okay. OKAY. ok. um. exposing my lore. also SORRY i rarely use color these days bc ive never had a good grasp on it so it’s just. very rough ideas here. a concept if u will.

anyway lore under the cut bc it’s long and all over the place and i do not expect anyone to have the patience LOL but it will be here. for ME. 😌

FOR THE RECORD before there was really an english twst fandom anywhere, i just had my friend in discord as we dove into translations off of youtube early on. these characters kinda were born from discord ramblings and goofy inside joke doodling BUT now im going. to share or whatever. i mentioned these two here but ill probs cover all that again here as i will try to be thorough!!!

anyway i have to give backstory in like 2 sections first. these guys [if u dont care then skip to the bullets for the actual character lore/story summaries], their main purpose for existence is CATERELLA soap opera drama. WHAT is caterella you might ask??? some people in the fanbase either headcanon or theorize or au-ify cater as being in a cinderella storyline bc he’s got the 2 pushy older sisters and kind of a more solemn side he hides while trying to be all upbeat around others yadda yadda. i thought that was FUN. i have. so many different branches of caterella aus/concepts involving other potential cater ships lol, but this is the only oc route. i have a really big web of all those potential ideas but it’s VERY erratic and would be a monster of a thing to show anyone. also it’s embarrassing LOL so it stays in discord. for now.

ANYWAY. first we have CHAR (left). He’s very loosely based off prince charming from cinderella. a friendly guy, in line for the throne or whatever, and I think a third year at RSA. He’s long lost childhood friends with CATER from when they were like, five years old or something, but lost contact when cater had to move away because of his dad’s work.

Canonically, Cater has said he’s had to move around every two years or so because of his dad’s job (i think he’s a banker or something? i dont remember exactly tho). Because of this, cater’s mentioned a lot that he’s not really had childhood friends that he grew up with, like how trey, riddle, and chenya have each other.

a while ago on twitter (or pixiv? idr) when i was scrounging for fanart, I came across fanart of cater and some RSA guy smiling and waving to him, and cater looked kinda like, surprised and startled?

now this was like a Year Ago and I can’t remember how much of it was in the image vs how much came from my inference vs how much i came up with later on my own -  according to my discord rambles, adeuce were in that pic in the background going :0, and it looked like they were in town shopping or something and had run into this guy. i feel like i either got the impression from the post that cater knew the guy and he was recognizing and happy to see cater, and cater was either like “uhh who r u” or “oh, uh, nice to see you too what a surprise??” and i was like oooo maybe hes a childhood friend. idr if the post or his design specified he was prince charming or if i did that myself to fit caterella better. i do not remember what the guy looked like in the post lol.

ANYWAY  from there i pretty much took off running with the concept of cater having a childhood friend that had a crush on him and then was all sad when he moved away, only to run into him year’s later on sage’s island when he was in town shopping and cater was out with ace and deuce.

OKAY moving on FOR NOW to. lol. Dañarte. like i mentioned in the other post, that very much Is Not A Name and was kind of just a joke at first bc of my typo getting autocorrected.

sorry it’s BLURRY anyway he spawned into existance a few months later when i was trying to say fanart and autocorrect said Dañarte. which is just spanish for harm you. this was maybe while i was tyring to think of a name for char, my friend said it sounded like a fancy prince name, i looked up the meaning, my friend was like oh god it’s a threat, i remembered hans from frozen existed, and then that catrella line grew more branches. he eventually ended up in the role of char’s cousin and a second year[we’ll come back to that]. since hans had that whole thing of i think he was like one of 7 brothers or something he was all huffy about not having a place to rule of his own or whatever?? i was like hmm maybe he’s all jealous that his cousin’s in line for whatever throne they’re a royal family for 🤔 which flkjdslf yeah kinda ended up sounding like leona LOL dont worry about it that’s not the POINT the point is SOAP OPERA ROMANCE DRAMA!!!!

anyway. god this is already so much and i’ve barely gotten into it LOL UM... according to discord here’s a rundown of what my initial thoughts with char were:

rsa and nrc are having a mixer party thingy [hosted at RSA] and cater’s talking about how GRAMMABLE it’ll be and that he wants to find a fun outfit

he jokes(?) “oh maybe i’ll finally find my prince charming there lol~ since no one here appreciates caycay’s charm 😔”

riddle’s like 😒yea yea cater please pull your head out of the clouds and take the first years to town so you guys can do the shopping for the next unbirthday party

big brother caycay takes adeuce and probably other npcs off to do the shopping list stuff

MEANWHILE!!! at RSA, Char is hanging out with BESTIE CHENYA and talking about the mixer with nrc. chenya mentions he’s got some friends at NRC and pulls up magicam to show char some IMAGES- specifically he goes to CATER’S magicam bc riddle didnt really use magicam except that one time he made an acct to help cater study [ft in riddle’s dorm uniform story ❤] and idk trey probs doesnt post much besides maybe baking pics, dont worry about it, the important thing is that he pulls up a selfie caycay took with the heartslabyul family

[chenya voice] those are my childhood besties, trey and riddle, those are their funny little sons ace and deuce, and that one in the middle is cater, he’s fun too-

[char voice]  !!! the one with orange hair you said is cater? not cater diamond, is it????

chenya goes back to the main profile page and is like ya it says his last name’s diamond

char’s all 😳 and tells chenya he knows cater, because the two of them were childhood friends!! and wonders if he’ll see cater at the mixer....

chenya goes “oooo or we could go see him right now nyahahaha” bc BOOM cater JUST posted a selfie 15 seconds ago with his adeuce sons out shopping in town!!!!

they zoom to town, chenya jumpscares his pals bc it’s the law 😌 and then char comes up to cater and is like “it’s been so long cater!!! do you remember me??” and caters like 🤔 who’s this pretty boy talking to me 🤔

said pretty boy’s like “I’m char!!! we used to play together all the time when we were little!!! but then you had to move away 🥺“ and cater’s like “....hmmm.... i do that a lot- OH!!!!! I remember now!!! wow, let’s take a reunion selfie 🤗” and they do, it’s cute.

char’s like “haha glad you remember! we were each other’s first kiss after all 😌” and caters like UM 😳 and adeuce are watching like 😯😯 and chenyas 👀

and it’s just something goofy, char’s like “yea we were like five and we had a wedding on the playground and you kissed me 😊 and then we promised to get married for real when we were old enough hahaha” [<- partially inspired by my mother telling me when i was like 2 i ‘married’ my bestie on the playground. i have no memory of this but jklsdfsd ANYWAY]

cater’s all “ahahaaaa omg that’s sooo embarrassing i cant believe you remember that!!!” and char says something like “oh yea of course I do! i had like the biggest crush on you back then and i was soooo sad when you moved away forever 🥺” and caters like oh, ummmmm 👍

still they exchange magicams/numbers/whatever and go about their business with adeuce pestering cater for the rest of the trip like the nosy little brothers they are

fast forward to heartslabyul returning to the dorm and ace [like in the doodle up there ^ lol] LOUDLY barges in shouting something like “CATER HAS A BOOOOOOOOOOYYYYFRIIIIEEEEEEENDDDDDDDD!!!!!!” and cater’s all flustered and swatting at him like ace!!! no!!!! 😤😤

riddle n trey are just ?????? confused

cater’s just like “we just ran into an old friend of mine who goes to RSA now, and he asked me to be his date to the mixer, that’s all!!!!”

juice is just like “👀diamond senpai is this the Prince Charming™ you were talking about 👀” and caters like “🤔 i was totes kidding before but this totally does feel like something ROMANTIC out of a fairytale doesn’t it? haha how fun~”

POTENTIAL AU ALTERNATE BRANCH: for some maybe light angst, a potential trey route, trey’s either quietly listening like oh.... 💔💔💔 bc secretly HE had wanted to ask cater to be his date to the mixer. OR maybe he’s feeling some sadness but isnt sure why, talks to riddle alone later about it and is all “idk what it is with me, i guess i just assumed cater would be with us at the event like the three of us usually are, but i guess... he will be busy if he has a date....” and riddle has NO romance experience in his LIFE so hes just like “hmm yes i suppose it will be different to be at an event without cater constantly at our sides, but i am sure he will still hunt us down for his ‘memories’ to take pictures of, like always 😌“ and they just kinda laugh it off for the time being. but then cater’s texting this boy more and trey’s getting increasingly more restless and coming to terms w/the fact that hes PINING after his BESTIE!!! it’s ok in this branch they would be endgame sorry char

i also had a side note of other alternative branches for vil and malleus being the endgame, like aduece gossip about cater to the first year group and somehow it makes it back to them via epel or sebek. tho vil doesnt get the full story at first and just hears some pretty rsa guy asked cater out  to the mixer and hes like “was it neige 😠😒” but anyway this aint about these guys those are just. some of many caterella alts. not even all the alts are char related LOL anyway

so that’s as far as I had for that specific concept before Dañarte spawned.  heres another doodle of them

Dañarte starts as an RSA guy but eventually will change to NRC, mirroring how hans was like ‘ooo im a nice charming prince u can trust me’ and then went all jk im a villain bye

cousin to char, second year, they more or less maybe grew up together but Dañarte never met cater or if he did it wasnt often so they wouldnt remember or know each other

Dañarte  and cater meet either at the aforementioned mixer or just at RSA if cater’s over there hanging out with Char and catching up

Dañarte is all charming and sparkly like most RSA students so he and Cater hit it off real fast 😉✨ and Char’s like, oh, uhhh, ok 😅??

cater either doesnt know Char’s interested in him again or he’s just not sure what to make of it, Dañarte does know Char’s into Cater and deliberately steals him away bc he resents his cousin. petty teenager drama lol

so ya potential route, Dañarte ends up dating cater for a while. but then [VAGUE SITUATIONS] occur and they have relationship problems and break up, leaving caycay HEARTBROKEN

WHICH!! could lead to more au branching LOL for who potentially is the one to try and heal caycay’s heart, mainly either Char, Trey, or.... SURPRISE, IDIA!!! (also i guess i mentioned vil and malleus earlier lol, all these au ideas came over the course of many months so i tended to forget details 😌)

i hear you going “what? huh?? when did idia get here!???!?!?!” shh. shhh. this post required me, forced my hand even, to ramble about all my aus/unposted fanfiction lol. i do have some mini fanfiction about the idia route that never left discord bc it’s so au specific hehehe but anyway, idia right?

ok taking a break from bullets while we detour here. so back when i was looking for names for char, i found another name meaning charming: eppa! it was cute 😌 this part spawned from more discord glitching and my friend’s idea from there- that eppa is just a fake name that IDIA is using to talk to cater on magicam or whatever bc he’s shy and hiding behind a fake prince charming [prince eppa of rsa!!] persona. this could just be a branch on its own w/o those dudes up there^ OR as I mentioned, he could be an alternative person for caycay to end up with after getting his heart broken. I wrote a little bit of unpublished fic and have a few doodles that follow this storyline lol, but we’ll get back to that later maybe.

ok but basically things could end there OR another bonus for MORE soap opera drama: for whatever reason that i never came up with, Dañarte gets KICKED OUT OF RSA!!!! or just transfers for some reason idk.

i debated on having him in scarabia or pomefiore, but ultimately went with scarabia, and here’s why I said he’d probably be a second year lol

because now he’s with kalim and jamil!!! at first kalim’s like “oh!!! a new friend nice to meet you!!!” but then quickly discovers at pop music club that this is in fact the same Dañarte that cater dated and broke his heart!!! oh no!!!

and cater’s like oh god!! my ex goes to school here now!! FUCK!!

but never fear. he claims he’s turned over a new leaf. that he will be civil. he just wants to start over and be a good boy 😌

cater is hesitant, but doesn’t wanna make a fuss. kalim wants to believe in the good in everyone and wants to give him a chance. and JAMIL who is ALSO HERE bc scarabia, does NOT trust this guy and does NOT want to leave him around kalim alone so he’s making an effort to be around the two of them a lot

basically jamil and Dañarte kinda suss each other out pretty fast as being people who hide their true intentions well under a facade of being polite and agreeable. idk if he’d show up pre or post overblot tho

so he spends a loooot of time with kalim and by extension jamil. and he’s also hovering around cater a lot

circling back to the idia thing lol, in some of the little fics i wrote for this au, i had written from i think idia’s pov and it was snippets that were basically:

idia likes cater, azul likes jamil [lol surprise they showed up in this eventually] and theyre board game buddies that kinda poke at each other about it. idia’s talking to cater behind the prince eppa account, and azul’s the only one that knows the secret. idia and cater bond via the account, idia learns more about cater’s melancholic side, they get really close, convince each other to go to class more in solidarity, cater sometimes vents to ‘eppa’ about the problems he’s having with his BOYFRIEND Dañarte... but idia is there to support caycay bc he’s SPECIAL <3 anyway then cater and Dañarte break up, idia and azul bully each other about how they’re afraid of making a move, blah blah blah. eventually cater’s gossiping to idia in class about how azul asked jamil on a date [i made a specific ref to my fic that i DID publish, Fake It Til We Make It 😌 but that’s not importantdsjlfd], the topic of valentine’s day comes up, cater mentions boohoo caycay is single on valentines day again... and idia has worked up the courage to invite cater to ignihyde’s movie night! hooray bonding irl and not behind the eppa mask!!! ohh but then. fast forward a little? cater’s talking to idia, hes like wow u and i have gotten closer lately, can i talk to u about something personal? u see... my ex asked me out. and i said id think about it 😔 cue heartbreak for idia again!! idia goes to board game club SAD. azul is also there and is like “oh sulking solidarity? i gotchu bro. jamil dumped me :’)” and idia’s like uhhhh fuck azul looks like he’s trying not to cry... wanna play VR games so we can escape reality... and they do 😌

^that’s where the written part ended. i have a doodle somewhere of like. even more soap opera drama. like i think Dañarte had asked cater out and cater was gonna give him a chance, but then ohhh noo guess what? cater’s telling pop music club.... and he’s like “ya Dañarte asked me out again-” and kalim FREEZES. hes like WAIT WHAT. WHAT. OH NO. bc uhhh turns out!!! Dañarte also just asked jamil out. WHAT THE!!! and the only reason jamil said YES(OH NO!!!) was bc he was sulking about his break up with azul 😔 a situation of jamil and azul fighting, breaking up, but still really really missing each other wahhhh making bad choicesssss

i dont think i ever went past there LOL but in my head and heart, that specific branch would have to be a happy ending for idia/cater and jamil/azul, Dañarte is simply there to cause problems on purpose

i also had a side reason, like a bonus for Dañarte’s motives (he’s not that deep a character lol this is mostly just goofs and giggles here) hes basically like “grr i resent my cousin so im going to do everything i can to sabotage his happiness. just because i guess. also maybe i should just become famous on the internet MYSELF since i cant be a cool royal, ill just use my title and charisma, and ill steal the fans of popular people like neige and vil - ooh looks like my dumb cousin’s crush is a fan of them both, excellent. hmm so is this rook person what- oh god no he’s weird and scary i’ll stick to terrorizing cater. anyway-” but i kinda didn’t stick with the magicam thing lol. just like a potential extra bit.

‘ I have a scene in my head of pop music club going to do a small performance sometime after dañarte transferred to scarabia , and Kalim is torn bc on one hand he’s the housewarden and must make everyone feel welcome! But I’m the other hand that’s caters mean ex  but on the other hand again he seems so nice and apologetic   what do I do!! So Kalim ends up coming up to cater right before their performance and is like “ummmmm don’t be mad but I kind of invited dañarte ” and caters like KALIM WHY  and kalims like IM SORRY HE SEEMED SO SAD AND REALLY WANTED TO SEE YOU PLAY They’re loudly stressing out off in the corner, meanwhile dañarte  is wandering around the audience with Jamil like fellow scarabia buddy I hope u don’t mind if I hang around u Jamils like  whatever but we have to sit… waaaaay over here, bc he saw tako and idia and he’s still in his awkward confusing feelings heartbreak stage with azul, And azul+ idia are at the show together just In Distresss'

I’ve been in this fandom from the very second the pilot trailer of Bad Buddy dropped at GMMTV2022. The moment i saw Pran lying on top of Pat and saying

I was obsessed. I watched from episode 1 when the episodes finally started coming out but I wasn’t hugely involved in fandom until later on

Somewhere along my bbs journey I got converted into a huge WaiKorn fan. Something about the dynamics mix of enemies with benefits and also best friends to lovers just really hits the spot. Also make it sound good is just so good. But also I love PatPran so so much

I gotta love Pran. Me🤝Him fr. I love a good deeply repressed hopeless romantic character who’s really going through it.

Favourite episode/s

Episode 9. I loved seeing PatPran get to date openly at university, just getting the chance to BE boyfriends and care about eachother. Sure Pat got shot but their scene in the hospital was cute and we got to see Pran + the engineering gang as well as Wai and Pat getting along. Also Pat, Pran, Pa and Ink‘a dinner >>>> . Also Ink’s flirting, I can’t believe I went there! Also Korn being the best friend to Pat, sure he teases but when it really matters he’s there for his friend.

Favourite scene/s

Other than THE scene(my thoughts about it)? I love the scene at the benches in ep 9 1/4 where PatPran are comforting eachother after their relationship is revealed, the little things from the less sweet iced tea to holding hands, Pat willing to be the heartbroken one, it was nice to see them being so free with just liking and supporting eachother after pretending not too for so long. Also ep 8 3/4 with PatPran at their houses, it’s so nice to see Pran smile so widely with his cute elevator joke and the hugs and the headphones and shirt.

One thing you would change about the show if you could

More Inkpa. Gmmtv needs to open their eyes and give us the GLs we all want. (Also waikorn canon :))

And for the first question I'll take this ask as an opportunity to sum up some hcs I have for this AU 👍 but some important notes first:

I personally rather imagine this AU as a magicless/not-so-magic-central kinda world just for simplicity sake, but the rest of twst og lore pretty much remains the same.

Scarabia into the spider-verse, headcanons under the cut!

Earth 2506 - Kalim as the spider-man of his dimension. Can also be referred to as the desert-spider!

uhh (making up an origin story on the spot right now) considering he comes from a family of influential merchants, maybe they got a great deal to partner up with some sort of scientific corporation, to deal with the business side of their new technologies. Kalim was for the first time invited to one of the meetings, as the heir to the family business, it was about time for him to check in person how things worked on this field. Jamil is the first one to know about this secret identity of course. He covers up any potential slips, as to not reveal this secret to anyone else

One notable thing about spider-man!Kalim is that he can afford whatever hero gadgets he needs. Gotta fix his web shooters? Want a nice improvement on his hero constume? No problem. He got a fair share of contacts from people who'd easily do all of these for him. Even though it is Jamil the one who usually runs after this stuff in his place...

Canon event stuff being losing a best friend? Jamil in this universe actually becomes Venom (maybe he found a symbiote from the same lab the spider came from) and yeah they had to fight. Jamil probably snapped for the same reasons he got his overblot. And this is the part where Kalim learns that with great powers comes great responsibility...

What would happen next? Does he move on eventually after the fight? Will there be other villains for spider-man to stop? How will he keep the secret identity now that Jamil's gone? Well, these are great questions, because- (runs away)

Earth 1209 - Jamil as the spider-man of his dimension. Idk if he'd go by any other variant of a spider-man name

Now that I think about it, his own universe is probably an accidental breach from Kalim's. As in "what if Kalim didn't get bitten at the lab, and instead brought the radioactive spider back home by accident?" then when Jamil took Kalim's backpack he was the one to get bitten instead

Ace happened to be the first one to find out about Jamil's powers after an incident on a basketball game. Their dynamic is funny. It's not like Ace wants to be the "guy in the chair" but if Jamil's secret identity is ever at risk, he'd volunteer to help, no questions asked. And aside from him, Najma is the only other person who knows about this as well. The very moment spider-man made his first appearance in public she knew! She says it's a "sister instinct", or something like that. She'd even offer to help him and make him a proper hero uniform... but ONLY if he agrees to do all the house chores for her for a month.

Perhaps spider-man!Jamil has a puppeteer-like skill that he can use to control a small number of people with his webs!

Leona could be a mentor type of character in this universe. Like Jamil already kinda looks up to him in canon, but this time they are a little nicer to each other loll and I only bring this up because there is no "uncle Ben" for Jamil to lose, but Leona is the closest thing he could have to one, so...... canon event. That also ties up to that spider-man story trope of the hero finding himself in the wrong place wrong time, by the side of the person they just lost, only for a third party to walk in and assume it was spider-man the one who killed them. Having people assume this masked man to have killed a person as prestigious as Leona immediately makes spider-man public enemy #1

And edit: just remembered the point abouve could be Kalim alternatively. Which would be even more tragic to think both Jamil and Kalim lose each other in their respective universes

But what do we do after that? How does Jamil redeem himself after this misunderstanding? What if he just gives up being spider-man? Well, uhhh these are also good questions.... look over there! (runs away again)

Honestly, I love your style, And I enjoy the way you design the characters we rarely see with the cloak off, like grimm or the pale king. But obviously, No artist is without his flaws, and I presume you do not view yourself to be without any. For starters, While the whole "Pale king is an innocent gubblemuncher" thing is cute, depending on how it's handled, It gets stale, fast. (especially considering purely how non-gubblemuncher PK is in the lore, but whatever, we can just ignore that-) Then, I have a bit of a nit to pick at with the way the "Feral PK au" was handled. Once again, similar issue to as I listed prior, PK being innocent and chill is cute, but it gets old fast, especially when the au is based around this characterization of the pale king. (Also, I didn't like PK and WL breaking up despite WL seeming to still care about him in the game, Unless there was some insane sit-com tier argument they had after PK reincarnated that I was never told about, But ig we needed a reason to ship grimm and pk, since, as most are aware, WL hates grimm's guts, so I doubt she would be ok with sharing, so it makes sense.) And finally, I don't like the missed potential of the "feral PK au". When I first heard of that au idea, I imagined a tragic story where PK comes back, But is almost a wild animal and WL ends up caging him bc she's too attached to let him go.... Instead, It's basically an artifact title, one that only applies to the act 1, maybe even just act 0.5, Possibly act 0.25 depending on how it worked. So, I think a more accurate title would be "palegrimm crack au" /j

okay so uhh. i wanted to keep this short but i have a lot of things to say, though i'll get to the point right away. i don't appreciate those kinds of comments, i'm sorry

don't get me wrong, you have every right to dislike aspects of my au. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. i'm aware that some of my takes are perhaps a little out there. i know many of them stray far away from canon. however, i never claimed that i wanted it to stick to canon, quite the opposite in fact

this au, the whole story, is something i do for myself. it's a little comfort space for me, that i decided to share with friends and other people because they showed interest and wanted to me to talk about it. i did not make it with the intention of creating a coherent narrative, or writing something sophisticated that would have a good plot. i'm not good at those things, i won't pretend otherwise. all this is, is just a silly self-indulgent au that means so, so much to me

and so i understand if some people don't vibe with it. that's perfectly fine, it's not for everyone. what i'm not fine with is people telling me how they think i should write the characters or where they think i should take the story, treating it as if the au is meant to cater to them. that is not what you'll find here, i'm sorry. i find comments like "this is a missed potential" to be a bit rude and quite discouraging, especially since i've never done anything like this and so i'm very insecure about it

some parts of this ask come off as a bit passive-aggressive to me, but that could very well be me overthinking. and because i don't like assuming the worst in people, i want to clear some misconceptions i saw here instead

first of all, the au is not built around the idea that pk is innocent. i've stated before that i don't agree with that notion, he has done terrible things and that should not be ignored. the difference here is that i try to make him more nuanced, and i've personally always loved the theme of well-meaning people committing horrible actions in the name of good. that is where i'm going with my interpretation. he tries to do well, he is very emotional and anxious, he wants to make others happy and be loved. and yet he's still responsible for the deaths of so, so many beings that did not deserve that fate. that is not something i want to ignore, it's something that haunts him constantly, and is a huge part of his character, his struggles and his arc in the au

the reason why you rarely see that portrayed in my art is because, like i said, this is something i do for myself. while i enjoy thinking about more emotional aspects of it, i also want to find happiness and comfort in it, and so i prioritize wholesome art, as that is what i find the most comforting. perhaps it is my fault that i'm not clear enough about this, and if so, i'll try to do better

i will be more short and to the point with the next part, as i've answered many asks about this topic in the past. but no, fpk and wl did not separate because of grimm. they did not separate because of a "sitcom tier argument" either. it was a result of their vastly different approaches to dealing with their guilt and shame (among other things about their relationship), and they divorced while still on good terms. this would've happened in the au even without grimm in the picture, so no, i did not just get rid of wl to make space for the ship i like. that was never my intention, even if pale nightmare is my preferred ship

lastly, about the name of the au, i mentioned before that it wasn't a conscious decision to name it that, people simply started calling him "feral pk" and i decided to keep it. for convenience, and because i thought it had a nice ring to it. that being said, it's still accurate to his character in the au. he doesn't simply "drop the feral act" once he reunites with his family, his instincts are a part of him now. throughout the whole story of the au, he is by all accounts "feral". if you had different expectations for this, then i'm afraid that is on you. you are free to explore the idea you had yourself, it sounds interesting. but it's not something i wanted to do

like i said. i don't want to assume that your intentions were to be rude. but i wanted to respond anyway to clear possible misunderstandings, and emphasize that i don't like seeing comments like this. still, i hope you have a good day anon. if you did not mean for me to interpret it like this, then know that i don't hold it against you. we're all here to enjoy ourselves, but some boundaries need to be made, and this is where i set mine. i hope you understand

What are the dietary staples of one culture/region in your word and how do they affect the geography, politics, culture, religion and/or economy?

Sadly I don't think I have much of an answer here, as Lexical Earth is effectively just our Earth with a few apocalyptical circumstances. That said it is something I should think about so, let me give it a try:

The First Wave and War Against Heaven would very easily upset the economy/supply lines of Earth near permanently. I had this very early idea that Lexical Earth truckers were these hardened adventurer types that traveled coast to coast through Fae infected landscapes, no-man's land of occult traps, and whatever other Wyrd stuff that was out there. Spiritually that still exists through Gearshift, one of my TTRPG players, who was a truck driver before he Inscribed and uses it as an excuse to have slight esoteric knowledge on lots of things.

My first inclination is to say that most societies became fairly enclosed after the masquerade broke due to usual world travel becoming harder and more dangerous; but then I remember things like the realm of Umbra exists. So this implies the existence of magic based shipping companies capable of express shipping anything across the whole world and (with extra fees and legal wavers) directly into your house. As has been the joke in my current TTRPG game, most actual companies and properties exist in Lexical with a slight name change: therefor magic amazon would be called something like "Valdivian" and is run by a cabal of shadow wizards.

Earlier on I came up with the concept of with first Inscribed being someone who called herself "Mother" or potentially "Babushka" as she was based in a Slavic nation. Her powers are fairly simple, initially all she did was make food out of nothing for her family and village.

I realize I've mostly talked about logistics and how people eat, rather than what they eat. Easy to see that it's a gap in my knowledge; which I think I should start to research more. Thanks for starting/pushing me down this path!

MacTavish Residence, Glasgow, Scotland

Alex joined the commotion going on in the living room while he was on his way to get Samantha a cup of coffee before she woke up. The group consisted of Soap, Price, Jack and France facing a laptop.

He peeked for a while and saw Ghost, Roach and Maxine on the other end of the video call. He had no idea why they'd have to do that but proceeded to listen.

"So uh… we didn't find a single body on the ship. It's possible the waves already washed them somewhere. Guess I'll have to check on local news for more information. But what we do have are coordinates to a Site Hotel Bravo?" Ghost asked and the name didn't ring any bells.

Price and Jack's heads turned after hearing it and they slowly speculated before replying.

"I'll see what I can find." Price replied as their feed slowly lagged due to internet failure. Francine looked like she wanted to say anything to Max but the call ended abruptly.

"How could she just leave without telling me?" Francine complained while storming off.

"Maybe she had her reasons?" Soap followed her trying to calm her raging emotion. Alex nodded to Jack and Price who nodded back and went to the office. He felt like words weren't necessary to tell him that they'll be planning on their next move.

With everyone else gone, Alex made his way back to their room where Samantha was already awake and brushing her hair in front of the mirror.

Setting the cup of coffee by the drawer, a smile escaped his lips as their eyes met through the reflection, where she saw Alex slowly approach her and hug her back as they slowly swung sideways.

"Good Morning, Gorgeous." Alex muttered and kissed her on the cheek while Samantha giggled at the ticklish feeling of his moustache.

"Good Morning to you too, Handsome" she replied while her hands looked for him and intertwined them tightly.

"Any plans today?" She mused, tilting her head enough to meet his lips as they kissed intimately. 

"Hmm. Your best friend somehow made it to London today…" he murmured after their kiss, as Samantha's eyes opened wide.

"Hm?" was all she could say as their heads parted farther.

"My best guess is that they went back to the ship. Probably to look for Alexandra… or what remains of her." he continued as Samantha showed a worried look.

"Roach is with her…" he added once more in an attempt to not make her worry.

"I see what you are doing, 3-1." She mused. Alex's eyes widened to the sound of her using his code, he somehow found it… sexy.

"So we're using code names now?" He turned to Samantha who sat on the bed, the worry on her face was still obvious.

"Hey now." Alex called, smiling at the moment their eyes met.

"She'll be alright. She's got two strong soldiers around her. Don't worry." 

"I guess you're right…" she sighed in resignation as Alex leaned in closer for a hug. The said hug meant to assure her that everything will be alright.

Alex spent most of the day with Samantha, judging on how busy Jack and Price were, he assumed they're going to be back on the field again, and that means that she'd be left all alone and worried.

They caught Soap and France doing the same too, but since they're both soldiers, they won't be separating from each other. 

"I like to believe something's already going on with them." Samantha leaned in to Alex at the sofa, as the two watched Soap and France arguing at each other in the kitchen. It looked like they were seeing who gets to assemble a pistol first, but the bickering was longer than the actual game.

"Yeah? You should've seen them kiss back at the Gulag. That was uhh… a sight to behold?" Alex chuckled.

"Ohh they already did? I knew it. Even back at the infirmary, I could feel the both of them trying to vibe." Samantha mused and laughed and just after that statement. The two competitors already found themselves in a concerning situation. Soap was already on her back, his hands helped guide France's on the pistol, their faces were so close to each other, one slight turn could already be a potential time to kiss.

And that they did, Alex and Samantha saw France ask a question to which Soap answered by slowly tilting his head to her face. What happened next was that their eyes both closed and their lips met slowly at first then progressed into a more intimate session.

Samantha covered Alex's eyes and giggled as Alex did the same, laughing so hard that they were lying on the sofa.

After that, Price and Jack quickly announced that they'll be visiting Shepherd in Afghanistan. The two couples exchanged looks, where Samantha frowned as she realized that Alex would once again be placed in danger.

AFGHANISTAN

Alex didn't expect that they're going to visit Shepherd with full gear. It looked like Price and Jack made some negotiations to make this possible considering how the weapons looked expensive. Maybe earning favors was a good thing after all.

The rest of the team easily regrouped in Scotland, where Maxine and Samantha kind of got the whole MacTavish Estate to themselves. It's the safest idea aside from sending her back to her Dad.

Now, the rest of the squad is flying discreetly above Afghan borders on their way to Site Hotel Bravo. Intel suggests it's a hidden cave network which housed Shepherd's Elite troops called the Shadow Company, which the group already acquainted with back in London.

The plan is to stop Shepherd from finishing his EMP Nuke and attempt to destroy any trace of it from being rebuilt again. If possible, they could also use this opportunity to get intel on Nero.

"Da. There it is. The exact location of your coordinates." Nikolai announced over the comms. The rest of the team looked down on a barren canyon, no sign of anything that said "Camp". 

"For a military base, this one looks pretty empty." Roach commented.

"Well, if intel's correct then whatever is below that would be the one we're looking for." Ghost said, putting on his new and improved mask.

"Prepare for dropoff." Price signaled as everyone quickly attached themselves to the hook, as they descended after Price's signal.

"Let's get evil!" He cheered as his foot landed on the ground, dust quickly blowing on the wind.

They all raised their suppressed weapons and hid on the nearest covers.

"Sandstorms brewing up. We'll use them for cover." Price announced as he and Jack crouched forward, hooking to a rappel slid down the ropes, as they stealthily took down two guards by the elevated area.

As soon as the coast was clear, the group now gathered by the entrance of the cave and began to split up.

Alex and Jack were to locate and plant charges on the Nuke, permanently erasing such weaponry off the face of the Earth. Soap, France and Ghost's task was to locate any intel regarding Nero while Price and Roach will try to find Shepherd and beat the truth out of him.

"All-righty, kiddo. Let's get a move on." Jack nodded as Alex followed his former CO inside the cave. The scenery turned darker as the rest of the team split up to cover more ground.

"It's almost pitch black in here…" Jack whispered as he toggled his flashlight.

"You're not using a flashlight? Can you see in the dark, Alex?" He asked with amusement in his voice.

"Not really. But I eat a lot of carrots." He joked, turning on his lights and pushing forward to the dark tunnel. As expected, Jack wouldn't get the joke. Alex knew that some things would never change.

"You hear that?" Alex mumbled as sounds of footsteps echoed on the narrow walls, causing the two to lean close to the wall and turn off their lights. With his eyes beamed on the light at the end of the tunnel. People in lab coats shuffled across the halls, making their path correct.

"This is the right way." Alex affirmed as they slowly pushed their way to the Lab in stealth.

Jack followed, guarding Alex's six, as they reached the main hall of the laboratory. 

"This is Echo Three One, we already made it to the lab. Proceeding to locate the Nuke and plant the charges." Alex informed as they took cover behind corners, eyeing out for possible hostiles.

"Copy that three one, we're still on the lookout for Shepherd." Price reported.

"Uh.. Ghost kinda left us alone. He said he was going to cover our six but he's gone. This place is huge, we're still on the lookout for possible intel rooms." Soap muttered as Alex and Jack maneuvered the Laboratory as stealthily as possible.

When a small group of babbling scientists were heard from the halls, Alex and Jack quickly hid in the nearest room they could find, accidentally stumbling on the blueprints of the nuke.

The whole wall was filled with blue paper depicting an almost scale model of a rocketship. If this was the nuke Shepherd wanted, it was obvious why he desperately needed the money.

Jack's camera shuttered as he took a photo of the thing to report back to Price.

"So, how do we get rid of this?" he asked.

"More importantly, how is our charge going to set off that huge thing?" Alex asked and looked at the blueprints carefully.

"The engine." They both said, as they traced the engine.

"It's their final piece of the puzzle." Jack theorized.

"And we're lucky enough they haven't placed the thing yet." Alex continued.

The further they traversed into the lab, the more crowded it got. It was expected as they were building a huge EMP rocket nuke, and it was getting harder for Alex and Jack to advance further. Right now, their best option was to lock themselves in a comfort room.

"We need a diversion." Alex planned as Jack leaned by the sink, checking out his greying beard in the mirror.

"We'll wait for the others to alert the whole base." he replied. It was a risky move, but it would work. If they were to create their distraction in the lab, everyone would go here and make it much harder to set the charge.

"This is Echo Three One does anyone copy?" Alex's tone was annoyed.

"I guess they jammed this place up, kid. We're on our own." He said calmly as Alex clicked his tongue. Jack was right, they just have to wait.

But the anticipation of not knowing anything outside was worrying him. What if the nuke was already launched? What if the team already did their plans and they're still inside the damn comfort room?

Alex's mind was clouded with thoughts of failing. He was not used to this way of thinking, but ever since he met Samantha once again, he became more concerned of the safety of the group, more specifically, his safety. Back then, he was fine with sustaining injuries and being reckless, but now he wanted to get home from missions in one piece. Losing his leg was the last line he was willing to draw.

Then, the alarm systems blared, it was requesting every scientist to report to the bunker.

"See? All you need to have is a little faith." Jack smiled and readied his weapon, leaning closely by the door.

"After you kid, I always got your back." He said as Alex slowly flicked the lock open, his hand grabbed the door knob and slowly pushed it open.

Oh, my friend!!! Ahhh thank you so much for sending this in!! I have been a bit iffy because some things in my life have been piling up, but!!! I am so excited to dig into this!!! I really need a good gushing session haha!

Today's target for gushing hours with your girl Ash is none other than Yaag Rosch!

This ended up being pretty long, and is a mix of lore, screaming, keyboard smashes, his gorgeous design, and more screaming.

Saying that this man lives in my head rent free is an understatement. He is all I think about it. Honestly, I think it's funny considering Yaag's role in FF13. He's only around in the first game, and shows up in like five cutscenes.

Also. We get crumbs of him in the novels. More on that later. Back to the game.

All he does is "hey yall suck" "your lives don't matter" "uhh i need to kill you guys" "oh wait no i'm not evil" "*dies*"

But!!! He's very cool!! His character is so interesting to me. He's so driven to do whatever it takes, but beneath his actions, there's always an edge of hesitation. He seems like he comes off as so sure of himself, but... I'm not sure about that. Now, I can't say anything for sure because the writers hate him, I really liked those few moments where we get to see his actual thoughts.

For example, "Do you think we want to Purge our own people?!" And things like that where you see him question his orders. I feel like there's a lot of underlying hatred, distrust, and overall fear of the system.

Also, his development from "They aren't people, they're targets." to "I'll trust in your humanity." Gets me every single time.

Also don't get me started on his "if this is my punishment... i accept it." when he's bleeding line.

I am here to gush, not analyze. But both are happening anyway.

I feel as though he puts a lot of thought into what he says and how he acts, and I really do admire that.

For context, Lieutenant Colonel Yaag Rosch is this military higher-up guy. I remember seeing him for the first time and my jaw simply dropping. I know that these games have a history with hot villains. After all, I am an FF7 fan. I have seen the SOLDIERS, I have seen the Turks, I've seen Rufus. They're all hot.

There. I said it.

This intro scene gave us some damn good food. Like??? The silver hair??? The ponytail??? The scar on his forehead??? The overly dramatic speech about how the protagonists need to be eliminated??AJKLFNAWKJFNAWKLJFNWILEN.

(Also, I'm beginning to see the resemblance he has to Felix. I am a very predictable woman, aren't I?)

I am actually going to scream. He’s so handsome!!! His jaw!! His eyes are such a pretty color too!!! I wanna give him a kiss ahhh!! Especially on his forehead scar!!! He's so... woah.

Also, he has a really, really nice voice. Like??? WOW. I want this man to like. narrate my life. Here, lemme find some clips of him talking.

Anyways, as time went on, I realized that he's actually such a deep and interesting character?? He gets done dirty by the writers and the game, but the potential he has makes me so excited!! There's so much material to work off of!!! Truly one of the more interesting villains the trilogy has to offer. Honestly, it's kind of difficult going through the second game knowing that he isn't there.

However, it's also difficult going through the second game because I??? Can't beat?? The goddamn boss fight??? I'm also playing on easy mode. I didn't struggle this much during the first game either. What the hell, Ash.

Back to the actual topic.

I'm gonna start off with his design before we delve into s/i lore and fun tidbits.

(His coat is so cool... Do you think he'd let me wear it? I'd probably waddle around in it because he's pretty tall and I. I am not.

He's around 6'2 (around almost 188 cm..? I think?), but take into account his boots too. Which means that normally he's slightly taller. That means that he's about a foot taller than me. That means that I'm pretty much the perfect height to bury my face in his chest. *screams*)

Talk about a kickass design. He's really cool to look at. Not only, uhm, *blushes*, but because of how cool his outfit is too! It does a really good job of portraying that "heyyy i'm super importtanntttt" energy that he has. He carries himself like he's the shit. And you know what? He is.

He's pretty professional. Minus the times he gets kinda pissed. The novels say, and I quote,

"They said he was the most straitlaced man in PSICOM - if you put serious and stubborn in a military uniform, you'd get Colonel Rosch."

And yeah. That basically sums it up.

Also, there's this scene where he gets all pissed and pulls out his sword and I'm over here like *insert debby ryan hair thing here*. I'm telling you, it's always the sword boys that get me. I'm sure you've noticed that by now. I don't know what it is but. It's a thing.

Oh!!! Oh!!! Speaking of the *tucks hair behind ear*, there's this one scene where he's chasing the protagonists. And he goes, "Clever, aren't you?"

*SCREAMS*

That scene is truly a masterpiece. Thank you for the good food, Squeenix. I remember having to take a moment to just pause and regather myself. Actually, I had to do that the first time I saw him too-

I wasn't alone at the time when he was introduced so I was just silently like "ohmygodhellosir ajrfnaklwenjklwenjklrn" but oh my GOODNESS.

My s/i works with him! She's pretty much his right hand woman. She always has reports and intel on all their missions ready to go! I find it cute how well they work together, be it for mission-related matters, or just when they're relaxing together.

Just like pretty much all of my other s/is, she's a raging academic and total nerd. In the first game, they basically live on this human paradise called Cocoon. It ends up not being so great because the gods want to murder humanity but anyways! Education is pretty much free and you can study whatever you're passionate about. That's why she has studied just so many things.

She's not exactly the type who aspired to join the military, but alas! Things happened. I like to think of it as a "heyyyy y'all needed my help once and then once turned to twice and twice to thrice and then i never left" type thing.

Oh, and then she fell in love with Yaag while she was there.

Her cheery attitude is a direct opposite to his, but they're also able to have some very serious conversations with each other. I love their dynamic so much! Also, he can get a bit softer when he's opening up to her and,,, Soft Yaag??? Hoo boy.

Her motives and beliefs tend to align a bit more with the Cavalry branch, but i feel as though she fits in better with PSICOM. Also, the book describes the soldiers to be a bunch of dumbass dorks and just the thought of her smiling and cracking jokes with all of Yaag's men make me super happy.

Oh and she gets a cool uniform too! Because I said so.

Now, they've known each other for years by the time the end of the first game rolls around. They're happy together, maybe even engaged! It can go one of two ways here. He either dies or he doesn't.

I like adhering really closely to canon with my ships (*laughs in genesis angst*) but I also think it would be a blast if he were to survive.

In the novels after his death, some recordings of his are found. It's basically him talking about how the government sucks from the inside. A character finds these and reveals them to the public to get rid of the old government and an invite a newer one that actually cares about the people. However, it's never quite stated how he got those recordings. And that's where Ash steps in.

She brings them to his attention and helps him out, but then returns to live with the rest of the remaining soldiers in that camp they set up in the second novel. They all look up to her as a leader-type, which I find is really funny because she doesn't exactly have the qualifications? She worked with PSICOM, but was never exactly a soldier. But hey, it's right after the world (quite literally) fell apart, I don't think that anybody cares about that.

Also, there's another chapter where Snow ends up visiting, and she has a friendly chat with him!!! She helped out the protagonists a little bit near the end of the first game, so they have a slight idea of who each other are, but that doesn't exactly change the fact that she fell under the category of villain for a lot of it, despite not actually being a bad person. I also think that their dynamic would be fun. Snow also just makes me really happy LMAO.

I think that this version of Ash is really fun just because of how much the experience hardens her? She spends a lot of time grieving. Also!!! Whether or not she makes a cameo in 13-2 (maybe near the ruins early game?) is totallllyyyy up to you hehe! I think it would be neat for her to talk to the protagonists of that game, especially since Yaag was the one who orchestrated the Purge and at the ruins, there's a huge monument of the names of people who were killed there.

Also, whether or not she has a son here is up to you. I like to think of all my ideas all happening in alternate timelines so everything I want can happen without stepping on other events? I imagine their child to have Yaag's pretty silver hair with Ash's brown eyes.

Also, 13-2 is about time travel so like. The protagonists meeting their child in the future when he's all grown up? Good stuff.

But hey, in the main timeline she's alone after Yaag's death. She helps the other characters. I also think that in time, she does work for the Academy? I mentioned that she's pretty nerdy earlier, so that definitely helps out. She's super cool!!! Such a badass!!!

Now, on the flipside of things, what if he survived? Then what happens? shameless self promo

Yaag still has those recordings, and they do still reach Captain Rygdea. They both live in the small village that the remnants of PSICOM created. It's a sweet life. Are fankids a thing in their future? Yeah, probably.

I feel like Yaag would be a really good dad. I headcanon that he has a very strong relationship with his own father as well. He's caring and stern, but also knows when to turn down the serious scale. The novels also say that he likes kids!?!?!? I know I've screamed about this point like 24892 times on my blog. But.

It's so cute??? Who would expect this super serious and mean man who quite literally says that the protagonists aren't people, they're targets to like children of all things???? It really is my favorite thing ever just because of how cute it is. I also have a few tiny cousins in my family, so him playing with them makes me very soft too.

("Would you please stop tugging on my hair- Ash, this is not a laughing matter!" "Oh, but it so is.")

I think that detail really helps hint at him having a more gentle side? And I adore that.

Also, I mentioned how Snow pays a visit to the PSICOM camp after the events of the first game? I think that would be very interesting with Yaag there because before Yaag dies in canon, Snow says, "Stay alive. We'll see you when it's over."

And now he finally gets to see him. The conversation would get surprisingly deep and definitely dive into Yaag's motives and real thoughts about his actions in the game. I really enjoy the few interactions those two have in the game.

Anyways, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's dig into the meat and potatoes of this ship.

In 13-2, they get a separate dlc side story just to themselves. Because I said so. I'm not sure how the plot of this works, but it's basically them exploring Gran Pulse together. Maybe to map things out? Maybe to get better acquainted with the world they thought was a hell their whole lives? Maybe there's some sort of big mission they have to do? We'll figure it out.

Basically, it's a whole side story of them exploring and kicking monster ass together. The combat is regular 13 combat.

Yaag has his sword along with some explosives (we see him carry some grenades at the end when he blew himself up). And Ash also has a sword because I like swords.

In the game, usually only l'Cie, or magic god slaves, can use magic. However, after the fal'Cie (magic gods) go poof at the end of the end of the first game, some normal humans can use magic? It makes no sense and exists only for plot convenience, but I'm not complaining because it makes my plot easier too.

My point is, Ash can use magic! Because A) she's quirky mage material B) we need a balanced team C) Every single version of Ash so far has been a mage. D) I like magic a lot. Would be my go-to as well.

Also, if you're interested in how they work in battle, roles divide up very nicely between them.

Yaag has: -Commando (physical attacks) -Sentinel (beefy tanks) -Sabuteur (debuffing enemies)

Ash has: -Ravager (magic goes brrr) -Medic (i think you know) -Synergist (buffing allies) -Commando (physical attacks)

Maybe Yaag could get medic too to balance off the load in battle? They're a blast in combat because they really do compliment each other.

Anyways, back to the adventure.

It's the two of them traveling around. The main focus of it is their conversations as they travel. There's a lot of fun banter. Ya know how like when you're walking around in Naughty Dog games and your characters are just chatting? Yeah. That.

Their conversations are super random and they cover pretty much every single topic ever. They go from really serious to them just being stupid. I love their friendly banter.

Also, when they set up camp and are about to sleep, we get to see sleepy Yaag in action. And do you know what that means?

It means we get to see Yaag with his hair done a bit looser, maybe even down!!! Yaag with his hair down is all I want to see. It's what we deserve. It's what we need. The day that I see Yaag with his hair down is the day i achieve true happiness LMAO.

It's what we need.

Ash playing with his hair??? Yes, I most definitely think so.

Oh and there is totally a "Yaag, I'm cold." "Allow me to help remedy that. *pulls her closer*" type moment because they're cute like that.

All in all, their travels are really fun. Maybe somewhere around there they run into the protagonists? Either from the first game or the second game. I think that would be a fun mess.

I feel like Yaag can show a softer side of him around her and that makes me really happy. He deserves to be happy and I love him very much.

I think about him all the time, and just the thought of him holding me makes me so happy. He really is just adorable.

Before I wrap this up, I have a few more things I want to speak about! Firstly, allow me to share one of my favorite pictures of him because oh. my. god.

One of my favorite pre-relationship moments from them is this one time where Yaag is pretty down in the dumps, and Ash is talking to him about it and offering her advice. And as she talks, she gently places a hand over his (they're seated side by side btw). He looks up at her in shock, and she takes back her hand is like, "O-oh! I'm so sorry, I should've asked first, I just thought tha-"

And then he just snatches her hand back and gently holds it. You can see the tips of his ears burning red haha! I think that they're pretty cute ajfwnjklef

She always tries her best to take care of him, too! He needs a hug, and she is more than happy to provide. She always tries to remind him to eat his meals on time and such, even if she can be questionable at following her own advice at times. She can also be a bit of a tease sometimes, so he can get pretty annoyed (not really, he thinks it's cute) sometimes.

However, he also does his best to take care of her. Would he pull the "that's an order." card after she refuses to rest, pulling several late-nighters for work? Yeah. Probably. He's very caring, even if he can come off as very serious and scary sometimes.

To wrap things up, I love Yaag Rosch.

You went to your recipe book to see if you could find any treats for hamsters but couldn't find any. 

The same went for online

So you made that your mission. Making a sweet for only the most ferocious of hamster beasts.

You tried to keep it a secret, but gundham found out, and declared he must join you on your mission in life. 

Every afternoon he would meet you at your kitchen and you'd both work on recipes to find something that would be easy to replicate and mass produce that brings the dark devas powers to their fullest potential. 

You would work until the early hours of the morning. What was once going to be a small present had spiraled out of control, but you didn't mind. 

It was fun to spend your time with someone as passionate as the ultimate breeder.

When you had finally cracked the code, it was early in the morning. He was so happy that he looked like he was about to hug you

"(Y/N), I often wish you weren't a mere human." He said as he watched the devas eat their sacred meals.

"Even a human of your strength would perish by simply touching me, and it pains my heart"

He continued to ramble about how his power had the ability to destroy any human, and how he sometimes feared making companions for that reason

He was caught by surprise, and shocked when you didn't turn to dust in front of him

Though he was a reserve course student, Hajime would often spend time with your class after school. 

He just became one of the pals.

You loved giving out treats during homeroom, so you would make sure to save him some to give him after school.

"I'm so sorry that it isn't warm, Hinata! Oh! What if you come with me? I'll make you some of whatever you want!"

You dragged him off to your room. 

"What do you want? I'll make anything!" 

He reluctantly said he'd have some chocolate chip cookies. 

You whipped them up instantly and gave them to you nice and warm. 

He thanked you generously.

You continued the habit of making him things, making them more and more creative.

His favorite was your orange zest cupcakes

He had wanted to ask you on a date for a while, but was too shy to. He was a reserve course student, why would you go after him of all people? 

Mahiru ended up being sick of him being so shy, so she asked for him.

You laughed and accepted. 

You both went out to dinner a few days later. He was flustered and yet also a little frustrated that Mahiru rushed him. 

The dinner went overall well, and he walked you home that evening. 

He thanked you for coming out with him and being so kind and sweet

You decided to hand out brownies to your class one morning, when they were nice and warm. 

Almost everyone showered you with praise for the baked goods, but one person especially. Byakuya Togami. 

He told you it was the best food made by a commoner he had ever tasted. 

You two slowly grew closer as you brought in baked goods once a week. 

At first he had treated you with overall indifference, yet as you talked to him more he slowly opened up to you. 

He talked about his favorite foods, his favorite brands, and even his hobbies. 

As you two started to talk out of school, you noticed some things that didn't seem to fit in with the way he normally talked. He wasn't calling you a commoner anymore.

He started to treat you like an equal. 

One morning when you were handing out baked goods during class, he gave you a note. 

Meet me at my locker after school today. I have something important to talk to you about -Byakuya Togami

He didn't say anything else, besides a quiet thanks. 

When you went to his locker after school, he looked surprisingly anxious

"Follow me, we're going to the park, (Y/N)" he said coolly 

He sat down on the bench next to you under a cherry blossom tree. 

He let his secrets spill. That he always wanted to be someone else. Someone who would be noticed. That he wasn't even sure who he was… 

He spoke quietly and with a steady voice as he stared you in the eyes

"Would you really care about someone who you don't really know?" He asked. 

"Yes, yes I would Byakuya. Because even if that isn't your name, I didn't befriend a name or a face… I befriended you for your heart" 

He looked like he was about to cry as he pulled you into a soft embrace. 

Kazuichi Soda

Souda really, really loved touch, and was surprisingly easy fluster.

He loved it when you held his hand in public, it would make his heart thunder out of his chest.

Not to mention cuddling

He would rub your back sometimes, too. 

Whenever your kitchen gadgets broke, he would rush over and fix them.

He tried to add some mods, too. To make things faster or more efficient.

They were often to fast to use reasonably, but you thanked him for them anyway

You loved surprising him in his garage when he was working. 

You would always bring him his favorite- death by chocolate cupcakes. 

Sometimes you'd get grease on your clothes. He'd rush to help you clean them and try to get the stains out. 

When he realized they wouldn't be able to fully get it out, he took her to the store and bought the same outfit, along with something else.

He adored spoiling you.

You were his princess.

Nagito Komaeda 

You had heard some of the things your classmates had said about one of the ultimate lucks. That he was creepy and had an obsession with the other ultimates

You didn't believe them. You didn't think they were lying or anything, just that they didn't understand him. 

You decided to introduce yourself to him, and he was so excited.

An ultimate would talk to him?

He apologized in advance for having to put up with trash like himself.

You assured him he wasn't trash, and even invited him to hang out after school. 

He asked about what your ultimate talent was.

When he heard baker, he was awed. Oh the hope that you would be able to bring into others with your treats!

You two would gradually hang out more and more and become better friends. 

You would bake him something every time, but something always turned out wrong.

A bit of eggshell somehow got in, the vanilla would slip out of your fingers and dump into the batch, the baking time on the recipe was wrong, or something had spilled on your cookbook

Nagito had to anxiously explain the way his luck worked. Terrible luck had to come before good luck, followed by even more terrible luck.

"Well then, I don't mind! As long as you're getting some good luck, I don't mind having to bake something a few times to get it correct for you due to bad luck"

He was shocked by your amount of hope and kindness. 

"What do you think the good luck is, by the way?" You asked him suddenly

"To be honest, I think its spending time with you after school, (Y/N)"

He asked you out, and you accepted. He thought it was all his luck, but it wasn't. 

You loved giving him love and affection. Even small things like holding his hands in public, to cuddling him on the couch when you watch tv together. 

The bad luck would really be inconvenient, yet you got through it if it meant you got to spend time with him. 

He often rambled about how much he didn't deserve you, yet you always cut him off and tell him how much you loved him. 

He loved you so much

You two were both rather sweet to others, so it made sense that you got along right away. 

You quickly became the power couple of the school

He would pick you up and carry you on his shoulders all the time and make up little excuses for why he'd do it

Maybe it'd be faster if he just took you

It was for his workout

You had to grab something on the shelf

So on and so forth. 

You didn't mind, you just loved being carried by him. 

You would have movie nights with him all the time. 

You'd make cookies and pop some popcorn, and then cuddle with him or sit on his lap as the movie started

His favorite movie was Rocky

His favorite movie snack was your oatmeal bar cookies.  

Sometimes he massages you during the movies. You swear that those are the best things in the world.

He invites you to work out with Akane all the time. You aren't very athletic but accept anyway!

He has a list of exercises to help different parts of your body so you get a balanced yet not painfully difficult workout. It's one he had once used for a beginner's team, but it works well for you too. 

He makes sure to work out at a pace you can handle and gives you tons of tips before going off to spar with Akane

Sometimes, the winner gets your cookies. 

Those are the most intense any of their battles get

You and Teruteru had something in common before even knowing each other, as both of your ultimates were centered around culinary

He hadn't really tried to bake before

You decided to invite him to your home so you could show him what he was missing

He treated it like it was a date, and kept making inappropriate jokes the whole time, but you didn't really mind too much. 

He was having fun after all. 

You guys kept inviting each other over, either cooking or baking with one another. 

You realized he had feelings for you, but didn't reciprocate for a while

One day when you were cooking together it just hit you that you loved him

You loved his passion for his craft

You loved his kindness

You loved his humor

You loved him.

You asked him out

He accepted

Some things- a lot of things- stayed the same.

You would cook and bake every day together and search through recipe books to find new things to make

Other things changed

You were both big on cuddling and affection and couldn't get out of eachothers arms at night

His accent totally changed too. You didn't expect him to speak in a southern accent, but also didn't mind

It was nice to hear him talk about how beautiful you were in that voice. It showed you he didn't have to put up a front around you.

He would buy you aprons and dresses with light, pastel colours.

He just loved how everything looked on you. 

He would also buy some risque clothes, but if it made you very uncomfortable, he'd stop.

You realized why some of your classmates hated him, he could be pervy at times, even bordering on creepy. 

But that was just one flaw about him. 

His passion was almost unrivaled by your classmates, not to mention how funny he could be.

You just had to stick around to see that passion. Your patience went a long way.

Episode 1 - Answering machine going off and its’ Ronins voice over the machine: 'Looks like I’m gonna run late.. ugh this whole thing is falling apart isn't it. But we'll make it work. I got you a ferry to take you there, one of the cruise ships. It was the least I could do for now... I'll meet you there, I promise.'     >Cuts to Dareth on the boat, taking him and the rest of the people to ‘Aves Isle’.    >While everyone is getting off, Dareth helps a naga lady with carrying some of her stuff because Dareth ninjago.    >Naga ladys' name is 'Olive', she is a semi native. She starts talking about the islands' history. 'there used to be a temple but we don't know what happened to it, but it sunk into the ground.    >two investigate the area because Dareth has time to wait on Ronin.    >Upon finding whats’ left of the area and entering, the atmosphere changes and inflicts a weird curse or whatever.    >Dareth starts getting progressively more pushy Episode 2 - After s13 Wu wants to do more adventures so the bounty is just flying wherever the wind takes it I guess w/e {{Also realized I didn’t write much for Wu this entire rest of the story so I am assuming he’s having a grand ol’ time being on vacation}}    >wow it is night time, the bounty is flying in    >The crew ask where they are and Zane starts to go on his normal informative spiel before getting cut off.    >Oh there’s a thing on the radar. What the heck is that thing flying towards us OH GOD THAT’S A BIG ANGRY DRAGON    >Bounty has two smaller 'runner' boats? I guess? marketing. Two of the ninja hop on those and fly off.    >Zane and Jay distract the dragon so the bounty can safely land but it turns out there are two dragons and Jay gets taken down first. Yay soft landing.    >Bounty makes it safely over the fences that are on the island    >Zane gets taken out.    >Cuts back to Dareth and Olive still rooting around. activates something and wow a lava fountain. the ground is glowing in weird markings!    >Dareth snaps at Olive and she wells up and runs away and Dareth snaps out of it temporarily like 'oh crud why did I do that I didn't mean to be so bossy' and goes after her    >Olive gets overtaken and now: pointy.    >Dareth tries to stop her but she jumps into the portal lava whatever? hole?? not sure.    >He, of course, jumps in after.    >Fire Dareth.    >Random golden-looking platform chained to the bottom of the hole they are in. ominous voice: hey how about you get these locks free and we'll rebuild the temple? nice.    >Temple platform rises    >Zane gets tossed into an area? park? fenced in something or another??    >oh hi Jay    >oh community service sorting trash from recyclables? can do.

Episode 3 - The remaining ninja visit the two who are in 'time out' before deciding to have a look around the island.    >They take a nice walk down the beach Cole reminisces about the time Kai was extremely afraid of water    >Kai frowns as a laugh track is played. Claims he has gotten better at it but screams when Nya splashes him.    >Zane and Jay are done with service and its like 'okay how about we try to get out again?’    >Zane suggests doing it in the broad daylight since the dragons went out at night and may be nocturnal    >they try    >they get taken out again    >another round of community service    >sees another aircraft fall out of the sky    >guard: wow more property damage.    >sundown. lloyd notices that something strange is happening with some of the residents randomly getting more nippy and then not. strange. (Ninja get into an arguments with the locals or whatever)    >Stop by community service area    >Jay is now frustrated    >rest recuperate at where they parked the bounty    >Nya: well nothing is really going on here we can probably leave once the two are done breaking the law     >Ronin shows up to the area and is greeted sourly by Jay ninjago

Episode 4 - The ninja are ready to leave when they notice a weird ominous structure that wasn't there before.    >Crew investigate    >oh its hot. you can go in, Kai ninjago    >kai enters    >oh frick fire dareth    >kai ninjago, walking out and is krispy: there is a problem.    >three get out of service    >ronin asks if the little runner ships are 'truly' important    >hekcin steals their engine or whatever    >regroup at the bouty    >Kai: hey uhh, Dareth is peeved haha, I don't get it though he and I hang out every now and then.    >Ronin, internally: oh god he's really mad I didn't follow plans to a T-    >the ninja exchange awkward glances of guilt    >decide it'd be best to talk to him tomorrow, or try to. Also, more people are randomly getting upsetti, Jay is still frustrated.

Episode 5 - jay still has a bad attitude. lloyd is also starting to get upset. Cole tries to diffuse the situation but it causes the two to point their noses up at each other in silent anger. great.    >Kai enters in the temple again, which is even more built than it was before.   >Dareth being snarky   >kai apologizes and tells him he wasn't aware of it, and that he thought the two were good friends, reminding him of the times they hung out outside of mission things.   >Dareth calms down a bit   >finds a reason to be mad again.   >Ronin shows up   >'ronin?'   >''Told you I'd meet you here, what didn't you believe me? not really much of a vacation. How about we get some fresh air?"   >Dareth approaches   >oh no he's really hot.   >cheek caress with the robotic arm. gae.   >two head out. Room is no longer unbearably hot. good!   >squad enters in. goes into one of the inner chambers   >oh look the towns people overtaken by rage are building. nice.   >oh no jay and lloyd are fighting again.   >grabs attention of workers.   >the ninja get their butts handed to themselves, and lose Jay and lloyd in the process. nice   >cuts to Ronin and Dareth walking on the beach.   >Ronin smooth talking, normal Ronin behvior   >Flames and whatever fade from Dareth and he snaps out of it completely and immediately starts pouring out how he feels bad about being rude to Olive and whatever the bad guy is and what the plans of the temple are.   >Ronin: maybe we should tell the ninja. I don't want us to get involved anymore.

Episode 6 - Ronin informs the ninja of what's up.   >Nya: oh no we gotta stop this !   >Dareth: I want to help.   >Ronin: no we are on vacation we shouldn't have to; leave it up to them.   >Dareth: no I started this, this is my fault, I have to make it up to Olive and everyone <:(   >Ronin: :/   >Zane: we should focus on. not making the locals angry because that seems to draw them towards the temple.   >Ninja proceed to do good deeds, while part of them break off to do research   >learn about the bad guy dunn dun dunn!

episode 7 - Kai ninjago somehow is the one keeping the most level head out of everyone here and things get tense again. is it potentially out of character? Well he's mad that lloyd and jay are overtaken but he's doing a good job at self control.   >cuts to lloyd and Jay   >lloyd: this is dumb! why are we helping!? We're supposed to be stopping this!   >Jay: we're helping because YOU dragged us into this with your plan!   >argue. great   >bad guy laughing or whatever, oh the voice has a physical form that's manifesting from the heat of the temple. 'Good, soon I will be reborn and reclaim the island!'   >Olive inform him that Dareth has broken the spell   >bad guy furious and confused but is also like 'whatever we have a lot more important things to worry about'   >Nya and Zane are stepping on each others' toes.   >ronin and Dareth relay what they learned.   >kai sitting in the bounty looking disheveled   >'Human pinata makes the kids happy'. Horrifying.   >story about how the bad guy was dispersed after 'other beings' landed on the island and taught he locals the importance of peace and not war or whatever. It was probably some Oni and dragons chillin.   >Cole: oh! I mean we have two 'other beings' and those are the dragons, but they seem really angry and territorial   >Kai: maybe they want something and just haven't gotten it? ((Id have to mention one of the festivals known as the 'laughing dragon' festival or whatever but it's fallen into obscurity due to the dragons not being happy. Mention that sometime during episode 3))   >investigation time part 3.   >learn that there's a fruit that the dragons like, but the recipee was lost on how to make the disk for them   >well gang, time to get cooking! thank goodness Zane is on our-   >just kidding Zane and Nya are gone now because they got too angry at each other and went to 'get space' but they're probably at the temple now.

Episode 8 - Gotta do the cookin by the book!   >the ingredients are gathered.   >Dareth insists that they used a very speicific brand of exctact.   >Cole has no idea how to cook well   >Kai starts putting things together.   >Cole: when did you learn to cook?   >Kai: Well I had to take care of my sister buutt.. I dunno I think being the master of fire, cooking comes easy. ;)   >Cole: if there's any way I can help just let me know.   >kai: oh, yeah, bust open those things.   >Cole literally smashes open the fruit sending bits everywhere   >good ol happy comedic moment.   >first try   >Cole: . looks. uh. strange.   >Ronin: I am afraid to taste it.   >Dareth: oh I'm sure it can’t be- -face scrunch-   >Kai: <:)   >Dareth: well... episode 9 - after the 5th attempt it's much more palatable so they make a larger batch and stick it in a boat all fancied up and now have to deliver it   >oh god angry people   >why are they looking at us hhh   >fite   >Kai: we legit cannot let any of this spill otherwise I'm going to scream.   >only way to get it away from the people is to go by ocean   >Ronin: we'll do what we can but you gotta do this kai. You're tough.   >kai: ahaha I still don't like water but!   >boat on water   >gets to the part outside of the gate   >oddly silent.   >kai proceeds to put it on the beach and starts calling out for the dragons and starts making noise or whatever. "im gonna kick your sand! haha! what are you going to do about it??'   >Dragons emerge, ready to fight   >sees the offering. Kai: it's okay it's okay, this is for you.   >backs away from the boat   >lets the dragons have it.   >the smaller one is curious about him and approaches him after   >good ol’ kai dragon interaction. yay confidence!

Episode 10 - wow I sure do hate this sorting plant by now, thinks Ronin ninjago.   >tossed in the sorting plant Cole: this isn't too bad. Dareth: yeah I thought we were going to be burned by the stake, haha! Ronin: oh you'll hate it soon enough.   >Dareth and cole exchange glances. Cole: oh I know, how about we do a song, get a beat going? I'm sure kai has things under control! Dareth: good idea! Keep the spirits high, huh?   >Olive informs that the offering made it out into the ocean   >bad guy says 'no fear the ocean probably will swallow it', both unaware that kai was on the boat.   >temple is nearing completion.   >the angry ninja attempt yet again, to try to make a plan to stop him.   >everyone has a different idea   >they don't work together and go do their own plans.   >lloyd tries to go after him directly   >jay attempts to use his powers to get the workers to stop and go after him   >nya yells at jay   >Zane attempts to take out Olive, with mild success, kicks her out of the temple.   >olive decides to visit in on the captives   >glares at Dareth   >Dareth proceeds to apologize profusely   >Olive is stunned and snaps out of it, sorta. moment of clarity   >apologizes for stopping their plan about the dragons. gives more detail about the situation inside the temple before getting ready to head back.   >ronin. heckin. kidnaps her w/e He wants answers, and also doesn't want her relaying the information she gathered back to the bad guy. Dareth: oh my GOD did you KILL her?? Ronin: :B no messengers.

Episode 11 - The dragons fly overhead and do their little dance and show and yaay, the people are happy!   >people working on the temple stop and notice in awe and decide to go outside to have a look.   >bad guy takes notice and a n g r y, number of the workers stop and go enjoy the show. Some even going to their work areas and getting snacks and things like a festival. Bad guy: where is my messenger?! How did this happen?! steppin out. that's it, I'll deal with this personally.   >bad guy stands on his temple top whatever. Starts blasting fire balls.   >kai ninjago shooting fireballs back to deflect Locals: wow firework show!   >even more stop their progress.   >lloyd notices   >the rest of the ninja notice. lloyd: woah kai ninjago..! Nya: I don't know how long he can last doing that.. Zane: the power comes from the temple.. Jay: so we have to sink the temple!   >sink time   >as the temple starts to submerge again the fire balls become weaker   >bad guy adverts his attention to the ninja and decide to try to take them out   >Kai ninjago shows up and they have a fire bending battle not ripped from avatar at all Jay: kai you gotta get outta there the temple is collapsing! Kai: I will give me a minute!   >This is sparta kicks the dude into the portal thingy lava(?) and gets the heck outta there before everything falls in again.   >yaay, we won!   >mini celebration that's more like we gotta recover

Episode 12 - partially filler episode? w/e   >actual festival held   >good ol relaxing for real this time.   >Dareth: that was fun!   >Ronin: so much for a vacation, seems like trouble is always following you around.   >Dareth: thank god I have you to protect me from it all, huh?   >Ronin: wow gay   >Dareth: also why did you run late?   >Ronin: weeeeeell... that's a long story. FLUFF :   i love fluff. Theoretically- I am not good at writing fluff? at least i dont think i am. I kind of don’t know what to do with myself when it comes to fluff like . oh yay! we’re happy! ....what now. but i do like reading other peoples fluff a lot!

ANGST :   I have been known to be a God of Angst if you will. now THERE is my peanut butter jelly jam baby! I could write angst for days, and it would take an EXTRAORDINARY amount of angst to actually make me bored or tired or whatever. I know I write good angst and its something I take pride in!

SMUT :   ahahahhahahahahah yeah. I do like writing smut. Quite a lot actually. Reading it too- It has all the joy of fluff but with drive yknow? The passion is going.. somewhere! and it is a perfect tool for angst too! Or just gettin straight up down and dirty, quickies in the backroom or one night stands. Smut is just fun and so versatile in how you can use it. It’s part of why i like angel so much! since he just genuinely enjoys sex, but I am a bit hesitant to write smut with strangers, especially if we havent written together before.

Sweetie, Let's Ride: Chapter 1: Just an Ordinary day.

Hey everyone, I decided to make a fic based off of a little fact I had for Lady winter and Conductor. It’s going to be a chapter fic, I never did this before as i’m trying to step outside my comfort zone, So uhh I hope you all enjoy it! it’s going to take a bit for updates as i’m not sure how long the fic will be but uh ye.

Summary: Hat kid decides to visit her vampire auntie, Lady winter. Of course it’s not just a simple visit. The hatted child must take her to dead bird studio to take part of Conductors and Dj Grooves new collab film!

Lady winter was enjoying her day off by relaxing in the rose gardens she has. Having a little table set up with what looks to be a bottle of wine and a half filled wine glass set to the side. The vampire takes a deep breath of the fresh air that surrounds her, the scent of the many colorful roses fill the air. 

“Ah what's a better way to relax than this?” winter thought to herself. She picks up the wine glass having a little drink or two. She of course doesn’t want to get drunk so the lass is doing her best to be careful on how much she drinks. The vampire looks around at the many roses until she hears what sounds a lot like tiny footsteps head towards her. Her ears perking up, then turning her head in the direction the noise. There she sees none other than a child, with a purple top hat and a yellow cape, she couldn’t help but smile at the familiar face.

“Oh hello again dearie!~ It’s good to see you again” the vampire greeted the child. Hat kid giggled waving at the woman.

“Hiya miss winter!!” hat kid greeted then asked her “How are you?!”

Lady winter couldn't help but chuckle at the child's excitement in her voice. “Well i’m doin’ well dearie, what about you hm?” she said with a slight curiosity in her voice. The hatted looked like she was going to answer the vampire until she looked like she was forgetting to say something. So she stood there, rocking on her heels with an expression on her face that shows the gears in her brain are turning. Lady winter doesn’t rush the child so instead she takes another sip from her wine glass and waits patiently for the child to answer her question. Of course that is when hat kid’s face lit up, what is this kid up to?

“I’m doing great miss winter!” she exclaimed “I just got a really cool role for a movie conductor and dj grooves are working on together!” 

Lady winter looks at the child with a confused look on her face. Hat kid seeing her muddled expression, she realized she forgot to tell lady winter something. 

“OH!! Oops sorry miss winter, Your husband told me to see it a surprise...but uhh I guess I should tell you.” the child laughed nervously.

“Tell me what dearie?” winter asked. 

Hat kid fiddles with her hands before saying “Well...you see, mr conductor and dj grooves are working together for this movie! It’s going to be a musical western!!” she pauses for a moment before continuing to speak “Mr conductor was going to ask you to err play a role in the film.” 

The vampire lass was pretty shocked to hear all of this. It’s not like her dear husband to work with his rival. She wonders if there is a catch to all of this, I mean really she’s heard his rants on how much he dislikes his rival and even see the two get into it before she has to take the conductor away to calm down. Nevertheless she wouldn’t be surprised for him to ask her to play a part in one of his movies. She’s played roles before, either as The Villain, The Love interest, And sometimes The Hero of the film. The vampire has a lot of fun working alongside her husband for these films, whether it be acting, helping out with the writing or even helping him direct the film. It’s a lot of fun despite the potential dangers here and there. He needs to be more careful when filming but of course she knows her ducty is always known to take a lot of risks. 

“Well, The movie does sound like fun but...is there a reason why my hubby is workin’ with Dj Grooves?” she asks “I mean it’s nice that they are getting along, but it seems a little out of character for him.” the lass added.

The little girl giggled “It’s for the annual bird movie award auntie! This year there's a little event where there has to be a collab film, I don’t know why but it’s what the directors told me.” 

“So I see” Lady winter responded. She puts her drink down onto the table then proceeds to stand up. Hat kid walks over to the vampire taking her hand. 

“Auntie, Let’s head over to Dead Bird Studio!! Besides conductor can give you your role and you get to see the set! It’s really cool looking.” the child exclaimed.

Lady winter looks down at the little girl and smiles. Oh how can she say no to that? Seeing the child happy made her happy, so without further ado she picks up her umbrella, opening it to protect herself from the sun's harsh rays. 

“Well let’s get goin’, I’d love to see what’s happenin over there” she chuckled. Hat kid only smiles leading the vampire out of the rose gardens, passing the colorful roses, there was many colors. Red roses, Blue roses, Purple Roses, Black Roses, Yellow Roses, you name it, the type of rose is there. Hat kid always enjoyed seeing the pretty roses lady winter has, it makes her feel happy seeing all the colors. And the smell? Oh so fresh and relaxing, especially on rainy and clear sunny days. Perhaps later hat kid can ask the vampire lady if she can hang out and explore the gardens for a while. 

Of course the two made it out of the rather large gardens into a clearing. This clearing was in front of the old Pentecost manor. The hatted girl pulls out a strange object from her pocket and tosses it onto the ground. Lady winter watches although a little surprised she doesn’t question it. Suddenly the object opens up in the shape of a large disc. Hat kid steps onto it. Lady winter is a little hesitant but steps onto it alongside hat kid. Surely this isn’t something bad right? The child can sense lady winter’s nervousness 

“Don’t worry miss winter, This is just a warp pad that takes us to the spaceship! I use it all the time to get back to the hub.” she explained. Lady winter didn’t say a word but she did nod in response to the child, She feels better knowing what it is now. 

Suddenly there was a bright light and the next thing Lady winter knew she was onto the ship. 

“Welcome to my spaceship auntie!!” hat kid spoke hopping off the little pad. The Lady followed her, looking at her surroundings, she couldn’t believe what she is seeing with her own two eyes. This place was massive, How can a child own something like this? 

“Woah, this is amazing” winter said in awe. She can head hat kid giggle a bit then the sound what seems to be buttons being pushed. The vampire turns her head in the direction of the noise.

“I know we could’ve taken the train or something but...I think it’s much faster if we teleport to the studio!” hat kid said looking quite focused on what she’s doing. 

“Teleport? Well, I’ve never done that before but I trust you dearie” lady winter spoke as she walked over to stand next to hat kid. She stops when she spots something moving around on the floor. It appeared to be a roomba. 

“OH! I didn’t know you had a roomba!” she exclaimed. Looking at the roomba doing normal roomba things, Lady winter herself never had one but she has heard and seen them. The little roomba bumped into what seems like a burger cushion, letting out a tiny cry. 

“Oh dear…are you alright?” she asked the roomba. She can’t believe she asked a roomba if it was ok but hey roomba or not it has feelings to!

Hat kid looks over her shoulder, “Oh rumbi? They should be fine auntie, They bump into stuff all the time.”

“Really now?” the vampire asked. 

“Yup! All the time, rumbi is strong of course.” the child replied. 

Lady winter thought it was quite cute that she named the roomba Rumbi, but at least the roomba is strong right? Lady winter decided to walk around the main hub for a bit while she waits for hat kid to finish up, well whatever it is she is doing. Lady winter has a lot of patience so she can take all the time she needs. The lass notices that across from the burger cushion there appears to be some kind of train set running. So the vampire decides to check it out. Walking over to the train set she notices that it kinda looks like her husbands train. Ah yes the good ol Owl Express. Winter watches it run on it’s tracks, hearing the tiniest click clacks on the tiny little tracks. She couldn’t help but smile and think how cute it is. It kinda reminds her how her dad and husband collected toy train models. It was kinda nice. 

After a while of watching the little choo choo train hat kid broke the silence by shouting “FINALLY!!” of course this caused the vampire to jump in surprise and clutch her umbrella, she wasn’t expecting her to yell like that. 

Hat kid looks over to lady winter seeing the surprised look on her face. “Oh uhh...sorry to scare you auntie but I got the coordinates to Dead Bird Studio” she spoke quieter than when she shouted. 

“Oh no no it’s quite alright dearie” Lady winter said “Though, I’m going to assume that we are going to be teleported there right? Like with the warp pad thingie?” she added 

Hat kid nodded and heads over to another pad, stepping onto it gesturing for lady winter to stand next to her. Of course lady winter walked over and stood next to hat kid. She knows what she is doing after all. Again a bright light appears within lady winter’s vision, the next thing she knows she’s standing right outside dead bird studio. The vampire looked around seeing the parking lot, The heat is almost unbearable and she can see the desert going on for miles and miles. Yup this was Dead Bird Studio alright. The vampire lass looks at the studio for a moment until she felt something tug her dress. She looks down seeing hat kid trying to get her attention. 

“Come on, let's head inside!” Hat kid said cheerfully. Before lady winter can utter a word she can feel the child takes her hand and head inside the studio. 

“This is going to be very interesting” the vampire thought to herself. And she might just be right about that.

What Are You  Feeling? ~ Irumatsu - Femslash Feb

a.n it’s femslash feb and you bet your ass that this worthless gay would write some epic lesbos. im still finalizing the ship list, but in the meantime, enjoy my favorite wlw ship in the entire dr franchise as a starter ;)

Sometimes all you need is a little push. We can miss out on events that can drastically alter our future, just by not taking action. However, it does not always begin as something that seems life-changing. The beginning, no matter how small it may seem at first, always is the catalyst for something new.

“You can go on ahead, Shuichi! Let me just finish eating first.”

“A-Alright. Call me if you need anything.”

After some hesitation, Shuichi left the dining hall, waving at Kaede who started waving back and watched as he left the area. She looked back around the hall and spotted that the dining area was nearly empty, save from one Miu Iruma, Ultimate Inventor. She averted her eyes away from her meal, and onto the other blonde female. Kaede, being as observant as she his, noticed little nuances about Miu’s appearance that were hard to detect from only a simple glance.

Her hands were always covered with something: paint, oil, glue, you name it. Her eyes always seemed to perk up whenever she tested her inventions, almost like a child in a candy store. And the ever-constant look of exhaustion present on her face, especially her eyes since they almost always had bags under them.

Akamatsu can admit, she was concerned for Miu, more so than she usually is for her other classmates, except maybe Shuichi. Even though Iruma seemed to hate the pianists guts, there was this curiosity that she couldn’t shake off regarding the inventor.

This finally seemed like Kaede’s chance to get her questions answered about Iruma. She was not going to let this opportunity slip by.

She slapped one of her cheeks and got up to sit next to Miu, however, Miu was quick to notice and, before long, started laughing.

“Woa, Kaediot! I didn’t know you had a crush on me! You’re totally fucking thirsty!”

“What the hell gave you that idea?”

“E-Eeee! I-I just noticed t-that you were looking at me, a-and…”

Miu’s demeanor changed in what seemed like a millisecond. The girl was now trembling as tears threatened to escape her eyes. Kaede immediately regretted her actions as she rushed over to Miu to apologise.

“S-Shit! Miu! I-I didn’t mean to upset you! I-I’m sorry!”

“What the fuck, Bakamatsu! Y-You think I’m going to forgive you just like that?”

“N-No, but I-”

“I don’t need apologies from s-some t-trashy skank who always keeps her boytoy on a leash!”

This was going to be harder than first anticipated, Akamatsu thought. Miu’s personality was a little too much for Kaede, and now, it was definitely going to be a bigger challenge. However, she took in a deep breath and decided to avoid being direct for now and make due with what she can now at the moment.

“A-anyway… How’s you day been so far?”

“What?! You’re not even going to respond?!”

Kaede sighed and closed her eyes. She figured Miu hated being ignored and would respond eventually. The hall was completely silent for a few seconds, before Kaede’s hypothesis was proven correct. Iruma broke the silence, however, her voice was much less aggressive and Akamatsu could swear she heard fear in the girl’s voice.

“I-It’s been alright…Didn’t really get a lot of sleep last night though. This fucking invention kept fucking up and I ended up having to go to the warehouse to get extra supplies.”

“Ah! Were you the one we saw at the warehouse yesterday then?”

Akamatsu recalled in her memory that when her and Shuichi were exploring the academy, they saw a figure near the warehouse entrance, seemingly snooping around quite stealthy. At least, until Kaede caught a glimpse.

“I-I uhm…”

Miu’s face became even paler as she was starting to fidget with her fingers. If she seemed terrified a minute ago, now she looks like she's a death row inmate who has to speak her final words.

“M-Miu! T-That was really dangerous! What if someone tried to attack you?”

“E-Ehh…?! P-Pfft… I'd just a-attack them back…!”

“Yeah, right! M-Miu… You could have actually gotten yourself seriously hurt. Everyone is incredibly tense right now and who knows what would have happened if someone walking by became incredibly suspicious.”

“You're not my fucking mom, you whore! I-I could have handled myself easy!”

Kaede, once again, closed her eyes. The intent, this time, was different. She couldn't make heads or tails about Miu's behavior. No matter how much she tried to figure the girl out, she would completely flip flop her personality to one that was more overwhelming than the last.

…

No! She was going to try and get closer to Miu, no matter how hard she has to try. If she wants to escape this academy, then she needs to get everyone on board.

With new found confidence, Akamatsu opened her eyes with a fire in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around the inventor, holding her in an embrace. Needless to say, Iruma was a tad concerned.

“A whore? Me? Hah, nice try!”

“W-What the fuck, Bakamatsu…! L-Let go of me, you fucking-- u-uhh…”

“Lesbian? I know!”

“What the hell are you trying to pull…?! Are you coming onto me or what?”

“Nah. I just wanted to ask you a question and I didn't know how else to get your attention.”

“If you wanted to ask me a fucking question, why didn't you say so earlier?!”

“Because I didn't know if you'd even talk to me.”

“W-Whatever… Let go of me and then I'll answer whatever the fuck you wanted to ask me.”

This was Kaede's chance. This one question.

((“Don't blow it, Akamatsu… Let's get our answers!”))

Kaede took in a deep breath and spoke with a shaky voice, trying to formulate the question in a way that wouldn't potentially hurt Miu.

“I-I was just wondering w-why you don't sleep that much…? L-Like I know you work on your inventions, but is there some other reason…?”

She was expecting a comeback. Or some kind of insult. Instead, Miu’s face dimmed as she sharply inhaled and folded her hands as she looked at Akamatsu and answered, her voice completely stern and serious.

“I don't know why you care so much, Kaediot. But, it's nightmares.”

“N-Nightmares…?”

“I want to get out of here, y'know. And with the threat of being killed… W-Who the fuck wouldn't be d-desperate?!”

“M-Miu…”

“You have your little dog to follow you around all the damn time while I got no one. I'm used to it honestly. But it sure fucking sucks, doesn't it?”

“M-Miu… I had no idea.”

“Nobody does. I mean, I still don't know how you can trust an-”

“If you want, we can try to become friends and escape this place together.”

“K-Kaediot…”

“I can tell you're scared and I feel bad for not noticing until now. But, I promise I can stay by your side as long as want! And we'll escape this place, all of us! Together!”

“Y-You won't leave me, right?”

“Mhm, nope! I believe in you, Miu! I believe that you're an amazing person and you definitely deserve to escape! So, I'll stay by your side. With me, with Shuichi, with everyone!”

“H-How can you be so sure?! W-What if you-?”

“I promise nothing bad will happen to me, Miu. And I won't let anything bad happen to you! S-So, what do you say?”

“You're too goddamn naive for your own good, Kaede. B-But fine, if it makes you feel safe, I guess I could go along with it.”

“That's all I needed to hear!”

The two girls started to talk about the things they'd do after escaping the academy. Their hopes and aspirations. And Miu seemed to enjoy herself for once.

She was happy.

She fell asleep easy tonight, for the first time in what seemed like eternity.
