So, I've been thinking about this for a while and wasn't sure if I should mention it but. I think I've come up with a verse for Flora in the Hazbin universe. What I'm thinking is she'll be an Angel who found out about the extermination and potential corruption but couldn't just sit idly by knowing that bit of information (she felt icked out and couldn't see the Heaven "paradise" the same way knowing that). Thus, she was kicked out of Heaven (after given an ultimatum, either be killed or be exiled?) and forced down into Hell. I imagine that she's completely lost down there, especially because I imagine Angel's might have a bad reputation, and I think she'd want to help out at the hotel once she found out about it. Though, I wouldn't say she works at the hotel, she'd just want to work there and help stop the exterminations. Now, take this with a grain of salt because I've only watched the first couple episodes so don't know everything yet and I haven't caught up with Helluva Boss either. So I could be completely wrong about something and this could change as I learn more. I just wanted to give her a more interesting backsory than what I normally do.

❝ugh, stupid fucking thing... ❞ another unpleasant grumble escaping for the moment before she decides to stop fiddling with the contraption and focus on the hell spawn that's beside her. ❝ what're you in for..? ❞

The possum was busy on people's watch duty. eyes shifting from person to person often lingering on one for far too long before having to look to the next person. tail idly moving behind her. wrapping around the leg of the beach.

it wasn't til she felt the bench shift a bit. balancing itself out as the imp took her spot next to the sinner, green dots would shift over to babrie. looking her over for a moment.

"...Tried to cheat at a big poker game at a V-owned casino. They didn't like the fact I wasn't on my knees begging for forgiveness." she'd leaned back a bit "Supposed to be here til extermination day."

This will still go the same direction it does now, with my S/I being shipped with Stolas/Asmodeus/Fizzarolli (And possibly someone else, but I'm still trying to decide if I F/O them or not.)

However, I had a wonderful idea for how it would go if, at some point, he was an Angel rather than a demon.

Helluva boss redesigns of Stolas and Beelzebub

I wanted to take a crack at a couple designs that I felt like had some wasted potential with how they could've portrayed their character

I wanted Stolas to have more of the fact that he studies astronomy incorporated in his design hence the star motif and the telescope, also made him more owl-shaped

I also wanted Beelzebub to be more bee-like overall and I added stuff like a paper crown and glow bracelets to make her more like a party girl

honestly I'm pretty happy with the results esp with how Stolas came out!

Notes from a concerned medical professional who reads too much hurt/comfort:

(These are all things I've seen in Hazbin/Helluva fanfics)

(Tw: for injury, illness, gore, drug use, overdose, a lot of other things)

You cannot drug someone to sleep by overdosing them on melatonin. It will not work

Don't submerge an open wound or stitches in a bathtub/pool/etc it will introduce bacteria to the wound (taking a shower is usually fine, just skip the romantic bath)

On that note, stitches do not immediately stop a wound from bleeding and should not be used to solve every problem (never give yourself stitches unless you have absolutely no other choice they can trap infection inside the body when done incorrectly)

And, if the wound is extremely deep, a person may need several layers of stitches to piece together the skin, muscle, and viscera

You absolutely cannot get high on tylenol or ibuprofen even if you mix it with alcohol.

If you do mix tylenol or ibuprofen with alcohol it can cause internal bleeding/kidney damage/liver failure, so please don't do that

If someone is shivering from a high fever, don't cover them in blankets it will raise their body temperature even more (please try correctly dosed tylenol or ibuprofen for this)

Don't submerge someone with a high fever in ice water, they might go into shock (they also might panic and hurt themselves) in a pinch lukewarm water will do

Don't put ice on burns, run them under lukewarm or cool water instead

If someone overdoses on an opoid (heroin, morphine, various pain medications), there is a medicine called nalaxone (Narcan) that can reverse the effects of opioids (edit: thank you to @queerlybehooved)

If someone is bleeding profusely, don't just hold their head and whisper sweet nothings, put pressure on the wound!!!

If a bullet remains in a person’s body after being shot it most likely should not be dug out unless it's blocking something vital, the bullet is not the problem the damage it made in it's path is

This isn't a criticism of authors who have written things like this. A lot of it isn't common knowledge, and DIY healthcare is absolutely steeped in myth and misinformation. I just worry about disinformation being perpetuated (and I really enjoy accurate hurt/comfort)

If I got anything wrong, please let me know, and I'll edit the post. I'm far from perfect and appreciate good advice

So uh, I kiiiinda forgot I had a HB-themed blog in the midst of me feeling the itch for HB redesigns... figured I'd might as well fix that with this recent Stolas family piece I did not too long ago-

(Now, as mentioned before on my DA post, I honestly have nothing against either Stolas, Octavia, nor Stella's canon designs.... Iiii just feel like as high-ranking demon birds, a lil "variety" tweaked in could lowkey go a long way the more I thought about it?)

Aaaand here, here's a quick lil rundown of what I had in mind for my own personal interpretations (AU, HC? Idk what exact term fits best but... *shrugs*):

For Stolas, I tried to tone down all the black & red from his previous design to a more "autumn sunset sky"-aesthetic (+ditched the big top hat 'cause like... you're a royal my dude, don't you just need a crown? lol), gave him a gradient starry cape instead of that old ripped one 'cause I always loved how the star cape looked on him from the "Ozzie's" episode, popped in some grey streaks in his hair, and then finally unified his outfit to a purple & black theme like a classic Disney villain~

For Octavia, I went with a classy "indigo night sky" vibe with lil gold accents, then shortened her hair to a fanned bob (kiiinda looking like bird wings, in a way?) along with adding some more "blended" features from her mom and dad just 'cause .3.

As for Stella... honestly I've fallen *way* too in love with the "Stella is a Swan" fan-theory ('cause yknow... she's all-white, black & pink beaked, elegant-looking but bitchy af in-person, etc.) that I couldn't resist incorporating more swan-y vibes to her design. Then I relaxed her big choppy hair to a more "refined" half-up/half-down style (+some extra feather tufts to still fit with her peacock bro Andrealphus), gave her more of a mermaid-shaped dress to fit her regal noble-lady vibe, then I simply left it a gradient pink/black in terms of colors 'cause... idk, it just reminded me alot of fancy Chanel-aesthetics~
