Makoto kept his eyes on the table as he sat at the cafe. The coffee smelled good, at least. He managed to gather up a little bit of money and he decided to get something to eat. He had enough to cover curry and coffee. It was raining outside, and he could only shut his eyes and enjoy the sound. Even with the TV on... It felt new. Even if he didn't really remember being dead...

The tv was talking about the Phantom Thieves. And it sounded... Well, kind of like a tv show and not reality. But sure enough, there were people debating it on TV. Reality sure had gotten strange. He turns to the girl sitting up at the counter. Her face was buried in a computer and she didn't seem like she had even noticed him sat in the booth by himself. He hated to talk to someone, but he had to ask.

"Hey..." He says quietly to the red head. "These Phantom Thieves... are they real?" Honestly, they both looked like they should be in school at this hour. But Makoto was not going to bother going when his time was limited and he didn't care if some other girl was ditching.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon

grimm has a tendency to get violent when he is properly angry, and depending on the situation, that can escalate very quickly. it rarely gets that far (unless we jump straight from calm to murder time), because he will make his displeasure known when something bothers him to such an extent, and is not at all shy about it. if the agitator persists, he will eventually get quiet. the kind of quiet where if you are paying any attention you know messed up and should probably stop whatever it is you are doing. the looks he gives might not kill but they sure scare most people in the receiving end; even those not particularly sensitive to supernatural things generally realize by then that this guy is dangerous.

at that point it will take someone he trusts and respects to talk him down from anything. there are a handful of individuals around who owe their life to a member of the troupe that decided to step in for some reason or another.

☆ - happy headcanon

ghost loves water and being in water. ideally still water, or a gentle current. diving takes some effort because they are somewhat buoyant, but when they can, they like to find some underwater crevice to settle into and just chill there for a while, enjoying the feeling of water surrounding them. while traversing hallownest, they like to stop at the hot springs not just to rest and recuperate, but also for this reason.

Clive is not a very picky eater. However, he is averse to eating things that look gross, as in unusual texture or color. He isn't overly adventurous with food. He spend much of his life eating awful food made only to sustain him so he could keep fighting for the empire, so quality food is amazing to him.
