traffic series vibes. i want to say mumbo and grian centric. there are unimaginable horrors hovering just at the edges (the life series concept, the watchers etc) but the characters know they cannot beat them so they're simply trying to care for each other as best they can while suppressing fear that the boogey curse will tear them apart. scenes taken across a broad timeline as things get worse and worse. could be last life compliant or canon divergent or just kind of putting them into a new survival game concept. uhhh oneshot 7k -kai

6. Are there any fics from others you reread all the time?

I've been bad at reading fics as of late, but I have a tendency to revisit my favorites. Occasionally I reread B1-6 (Daigo scripture) and Ghosts That We Knew also a really good minedai fic. The vibe........

8. What project(s) are you currently working on?

The Kirin Mine AU that's being chipped away at. The first chunk of stuff has a lot in it so it's taking awhile on top of not having a lot of time to write as of late. Been also yearning to figure out my roadblock in my Dead Souls fic too. I think those two have been the most active as of late.

10. Is there a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

In this case different as in unexpected. My fic, Connection, which I wrote under an hour and with the challenge of being capped to a true drabble length. It was just a spur of the moment writing thing but it seemed to click with people really well when I got a burst of kudos more than usual after posting. Neato. I outta try more restrictions with fics.

basically, i hc that although every single ls member can sew, but more complex stuff like pattern making (or doing anything that isn’t basic hand sewing for basic repairs LOL) varies wildly between each member. as a result, embroidery on clothing and patches would be a huge sign of dedication and loyalty because t shows that you took time out of your day to make something for the other person, and that usually means you’ll do other things for them as well ^_^ like. cool sign of loyalty that u can show off visually. so its fun to hc what alliances have what patches and who made them!!

anyways because i’m #biased i also hc that the more hearts and resources you have, the more time you have to dedicate to things that aren’t resources or getting hearts ^_^ so id imagine the brim of reds hat is full of embroidery from himself (and there’s a purple rose that’s noticeably out of style in comparison to the rest of the hat, but red doesnt draw much attention to it. usually)

3. How did your oc discover themself? Did something cause them to question, or did they always know?

Chloe: Definitely knew she wasn’t exactly a… man. She always felt more drawn to feminine things, like dresses and skirts. (Doesn’t wear them because well that’s not battle proof) Lesbianism came about when she realised she was a woman. Cishet man? No, lesbian trans woman 🗣️🔥🗣️🔥

Da’revas: Figured both his bisexuality and his gender identity in his teens. Definitely went to Merrill like “Hey i think i’m going to cut my hair” and she went “Okay here’s my knife lethallin :)” which was very gender affirming to him then he went like “use blood magic to remove my boobs”

Sigrid: Didn’t really have time figuring out her sexuality, too busy murdering people in the name of her Father. But when she started travelling after the whole.. lobotomy and tadpole thing— she realised she was extremely, EXTREMELY gay. Lesbianism lived after she saw Karlach, Shadowheart and Lae’zel covered in blood after a fight

6. How does your oc feel about labels? Theirs, or in general?

Chloe: She doesn’t personally care, for herself at least. She definitely respects anyone else’s but for hers it’s just.. “Well, I’m just Hawke. The only interesting thing about me is my lack of magic.”

Da’revas: Very proud of all his labels, definitely uses them with said pride as well. He’s proud of who he was and who he’s become, and will always be comfortable with how his labels are.

Sigrid: Hmm she’s definitely a tad more reserved about actually labeling herself. But she does enjoy the knowledge/label she has for herself; discovering her own identity being a pretty big point in her character arc after all

16. Did you ever change an oc's identity when they were already established? Why?

Hmm yeah I changed Da’revas’ sexuality to bi, first he was straight but it was just… well look at him (affectionately).

Chronos was originally not bi but gay, but that changed too. Other than that nope! chloe was perfect from day one <3

The VA really hits that quirky/upbeat sort of sound I imagine Ryoma to have. Also helps that they have similar personalities 💥 though I think Ryoma's voice would be a bit deeper.

Fun little fact! I don't believe I've said this anywhere? Ryoma is actually really good at singing (though they're self conscious of it) they used to be in choir and they're a big theater kid.
