I love this so much I'm so glad Raiku isn't going for the conventionally cool design route for all the characters' older versions. Kyanchome looks like a fuckin dweeb and Momon looks like an absolute dumbass. I adore this. And I think the fancy clothes unironically work for him

it is difficult to talk abt konjiki no gash bell because when i read it as a pup it was the english manga & everyone's names were changed just a little to be more evocative of englishy words, so gash became zatch cus he zaps people. however, that translation was cancelled, so if anyone's gonna be reading the whole thing these days it'll be with non-localized fan translations, and because of this i think i should just use the names that my viewers will find there. it's a little disappointing cus the localized names are pretty clever, umagon (horse monster) becoming ponygon (pony that kiyo wanted gone) etc

So something that's been on my mind since the latest chapter, how would Umagons spells work for someone else?

Like... do they just get the armor transformations in a way that fits their body anatomy, or... do they turn into a horse creature when they cast his spells... I, I need to know,,,
