Hey so I figured I would make a general statement that we do in fact have turtle crew. And that means that we have the ninja turtles, as well as some others from those sources. The reason we say turtle crew and not a specific area or era of the turtles is because our turtles and splinter are all mixtives of the different different generations of TMNT series. So here is a list that may or may not get updated with time!-:

-Raph (Mix of Eras 1990-2018/2022)

-Mikey (Mix of Eras 1984-2022)

-Donatello (Mix of Eras 2003-2018/2022)

-Leonardo (Mix of Eras 1984-2022)

-Splinter (Mix of Eras 2012-2022)

-Rupert "Meat Sweats" Swaggart (ROTTMNT)

-(Others on a "maybe" list that may be updated with time)

Friendly reminder our turtle crew has a blog just for them @ask-don where they can interact with you all!

Some general boundaries!

Raph-

• Don't talk about his anger issues

• Don't threaten his brothers

• Have open communication

Mikey-

• Don't try to analyze him

• Don't insult him (even jokingly) unless you're close.

• Don't insult the things he likes

Leonardo-

• Use his full name unless he says otherwise or unless mutuals

• Don't ask/talk about the bad things he's done unless you're close

• If he mentions TOM, please take his advice until he gives an all-clear

Donatello-

• Please use full name unless otherwise stated, mutual or not

• If TOM is mentioned, DNI or IWC

• Don't ask about source memories unless close.

Splinter-

• Be open with communication

• Be sure to clear a name (ie, Lou Jitsu, Hamato Yoshi) before using it

• Don't ask about source unless close

• Don't pet or grab him without explicit permission

Rupert Swaggart-

Feeling a resurgence of extra love for hippoworm ever since Andy Suriano (the show’s creator) started doing sketches to add to people’s orders from his new website - he made a few sketches of Warren and Hypno and it’s just *explodes*

In the first one, Hypno’s looking forward while Warren looks directly at Hypno. In the second one Warren and Hypno are looking at each other 🥹 It’s so sweet and they’re so in love and they only have eyes for one another and I’m a mess /pos

Screaming Into The Void

Maybe I’m just tired, but I have to air this out before I take out this frustration on real world problems and people who don’t deserve it.

Maybe I’ll regret it. I dunno. Just-

Okay. Look. I get it. I get it! I get that a wholesome Lou being an endlessly supportive and devoted father is some of the the best, most fluffiest writing ever and I can’t help but bookmark that kind of material every time because MAN it’s a fluffy take on his character and I FEAST on it- BUT! BUT!

That. Does NOT. Make. IT CANON.

For those in the back-

THAT. DOES NOT. MAKE. IT CANON.

Random AU? Absolutely. Creative iteration? You go for it!

Ten years in the future type AU where you acknowledge that he’s made mistakes but he’s trying? Full support!

I swear to you now, I eat that kinda character development up.

But the second- THE SECOND- that you act like he’d make a better father to the 2012 kids than their own dad? During canon series events or even just a few months after the movie? Acting as if he has never been neglectful and has zero faults while entirely making him the opposite of canon because “the 2012 need a better dad who lets them be brothers instead of soldiers” like WHAT?

I promise. I am burning that book. (Mentally, obvs)

You wanna fix it? Tell us you have an AU Lou who would better take care of them. That you’ve created a Splinter based on your favorite parts from the Rise Splinter that they deserve. Even go as far as claim that the brothers will immediately realize how much less ignored or belittled they feel under the AU Lou’s care.

But DO NOT act like you’re writing a canon character.

Watch the shows. Both of them.

And stop pretending that Lou is everything that Yoshi should be.
