not whump, but in reference to that last ask. I also have been having problems with the backspace button when sending asks across multiple blogs. (No idea why.) I found the work around is to skip the first line when you first start typing an ask. That seems to fix the problem (or at the very least make it so you can backspace.)

If you accidentally deadname someone, handle it the same way you would if you'd accidentally called someone your dog's name. Just a quick and casual "ah fuck sorry, that's not your name" will do, this kind of shit happens and names are all registered in the same part of the brain.

You wouldn't write someone a whole e-mail essay about how you feel and how you'd never actually mistake them for a dog. People understand, there's no need to make it weird.

First up is fair land (to which I go) by @haught0pocket which is bloody brilliant writing, has some stellar period-appropriate romantic tension (the hands!?! names?!?), and to cap it all off made me think of Sam from Holes. Go read.

From Hell to Purgatory by @bootz-n-catz. Now, I’ve only read the first chapter but I’m already completely hooked and am so excited to get around to reading this. That’s one hell of a story hook.
