This feels like a college recruitment flyer that Zimone from Strixhaven would make. I especially like that it mentions the conflict of whether math is created or discovered. Very quandrix!

my dealer: got some straight gas 🔥😛 this strain is called "number theory" 😳 you'll be zonked out of your gourd 💯
me: yeah. whatever. i don’t feel shit.
5 minutes later: dude i swear i just saw some twin primes outside the window
my buddy euclid pacing: En = pn# + 1 where pn# is the nth primorial (the product of the first n prime numbers)

Caleb & MC Bound by DNA
My god first off I was crashing out while watching the trailer I'm so excited for more CALEB LORE! I remember asking for more Sci-Fi content on a survey and they delivered! Soooo many incredible feelings, so I wanted to follow up on my Caleb as Donor 002 post.
Now we know that Caleb and MC were created from the same 'source' as he literally stated in the trailer. Seems it wasn't far-fetched to draw a connection between Eve being created from Adam's rib!
Taking a closer look at the structure of the DNA helix, I interpret 'source' as they are Cyborgs birthed from the same 'energy source'. The helix appears mechanical in nature with rippling energy currents.
Tumblr media
It appears, in this new timeline, Caleb and MC are bound by their very DNA; his myth trailer included imagery of a metal double helix and the following text:
"The enigma behind the double metal helix... The promise you had since you were born."
Tumblr media
"But the promise we've had since we were born, I kept that one." - Caleb to MC
Again, there is this imagery of being bound at birth, similar to how twins are (I mentioned the symbolism of twins/siblings and how they're often experimentation victims of Ever in the Donor 002 post). In this case, perhaps they are cyborg clones of the same energy core.
And if you're a Potterhead, you'll see that its a concept remniscent of Harry's and Voldemort's twin Phoenix Feather wand cores. One cannot survive without the other, both must die for one to be vanquished.
Twins, clones, whatever you want to call it**—** it's a pattern you can't deny, and now I'm convinced in the present timeline, Caleb and her are linked in more ways than they appear to be.
Also love how Caleb x MC haters got their panties in a twist and Infold was literally like 'LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU' *drops myth trailer* Kudos to them for sticking with the planned lore and remaining unfazed by the initial controversy. They had to prime everyone before dropping this, and the ones who get it, get it.
Tumblr media
"Then it's a promise. In life and in death, we will never be apart."
You can't tell me these aren't their literal wedding vows HAHA I'm sickkk. Caleb basically said: 'Till death do us part? I think not..' The look in his eyes is so intense too like damn ok i'm all yours for eternity my dude.
I think the promise they made when they were born refers to his promise to protect her always. It's a call back to their childhood memories about Caleb protecting her like a ring system protects its planet; they are born together and they die together.
Here's my thoughts on their A-01 and X-02 titles:
Caleb was distinctively labeled Donor 002 while MC was labeled Subject 001 in old experiment documents by Gaia and Ever.
In Caleb's very first intro trailer and his new myth trailer, his title is X-02. Respectively, MC is A-01. They are a pair represented by the concepts of Death and Rebirth, the ideal weapons to destroy one another, as we're all aware.
'A' may represent 'Alpha' in the concept of 'Alpha and Omega' aka the 'Beginning and the End'. MC can miraculously revive after dying via her Aether Core and can only be fully destroyed (and by proxy reborn) by the power Caleb wields.
'X' is associated with 'with death and rebirth, as it is thought to mark the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. It is also often seen as a symbol of change or transition, as it represents the crossing of a threshold.'
Pretty straightforward. All I experience is pain with these two, and I. Need. More.
In honor of Caleb's myth dropping, I'm gonna post my embarrassingly long Supernova theory on the pair soon since I gleaned more insight from the myth trailer tidbits. Now I'm not sure if I should wait until reading his myth so I can go back and edit or just release it as is.
Might have to split it up into a few posts with their own section so its digestible lmao. It's been a couple months in the making and while it includes the scientific concepts explained in the Bound by Gravity, United in Resonance video, I also weaved it into the lore and the direction of Caleb's story. I've been a full believer in the Supernova Catalyst theory since Caleb was released and I'm excited to share my thoughts on them so stay tuned (his eyes are literal supernovas)!
My tumblr is Caleb Database and I plan to post more fun things like fics, lore theories, and fanart (I've already got one fic and two lore posts up). I'm also obsessed with Star Wars and Harry Potter, so you're likely to see some AU's of Caleb in these realms...

Theories for the upcoming Beyond Evil (괴물) Japanese Remake, Kaibutsu (怪物)
Basing my thoughts on previous Japanese media that I've watched. I'm writing this down to see how much of it will be proven correct (or wrong) when I get back to this after Kaibutsu airs.
One thing the Japanese are very good at is the psychological aspect of their stories. They mess with you mentally, creeping under your skin until you can't shake off the disturbing feeling.
I don't think they'll change anything significant from the Korean original when it comes to the plot, because it's so solidly and meticulously written. However, because Kaibutsu will only have 10 episodes compared to Beyond Evil's 16 episodes, I do think that they will trim down the story into the essential plot.
For one thing, based on the trailer released so far, compared to Beyond Evil's Manyang police substation, Kaibutsu's Hatano station seems to be down one cop. The confirmed characters of Hatano police station so far are:
Moridaira Saburo (Nam Sangbae)
Togashi Hiroyuki (Lee Dongsik)
Yashiro Masato (Han Joowon)
*Endo Yu (Oh Jihoon)
*Kasuya (Cho Gilgu) *exact names yet to be confirmed
This means that it's likely that it's Hwang Gwangyoung's character who's axed in the Japanese version, because Cho Gilgu's character is more essential to the plot.
If Kaibutsu is indeed going to be a more condensed, more tightly written version of Beyond Evil's original story, the axing of Gwangyoung's character already tells me two things:
There will be less red herrings involved, as one of Gwangyoung's purpose as a character is to be a red herring suspect.
There will also be less comedic relief, as Gwangyoung is also written almost like a foil to the seriousness of the other characters.
Whether or not this will be to the benefit or detriment of the story remains to be seen, but it does mean that if not in the core plot, Kaibutsu might differ in the execution.
And here's my theory about how they might achieve that:
Condensing the story means they can't afford to waste too much time with red herrings. How they will still execute the mystery / thriller aspect of it might be through a red herring point of view: through Masato's POV.
Beyond Evil's execution gives the audience a little "cheat" when it comes to the POV: we are already given a glimpse since the very beginning of how good of a person Dongsik is, especially with most of the Manyang gang vouching for him. Because we as the audience are already conditioned to think of Dongsik this way, we are also conditioned to question Joowon, the outsider who knows nothing of Dongsik except what is recorded in his file: a serial killer, suspected of killing his own twin sister.
What I theorize Kaibutsu might do is to portray Hiroyuki through Masato's eyes, in which this time, the audience (especially those watching for the very first time) gets to see Hiroyuki the way Masato sees him, without the cheat of knowing from the start whether or not Hiroyuki is actually a good person.
Whereas in Beyond Evil, the audience is conditioned to think of Joowon as crazy to ever suspect Dongsik, perhaps in Kaibutsu, the red herring will be conditioning the audience to think that Masato is insane to not suspect someone like Hiroyuki.
The precise execution of that plot twist—if my theory will be proven correct—is of prime interest to me, because knowing Japanese shows they actually do excel at this kind of mind games.
And what I'm actually looking forward to as well is that perhaps this kind of execution finally allows the audience to see Joowon / Masato not as the "asshole" that the Manyang POV painted him as, but as the righteous and somewhat reckless cop who is actually insane enough to infiltrate a suspected serial killer's hometown.
That maybe, just maybe, this kind of execution will allow the audience to empathize more with Masato, understanding more why he (and Joowon) made those choices because he doesn't have the "audience cheat code" of knowing Hiroyuki (and Dongsik) is in truth a good person.

And they say there's no real world applications for pure math.
Did you see that Magic: the Gathering now has a game state in which you need to prove that there are an infinite number of twin primes to win? I can explain it more if you are interested.
(With reference to this post here.)
By all means, please tell us about the Magic: the Gathering combo which requires proving the twin prime conjecture in order to win.

The Recording (TF1 Silver Aid)
Part 2 of TF1 Silver Aid
SFW, Platonic, Slight Familial, Hinted Romance, Angst, Cybertronian reader
TF1
Optimus was sitting at his new desk in Iacon, formerly Sentinel Prime’s, now his. As much as he hated the former ‘Prime’, he certainly knew how to pick out a good desk. His knee bounced in rapid motions as he read through the latest data pad set given. The pile just seemed to be growing by the hour and he wasn’t even sure if he finished the first original pile from the morning. Elita had stopped earlier to have a bit of energon with him while keeping him up to date of the mining situation. Now that energon was flowing once again throughout the planet, mining for the now abundant resource was getting put away for good.
The Commander did mention hitting a bit of a snag while trying to uncover the other sublevels. Both knew about sublevel 50’s existence, but they hadn’t seen the other levels yet. Another thing to put on the to do list on top of the other hundred of things Optimus needed to review. Luckily Elita was on that case, he could trust her to get some work done there. There was still a lot to do concerning rebuilding Iacon and getting order done in the mines and caste system. It was boring work, but necessary. It was now getting closer to the evening time and Optimus could practically hear his berth calling out to him. Soon his optics began to glaze over the glyphs as his mind wondered to That day.
When D-16—No… when Megatron had been banished.
When He banished him.
And Silver Aid… oh Silver… If only he had acted faster instead of gawking like everyone else, maybe she would still be here.
Her alt mode…  was… peculiar to put it in nicer words.
Not a traditional alt mode by any means, but that was no reason for the other bots to start calling her a monster. Sure, it was a bit creepy, but it wasn’t that bad. In a strange way the alt mode reminded him of Arachnid’s legs, long and deadly looking. One of B-127’s theories on her alt mode came from which Prime’s cog she had gotten. It was that or she ‘always had a beast inside her’. Quite frankly, the new Prime was putting his shanix on the first idea.
Optimus remembered Elita running through the crowd (tossing some resisting bots aside) trying to reach her twin. Jazz was one of those unlucky bots that had the misfortune of standing in her way. The poor mech had landed on his newly welded pede the wrong way and needed to go back to the medbay. At least Elita did apologise… this time.
Optimus remembered B-127 trying to calm everyone down, saying that that was his friend and not a monster. No one paid any attention to the yellow bot… at least until he took out his ‘knife hands’, the attention was on the bot.
Optimus remembered the look of terror on Silver Aid’s face as she ran.
Now Optimus’s Amica had been missing for a couple months and there was no sign or trail of where she could have gone. Well… there was one theory… but he refused to believe in it.
The Prime pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed tiredly.
Suddenly the office doors flew open. Optimus startled, clicked in his battle mask and was ready to fight.
“Woah there OP! It’s just us.”
Hearing Jazz’s voice made the Prime relax and unclick his mask. It was just B-127, Jazz, and Prowl at the doorway.
“Sorry about that guys.”
Bumblebee chimed in “No problem! We actually came up here ‘cause we found something! Well, more like Elita found something. She looked kinda sick too, maybe too much dust in the vents. But this thing kinda looks like the thing you found on Steve’s head when you killed him—”
Prowl’s doorwings stiffen at the last sentence. “Killed who?”
Jazz patted his shoulder, already remembering the story Optimus had to tell after Bee let that bombshell out while working with some of the heavier carts. Mental note to put better handles on the carts. “I’ll explain later Prowler.”
“Anyways maybe its another recording of the Prime’s or something!” B passed the bigger mech the small metal disc.
The recording chip didn’t look as old as the one Alpha Trion had sent out, but then again, it could have been hidden somewhere safe and kept in great condition.
Optimus nodded. “Play it.”
Megatron was sitting on his newly built throne processor deep in thought. His new group, the Decepticon’s, were becoming official. The last of the branding ceremonies had just finished and it was time to look at the future. A future without any Prime’s to look up to.
It had been a couple months since Prime had banished him and the High Guard from Iacon.
A couple of months since he had terminated Sentinel Prime.
A couple months since he had seen Silver Aid…
If there were some bots he had hoped he could count on to be at his time of need it was Orion Pax and Silver Aid. Both had left him.
…Maybe left wasn’t the right word for this scenario.
Orion was dead.
Offline.
Terminated.
Replaced by Optimus Prime.
Silver Aid was… somewhere, probably with Prime.
Megatron didn’t register her transformation while making his speech on Iacon. According to Soundwave, she had transformed in some sort of beast never seen before. Some of the others had mentioned hearing around that the ‘creepy bot’ had ran away around the same time they had left Iacon.
Did this leave him a bit worried when he first heard the news?
Yes, but surely her Amica and twin had found her and were taking care of each other... leaving him alone to his own devices.
The sounds of pede steps alerted Megatron from his thoughts.
It was Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave. The ‘Big 3’ as some of the other High Guard members had come to know them as.
“Megatron, our scanners had detected a strange frequency on the planets surface. We went to investigate only to find this.” Shockwave held a small recording chip in his digits. It reminded him of the small recording chip that Orion had found after ‘decapitating’ B-127’s ‘friend’ Steve.
“Is the recording still in there?”
Soundwave nodded. “Affirmative.”
“Then play it.”
Optimus’s optics widen seeing Silver Aid’s face appear in the hologram. While the graphics weren’t the best, there was glitches, and the low hum of static was played, there was without a shadow of a doubt that the bot in the recording was his Amica.
The bots with him were just as surprised.
“What in Primus’s name?”
“Isn’t that Silver?”
“What’s on her helm?”
The last comment by B caught the other’s attention as they looked a bit closer at the helm. It had some sort of marking on it, vaguely familiar but no one could pinpoint it. The helm glitched a couple times before the bots realized what it was.
It was a branded marker.
The hologram glitched again for a minute.
“I-is this—this—working? Pr--Pri--primus please work… Already… make… two recordings… Got it!”
The static lessened a bit.
“This is a recording to any Autobot or Decepticon who gets this—this message. Get th—this to Optimus or Meg—Megatron. We are… —we need—”
A shadow had appeared over Silver’s frame making her stop talking.
Terror was in her optics.
“Oh, Primus no…”
…”
“Oh, Primus no…”
Whatever Silver Aid was looking at seemed to be coming closer.
So, she ran.
Megatron and the other High Guard members around him stared intently at hologram Silver Aid sprinting and jostling the recording around. It made some of the bots a bit sick to watch. The look in her optics was something Megatron could have lived without knowing.
Pure, unadulterated, Fear.
“The—are back! They are trying—don’t know—Primus!”
A spear narrowly missed Silver’s helm.
After a bit more running, it looked like Silver Aid had finally found a place to hide. Looking over her shoulder before going back recording with a strange expression.
“Both recordings will have half of the coordinates to the ship. Don’t ev—even think abo—about going alone. We all—we all mu—must work together, it’s the only way—”
The sound of an explosion rang out knocking both Silver and the recording a bit back.
Megatron’s optics strained to see what was going on in the recording, almost calling out for her. He stopped himself before the sound came out of his mouth.
Silver Aid was now sprawled on the floor, groaning and trying to get up. She looked at the recording and gave a watery smile.
“They—they’re here… I’m sorry everyone…sorry I can’t-- It’ll all are one.”
Suddenly a tentacle shot out from behind her and wrapped itself around Silver Aid’s neckcables, yanking her back. Silver Aid yelped as she struggled fruitlessly to get the tenacle from her neck. The recording ended with Silver Aid screaming and clawing the floor as she was dragged into the darkness behind her. A bunch of small glyphs appeared at the bottom of the paused recording.
Megatron hadn’t noticed that he had gripped the armrest on his throne so tight it had twisted itself and broken clean off.
Everyone looked various degrees of frighten and concerned.
Starscream was the first to speak up. “Megatron, what do we do?”
Megatron optics were still trained on the recording.
“Leave me. I will address the situation in due time.”
They all nodded and hesitantly left the throne room.
His optics still did not leave the recording’s image. He vented deeply as he placed both his servos in his face. Too many questions and thoughts were racing in his processor at the moment.
And Silver Aid was to blame.
The bots stared at the end of the recording as the tiny glyphs appeared on it.
B-127 was the first to break the silence. “Is she…”
Optimus didn’t want to think on that possibility.
Prowl looked uneasy. “That explains Elita One’s behavior.”
The Prime paused before looking at the mech. “What? Elita?”
Jazz nodded. “She was the one who found it. B said she looked sick to her tanks when she found it.”
Oh Primus Elita…
If she had seen this before hand…
B-127 looked over at his friend with concern.
Optimus stood up.
“I need to be alone for a minute.”
The bots looked at each other before leaving the room.
“Not you B… I need you here.”
B-127 immediately turned around and shut the doors. His infamous motor mouth had activated.
“What are we gonna do? Silver’s somewhere and we don’t know where. Not to mention what has her! Prowl’s probably getting the coordinates with Jazz or maybe Jazz went to go get Elita—”
“B… do you know where Elita is now?”
The yellow bot paused before shaking his helm.
“No idea. I can try calling her if you want.”
“Please.”
B-127 nodded and started the calls.
The entire time the recording had been going on, Optimus had been trying to reach Silver Aid through the Amica bond. He hadn’t felt anything the entire time. Sitting in his seat, he could only stare at the tiny glyphs, taunting him in a way.
Thankfully B managed to get a message out to Elita to get to Optimus as soon as possible. The smaller bot sat in one of the chairs in the room, looking over at his friend anxiously.
“What are we going to do now?”
Optimus sighed.
“I’m going after her.”
“Then I’m coming with you!”
Optimus shook his helm.
“B, its too—”
The yellow bot interrupted him firmly. “Silver’s my friend too. I want my friend back safe and sound. Where you go, I go. Plus, I’m pretty sure that Elita is gonna say the same thing.”
The Prime chuckled a bit thinking about his Commander.
“Yeah… she would say that.”
There was a pause.
“What’s gonna be the first step?”
Optimus hated this part.
“…First we’re going to need to pay Megatron a little visit…”

I don't know anything abt super paper mario. But with the info i have gathered from youtube, tv tropes and fan comics. I made a headcanon abt mario and luigi's brotherly love being whst saves luigi from his apocalypse maiden fate
Gosh I wish I could find the text post that references this entire theory, but I love the idea that Luigi was technically fated to be this dark, apocalyptic "evil twin" type character, but isn't because... 1. He's too kindhearted by nature 2. The brotherly love between him and Mario is too strong to let that kindness get corrupted Luigi was captured by evil magikoopas as an infant (foiled by baby Mario's twin sense and desire to be reunited with his brother.)
Tumblr media
Luigi is unwittingly drawn toward morbid forces dealing with ghosts and the paranormal (he uses the knowledge he gathers to save his brother.)
Tumblr media
Depending on the canon, Luigi's is in an environment primed to propagate feelings of jealousy and resentment (he idolizes his brother too much to let it get to him.)
Tumblr media
And, of course, let's not forget his apocalypse maiden status in Super Paper Mario (You can NOT tell me that Mario's love for Luigi didn't have an effect on the strength of those pure hearts.)
Like. Mmm YES! Defying the cruel laws of an unkind fate sheerly by the power of loving your sibling too hard? Accidentally denying your role as a dark god and a fearsome entity because you just want to go home and eat dinner with your brother?
Good stuff.

I mentioned this briefly in my other post, but I think (having played maybe 4 games of MtG in my life and knowing nothing about tournament play) that any realistic version of this game favors Alice, because she doesn't actually have to come up with primes, she just has to come up with numbers that Bob can't factor.
So say, if Bob says "one million", she could say "one million factorial plus one", and then Bob would have to factor one of (10^6)!+1 or (10^6)!-1 to block her. (Hopefully some clever person who knows number theory will say "but what about Wilson's theorem?" But it doesn't help here because 10^6+1 is easily checked to be composite, so doesn't divide (10^6)!+1.)
Ok first of all, the MTG game state doesn't just need the TPC to be true, it also needs a way to generate arbitrarily large twin primes, which I seriously doubt will ever happen. I'm not sure I understand your objection but Alice can't simply pick a larger prime number than Bob's number: He can respond (once) by reducing her number by 1, making it composite and her card doesn't work if it's composite. She can however, reduce her number by 1 also, making it prime again/the smaller twin prime.
My objection is that in a game, it sounds as if the players need to designate specific numbers. I'm no mathematician, but I don't think finding out whether a specific number is still prime when you do stuff to it proves stuff about all numbers.

Yall I had a big brain moment
But also if you haven’t seen RHRN then do not read this.
Primo Secondo and Terzo are all confirmed to be full brothers
But secondo and Terzo and three months apart. That meant the woman who birthed Secondo would have been pregnant with Terzo and Secondo at the same time? Which obviously is impossible.
Which could feed into the Copia and Terzo are twins idea. I’m not sure how far apart Copia is from Terzo though, however this could be a huge possibility. I also acknowledge that Nihil could have just got another woman pregnant because he couldn’t wait for his prime mover to be able to have children again.
We have seen how young Nihil was with women from the Kiss The Go Goat chapter though that was just a kiss.
We saw in RHRN Nihil truly truly loves Imperator, he chased her through any condition and clung to her car because he wanted to prove his love. Which would suggest his other sons are to a prime mover and the only children that were birthed out of love was Terzo and Copia.
But it also seems Nihil was an absent father most of the time leaving his eldest sons to take care of the younger ones. Maybe Terzo and Copia aren’t twins but they have the same mother instead? Would also explain why while primo and Secondo got to peacefully give their titles to their predecessors, Terzo got dragged offstage. Because he wasn’t ‘fully’ part of the bloodline in Nihils eyes. He didn’t deserve to pass down the title it had to be taken from him.
Also nihil did NOT like the fact Terzo was getting to cocky. Reminded Nihil of how he was when he was younger.
There’s also the problem of Nihil not seeing Copia as part of the bloodline, perhaps out of hate of Copia being younger and more able, or that Copia was nothing like the previous Papas. But Imperator is so determined to actually secure Copia in place because she knows after his papacy comes to an end he will take her place.
I also think that Imperator KNEW about her condition early on. Maybe that’s why she drove off a cliff to try and end her suffering (but it didn’t work) so she uses her remaining time to try and get copia ready, I also believe she felt guilt about killing Terzo her other son.
Who knows this is just a theory

In Hungary, couples are offered a one-off loan upon the birth of their first child, totaling £25,000. Its repayment is delayed if they bear a second child within six years and written off if they bear a third. In Russia, a “maternity capital” grant is made per child — around £6,000. In Poland, an ongoing benefit known as the Family 500+ allocates around £100 per child per month, after the second child. The results of these schemes have been — in demographic terms — unimpressive. Nonetheless, the Right across Europe and the world have praised them. In Italy, the government has mimicked these Eastern European initiatives in the form of the Family Act, a monthly allowance paid per child; in Greece the government has introduced a £1,000 baby bonus paid after birth. An individualized incentive to procreate has become the mainstay of right-wing pronatalist governments across Europe. In Italy and in Greece, the Right and center right have presented pronatalist policies as a response to the rapidly aging population. References to babies as the wage earners and taxpayers of the future is the acceptable face of pronatalism. It has provided a language with which Britain’s right, constrained by the generally liberal outlook of its fellow citizens, has felt comfortable associating itself. Referencing the falling tax revenue of the childless future, Cates said, “if you think things are underfunded now, just wait for what’s coming down the road.” But in Europe, pronatalism has frequently meant white supremacism. This connection has been made the most explicit in Viktor Orbán’s Hungary. At a demography conference in 2020, the far-right conspiracy theory of the “great replacement” was openly referenced by the prime minister and his associates. “There are,” Orbán claimed, “political forces in Europe who want a replacement of population for ideological or other reasons.” To ensure its survival, Europe must, his families’ minister argued, cease to be “the continent of the empty crib.” Cates also, more subtly, talks about the British population falling “below replacement levels,” one of several racist dog whistles in her National Conservatism primetime speech. Pronatalist polices — whether enacted or envisaged — tend to have a quiet twin: anti-immigration lawmaking. In all of Europe’s right-wing states, populist anti-immigration policies have led to militarized borders, ever-decreasing provision for asylum seekers, and the demonization of economic migrants. Poland’s prime minister put it explicitly: “In Germany, billions of euros are spent on support for immigrants, but here these billions of złotys are spent on Polish families.” Cates does so more indirectly: it is immigrants, she claims, who are to blame for the housing crisis leaving “British families” behind. Binding electoral concerns that have tended to speak to women and younger votes — children and homes — to the xenophobic populism of the swaggering masculinity of the Brexit campaign, pronatalism may be a vote winner for the Conservatives.

Ah :-\
I mean, I don't deny that a TFP x SG TFP can be good, i guess
I don't know where to start with, although
I gotchu fam. Transcribed from discord
TFP, during the hunt for the relics. The ones they've found are split pretty evenly between the bots and cons, and there's been yet another located. It's unclear exactly what it does, the discovered data corrupted, but if the previous ones are any indication, it's surely important. Both teams are in the same scene, vying for control of their new find and desperate to make off with it to secure the upper hand. Its a pretty balanced battle until someone, idk who, lands a blaster shot way too close to the relic and it promptly goes nuclear. Massive explosion of sound and impossibly bright light, shockwaves travelling out in a ring and throwing everyone back. It stuns pretty much everyone, with the smaller mecha (vehicons, Arcee, maybe Starscream) being more heavily effected.
Imagine their surprise as they're peeling themselves off the ground, audials ringing and internals rattling... and there's suddenly double the amount of bodies as before. We'll focus on Arcee for the sake of clarity: she sits up with all sensors trying to recalibrate and groans, muttering to herself, "What the slag was that?"
Another voice, her voice, utters it at exactly the same time and she sobers up quick, finding herself nose-to-nose with a perfect, carbon copy. They're perfect mirrors of each other, each leaping up with weapons primed in a defensive stance in perfectly identical movements, and flinching back in surprise when they find their doppelganger doing the same thing. Everything, doen to the tiniest detail, even when they blink, it's the same.
It's not just Arcee either, it's everyone. Two Bumblebees, two Arcees, two Soundwave, two Starscreams, two of everyone! The relic is nowhere to be seen, none of their sensors can pick up on it, and everyone is so caught up in the confusion of sudden doppelgangers the battlefield disperses. They all evcuate back to their respective bases
The only autobot not at the fight was Ratchet, and he has no idea what to make of it. They appear to be perfect clones, similar to the Starscream incident. That's his leading theory until Arcee, one of the Arcees, mentions that she is not a clone, thank you very much, and even if she was there's no way she'd wear blue and pink paint. The newcomers insist that they're not copies, and this is definitely not where they're supposed to be.
They're from another dimension >:3
Without the relic there's no way to reverse engineer what happened to them, and the most the team here has ever done with different realities is the bit with the shadow zone. But this is much more advanced than that, and trying to return them is, uhhhh. Not gonna be easy.
Things seem ok for the first few hours. The new autobots keep to themselves, clustering around their Prime and speaking in hushed whispers. The native bots try to give them privacy--they've just been through a crazy, impossible situation and are stranded in another dimension. It makes sense they'd be stressed, and if the way hands are waving and faces are frowning while they argue quietly in the corner is any indication, they're not too happy about being stuck here.
They try to make the newcomers feel welcome, and Bumblebee + Smokescreen are especially delighted. Smokey declared that he's, "Always wanted to have a twin!" and promptly invites them to go for a joyride. Offering to let them come pick up the kids from school, they'll lose their minds when they see!
To which the new BB and SS look at them completely befuddled. They have sparklings here?
To which they're told no, definitely not! Our human children, silly. Every single new autobot turns to look at them so fast it's a little uncanny, expressions ranging from unreadable to downright shocked.
"...human children?" The new Prime asks, his tone quizzical, optics slightly narrow as if he's suspicious of their claim. "You employ human children?"
"Wha- no no no, they don't work for us!" They wouldn't use child labor, after all! They explain that the kids, mostly, just hang out with them. They're more for companionship than anything, and the new Optimus looks even more baffled.
"You... keep them as... pets?"
No, definitely not!!
As it turns out, these autobots don't have human companions. At all. No kiddos to look after, no government contacts, nothing. It's a bit odd, but hey, they come from another dimension, and if Jack hadn't gotten handsy with Arcee on that random afternoon, they likely wouldn't have humans around, either. Other-Arcee just wasn't at the right place at the right time, that's all.
New Prime doesn't say anything further, just kind of nods and goes back to quietly conversing with Ultra Magnus.
It's weird, when the kids arrive, the new autobots almost seem skittish of them. Reluctant to touch them, giving them a wide berth and taking comically large steps over them. Poor things must be afraid of hurting them 🤭
The trio is very excited to meet the newcomers, as predicted. They try to make friends but they really aren't interested. The closest they get to being even acquaintances is an offer of paint to make them easier to distinguish, and the newcomers are aaall over it. Other Arcee paints herself deep purple and silver, Bumblebee is now silver and green, Optimus himself is purple and black.
There's little tells that seem a bit odd--when the new Prime walks into a room, his soldiers don't stand at attention but instead fold their servos and lower their helms. They seem vaguely put off by human squishiness, thinly veiled distaste. And they're very eager to fight decepticons, moreso than usual, but wartime grudges can make anyone a little overly enthusiastic, right? Nothing that really strikes them as wrong, though. Not yet. Lord Prime's orders are to maintain cover until they can get their Ratchet to produce a means to travel home--then, wipe all life off the face of this planet and conquer it in the name of the Dynasty of Optronix Prime
They manage to keep their cover right up until Optronix lays eyes on this universe's Megatron 🤭

"Horde Prime was said to have two heads"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know what, lemme bring my old sketches back, cause lord knows i wasnt annoying enough about this lil piece of wiki trivia about filmation Prime (literally the more i learn about the 80s HP the more insane I get about my Kur Twins au cause how does this fact fits it so perfectly)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basically, this idea is an AU for an AU, where Horde Prime's backstory is the same except for the fact that he and his brother are conjoined twins Since in this version the boys look exactly like their planet's local deity (also known as The Comet Brothers) they were worshipped since day 1 and the religious community didn't even need to convince people that they were truly the ones. In this story Anillis and Hec-Tor actually believed in their divine origins and feared to be proven wrong, because if they're no saints then they're just... strange kids, a burden to their community, unlovable defects. They were certain that they had no other choice but to embrace sainthood
So they gladly played along and were exploited by the high priests until a massive investigation was conducted that proved to the world that the boys had no godly powers and thus couldn't be real protectors of Krytis. Feeling useless, lost, humiliated and unwanted, Anillis and Hec-Tor wished to be seperated for the first time in their entire life. Thus came the idea of making new perfect bodies for both of them. It took them way longer than in the og backstory, but in the end, they succeeded. The problem was - they didn't like being in seperate bodies. After decades of sharing a life and a body, such huge change felt weird, unpleasant and scary. The brothers had given each other a chance at normalcy but soon rejected it, despite it all
But once they switched back, they discovered that the new bodies could move and speak on their own, that those were not just bodies but fully developed sentient people. It is when it hit them - the brothers had just created life. Their scientific invention could as well be seen as magic. They do have powers, they are saints, they are stars. No, they are better, more powerful than all of the stars in the vast sky. And they shall be treated as such. And they will make Krytis and the rest of the known universe fear and adore them, everyone will pay for ever doubting the brothers and casting them aside. But at first - they still needed a new body. One body for both of them, but this time stronger, more beautiful, more perfect. And of course, they couldn't just leave their new brothers behind too...
The 80s Horde Prime had two heads, the spop Prime's design at some point had four arms. The assymetricall extra eyes, the clones he keeps calling his brothers. It's almost like there's always someone else with HP, unseen entitity following him everywhere, a phantom limb that still hurt at times, a part of him that could complete him but is missing. In conclusion, Hec-Tor is real and he's been hunting the narrative even in the 4th dimention (this is in fact a joke) Also, funny enough, this is my only au where I can see Prime changing for the better and not dying in the end, since here they're only a little insane, Anillis and Hec-Tor do keep each other humble after all. It's even possible that the clones are having a slightly better time serving this version of Prime

co-prime vs twin primes
Ernest and Dewey talk to Bertrand about number theory, individually.
~0.7k
[ao3] [squidgeworld]
__
"So you know how, like, any two positive integers with a difference of one must be co-prime numbers?" Ernest says suddenly.
Bertrand blinks. "Say that again?"
"Co-prime numbers," Ernest waves a hand. "A pair of integers which their greatest - and only - common divisor is 1."
"Sure," Bertrand says. "I know that."
"Right," Ernest nods. "So, two consecutive integers -"
Bertrand catches on. "- must be co-prime numbers because if n is a multiple of x, then n+1 cannot be - unless x is 1."
"Exactly," Ernest agrees. He pauses for a moment, and then says, briskly, "Sometimes I think - Frank and I are like that."
Bertrand frowns. "Like co-prime numbers?"
"Like co-prime numbers that are only one apart," Ernest corrects. "Seemingly close, almost the same. Just differing by one. By in fact without any common ground. Only common divisor is 1. Just next to each other, and yet -" he breaks off.
Bertrand is silent for a moment. "And how does Dewey fit into that, in your coprime numbers theory?"
"Easy," Ernest says. "He's on the other side of me. Same situation. But in this case, they're both even numbers, where I'm the odd one out. So they share something."
"Both divisible by 2, you mean."
"Exactly."
"You do realize that if the difference between them is only 2, if they're 'the two even numbers to each side of your odd number', as you put it, then their greatest common divisor is also only 2? The only other common divisor aside from one. That doesn't sound like a lot either." Bertrand points out.
Ernest shrugs. "But enough to fundamentally set them apart, give them common ground to bond over without me."
Bertrand looks skeptical. "Even numbers versus odd numbers?"
"Kind of like the schism, wouldn't you say?" Ernest says.
"Not at all - the schism isn't two sides, people just like to pretend it is," Bertrand counters. "VFD has so many sides that this isn't a polygon anymore, it's a circle."
Ernest scoffs.
Bertrand sighs. "Oh, E. Maybe common ground is more than which basic traits you share, if you're so inclined to break yourself down as if doing prime factorization and compare them. Maybe common ground is what you're willing to put in effort to find, all three of you. And - you're all still here, so that has to count for something, right?"
Ernest doesn't say anything.
"Let me make you some tea," Bertrand says.
__
"B," Dewey says. "Sometimes I think they're like twin primes."
Bertrand pauses. "Sorry, what?"
"Twin primes. When two prime numbers that have exactly one composite number between them. Like, 11 and 13. 101 and 103."
"Right," Bertrand says slowly. "I've heard of that."
Dewey continues, "The theory is that there are actually infinite pairs of them, although it gets sparser as numbers get larger. There are mathematicians dedicated to finding them, I think."
"Are we certain there are infinite pairs?" Bertrand asks.
"I don't think anybody knows for sure," Dewey shrugs. "But, as they get sparser - it kind of feels more special when you find one, doesn't it? Famous as the next pair of twin primes as the number keeps going into infinity."
"Sure," Bertrand says slowly. He has a faint suspicion of where this is going.
"But nobody really cares much about the composite number between them, do they?"
Bertrand raises an eyebrow. "The 12 to 11 and 13, the 102 to 101 and 103?"
"And the 140730 to 140729 and140731," Dewey nods.
"I'll take your word for it," Bertrand says dryly.
"My point is, the pair of twin primes is what gets documented, put on a list, go down in history -"
"- and you are the composite number between them?"
"That gets forgotten." Dewey says, nodding.
"I'm not so sure about that," Bertrand says. "Once the number gets large enough - with so many digits - it must be terribly inconvenient to refer to them directly. It's not 11 and 13 anymore. It could be hundreds of digits."
Dewey blinks.
"So, they probably don't refer them in the way of 11 and 13. It'll be, 12-1 and 12+1. In reference to 12. Because 12 is a composite number that can be broken down, can be represented more easily because if has a lovely set of prime numbers making up to it. So to represent the twin primes, they're in fact both referenced using the composite number between them." Bertrand says. He looks at Dewey, and gently takes hold of Dewey's hands. "I wouldn't call that forgotten."
"I ….. I guess haven't thought about it that way," Dewey admits. He sighs. "Thanks, B."
"Anytime," Bertrand replies.

Prime Time II Thoughts
1. Whitehorn is my theory for the folks on TV, or at least, a rework of him. I've had a feeling he's our Buffalo Minotaur since I heard the name (his bull imagery for the company). There's something there with Whitehorn's official reason for being absent being he has syphilis and the Temple's Gate Cult also having a shit ton of syphilis (obviously later down the line, but still, I feel it might be purposeful that it's the same STD mentioned). Again, much later on in Outlast 2 we meet the big guy and little guy (idk their names sorry) and that picture made me think of them. Maybe twins, maybe siblings or cousins, hell, maybe a couple. The pictures on screen look to be someone with their hair in a bun and then the other is Whitehorn adjacent, at least to me, making me think it's a complete rework of him and then a companion of some kind. As of right now, I think maybe it's Mrs Whitehorn, but that's mainly because I wanna see a real freaky couple in the Trials 👀
2. @alien-atomz brought up that he thinks that they will reuse the Mansion in the tutorial and rebirth for their map. He also noticed that they have the American flag behind them on the TV instead of police lineup height charts, and obviously the broadcasts in the Escape Event would have the national anthem and flag on screen sometimes. Documents point towards Murkoff getting involved in politics, Kennedy specifically. We're officially in 1960 in the Trials timeline, and the next election takes place in 61 - I think a coming ending is a Reagent assassinating JFK.
3. The new categorisation makes me believe even stronger in my theory about Prime Assets sharing Environments going forwards. Would explain Coyle's lines in the files for being in the Docks and Riot (now Suburbs, I assume, especially with the radio broadcasts in that Trial talking about police violence in response to the riots)
4. A lot of diner stuff over the last few months. All of Breach is diner based and then the new outfit, I know Downtown has a diner, but it's so tucked away and dark and not even the core landmark of that environment, and then there's also one in Futterland, but that's only temporary, once you reach the Root Canal, it's unimportant. Several diner-like places show up in the Trials, like that area outside of The Thin Blue Line. Makes me wonder if we're getting a diner as a main landmark for an upcoming Trial, perhaps even the one in Downtown, all lit up properly. Also I LOVE that uniform, need to get it for Roxy, it's SO her 🥰
5. Amelia is still alive, and I heavily doubt she's gonna be a Prime Asset. The Reagents have taken her work and are going to continue it, and the "she" mentioned in one of the new documents (the one about someone having learnt Japanese to talk to Kusamura) CAN'T be Amelia, I'm almost sure of it. I think either Murkoff will put her down, or she'll be helped to escape now that she's in medical and will start up a new riot. But I'm very excited to see what happens next with girlie!!
6. Lot of plant imagery. Kress is obviously a type of like, lettuce, and chemicals are often made of plants. Getting "old lady who likes to garden" imagery from one of the folks on screen, maybe this links to that? Not sure. The ESOP has a tree, obviously family tree shit, but the houseplants are a little different. The pattern on the sweater and pants is weird, thought it was police badges from afar but I have no idea what it's meant to be. Also LOVE the baseball shit, I literally just came up with a baseballer Reagent and now this comes out? My guys are EATING
7. Looking forward to the Cult connections coming up!! I had a thought that the Reagents could literally run straight to Albuquerque since it's only a week long trip away from where I think Sinyala is geographically, so they could potentially get there before dying of dehydration or their injuries. Knoth has been mentioned in the files and now stuff about a Judas Goat, the upside down cross from 2 being in the road map, I'm so happy I was right and the Reagents DO make it to civilisation... Just a shame they run into Knoth in the process.
Still, I can dream that Roxy thinks he's gross and keeps on going and runs away to live in the Canadian wilderness or something 🙂‍↕️

Transformers EarthSpark Season 2 Spoilers
If I had to describe S2A in one word, it would be: Disappointing.
Others have said this before me, but if you were a fan of S1 this most definitely isn't the show for you anymore.
S2A is so far inferior to S1 in every conceivable way. The animation, the characters, the story, it all just feels so half-assed. Every single interesting concept S1 introduced, S2A either mangled beyond belief or flat-out erased from existence.
The few new interesting things that do come up in S2A don't last long and/or are underdeveloped.
Tensions between humans and Cybertronians? Never mentioned. All the racism died with Mandroid and GHOST, I guess.
The Terrans' connection to Quintus Prime? Pfft, you're still on that? It's all about the Quintessons now, keep up nerd!
Starscream's development and start on the road to recovery from trauma? Gone. He's back to being the villain now for no reason whatsoever. He murders two actual children. What, did you think we were still doing that silly nuance thing from S1? Lol, sucks to be you.
The ongoing theme about the Transformer War not being as black and white as history would have people believe? Ummm, ackshually, the Decepticons are inherently evil and irredeemable. The Autobots are saints and have never done anything wrong or questionable, ever. Ignore the prison complex from last season that performed unethical experiments on prisoners of war. Y'know that same one that the Autobots knew about and supplied with Decepticon prisoners.
Spitfire and Aftermath are interesting in theory, but S2A doesn't really do anything with them besides making them the generic Evil Twin characters to Twitch and Jawbreaker respectively. And then Starscream murders them for his evil masterplan, which feels like a colossal waste.
I've been saying since S1 that it would be interesting to have a Terran actually choose the Decepticons over both the Autobots and the Maltos. It would've been a neat way to explore the family dynamic the 'Cons have compared to the Maltos and maybe show that just because a family is different from yours, maybe not as physically affectionate or as instantly harmonious, doesn't mean it's worse. We had a good start with Aftermath and Breakdown but that never really goes anywhere before Starscream does a Fuck Them Kids.
The Decepticons are just evil again now. Great. I guess we're completely throwing the "history isn't black-and-white" thing out of the window, huh? That whole thing where it was implied the Decepticons were rising up against an unjust system a la Aligned continuity and IDW? We kind of had a very significant confrontation between Megatron and Shockwave about that in that one episode that even explicitly referenced IDW? Or how about the whole "This is not freedom" plot line about how mayyybe throwing every Decepticon in the slammer forever might be, just might be, bad? We had a whole episode about that? Soundwave was in it?
Nah, 'Cons are unambiguously evil. Always. Especially that no-good Starscream. "What Dwells Within" and "The Last Hope, Part 2" might as well have never happened, because Starscream sure as hell doesn't act like they did. He barely even interacts with Hashtag. "Come on, did you expect Starscream to be a good guy now?" No bitch, I expected believable character development. I find it hard to believe that the same Starscream who saved Hashtag from the Cybertronian equivalent of a vampire, at risk to his own life, and then told her to take care of herself as a good-bye would just suddenly go back to the same moustache-twirling evilness we'd be expecting from G1 Starscream. You expect me to buy that this guy is the same Starscream as the one who showed up with the entire cavalry to save the world in the S1 finale?? Why go through the trouble of giving Starscream an entire episode going into his trauma and abuse and learning to be better if this is all it amounts to in the end??? At least show us how it happened? What made Starscream suddenly completely regress like that??? I don't know and the way it's going I don't think EarthSpark is all that interested in explaining it.
The Maltos remain a criminally underdeveloped hive mind. And no, I don't consider adding even more powers to their arsenal character development. Robbie and Mo still don't have any friends outside of their siblings and this season did nothing to change my mind on the cybersleeve connection being borderline creepy and making the characters co-dependent. "The Butterfly Effect" basically showed us all the reasons why having your siblings in your head 24/7 with no way to turn it off would actually suck. Cybersynching is so obviously combining with a new coat of paint and it's not even used or utilized that much in this batch.
We did not need the Quintessons in this season. At all. They added nothing except implying that Quintus Prime is shady af. Which, we been knew? The whole of "Prime Time" is literally Quintus torturing a little girl for being upset her big brother is sick and probably dying. If you wanted to explore Quintus through one of his creations seeing him in a much less benevolent light, well, how do I put this? There were two whole new characters added this season you could've done this with. Aftermath and Spitfire not being in the "We Love Quintus Prime" club together with the rest of the Terrans would make sense, since they're far more rebellious and anti-authoritarian. That would've given them something interesting to do besides being minor nuisances to the Delightful Maltos from Down the Lane.
I've heard that EarthSpark isn't doing well both in ratings and in toy sales and after that first batch I can see why.
The show is not all bad, but legit none of these characters are developed enough or distinct enough that I could see a kid wanting a toy of them. And that goes double for older fans.
The writers messed up big time and I honestly don't know if I'm gonna stay and see if they fix it in S2B.

Hi! Subscribed to you for quite a while. You have a very cool writing style! Read a lot of posts and decided to request too)))
Okay, how about Buddy's Bot with the Russian greyhound altmode? It's a breed of hunting dogs that run really fast. Imagine what Buddy's character would be like! Energetic, restless, almost as fast as Blurr, cheerful, but can be serious if necessary. Oh, don't forget their very sharp nose! Maybe during the great war they were a scout that no one could catch?
How would the TFA Autobots react?
PS: Take care of yourself and don't overwork))) Sorry for my mistakes, English is not my native language, hehe)
This is something new, I welcome the challenge!
Hope you enjoy!
Bot Buddy with a Russian Greyhound alt mode with Team Prime
SFW, Platonic, Cybertronain reader
TFA
Buddy had chosen a peculiar mode of transportation when they arrived on Earth.
To be fair they thought the greyhound was a mode of transportation and not an organic pet.
When they were offered the option to change alt modes they declined.
They had grown rather fond of this alt mode.
Buddy was happy to get an alt mode that was different than the others, it made them stand out more and they liked that.
This form was fast, perfect for their speedster form.
The nose certainly took a while to get used to, but their new frame worked perfectly with their restless pedes.
Team that tries to calm the bot down a bit
These bots want Buddy to slow down a bit. Not permanently but enough to listen to instructions better and to take breaks. They understood that Buddy was rather energetic, but it was also important to take breaks every now and then. On the plus side, they get along great with Blurr. Though they do warn Buddy about teaming up with Blurr. As much as they want to catch the bad guys, they also don’t want the streets to get too damaged by their pedes or for their pedes to get damaged by something in the way.
Optimus
Prowl
Ratchet
Team that likes having an energetic team mate
These bots find their new team member to be a great addition. They can certainly keep up with the faster villains. Meaning Bumblebee would have back up now instead of trying to take them on his own. Their cheerful attitude is something they certainly love about this bot. they aren’t too serious about everything and can take a joke. Buddy is often used as a Blurr translator whenever he comes around the Plant. How does Budy know what Blurr is saying? There are many theories, but none have been tested out.
Bumblebee
Bulkhead
Sari
Team that wants to race the bot
These bots want to race Buddy all the time. Since Blurr is more focused on doing his undercover work than racing, Buddy is the next best bot to race. They don’t care if Buddy uses their alt mode or not. They just want a race. These bots will twin up with Buddy for speedy combos going up against fast villains or simply getting to a place faster. Will they admit that Buddy is faster than they are? Nope, and they will never do it until they finally beat Buddy in a race.
Bumblebee
