway. I think this is a brilliant and fun way of introducing new characters, even in university subhoods. All households should also have a complete set of family album pictures that show their lore a bit. ^^

Recommended Mods:

All notownieregen/antiredudancy/nodormiespawn/nossrespawn mods. All university townies/NPCs in Sixam are aliens.. or at least have a very good reason why they're there, but this can easily be ruined if you don't have these mods installed, lol.

bloodredtoe's Mannequin babies can be born mod. To have more variety, I used the mannequin skintone for some of the alien sims. While this mod isn't required, it's recommended to prevent crashes, especially when these aliens have offspring, as there's a chance they could inherit the mannequin skintone.

Squinge's No Townie Memory Loss. Again, townies and NPCs in this neighborhood are highly customized and I recommend getting no townie amnesia mods to prevent their lore from getting wiped out! As there are a few clues in the bios of some of the townies... including long lost twins!

lingeringwillx's Restore Default Names for Sims in Subneighbohoods . This is especially helpful, not only because the townies/NPCs are related to the playable sims, but also, it will help to maintain the alien atmosphere of Sixam with names like Pollination Technicians, Colony Drones or Birth Queens, etc. instead of having EA's default townie/NPC names.

I've been pretty quiet on here, but that doesn't mean I've stopped simming! First up I'd like to say thanks (and sorry!) to all the lovely people who've sent me messages :) I'm gonna try my best to reply to everyone asap!

For christmas I wanted to share something special - so here is the public release of the first version of my Decorating Tools mod (or S3DT)

Quick Description - This mod adds hotkeys to the game to allow you to move objects up/down, left/right and rotate in all directions, similar to T.O.O.L for TS4 PDF Guide included below!

To my wonderful patrons - thank you for your support <3 I feel bad that real life has gotten in the way of me delivering more content to you all, so I'll likely be closing it soon! I used these in my NOLA 1132 Rue Royale gameplay way back in 2022, and never got around to sharing them, oops.

IIRC the Chinoiserie Wallpapers are non-recolorable, but come in 2 variations of normal & albino peacocks.

I forgot what I changed about the Master Suites SP Fireplace. Probably the RGBY channels. Plus it's basegame compatible now.

And ofc you can see the Herringbone patterns, which I love using on floors. Has 3 RBG channels. Found under Wood.

Random CC I've been using:

I separated & retextured AikeaGuinea's Sordid Cassette Tapes, and made them stackable. IDER which category they're in--use LazyDuchess' Search Mod like god intended!

"There's a GOBLET on the table!" No worries, it's only decorative & fully recolorable--the "blood" inside is fake. (In that gif you can obvs see the Gramsims Feathers as ACC--tuxedo not included, sorry. Found under Bracelets, Everyday - Outerwear, fully recolorable. And you can also see Lorandia's Rings Male Right, which I redid to only keep 4 of the 8 original rings.)

The Clapperboard comes in 2 non-recolorable variations.

The decor Vinyl Record is fully recolorable and stackable (variations come with and without the Vampire Lestat VL logo).

I made Simsimi's Kimono ACC sheer (& unisex). Found under Necklaces, fit/fat morphs, Everyday - Outerwear, fully recolorable.

Everyday - Outerwear, Teen - AF, etc etc. I redid the Peggyzone Bag ACC cuz the original wasn't showing up in my game. Recolorable, found under Bracelets, Everyday - Outerwear, blahblah.

Not ALL raw fish are edible for werewolves (inc. crocodiles)--thanks a lot, EA

I needed my loup-garou/Swamp!Lestat to be able to actually eat the crocodiles on my bayou lot

OF COURSE I needed a way for Saint Louis to gulp down fish instead of killing sims (especially in my IWTV Mersim AU)

Naturally, for raw fish to fill the Vampire Thirst need, my mod REQUIRES Nona's Custom Food Script at MTS.

I made yet another EA book texture default replacement, this time with EA Book Overrides for IWTV. Browse here for the in-game swatches.
