Why did you choose your URL?

Once upon a time, a very long time ago now, I discovered role-playing in a furry community back when I had not even a concept of what ‘furry’ meant. I ran a role-playing guild there for a while, based on FFVIII, and at one point I ran a contest to name the world. My own submission was: K’tarianen - which did not win the votes. Since it wasn’t going to be used there, I’ve since used various forms of it for my online nicknames, or sometimes character names.

How long have you been on tumblr?

One of my first posts on this blog was actually the Pattern Hoarder Tutorial, which was made in Jan. 2017. So... about five and a half years now? I actually do have a personal tumblr that I almost never look at anymore, which was created at least five years before that.

Do you have a queue tag?

I do not. Nearly everything I post runs through my queue or is scheduled though.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I started it in order to post the Pattern Hoarder Tutorial in a place where it could be seen and would not soon disappear or be lost. Patterns used to be the only CC I actually used, and I hadn’t found a tutorial for multi-layer (or multi-color channel) patterns, so I wanted to share what I’d figured out with everyone else.

These days I consider that I ought to turn it into PDF’s so that it could be easily uploaded anywhere. Perhaps someday I’ll make time for that.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

My icon is a crop of a photo of my simself. Perhaps someday I’ll change it, but I’m fairly satisfied with it.

Why did you choose your header?

Uh. I don’t think I have a header.. do I? *goes to look* OH. I do. LMAO. It’s the music room of the Olijar mansion which I spent far too much time on and was extremely pleased with when I had finished. They’re supposed to be the main family in my main save, but I think so far they’ve actually had less ‘screen time’ than some of the other households.

What’s your post with the most notes?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, a tips post I made forever ago with things I find very valuable knowledge in-game.

How many mutuals do you have?

I have... not the faintest idea, honestly. I did a google search to figure out how to find that out, but met only with more confusion. 

How many followers do you have?

Looks like the current count is 880, for whatever that’s worth. As a note, I don’t really keep track, nor do I check to see if people unfollow me, nor do I spend time to try to block people who might be inactive, bots, etc.

How many people do you follow?

458 currently. I feel like this number used to be higher, but probably some blogs were lost to Tumblr’s shenanigans, and some people deleted their blogs. I follow almost exclusively blogs who post TS3 content, as it’s the only game in the series I’ve yet played, but I do follow a few TS2 blogs. I’m also pretty picky in that I require posts to be properly tagged, for there not to be too many of them all the time, and usually for there to not be too many CC reblogs. I follow most creators directly, and a few CCfinds blogs in case I miss things, and don’t like to constantly see the same thing over and over again on my dash. Which I actually do keep up with most of the time.

Have you ever made a shitpost?

Uh. I think someone would have to define for me what a shitpost is before I could answer this question. xD I have heard the term a lot, but don’t actually know what it means, precisely. (When you use sarcasm to call something out?)

How often do you use tumblr every day?

Typically, every day. Though some days get skipped if I am too busy. And a few times, several months were skipped due to life taking over.

Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? who won?

I try to keep any disagreements I might have with other members of the sims 3 fandom on tumblr to private disagreements. Publicly posted arguments tend to blow up far too quickly and can result in unwanted consequences.

How do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ posts?

Emotional manipulation has long been a tactic to get people to spread things they’d otherwise ignore. It doesn’t really work on me. I’ll reblog it if I feel the message is worth sharing, and appropriate to my blog, or important enough to be shared here regardless of what it’s about.

Do you like tag games?

I think tag games are kinda fun, I just rarely find the time to participate in them. ^-^;;

Do you like ask memes?

Since most of my gameplay is strictly gameplay without any well defined stories to accompany them, I usually don’t have much to say for ask memes. Sometimes they’re fun! Sometimes I just have no clue what I’d say.

Which of your mutuals do you think is tumblr famous?

Since, to my surprise, a lot of the creators I follow actually also follow me, I’d say there’s quite a few, so I won’t bother name-dropping.

Do you have a crush on a mutual?

I’m long past the age of crushes. xD They’re also very rare for me.

A Crazy Day at Miku Expo

A Vocaloid shitpost story

Chapter 1

It was a normal day in the Cryptonloid household, like always. It was 12pm and Meiko was already up because she’s a normal person.

“GET UP YOU IDIOTS WE HAVE TO LEAVE FOR MIKU EXPOOO!!!!” she woke the rest of the Cryptonloids up as she was a thoughtful person.

“OH SHIT I FORGOT!!” Miku screamed. Her hair looked like Chuckie Finster from Rugrats but had a much larger mass.

“WAIT WHAT THE FUCK WE’RE PERFORMING TONIGHT?!!? PLS NOOOOO I HAVE A PIMPLE!!!” Len cried.

Miraculously, all of them had somehow forgotten that they had a Miku Expo concert in the mystical country of Hajarputa that night. Except for Meiko, because she was a responsible person.

Once they were done packing and getting ready, they went into their private Miku jet which was covered with Miku faces and had big words that said “HATSUNE MIKU” because Miku is the best and owns the world.

Inside, ‘World is Mine’ was playing on loop and the wall was covered in Miku wallpaper and posters. Meiko sat on a Miku couch at the front, because Meiko is queen and is obviously the sexiest one. Kaito, being the simp that he is, sat next to her.

Luka went all the way to the back of the Miku jet and sat in a Miku chair in the corner, away from everyone else as she was tired of everyone’s bullshit.

Miku and the demonic twins were in the middle, just jumping around and throwing shit everywhere as they were still high as fUCK from the FRUIT loops they ate for breakfast.

Suddenly, ‘World is Mine’ stopped playing, and the pilot made an announcement through the plane intercom. Or whatever it’s called lmao I don’t know.

“Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome onboard Flight Miku. We will be taking off from Sapporo to Hajarputa. I am Sonic the Hedgehog and I am your pilot for today. Just kidding bitch, my name is actually うんち(‘Jonathan Harris’ in Japanese). We are expected to reach Hajarputa in about 22 hours. I swear to God, PLEASE put on your seatbelts or you’re gonna fucking die. We also ask that you ensure your seats are in the upright position for take-off, if not you’ll fucking die. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, if not you’ll fucking die as well. Don’t smoke too, cause you’ll get lung cancer and fucking die. Thank you for choosing Miku Airlines. Enjoy your flight. I definitely will not crash this plane. I swear.”

'World is Mine’ was back playing on loop again.

“Well that was comforting,” Meiko said, being a sarcastic piece of shit.

“Lol what? I don’t remember hiring this man,” Miku said. “Lol, whatever,” she shrugged.

Some time after the Miku Jet took off, Kaito and Meiko started fighting over what they would name their non-existent kid that they would never have.

“If she’s a girl, Sakura is the best name!! It represents beauty and optimism,” Kaito said.

“It also represents death,” Meiko argued. “And who the fuck names their kid after a plant? Enaado is the best name!!”

“The fuck kinda name is Enaado?” Len, who was seated far away from them, muttered to himself. Meiko, who was somehow able to hear him, pulled a super soaker gun out of nowhere and squirted him all the way from the other end of the plane.

Some hours later, the vocaloids were bored as heck and ‘World is Mine’ playing on loop was driving them to insanity(except for Miku of course).

“Can you turn that shit off, Miku? I swear to God, if I hear “sekai de ichiban ohime-sama” one more damn time, my internal organs are going to explode,” Luka said, smashing her head against the wall.

“Geez, fine, Luka! You don’t have to be so mean about it, it’s not my fault you don’t know how to appreciate good art,” Miku rolled her eyes, then she changed the song to ‘Popipo’ on loop, which was probably 100x worse.

“YOU’RE my sekai de ichiban ohime-sama, Me-chan~<3” Kaito UwU-ed. She smacked him with a magazine.

Another time skip, Miku wanted to play truth or dare lmao. Luka, Miku and the twins sat in a circle and started playing.

“Oh yeah, by the way, Mei-nee and Kai-nii are in the game too,” Miku said.

“Wtf no thanks,” Meiko immediately said, not looking up from her magazine about self control & anger management.

“No, you can’t escape, Mei-nee,” Miku replied, staring intensely into her soul. She then got a piece of rope out of nowhere and tied Meiko and Kaito to their chairs.

“TRUTH OR DARE, MEI-NEE?” Miku asked, her eye twitching.

“Ugh, fine. Truth,” Meiko replied, as she had no other choice.

Meanwhile, Kaito was having Vietnam war flashbacks as Miku tying him to the chair reminded him of that one time he got kidnapped by Sonic the Hedgehog. (An event that happened in my other fanfic that I’m not going to post.)

“Do you want to make out with Kai-nii?” Miku asked with a stupid shitty grin on her face.

“What the fuck? Oh, HELL NO. I think I already know how this is gonna go,” Meiko muttered.

“AnSwEr tHe qUeStiOn!!!” Miku yelled impatiently, flipping the fucking table.

“Dare!” Meiko quickly said, sweating.

“I dare you to make out with Kai-nii,” Miku said, raising her eyebrows up and down like fucking Mr. Bean.

Upon hearing this, Kaito’s attention was caught and he snapped out of his Vietnam war flashbacks.

“GODDAMN IT!!” Meiko cursed.

“Oh my GOD, Kaito. Don’t give me THAT look,” Meiko said, terrified for her life as she noticed Kaito looking at her with considerable interest.

“Why the hell did you give that dare, Miku? Literally NO ONE wants to see that shit,” Len said, staring judgingly at Miku. He definitely did not have to see his parents smashing their faces together.

“Yeah, Len’s right,” Luka said. “Aight, Imma head out. Bye bitches,” she flipped her fabulous long hair and strolled out elegantly. Once she reached her seat at the far corner of the plane, she opened her laptop and looked at images of the Gingerbread Man from Shrek.

“Shut up Len and just watch the show!” Rin, who was just as delusional as Miku, scolded.

“MEIKOUT MEIKOUT MEIKOUT MEIKOUT MEIKOUT” the crazy girls started chanting.

It was nighttime and the Cryptonloids were sleeping in their beds with Miku blankets and ‘Popipo’ was still playing on loop. Suddenly, the Miku Jet started shaking really hard, then everyone flew out of their beds and hit their heads on the ceiling. After a few seconds, the Miku Jet stopped shaking and everyone fell back to the ground.

“Heh heh, sorry folks. Just a little air turbulence is all,” Pilot うんち announced.

“What the actual FUCK?? “A ‘liTtLE’ aIR tUrBuLeNcE” he said!! I don’t think we should be entrusting that guy with our LIVES!!” Meiko seethed. “I’m going to have a word with him.” she stormed off to the Pilot’s cabin.

“Wait Me-chan, I’ll come too,” Kaito said, and tagged along with her for extra support because he was a good boyfriend.

Once they reached the Pilot’s cabin, she slid open the door and shouted “LISTEN UP, MISTER, DO YOUR DAMN JOB PROPERLY!!”

“Oh, Meiko-san, hello!” the pilot spun his chair around and smiled. “Oh, Kaito, you’re here too! How’s it going, buddy? Has Sonic been bothering you any more?”

Meiko and Kaito’s eyes widened as they realised who the pilot was.

“FUKASE??!!!!” they screamed in shock. His Ronald Mcdonald hair was unmistakable.

“No, I’m うんち. Who the hell is Fukase?” うんち/Fukase said.

“WHY ARE YOU FLYING A PLANE, FUKASE??!! AREN’T YOU LIKE, FOURTEEN?!??!!!” Meiko screamed.

“Uh, no, I’m fifteen. Also, the age of consent in Japan is thirteen, sooo I don’t see any problem with it,” he replied.

“WHAT THE HELL DOES AGE OF CONSENT HAVE TO DO WITH FLYING A PLANE???!!” Meiko screamed, ripping her hair out. I really need to stop using scream.

"Umm… with all due respect, Fukase, are you even qualified for this?” Kaito spoke up.

“Yeah, DUH. I’ve had years worth of flight experience from Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Xbox!” he replied. “What kinda dumb shit would hire someone who ISN’T qualified??”

“oH mAN OH GOD OUR LIVES ARE IN THE HANDS OF THAT DUMB KID OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD-“ Meiko was hyperventilating in the corner and hugging her legs, sweat pouring down her face. It was unlike her to freak out like this, she was usually calm and kept her cool. However, this is Fukase we’re talking about, and any rational person would be freaking out and fearing for their lives.

“Breathe, Me-chan, breathe,” Kaito attempted to calm her down. “Don’t worry, okay? Everything’s gonna be just fine. Nothing bad will happen. Everything is okay,” he assured her, hugging her tightly.

“How would YOU know that???” she asked.

“I don’t,” he replied. “When things get rough, denial is all we have,” he said, giving his Stupid Bakaito Grin™.

It starts off relatively normal for two college students paired up for a project.

Remy Morpheus gets paired with Logan Berry, and he couldn’t be more ecstatic. The two have a few mutual friends, so Remy knows - Logan gets the job done, whatever it takes. Remy knows that, despite his insistence that a regular sleep schedule is vital, Logan rarely sleeps. Remy knows that Logan is basically a vampire.

Logan Berry gets paired with Remy Morpheus, and he couldn’t be more miserable. The two have a few mutual friends, so Logan knows - Remy slacks off as much as possible. Logan knows that, despite his addiction to coffee, Remy sleeps for at least ten hours a night. Logan knows that Remy thinks he’s basically a vampire. Logan also knows that, for once in his life, Remy happens to be right.

“Okay, so I think we should make a powerpoint, and - Why are you staring at me?” Logan looks up from his notebook to see Remy’s eyes peering over his second cup of coffee.

“Oh, nothing, you just look a lot more vampiric in person,” Remy shrugs.

“I’m surprised you even know that word,” Logan mutters, sipping his own coffee. He smirks when Remy makes an offended noise.

“I’d knock your coffee over if it wouldn’t pain me so much to do so,” threatens Remy.

“If you want me to function properly, you’d let me keep my coffee.”

“Thought you functioned on drinking the blood of the innocent?” Remy teases, earning a swift kick to the shin. Logan refocuses himself at the task at hand, signaling Remy to join him.

The pair stays at the cafe for quite a few hours, enough for the sun to go down and for the owners to politely kick them out. They’re walking back to their respective dorms, laughing and chatting when Remy smirks. “So, you made us stay there until it got dark because vampires like you can’t go out into the sunlight?”

“I’m not sure if you noticed, considering you're one of the most oblivious people I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting,” Logan starts, earning a slap on the arm from his offended classmate. He continues, “But I did make it to our destination in the sunlight. Also, you’ve been watching too much Twilight.”

“You’re just mad that Edward Cullen is way hotter than you.”

“Absolutely not, you heathen.”

“Jacob is hotter too,” Remy says, teeth chattering. Logan rolls his eyes and shrugs off his jacket, handing it to his companion.

At Remy’s bewildered look, Logan explains, “You need it a lot more than me, and I’ll be fine.”

Remy hesitantly takes the jacket, brushing his hand against Logan’s. “My god, Logan, your hand is… pale white and ice cold.”

“Was that another damn Twilight reference?”

“Maybe.”

“You’re insufferable.”

“And your eyes change color, and sometimes you speak like - like you're from a different time. You never eat or drink anything. You don't go out in the sunlight. ... How old are you?”

Logan pauses their walking and fixes Remy with a glare. “I’m not finishing your quote, Remy.” He begins walking again, then pauses and looks back with confusion. “And why do you have that quote memorized?”

“In case the opportunity arises to make fun of your vampiric tendencies,” Remy shrugs. He pouts, “Pretty please finish the quote for me?”

“Remy.”

“Logan.”

“I will never, ever, finish that quote.”

“I’ll buy your coffee for the rest of our project meetings?”

“ Fine ,” Logan sighs. He gives Remy one last pleading look, and when Remy motions for him to speak, the vampire finally gives in. Mumbling, he says, “Twenty.”

Beaming, Remy replies, “How long have you been twenty?”

“Do I have to?”

“Yes.”

“A...A while.”

“I know what you are,” Remy moves towards Logan, a mischievous glint in his eye.

“That’s enough, Remy.” Logan pushes the taller student away from him, suddenly very nervous. He’s hoping he’s able to keep himself from being revealed this time, thank you very much.

“Damn, babes, why so defensive?” Remy asks, stumbling from the shove and holding his hands up in surrender. He grins, “Unless…”

“Remy, stop it.”

“It makes sense, you know.”

“Not now, Rem.”

“Your allergy to garlic.”

“Remy.”

“Your lack of sleep.”

“Remy Morpheus.”

“Your freezing cold body temperature.”

“Remy, that’s enough!”

If Logan’s booming voice wasn’t enough to shut Remy up, the shorter student pressing him up against a brick wall with fire in his eyes sure does the trick. Remy swallows hard, and he is quickly reminded of how damn gay he is. “It, um… it explains your - your, uh… your strength, too.”

Logan shoves him harder and Remy winces - the rough brick digging into his back through Logan’s jacket is unpleasant, to say the least. “Sorry, sorry!” Remy whimpers.

That seems to break Logan out of his haze, hands releasing from Remy’s jacket lapels. He backs up and shakes his head, as if clearing all thoughts from his mind. His breath is laboured as he says, “God, Remy, I- I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to… hurt you.”

Remy pushes himself off of the wall and fixes his jacket. He mumbles a quick, “‘m fine,” before pushing past Logan.

Not wanting Remy to leave, surprising even himself with that revelation, Logan calls after him, “Say it.”

Successful to Logan’s plan, Remy stops in his tracks and turns around. “Excuse me?”

“Out loud. Say it.”

At Remy’s shocked smile, Logan finds himself free of regret -  approximately the opposite of how he thought he would feel. Remy continues the quote, “Vampire.”

Logan takes a step towards Remy, lowering his voice. “Are you afraid?”

Remy closes the distance between the two, laughing fondly, “Now who’s watching too much Twilight?”

“Still you.” Logan chuckles gently. “Answer me - are you afraid?”

“No.” Remy leans his head down, touching his forehead to Logan’s chilled skin.

“Then ask me the most basic question: what do we eat?” Logan moves his head down to Remy’s neck, grazing his teeth - no, fangs, Remy reminds himself - against his soft skin.

Remy shivers, once again glad that Logan lent him his jacket (of which he was absolutely planning on stealing). “You won’t hurt me.”

“No, I won’t,” Logan breathes against Remy’s neck. “I would never hurt you.”

“Okay,” Remy nods, jostling Logan’s place. He tilts Logan’s head up, looking him in the eyes. “One question, though.”

“Go ahead.”

“Do you actually sparkle in the sunlight?”

Logan scoffs and pushes himself off of Remy, walking away and shaking his head fondly. “No,” He calls behind him. “It’s more of a bad sunburn.”

“Boring.” Remy skips up to him, and they continue walking to their dorms. Remy, as stealthily as he can, slips his hand into Logan’s. Logan pretends not to notice. When Remy goes to remove his hand, though, Logan gives him a reassuring squeeze. “And is that why you denounce Christianity? Because of crosses, and holy water? What happens if you get splashed?”

“Precisely. It’s much easier to excuse my aversion to the religion on science than the true reasons. As for being splashed, I’d get really bad burns, reminiscent of chemical burns.”

“And you really can’t have garlic? So no italian food?”

“I can, but that comes with burns as well.”

“Your food must taste horrible.”

“You forget what I eat, Remy.”

“Oh! So no italian chefs, then?”

“Remy, shut up.”

“It was just a question!”

“... No italian chefs.”

Traitors, Failures and Moon-slayers by Themanofmanyhats. The premise is that Zhao actually takes Zuko’s hand, and they all end up on that raft. Can’t get much more absurd than Zhao willingly taking Zuko’s hand.

Freudian Slip by naggeluide. The fic summary’s better than any summary I could make, since I might end up spoiling something. Fic summary: Zuko has one. The Gaang reacts.

The Adventures of Mini Zuko by @younggayanddoingokay. If you aren’t tall, be prepared to feel the short experience so hard you get second-hand pain. Be prepared to want to immediately stab and take the kneecaps of (almost) every single character at once. Perfection, Zuko is amazing and shorter, and it has the Zuko and animals trope. What more could you want? (Also part 7 is just... top notch humor.)

Firelord Zuko’s Unfortunate Misadventures by Trying_For_Sunshine. Zuko’s just hanging around and trying to have a good time in the palace. The staff isn’t used to this.

Quiet Like A Fire by WhatWouldJackSparrowDo. Not actually haha funny… idk. But it has an interesting premise. I put in in the random folder because... uh. Anyway, premise goes: Zuko accidentally murder during Day of the Black Sun. (Oh right, that’s probably why I put it there, it vibes that way despite being serious.)

Different Worlds, Different Outcomes by LeDiz. Not haha funny either, just an interesting insight on Zuko’s role in the story, as seen through the eyes of the Gaang and the various spirit shenanigan things that lead to them interacting with various AUs.

We’ll Meet Again, Some Sunny Day by redrobin1989. A desperate Iroh in Ba Sing Se consults the Gaang to find his nephew. Along the way, he uncles.

The Five People You Meet in Hell by JustGettingBy. A 5+1 about Zuko and customer service. There’s also character development along the way.

I haven’t been feeling the greatest emotionally which is why this might turn into a rant—but I just want to use my emotional energy for something good and that’s saying thank you! This is the first time a community has shown so much interest in my work and supporting it and I really, really can’t say how much I appreciate you all. I wouldn't give myself a name or a catchphrase out of embarrassment and being too self conscious but I would probably be able to light myself on fire real good.

OH MAN DO I I HAVE SO MANY. How about Val. Val, the wonderful ex-lich who can throw great swords and shoots lasers, who dotes after her archmage boyfriend and his tiny horribly destructive daughter. Val who has the maturity of a 12 year old despite being 400 and is really bad about that whole friend thing.
