Coronation settled down into her shed. She was still adjusting to the “Caitlin” nickname, but her owner had thought “Coronation” too long and too formal of a name. Ridiculous, but she knew better than to criticize the man that had saved her.

Her owner then arrived and walked up to her.

“Caitlin, you are going to love this!” He beamed. “I’ve found another engine - someone you may know.”

Before Coronation could speculate any, a chime whistle howled across the yard. Coronation’s eyes narrowed. It sounded like a whistle one of Gresley’s streamliners had used. And one only need to have known Coronation’s class’s history to understand how she felt about them.

Sure enough, a Gresley A4 Pacific came backing into the shed, adorned with an odd-looking crest.

“Oh, hello again, Coronation.” The engine tried to sound amicable, but anyone could hear the apprehension in his voice.

“Brilliant.” Coronation huffed. “A blooming A4. Couldn’t you have at least found someone from my railway?”

Their owner’s smile dropped, replaced immediately by a stern look.

“Coronation,” he said, severely, shutting her up at once - he only used her real name if he was particularly displeased with her, “steam engines are a great scarcity here. You know that as well as I do. Neither of you are owned by either region anymore, and “your railway” merged with his decades ago. If you cannot be at least cordial, then I can and will leave you in the shed while Lorcan O’ Connor runs the railtours.”

Coronation winced. The mere thought made a pit form in her firebox.

“My… apologies, sir.” She strained.

“Much better. Connor,” he said, turning to the blue engine, “this, as you appear to know, is Coronation. Caitlin, this is Lorcan O’ Connor, named after the man that preserved him. Mr. O’ Connor has fallen into declining health, and so has entrusted me to look after his beloved engine. I ask that you show him complete hospitality just as he will for you. Good evening to you both.”

And Sir Robert Norramby walked away, leaving a suffocating silence between the two rival engines.

A pair of half siblings that grew up together in the USA ever since they were born despite having different mothers. Connor's mother, a very rich woman, learned about Caitlin when Connor was only two months old and her own mother dropped her off at their home. Taking mercy on the baby girl, she took Caitlin in as her own daughter and divorced her husband for cheating on her.

Only being two months apart, made them feel like twins. They have a very close bond and are loyal to each other to no end. After they finished collage, their mother let her connections play and let them start working for the Earl of Sodor in the UK.

Both are very energetic and eager to do their work. They love to participate in all kinds of competition for fun and can come of as pushy when inviting others. Connor gets easily cautious when confronted with high risks of getting hurt and Caitlin is very impatient, tending to forget everying around her to get to action as fast as possible.

Henry: Edward, you realize how fucking powerful these motherfuckers are? Sam and Hank literally double headed a train that stretched two miles at MINIMUM. Conner and Caitlain have been racing a P42 from Amtrak at 110 and ten miles per hour all day, there's a fleet of Gevo's hauling steel trains longer than I'm sure is even safe to and from the scrapyard to vicarstown, and literally half the shunters on this island are American because it just works somehow.

Thomas: They got a shit goverment, but good locomotives.

Emily: Facts.

Thomas: Of course you'd know. Simp.

Okie my fellow beautiful and handsome flowers; I have finally been able to draw something lately and it’s a gift for a dear best friend of mine, @projectanimations !!

Lately I have been seeing that they have been up and down in their emotions and I wanted to make something to cheer them up. And I finally did make something! I decided to draw the engines that they like but from my AU!

I haven’t drawn 3 of these babies in a while and I feel good having to draw them and the other one is the first time drawing him off the Gacha style I did of him lol.

Decided to try out a fun concept. The design of streamlining on the New York Central Hudsons was apparently styled after a spartan helmet. So, I was curious what it would look like in the Thomas universe for these engines to actually have helmets covering their face.
