hello hello!! thank you for the ask!! this was extremely fun.

1: what’s their love languages? / theo's is very much someone who's love language is gift giving. the kind of person who will see you eye up something in a store that for a moment, you consider buying but then decided against it and he'll end up buying it for you. theo's far too rich for his liking that he'd rather spend his money on other people than himself. but with eli it's very different, like yes, he'll get expensive rings and fancy clothes for social events, but theo will also buy him a lot of flower seeds for the garden as well as hand knit him jumpers and he's the only person who gets those from theo.

whereas eli has two. physical touch is just his general love language is physical touch. he always loves hugging people and will drape himself over the twins whenever he's bored and wants attention. with theo, eli is generally touching him in any way that he can, lots of hand holding, pressed up against theo's back where he'll either tuck his head in the crook of theo's neck or rest his chin on top of theo's head. eli will also just randomly run his hand through theo's hair because he's obsessed with his curls (there's also a reason as to why eli is more touchy with theo thanks to shit that happens in cursed bodies).

but on top of that, due to theo just never really having anyone in his life who actually loved him that eli also has words of affirmation as a love language with theo only.

7: who is the more romantic one? / oh gosh, i honestly don't know??? like, there's an answer in the back of my head but i can't further explain it without throw a massive plot point in your face. so instead, i'm just going to say eli even though i could also say theo. like because theo is someone who's had never been in a proper relationship before eli, that eli is very much determined to make sure that theo gets the best experience even if eli can be a little cliche.

8: do they have any favorite activities to do together? / they do!! because eli has a massive green thumb, they'll garden together, and by together i mean theo will just watch because he doesn't like getting his hands dirty, but he'll also keep darcy (theo's cat) distracted while eli works. sometimes they'll stargaze if theo is having a rough night and can't sleep, something i like to imagine ends with theo falling asleep as eli would just ramble to him.

and similar to gardening, eli will join theo whenever he goes book shopping for no other reason than he just really loves how theo completely lights up when surrounded by books. same can also be said with museums which has the added bonus of theo spouting out random facts he knows and eli listening to every word with a goofy lovestruck grin on his face.

truthfully, rafe hadn't been feeling well all day. he was hungover from last night, because you seemingly become a drain for alcohol, drinking endless amounts and only getting drunker and drunker. when you smile up at him and offer him another shot, he finds it hard to refuse.

"c'mon, rafe, stop being such a pussy and just take it with me. ugh," you yell over the music, shoving the drink into his hand. it's harder still to refuse after that.

so he wakes up hungover. you're up beside him, having slept in his bed at tannyhill like you always do after they have a party. the light's pouring into his bedroom, and you look like an angel, dressed in one of his old frat shirts.

"rise and shine," you chirp, stretching your arms and showing him a glimpse of pink panties that are making his head pound even more. "rafe? get up."

"shut up," he mumbles, turning around to look away from you before his dick gets hard. "get the curtains. m'head hurts."

"aww," you purr, getting closer to rafe, resting your head back on the pillow. you stroke rafe's hair for a second, hand hovering with hesitation before going back to do it again. it feels too intimate between friends, even friends like you and rafe.

he groans against his pillow, and you let your hand fall back.

when you make it back to tannyhill after breakfast—or rather lunch—rafe is still complaining about his headache.

"what i need is for you to stop yappin'. woke me up for this shit. those eggs sucked."

"mm. keep doin' that." he mumbles back, eyes shutting. you hold back a laugh, curling up to get more comfortable, bringing rafe's head into your lap.

you don't know when you fell asleep—just remember stretching your legs and getting pulled into rafe's warm grip. you're not even hungover, but it was hard to pull away when rafe had an arm across your stomach and the other inside your shirt—his shirt—with a hand on your back. rafe's head is now on your chest, nestled comfortably on your boobs. he's snoring, which means he's really tired.

you wake up to the sound of snickering. your eyes open for a second to take in kelce and top laughing, phone out and taking a picture of you and rafe.

"guys," you whisper, not wanting to wake up rafe. "don't laugh. he was hungover."

"so if i get hungover, i can feel you up too?"

"shut up," rafe mumbles against your chest. "fuck off. let us sleep." they shuffle away, still laughing.

"you know they're never gonna let this go, right?"

"don't care. you shut up too. m'sleeping. this is nice." you smile.

You guys I'm actually crying over chapter 204.5 (which is technically an ad for a certain company we're all boycotting btw) but ignoring the actual ad THE STORYLINE WAS SO??? GOOD???? the Natsu characterization in this was INCREDIBLE (be prepared for intense 100yq hatred) and it portrayed exactly why I fell in love with nalu in the first place....

Summary and analysis below (doesn't incl all the pages btw!!)

We start off with Lucy finding Natsu and Happy at her place, as always.

this is followed by him being like "do you think we'll peek or something" which... 100yq natsu would have... that IMPOSTER...

Anyways while she's taking a bath, Natsu and Happy are browsing around Lucy's room and find a book that stands out. (Btw right next to this book is her diary, 100yq natsu would've gone straight for that). However they end up accidentally destroying it and start panicking. They ask Lucy if they can "borrow it" and Lucy panics at first, saying it's precious and not to touch it, but relents when they say they found it "interesting".

fast forward, we see them worn out after trying and failing to find a replacement copy. ONCE AGAIN, they're doing this because it's something precious to LUCY. Not because they care about reading, or because the book has any value to them, but because they understand it's important to HER. Natsu (and Happy) going the extra mile for things that are important to Lucy is SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART of their entire dynamic.

continuing, Lucy walks into the guild and asks how they're finding the book, they say it's interesting. Lucy gets SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS and starts talking non stop ab the book. Happy asks her why this book is so important to her and...

So yeah, they ultimately decide that lying isn't it and they should apologize upfront.

this is so beautiful to me, idk like the imagery of them bowing so sincerely is so.... and like wow MASHIMA seems like natsu IS capable of acknowledging his own wrongdoings and offering genuine apologies. I'm not even talking ab the whole post tartaros situation no, I'm talking about fucking 100yq, where natsu actually physically hurts Lucy and doesn't apologize for it (AND IN FACT ITS PLAYED FOR A GAG)(IMPOSTER!!! OUCH. and the sheer guilt on Natsu and Happy's faces here 😭 Once again, 100yq would've played this off for a gag...

And they all start bawling (and the ad comes in so I will stop there) but YEAH. THIS WAS SO BEAUTIFUL??? The way she's regretful too, the way they're still trying to apologize and make her feel better I'm :(. This is what makes nalu work and it feels like mashima is forgetting that ab his own work... they're both genuinely good and kind to each other... like not to get sidetracked but there has always been goofy fanservice moments but there were also so many wonderful, emotional, complex scenes with them with depth and maturity and I just feel like that's lacking now. So reading this was like getting punched in the face srsly because wow... THIS is the natsu I know and love ugh .....

Shauna shrugged at Jackie's complaint. They're on the team with Lottie and have both experienced how mean the girl can get, sometimes for no reason at all.

Both of them turn to look at you. Then they look at eachother. Shauna sighs when Jackie scoffs.

"Oh please, you only say that because you're the only one she's never been mean to."

You tilt your head confusion written across your face. I mean, she hasn't been mean to you but surely there are other people in the school she treats with kindness. Oh right, what about...

"Natalie! She's her best friend, right? There's no way she's mean to her best friend."

It's Shauna that speaks up this time, a deadpan look in her face.

"Have you seen them interact? Like, at all?"

You frowned in though and opened your mouth to respond when the bell rung.

You arrived in class just a bit early, no one else was here yet. You picked your usual seat and started laying out your books for literature class when someone else walked in. You looked up to see no other than Lottie Matthews herself. She sits a few rows behind you but this time she doesn't go to her usual seat. She seems almost nervous when she approaches you.

"Hey, uh, can I sit next to you?"

You look around the empty class room and wonder why she wants to sit next to you when her usual seat is available. It's probably because these seats are closer to the board or something.

"Oh yeah, sure."

A few minutes passed and you noticed Lottie was acting different. She seemed to be pondering something. You were about to ask her if something's wrong when Jeff and Randy ran into the classroom, hitting eachother and laughing. They didn't seem to notice that Lottie was sitting next to you because they ran straight into her bag knocking some of her things on the floor.

"What the fuck, are you two idiots brain dead?! Can't you fucking see?!"

Jeff and Randy stood there frozen. You sighed and got up to help Lottie gather her things. Lottie was still yelling at the two boys but when she noticed you were about to get up she put her hand in yours.

"It's okay Y/N I'll get them. You don't need to get up." She smiled sweetly at you. Jeff and Randy looked between eachother, just like Shauna and Jackie did a few minutes ago, but you were only looking at Lottie. She's so pretty.

You're snapped out of your thoughts when you hear a laugh from the door. You and Lottie look up to see Van, who's still giggling, and Tai whose eyes have rolled back all the way back to her brain. Lottie seemed to be signalling something to Van with her eyes. The ginger raised her hands in defense and walked towards her seat.

You giggled alongside the rest of your group who was laughing at Lottie's flushed and embarrassed face.

"She was so damn obvious, like I can't believe you didn't get it earlier."

You rolled your eyes half heartedly at Nat.

"It wasn't that bad. She was just a bit romantic with me."

Tai looked at you with her ' seriously? You're playing dumb? ' face.

"She was cussing at everyone like a sailor just for existing but when it came to you she was all like ' oh Y/N you don't have to ' ' hey Y/N, how's your day been? '." Taissa said in a mocking, high pitched tone.

The group went back to laughing hysterically while Lottie tried to defend herself.

Laurent strolled up to the impasse, threw himself down on the log next to Damen, and in an expressionless voice launched into the story of the brothel adventure that had earned him the blue dress, which was so unabashedly filthy it made Lazar blush, and so funny it had Pallas wiping his eyes. (...) i just got super emotional bc remember when in the beginning of book 2, damen told laurent he needed to bond with his men in a way that wasn't just manipulation and laurent said he didn't have time for that? i love that it's happening now, and has of course been happening for a while, but that laurent is coming more out of his shell and actually enjoying himself now and then.

Spencer cooking and reader always being his taste tester. So he’ll call her over and he will put a spoonful of idk like pasta or something into her mouth. Idk I just think it would be cute for Spencer to feed the reader like that. And the setting with the low lights in the kitchen and the way he looks in his apron that you gifted him (that was kinda a joke but reader said he looks hot in it so he wears it all the time). Same with him feeding their kid when they are still in a high chair and he has to sing to them or make them giggle to get them to eat the nasty baby food. He’ll even eat it himself in front of them and be like “yummmmyy” (like they understand that oh if daddy is eating it then it must be safe)

this was such a beautiful episode, most things felt resolved and it was just SO GOOD

if you didn't see my previous posts, i was up at 2am to watch this episode due to timezones, and it was so so worth it. let's begin!!!!!

oh the character development is amazing, this versus how lost he was at the beginning of season two is just so interesting and amazing to see. i'm so so proud.

full honesty, i have a lot of trouble emotion-wise, and hearing this kinda caught me off guard because, as much as i'd like to ignore it, springy's never been anything more than a villain to me.

it helped me realise that, yeah, springy is another character like everyone else, and they have feelings, and they have capacity for goodness. it really got me thinking, especially since this line really had me relating to them. but ah well, onwards!!!!

seeing cabby get pissed was really funny, but also she's turning the broken insult walkie talkie presented to mephone in the last episode. it was very very cool, a reclamation of power really.

also this was such a pivotal moment for her, and as someone who apologises for literally anything people deem wrong, this was incredibly inspirational and soooo cool to see.
