Dying in the Sun (Jon de Burgh Miller) "Synopsis: "It was the city of angels, and the angels were screaming…
Los Angeles, 1947: multi-millionaire movie producer Harold Reitman has been murdered and the LAPD are convinced that drug dealer Robert Chate is the killer. Detective William Fletcher isn't so sure — he believes that the man who calls himself the Doctor has a stronger connection to the crime than he's letting on.
While the Doctor assists the police with their enquiries, Star Light Pictures are preparing to release their most eagerly anticipated movie yet, Dying in the Sun, a film that rumours say will change the motion-picture industry for ever. Suspecting that the film holds secrets more terrifying then anyone could ever have imagined, the Doctor decides to do everything in his power to stop it from being released. In Hollywood, however, it is the movie studios that hold all the power… "
Why it's Web: Well, we already know that TV and film are pretty Web-aligned (Lagorio, that one line from Annabelle), so that's a start. The villains of the series create film stars by chemically enhancing their charisma to the point where they can hypnotize people into doing unspeakable things just by asking them -- but the stars, in turn, are under the sway of their alien masters. It's a pretty good metaphor for Hollywood, and a pretty good plot for the Web."
Come Closer (Sara Gran) "A recurrent, unidentifiable noise in her apartment. A memo to her boss that's replaced by obscene insults. Jusik wiped his forehead with his palm and looked as breathless and battered as he ever had after performing the Dha Werda. Fi could have sworn he looked just as elated, too.    "Family of Garqian tourists with a Gran driver," the Jedi said. "Now let's try to explain this to you-know-who without getting our heads ripped off." He opened his comlink. "Returning with a prisoner, Kal ."    Sev grumbled in his throat. "Never use real names."    "Least of our worries now," Fi said.    So Jusik was scared of Skirata, too. It was supposed to be a quiet ohs job, as he'd put it, observation duty; it had turned into kidnapping and blowing up unidentified vessels. Scared wasn't the right word, though.    He'll be disappointed with us. We let him down.    Fi, like anyone who came into Skirata's circle, desperately wanted Kal'buir to be proud of him. It was more effective motivation than fear any day.

How To Do The Flowers, Ruth Van Beek
Apon looking at books for inspiration, I stumbled across this book by Ruth Van Beek. It struck me as the book had no writing, apart from the front page.
I looked through the book and noticed a beautiful collection of images, all placed in different sections of the page but unseemingly consistent. The images range from jewellery, hands, feet, food and more. I found it difficult to realise what exactly the author was showing so I started to research her and the books context.
"Ruth van Beek (b. 1977) uses the established visual codes of photography - a shadow, pedestal, dark backdrop, or gesture - to guide viewers into a belief in the incredible rarity or importance of the shown object, even when that object is unidentifiable. From a growing archive of found photographic material, van Beek arranges images in constantly changing ways."
Knowing who she is as an artist, I was then able to have a more rounded view of her book and what it means to her and therefor the viewer. Its nice that published an article on their website which speaks about the book and from there I was able to find out more context.
Ruth van Beek started with her archive of imagery and experimented with collaging or pairing photographs to experiment with the audience's perception of the book. 'For the artist, she actually considers it “like a greenhouse,” she tells It’s Nice That “where I experiment with growing all sorts of stories of characters”'. She organises her images in a personal way, by placing them in ways in 'seem important to me [her] at this time...sometimes these are abstract constructions, sometimes they remind me of things happening in real life'.
This book, for me, is very abstract. Her thought process and rational behind the meaning of the book is very personal but still allows the reader to gain something from it. In this case, the reader would probably ask questions about what message the author is trying to convey but also what the images mean to them.
Visually, this book is interesting in the way the images are formatted. And the fact that there are no words allows the viewer to take whatever they wish from the book. Taking this concept, I could create something similar to this in which I lay all of my item photography out in a certain order which is significant to me and my Grans death, with the pictures becoming clearer by the end of the book to the context of me showing her life.

Datho-Zabraki Headcaons!
They are obligatory carnivores. They need a lotta meat and fat, I’d like to think they have like this little fat pot in their kitchen that’s very important and useful in their cooking. That pot is like the heart of the kitchen and provides extra nourishment to meals, and when a family member moves into a new home for the first time it is custom to give a fat pot with a starter from the family pot.
Cubs are very eager to get into the pot!! So keeping a lock or lid on it is very key. Lest naughty cubs putting their little mits in and be CAUGHT RED HANDED IN THE FAT POT!!

Practically Magic
Chapter Three: Broom Fell
Tumblr media
Summary: Growing up in the same tiny mountain town, Y/N Owens and Dean Winchester despised each other. The only thing they ever agreed on was their need to escape. Life took them in opposite directions and neither of them ever looked back. So, when their paths cross over a series of gruesome murders in their hometown it was no surprise that old friction heated up again.
Dean never dreamed he’d be teaming up with a psychic, the FBI frowned on that sort of thing, but he was desperate. When that psychic turned out to be Y/N Owens, Dean knew two things for sure. One, Y/N was the real deal and two, he was in real trouble.
Pairing: Agent!Dean x Psychic!Reader, Dean x Reader, AU Dean x You Characters: Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, John Winchester, Bobby Singer
Warnings: Slow Burn, Serial Killer Elements, Witches, Haters to Lovers, Claustrophobic Elements, Murder Scenes
Author’s Notes: This is an AU taking elements from the film Practical Magic and applying them to a fictional world where Dean Winchester is an FBI Agent. You will find parallels from that movie here, some quotes and other elements that capture the essence of the world of the Owens Witches. Hopefully! Additional Author's Notes: This is a unique reader insert story as I have given the reader a physical description including hair color, eye color and body type. Chapter Three: Broom Fell Word Count: 4462
“Broom fell, company’s coming.” - Aunt Jet Owens, Practical Magic
The trick or treat themed event turned deadly when the body of an unidentified woman was discovered by party-goers last Saturday night. Witnesses say that the victim appeared to be frozen and dressed as a bride, making this the third in the series of gristly murders in the Silverton area. Officials have yet to say if this is linked to the murders of Amber McDowell and Sierra Thompson earlier this month but advise all citizens to exercise caution and contact law enforcement immediately if they witness anything suspicious.
You snapped shut your laptop and dropped your head down on the table with a thud and a groan.
“I told you not to watch any more of those talking heads!” Viv called from the great room. “You’re only torturing yourself.”
“I can’t just ignore it, Gran. It happened at my event; I was responsible for bringing everyone together. I agreed to hold it on Samhain.”
“You weren’t the only one who agreed. The whole Owens family was there, if it could have been predicted, it would have been.”
“I should have known. I’m the seer. This is on me.”
“No one can see everything, not even you.” Viv came up behind you and laid a hand on your head. A calming gesture from your childhood, God knows this wasn’t the first time she’d comforted you after something terrible happened.
“Some things are fated, Y/N. Even terrible things.”
“This sucks.”
“True, but obsessing won’t change it. Now quit pouting and come help me.”
You knew you were obsessing but you couldn’t help it and you certainly weren’t the only one. The whole town was buzzing. Every last member of the Owens clan had fled as soon as the authorities cleared them of any involvement. Donna left too, back to Hollywood to do damage control and salvage the dwindling movie interest. There was a group of your more obsessive fans who seemed thrilled at the real-life macabre element. They extended their stay for a month and turned up everywhere. Yesterday, your gran found three of them in the neighbor’s yard with binoculars. She sent them packing with a banishment spell and a visit from Bobby Singer.
The Victorian great room, usually used to receive and entertain guests was filled with a dozen refrigerator sized shipping crates. You swore one of them growled at you as you followed your grandmother through the maze of boxes.
“What the hell is in all these containers?”
“Oh, this and that,” the elder witch replied, digging through her desk drawers for one of her empty ledgers.
“One of them is moving.”
She handed you a crowbar with a smug smile, “Better open that one first.”
Three hours and six boxes later, you were up to your waist in new inventory for the Compendium. Vivienne Owens was meticulous about cataloging everything. Her store may look like organized chaos, but it was far from it. There was a place for everything and everything in its place.
It’s business, darling girl. Details matter when there’s money to be made.
Then it hit you, catching you off guard. Your body reacted a second before you were aware of the reason behind it. You should be used to it by now. After all, you’d been born to the gift. But it was always so much stronger at home. You wondered if it were the mountains that gave you the strength, like coming back to the source of that power somehow charged you up. Turning the more muted tones of the world to bright technicolor. Either way, it was intense.
The familiar brush of ancient knowledge tugged at you, sending a shiver down your spine. You felt your heartbeat slow and your pupils grew wide. The world expanded and contracted, and the power came through you on a breath. Inhale. Exhale.
Your grandmother felt it too and when she locked eyes with you, something clattered to the floor in the kitchen.
“Broom fell,” you intoned, unblinking. “Company’s coming.”
As the words left your mouth there was a strong knock at the front door, followed by the doorbell. Gran put a steady hand on your shoulder and rose to answer it. The look on her ageless face when she opened the door said she was not pleased by the visitor on her doorstep.
“Samuel Winchester. Here to have your future told?”
Sam took off his hat and held it in front of him. His father raised both boys to have old school manners and Sam found them especially useful when interacting with the older members of the community. “No thanks, Viv. I’m here on official business.”
Viv crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow, “As am I. Not that I have much choice since you boys have denied me access to my own shop. I’ll be out of business in a month at this rate.”
“It was location of a murder.”
“It was the location of a body; the murder took place elsewhere.”
“Do you have something to confess, Ms. Owens?” Sam mildly returned.
“Don’t tempt me, Samuel.”
“As a matter of fact, I am here to inform you that the Silverton sheriff’s department has completed its investigation of the Compendium and is releasing it back to you. You may resume all normal activities therein.”
“Ah.”
He smiled that charming, lopsided smile he retained from boyhood, “I would like to personally extend my gratitude for your generous cooperation.”
Your gran always thought Sam was a cutie. Such a lovely young lad! Her irritation vanished and she waved her hand dismissively. “Happy to help, any time. You know that.”
“Thank you again,” Sam said, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. “Is Y/N around, by chance? I need to talk to her.”
Viv chuckled then and gave Sam’s cheek a fond tap, “Still the bashful boy.”
“Y/N!” She called over her shoulder, “Company!”
“Hey,” he nodded to you when you quietly appeared in the doorway beside your grandmother. “Got a minute?”
Viv disappeared back into the house, and you stepped out to join Sam on the porch. It was colder than it had been the night of the party. Bitter. Your breath came out in white puffs, but you refused to put on your coat. Why be comfortable? This was going to be an uncomfortable conversation, and you didn’t need to be psychic to know it.
You wrapped your arms around your middle, your hands cupping your elbows. You recalled countless times in your youth when Sam would turn up at your house. The two of you would run off in search of mysteries and adventures. Chasing each other through the wooded mountainside, exploring all the hidden places that only children seem to know. How simple things had been back then.
You gave him a wan smile, your eyes finally meeting his shadowed ones. There was a heaviness about him, a weight. The badge he wore with pride now hung like a millstone around his neck.
How did we get so old?
“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this.”
“The uniform?” he guessed.
“You, like this. I’ve never seen you so serious.”
“No, probably not.” He took a few steps and leaned on one of the thick, stone pillars that held up the porch roof. “I need your help.”
You tilted your head in confusion, “I gave Bobby my statement from that night, was there something I missed?”
“No, it’s not that.”
An image flashed into your mind. Brief but horrific and harsh enough to take your breath away. “Oh, God.”
You knew. You always knew, that was why he came to you. It had been that way ever since you were children and he needed to tap into that connection now. Before it was too late.
“Y/N.”
“There’s been another murder,” you breathed, almost afraid to say the words aloud.
He nodded; his expression grim. “Discovered this morning.”
“Why are you here, Sam?”
“Because I’m desperate,” he stated wearily. “Whoever this guy is, he’s like a ghost. He doesn’t leave a trace. I’ve been working with the FBI for weeks on this and all I’ve got to show for it are a lot of dead ends and more bodies. I need an edge. I need you, your gift.”
Your eyes widened at the implication, “You can’t be serious. I don’t know the first thing about tracking a serial killer!”
“I know, I know it’s a lot to ask. Too much to ask. I know you’ve never done anything like this. All I’m asking is that you come take a look. See if you pick up anything.”
“Pick up what exactly?”
“I don’t know. Maybe you’ll see a face or vehicle. A location.” Sam’s hazel eyes were earnest. “Please, anything. I’ll take anything.”
“Sam, it doesn’t work like that.”
“Please. Y/N/N, please. I’ve seen you do impossible things over the years; I know you’ve got it in you. You always have.”
Sensing your resolve wavering, he pulled out a small item from his pocket and held it out to you. It looked so much smaller than you remembered. Probably because the hand it was held in belonged to a full-grown man, not an adolescent.
“We were friends once. If that means anything to you. Please.” He took your hand and placed the treasure in your palm, “For old times’ sake.”
The arrowhead. You shouldn’t be surprised he’d kept it. Sammy always was the sentimental type. You ran your thumb over the edge and found it still sharp. As were the memories that went with it.
“We’re still friends.”
September 5, 2001
“Sam, are you sure about this?”
“This is the place,” Sam said, pulling his compass from his pocket. “All three settlement documents mark this as the first structure in Silverton.”
You looked around the clearing and frowned. The air was still, no bird song or crickets. But it wasn’t as if the place was empty. Although you couldn’t see them, you could feel them. The eyes on you, watching, waiting. Spirits just on the other side of the veil. The mountains were filled with them.
“The first white structure,” you corrected him. “You know there were all kinds of native people here before Silverton even existed.”
“True, but we don’t have any information on them. Plus, the settlement of the town is the assignment.” Sam pointed out, digging in his backpack for his notebook. “You hungry? I brought granola bars.”
“No thanks.”
“Come on, Y/N. We’re going to be out here a while. Keep your energy up and stay hydrated, number one rules of wilderness survival.”
You reluctantly took the bar from his hand if only to make him happy. “It’s not really wilderness, we’re less than two miles from my house.”
“Still counts,” Sam informed you with authority. “Dean says lack of preparedness is arrogance wrapped in stupidity.”
“Dean says.” You snorted and sat down on a moss-covered boulder, “Your brother needs to read something other than Cold War bunker pamphlets. It’s making him paranoid.”
Sam idolized his big brother and instantly jumped to his defense, “He’s educating himself, and me. There is nothing wrong with taking a few precautions.”
“Yeah? And what about that weird, Unabomber beard he’s been growing? He looks like he lives under a bridge.”
“Oh, he’s got a few tips for living under a bridge.”
“Shut up,” you laughed.
Sam watched as you took a tiny nibble out of the corner of the granola bar and fold the wrapper back over it to put it away for later. It reminded him of why he’d chose this assignment with you as his partner. He knew the bullying and ridicule you faced every day. Taking you out into nature and away from them seemed the best way to protect you.
“You know those girls were just bitches.”
“Doesn’t make them wrong.”
“They’re both.” Sam said with conviction, “They’re bitches and they’re wrong.”
“I broke through the bleachers, and they called me a fat freak,” your eyes burned with unshed tears at the memory. You still felt the humiliation and shame so acutely that you wondered if it would ever go away.
“It wasn’t nice, but it was true.”
“Those bleachers are like a hundred years old; the wood is rotted. Anybody stepping there would have gone through. My uncle Bobby says it’s a hazard and they are replacing the whole thing in the spring.”
You kicked a pebble with the scuffed toe of your sneaker. Sam had a point, but it didn’t take the sting away. You hated the way you looked. While other girls were starting to hit growth spirts, your frame remained stubbornly short and pudgy. Your classmates never missed an opportunity to point it out. Usually with a cruel twist.
“They’re jealous because you’re smart and funny and awesome. That’s the only reason they say that stuff. You’re special, Y/N. And everybody knows it.”
You sniffled and looked up at your best friend, finding only honesty in his hazel eyes. “Thanks Sammy. You’re special too, and I’m not the only one who thinks so.”
He tilted his head and you smiled knowingly, “Jessie Moore thinks you’re pretty special.”
Sam’s ears turned bright red confirming that he still harbored a crush on the little blonde girl who sat in front of him in class. He cleared his throat and held out a hand to you. “Come on, we should get started before it starts to get dark.”
You let the subject drop as he hauled you to your feet. Sam, with his sweet nature and puppy dog eyes was a like a brother to you. He was always looking out for you. His friendship was steadfast and eased the loneliness of being an only child. And although you didn’t see him as crush material, many of the girls in your class did.
Maybe it was a Winchester thing, Dean was the same way. They were the hero type. They stood up against bullies, helped old ladies across the street, rescued kittens stuck in trees. No wonder they had the girls of Silverton pining after them.
It didn’t take Sam long to locate the foundation outline of the old trading post. A modest square of partially covered stones. The two of you took pictures and mapped it out, quickly completing the assignment. You were packing away the old polaroid camera you borrowed from Gran when Sam came jogging over from the tree line.
“Y/N, look what I found!”
In his mud caked fingers was an arrowhead. Surprisingly smooth, with still-sharpened edges. He dropped it in your hand, and you found it to be quite warm.
“Wow, this looks old. Like, really old.”
“I know!” He said excitedly, “It’s the real deal, it’s gotta be. Right?”
You nodded slowly as the hair on the back of your neck stood up. The odd, tingly feeling sent a shiver down your back. You looked back to the trees where Sam had just been and saw a figure emerge.
“Sam,” you whispered, “Look.”
He followed your line of sight. The figure was blurry at first, then seemed to come into focus. It was a boy, no older than you. Dressed in beaded buckskins, his hair was shiny black and held in a long braid. For a very long time the three of you all simply stared at each other. Curious children that you were. Two living, one long dead.
“What does he want?” asked Sam, his voice hushed.
You opened yourself, the way your Gran had taught you. Enough to hear but still protect yourself from potential harm. “The arrowhead, it belonged to him.”
“Does he want it back? Tell him I’m sorry, I didn’t mean…”
“It’s okay,” you say with a serene smile. “He’s the one who showed you where it was hidden. He wants you to have it.”
“Why?”
“Because you are like him. Brave and true. A warrior.”
“He was warrior?” Sam shook his head, unable to look away from the fascinating sight. “But he’s just a kid. Like us.”
“Maybe people are warriors in different ways.”
The native boy held up a hand to wave and the two of you mimicked the gesture. The wind picked up and he was gone.
You and Sam stayed where you were for a few minutes while the events of the afternoon sank in. After a time, you handed the arrowhead back to your friend who still looked a little shaken up.
“Hey, are you okay?”
Sam turned the treasure over in his hand, his brow furrowed. “I thought it would be scary, you know? Talking to ghosts. I was a little nervous, but excited too. Is it always like that?”
“Ghosts are just people. Some are scary, some aren’t. But in the end, they all want the same thing. They want to be seen, remembered.”
Sam nodded thoughtfully as a slow smile spread. “I’ll remember for sure. We both will.”
“I must be out of my damned mind,” you muttered to yourself as you quickly walked up the sidewalk to the tiny, yellow house.
You could feel the heaviness of death already and you hadn’t even reached the door. Everything in you screamed to leave, run and don’t stop. This was bad. Very, very bad. Premeditated evil. The whole property was saturated with it.
Your grandmother had been particularly opposed to your helping Sammy Winchester. No matter how soft she was on him, having her darling girl anywhere near that sort of thing had her spitting nails. In the end, she knew she couldn’t stop you. It was the calling, to not answer it was just as harmful. So, she relented and helped dress you in every measure of spiritual protection she knew. You wondered if it would be enough.
The clicking of your suede pumps on the wooden steps seemed especially loud. It was the cold, mountain air that amplified the sound. The contrast to the eerie silence of the crime scene nearly had you turning back. Steeling your resolve, you knocked three times on the door and shoved your hands back in the pockets of your violet peacoat.
Sam was waiting for you. He opened the door and held up the yellow tape that barricaded the entrance so you could duck underneath.
“Thanks for coming Y/N. I sent the rest of the guys back to the station, figured it was better for you to have it quiet.”
You stood frozen in the entryway as images flooded your mind. Snippets of everyday life. Trying to get the new couch in the door. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Painting the hallway. Watching movies. Wrapping birthday presents. A bicycle, glossy and bright red.
Your heart twisted. “She was a mother.”
He nodded, “A nine-year-old son. He’s staying with his grandparents in Denver.”
Sam handed you a set of disposable gloves and booties, reminding you not to disturb any potential evidence. He watched you slip off your shoes and winter coat. The loss of the heels made you even shorter compared to him and he felt suddenly very protective of his pseudo sister.
“Before you go in, I have to warn you. It’s not an easy thing to see.”
You slipped the booties on over your stockings, “I didn’t think it would be. It’s a dead body, Sam.”
“Yeah, but it’s not like the one from the party,” he cautioned. “She’s been here a while. Days possibly.”
You nodded and followed him to the living room before your imagination could run away with you completely. The body was laying in the middle of the room. Laid out similarly to the one from the Compendium. Not a mark on her that would indicate the cause of death. Flowers again, but no wedding dress. This woman was dressed in a 50’s style dress with a frilly apron tied around her waist, like Donna Reed. The perfect housewife. The makeup, the hair, the shoes. She was beautiful, even in death. But Sam was right, she wasn’t preserved like the other body. This one was kind of puffy, and the skin was turning colors from congealed blood that pooled in her veins.
Your feet suddenly squished into the carpet, and you noticed a ring of wetness radiating from around the body. “She was frozen too?”
Sam nodded, “Yeah. We’re thinking she was brought here already frozen and arranged, then left to be discovered. We won’t know for how long until the autopsy.”
“It was Samhain.”
“Halloween? Same night as the party?”
You closed your eyes and tried to focus, to bring more details to you, but they were a blur. Coming too fast to be deciphered. You heard a man’s voice, a woman’s scream. Pleading, begging to be spared. And something else… a wet, tearing sound. Like a boning knife cutting through a trout.
You put a trembling hand over your rolling stomach and took an unsteady breath. Your heartbeat thundered causing your blood to rush in your ears. Louder and louder, faster and faster until you were sure it was going to beat right out of your chest.
Sweat broke out over your skin while your blood ran cold. You could hear your ancestors calling, warning. Turn away! This was evil, as pure as it could get. And it wasn’t done, not by a long shot.
Suddenly, you heard Sam’s voice. He touched your shoulder, and your eyes flew open.
“What did you say?”
He kept a hold of you, concern written all over his face. “I asked if you were okay. You look a little pale.”
You weren’t sure how to answer and the figure that appeared in the arched doorway saved you from having to. “Dean.”
“I leave for a few minutes, and you give a civilian the five-cent tour.”
He was handsome, just like the night of the party. Time had been good to him, honed the beautiful features of his face. Sharpened the square jawline, deepened the crinkles that framed his eyes when he smiled. Although, you suspected he smiled all too rarely. He’d exchanged the tuxedo for a dark, blue suit and a matching wool overcoat with his FBI i.d. clipped to his lapel. And there was a harshness to him. You suspected he meant to project strength, but all you saw was hurt.
“I asked her to come have a look, see if she could pick up on something.”
“What the hell’s the matter with you? This is a murder scene not a side show attraction!”
“I’m aware of that,” Sam ground out through clenched teeth. “She isn’t going to disturb anything. And frankly, we need all the help we can get.”
“Help?!” Dean scoffed. “From one of the Addams’ family?”
That snapped you out of your rambling mind, your whole body flooded with white hot anger. After all this time, after everything the three of you went through! The nerve!
“Fuck you, Dean!” you spat.
He merely arched his brow, “No offense Sweetheart, but this is a murder investigation not a costume party. This is no place for one of your little shows.”
It came to you then, as you stared at Dean Winchester all grown up. It was the same thing you felt at the party. You mistook it for a childhood connection coming back, but it was more than that. It was something else. God, how could you be so blind?
“This isn’t my show, it’s yours.”
Sam recognized the slightly dilated look in your eyes, he’d seen it often when you were kids. It was a vision.
“Y/N,” he gently prompted.
“This whole thing is an encore, a special performance just for you.” You slowly paced the room; your eyes unblinking as you spoke in an eerie, detached voice.
“You are his obsession; he’s been watching you and that’s why he came here. To Silverton, to your home. This is his gift to you.”
“A gift,” Dean repeated, swallowing the sickening dread. “A gift from who?”
The vison ended then, as quickly as it started. You rubbed the heel of your hand over your breastbone as one final piece of information came to you. Gran was right, you never should have agreed to help.
“Arrogant fool. You left this place, but it never left you. In your heart, it’s still home and now your unfinished business will destroy it as it destroys you.”
Your deep, brown eyes were sorrowful and accusatory as you regarded the older Winchester. Growing up, you trusted him as completely as you did Sam. Now you were searching for any sign of the boy you knew in the man standing before you. You found none.
Dean shook his head and pushed down the feeling of uneasiness clawing at him. “Y/N Owens, the metaphor queen. Can you not talk like magic eight ball with head injury?”
“Dean.” Sam gave his brother a warning look.
“Speak plain, Miss Cleo! What do you mean?”
“What I mean is you’re an idiot!” You shouted at last, your temper flaring. Only Dean ever got you this riled up, some things never really change.
“You ran away from home, away from your family, away from me. You tried to cut that part of yourself off, but you didn’t finish the job. And now this monster is using it to torture you and he’s killing people whose only sin was living in this town!”
Sam and Dean exchanged a look, wordlessly communicating volumes. They still had that connection and a part of you was glad. Another part of you ached for the connection you used to share with them. You could still read them as easily as a book, but instead of bringing a sense of belonging. It brought heartache and a reminder of how badly it all ended so long ago.
“Don’t worry yourself, Agent Winchester, I won’t go blabbing to the press. Although, its only a matter of time before they catch wind of it along with the other tidbits you’re trying to keep under wraps.”
Dean didn’t particularly appreciate being dressed down, by you or anyone else. “You got something to say, Y/N. Say it.”
You were done. Your whole body felt depleted, the after effect of performing a reading in such a violently charged space. Your head and you heart ached in unison. You needed to leave or there would be consequences and frankly, you needed to leave before you punched Dean in the face on principle.
“There is something else connecting your victims, something you’ve kept out of the papers. Something you haven’t even shared with the other officers,” you said, heading for the door.
Reaching the threshold, you paused but did not look back. “They’re all missing their hearts. Just like you.”

The faceless old woman who secretly lives in your home (Joseph Fink and Jeffery Cranor) "Serious spoiler warnings for this one." (See below cut)
Come Closer (Sara Gran) "A recurrent, unidentifiable noise in her apartment. A memo to her boss that's replaced by obscene insults. Amanda - a successful architect in a happy marriage - finds her life going off kilter by degrees. She starts smoking again, and one night for no reason, without even the knowledge that she's doing it, she burns her husband with a cigarette. At night she dreams of a beautiful woman with pointed teeth on the shore of a blood-red sea.
The new voice in Amanda's head, the one that tells her to steal things and talk to strange men in bars, is strange and frightening, and Amanda struggles to wrest back control of her life. Is she possessed by a demon, or is she simply insane?"
It's framed like a biography that the Faceleed Old Woman is telling Craig, the descendant of the man who killed her. After she dies, as a sort of ghost, she haunts and attempts to kill her murderer, but she fails. She then spends the rest of time manipulating and killing all of his descendants. She is constantly doing things that they don't notice to get them to have kids, etc, and then when they get old enough, causes an accident so the first born son always dies. The villain, and TFOW murderer is also a manipulator. He gets her on a wild goose chase for years to find out who killed her father, and managed to trick her into a situation where he could kill her.

BnHA Chapter 289: Looks Like the Gang’s All Here
Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi was all “you guys don’t really need to know what’s gonna happen to Deku and Shouto right now and cut away to Toga and Ochako before anyone could get a word in. Skeptic utilized the power of Freak Shounen Coincidence to magically zero in on Ochako and Tsuyu amongst the fleeing crowd. Toga was all “IS THAT OCHAKO” and immediately leaped down to fight them, ignoring Spinner’s heartfelt speeches about Villain Found Family because fight now, hug later!! Down in the streets of some unidentified crumbling city, Ochako was approached by a sweet old lady and was all “I better help this sweet old lady who is definitely not leading me into a trap”, which unfortunately turned out to be poor decision-making on her part. Anyway so now she and Toga are going to throw down. AND ALSO, P.S., BEST JEANIST IS STILL ALIVE, and that doesn’t really have anything to do with anything right now, but BY GOLLY I JUST HAD TO SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS.
Today on BnHA: Iida and Hadou are all “is it our turn yet”, and Horikoshi is all “yes”, and so the two of them finally burst onto the scene and are all “hello Shouto, Gigantomachia is on his way, btw do you need help” and so they all get ready to fight Tomura together. Meanwhile in Unnamed Ochako And Toga Fight Town, Toga is all “what’s up Ochako, oh is this the All Might doll Deku gave you, I guess you must like Deku as well, just like me, we truly are the same, btw I can use other people’s quirks now” before she vanishes in a flurry of knives and ambiguity, as mysteriously as she came. So that’s a thing that happened. The chapter ends with Gigantomachia and the League STOMPIN’ ONTO THE SCENE, JUST IN TIME FOR ENDEAVOR TO WAKE UP AND BE ALL “OHHHHH SHIT.” YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT, “OH SHIT.” Finally the pieces are in place for Dabi to reveal his true identity to Hadou and Iida, JUST LIKE WE ALL EXPECTED.
before I start, thank you so much to everyone who sent birthday messages on Wednesday!! I had a good day; my quarantine impulse purchase guitar that I ordered months ago but had been backordered finally arrived, and so now I can do something productive with my time as I continue to while away these months in isolation! not to say that capslocking over fictional characters and their shounen escapades doesn’t also count as being productive lmao. anyways, my fingers hurt so typing is kind of a bitch right now, but I’m having fun still. IF KAMINARI CAN DO IT THEN SO CAN I
anyway so let’s see what mishaps my various catastrophe-prone children are getting up to this week
okay there are several things happening in this panel which I want to comment on
Tumblr media
IIDA!!!
HADOU!!!
“some time after” jesus fucking christ though, how long have Deku and the rest actually been fighting?? like it’s absolutely absurd to imagine that they’ve been managing to hold off Tomura for more than a few minutes, and yet everything we’ve seen these last couple of chapters suggests that this is indeed the case. which is just pure insanity tbh. excuse me sir, but I have an emotionally maturing son, a homewrecking grandpa, and a sleep-deprived one-legged platonic husband who are all in DIRE NEED of medical attention just FYI
lastly, I direct your attention to these two cool cats in the background who are both riding on hover surfboards. living it up like it’s Back to the Future. why are there two of them. do they both just happen to have the exact same quirk. what are the odds. ARE THEY TWINS. I want to know everything about them dammit
anyway so Hadou is asking Iida why he’s tagging along, because unlike the others, he can’t fly and is thus vulnerable to Tomura’s attacks and such
well Hadou I’ll have you know that it his DUTY AS THE CLASS PRESIDENT to tag along and THAT’S WHY
oh shit you guys IIDA SAID “FUCK THE LAW”
Tumblr media
“plus Bakugou-kun, whom I am not particularly close to, but nonetheless hold nothing personal against!” well uh, kind of a weird distinction to make there bro, but okay. listen everyone, it’s a tense situation; if Iida feels the need to clarify the ins and outs of his interpersonal relationships with each of the people he’s rescuing then please just respect that okay
anyways though have I mentioned how much I fucking love Iida Tenya though you guys. feels like I haven’t mentioned that enough. I LOVE HIM. there
FINALLY
Tumblr media
AFTER THREE WHOLE WEEKS WE FINALLY CUT BACK. OH MY GOD. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG OF A TIME THAT IS TO BE HOLDING YOUR BREATH. [EXHALES]
is it bad that my immediate reaction to this page was A LOT OF LAUGHING, though. fkldlksh this entire situation is SO ABJECTLY TERRIBLE that if I were Shouto I would almost be fighting the urge to look around for a hidden camera at this point. ASHTON KUTCHER WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING HERE. OH THANK GOD, IT WAS ALL JUST A PRANK
anyway so uh. heh. how screwed are we at this point, exactly. oh and also, whose speech bubbles are these. who the fuck would look at this situation and these bleeding children and say “HA!” what kind of monster. just ignore that paragraph right before this one please
OH SHIT, OH SHIT, OH SHIT
Tumblr media
TOMURA I CANNOT BELIEVE I’M SAYING THIS, BUT PLEASE LISTEN TO AFO FOR ONCE AND JUST LEAVE
pretty please. we kind of have a situation here. not that I wouldn’t love to see what this icy flamey boi could do if push came to shove, but I also have had just about enough of watching children get maimed for today though
OH SHIT
Tumblr media
THE TIMING OF THIS MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL BUT I DO NOT CARE!! THE CAVALRY HAS ARRIVED THANK GOD
“WHAT UP GUYS, WE BROUGHT YOU SOME TERRIBLE NEWS” FKLSHLKHLK
Tumblr media
WELL GEE IIDA THANKS SO FUCKING MUCH!!
lmaoooo a wild Lida has been spotted what the fuck is this translation though
Tumblr media
I don’t know which is better, the “Lida” (DO YOU EVEN READ THE SERIES BRO), or the “CHRIST” gkfhkg. CLASSIC LIDA
OH SNAP HADOU
Tumblr media
sobbing at Manual cradling the still-warm corpse of Gran Torino like a tiny baby khlk;h. BUT ANYWAYS HADOU SAW HER TEACHER ALL BLOODIED UP AND IS READY TO THROW DOWN, YESSSSS, THE MY LADIES ACADEMIA ARC CONTINUES
(ETA: listen you guys, there were many things at the end of this chapter that brought me joy, but perhaps none more than the inclusion of Hadou in the final two page spread looking all serious alongside the Todorokis, as if she has any fucking clue at all wtf is going on slfkhlkhgghsl. what I wouldn’t give to see her and Deku and Iida all making frantic bewildered eye contact at each other throughout the next chapter lmao.)
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT DEKU
Tumblr media
ARE YOU PROPPING YOURSELF UP WITH YOUR ARM THAT’S IN SPLINTERS, I CAN’T EVEN BELIEVE YOU RIGHT NOW. SOMEONE PLEASE SLAP SOME SENSE INTO THIS CHILD. SIT YOUR ASS DOWN
LMAO TODO’S READY TO TAKE AFOMURA ON. THE SHARED HERO BRAINCELL HAS ALREADY EXPIRED. FUCK IT LET’S DO THIS
Tumblr media
“true, I already watched him murder my dad, my boyfriend, my other boyfriend, my teacher, and dozens of other people, but gosh darn it, I just feel like the fifteenth time’s the charm you guys.” shit, I ain’t even mad. who’s up for yet another episode of Todoroki Shouto Attempts to Murder a Bitch
-- “TIME TO CUT AWAY!!” laughs Horikoshi as he gleefully dodges out of reach before I can punch him, that SON OF A --
Tumblr media
goddammit. you’re just lucky that I’m invested in the girl power fight too
YESSSSS OCHAKO
Tumblr media
DON’T BE SORRY FOR KICKING ASS! NEVER BE SORRY FOR KICKING ASS
damn, looks like she managed to touch Toga’s shirt but not Toga herself. both of them are so fast
now Toga is monologuing from the shadows
Tumblr media
we’ve all been there, Toga. sometimes you see someone you really like and it’s just like, ahhhhhh gotta kill them am I right
Tumblr media
lol I love Toga so much you guys, but I’m also kind of wincing in anticipation of whatever essays are gonna materialize out of the fandom this week explaining how hero society has failed her utterly and she is just a victim here. CAN YOU NOT SEE HOW SHE JUST WANTED FREEDOM TO BE HERSELF AND MURDER A BUNCH OF PEOPLE flhkklhl
OH SNAP SHE WENT AND TOLD HER THE THING!!
Tumblr media
and it was fucking awesome and scary as shit, Ochako. like damn, still sends a chill up my spine just thinking about it
anyway so now Toga is continuing to explain that she can use the quirks of whoever she transforms into
and Ochako is kind of freaking out, which I don’t blame her for, since it’s probably really upsetting to hear that your stolen blood and quirk were used to murder a bunch of people. shit
so now she’s all “WTF WHY WOULD YOU EVEN TELL ME THAT”
Tumblr media
??? was this somehow the wrong answer?
Tumblr media
for fuck’s sake. Toga you literally came down here to ask her if she would be willing to kill you, and here she is telling you “I would never be happy about killing someone, that’s fucked up”, and you’re all “......”
like come on though, what else do you want her to say?? and why does Ochako look so shocked now
OOP
Tumblr media
LMAO
Tumblr media
THEIR FACES DKSLHFKG. TOGA NO THAT IS MEAN. and jesus christ Ochako it’s just a toy. I know it has Sentimental Value and shit but is this really the thing to be getting distracted about right now
FOR FUCK’S SAKE
Tumblr media
JIN-KUN WHOM OCHAKO HAS NEVER FUCKING MET?? THAT JIN-KUN??!
OM NOM NOM
Tumblr media
this entire confrontation makes absolutely zero sense to me you guys. just. Horikoshi was all, “this is the kind of stuff girls talk about when they’re battling to the death, right?” just, are you okay my dude
anyway so Toga has somehow deduced that Ochako got the doll from Deku, which means that she and Ochako are exactly alike in every way, and this is somehow an important plot point, and now they’re finally getting back to the fight lulz
OH SHIT
Tumblr media
OCHAKO BOUT TO SLAP THE SHIT OUT TOGA WITH THIS BOOKCASE ON A STRING AND THIS LOUIS BAG OH FUCK
so now Toga’s all excited and she’s all “THERE’S SOMETHING I OUGHT TO TELL YOU, I’M NOT LEFT HANDED EITHER” oh snap
Tumblr media
fuck, it almost feels like she’s trying to warn her. Ochako idk maybe you should run shit I do not like this ( ゚д゚)
but of course she is not running, and she’s all “I’ll have you take responsibility for your actions”
HEY NOW
Tumblr media
WHAT IS FUCKING HAPPENING, DID TOGA JUST FUCKING MURDER TSUYU, WHAT THE FUCK. I AM TERRIFIED, I DON’T WANT TO SCROLL DOWN, SHE THREW LIKE FOURTEEN KNIVES INTO THE DARKNESS, WHAT THE FUCK
OH
Tumblr media
IT’S POSSIBLE THAT I MAY HAVE OVERREACTED
so did Toga just Swip a bunch of knives for no reason and then abscond, lol what. CAN ANYBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE PURPOSE OF THAT ENTIRE SCENE WAS. ASIDE FROM GETTING TO SEE OCHAKO TRY AND YEET A BOOKCASE AT SOMEONE
fuck, she was crying??
Tumblr media
DID MY GIRL TOGA JUST KILL AN OLD WOMAN, NAKEDLY LURE OCHAKO INTO A BUILDING, ANTAGONIZE HER INTO SAYING “I’LL MAKE YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR KILLING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE YOU FELT LIKE IT”, STEAL HER DOLL, GIVE HER DOLL BACK, TELL HER “OH SO YOU LIKE DEKU TOO HUH? BTW I CAN USE OTHER PEOPLE’S QUIRKS”, AND THEN RUN AWAY CRYING??? BRUH
-- OH SHIT, OH FUCK
Tumblr media
[SIRENS BLARING WILDLY] [AUDIENCE LEAPING OUT OF THEIR SEATS] [T-SHIRT CANNONS BOOMING IN THE AIR] [VIKING WAR HORN SOUNDS IN THE DISTANCE] FUUUUUUUUUCK
well never the fuck mind about Ochako and Toga and WHATEVER THE FUCK THAT ALL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, I guess, BECAUSE!! MACHIA MADNESS HAS ARRIVED. SPEARS SHALL BE SHAKEN!!! SHIELDS SHALL BE SPLINTERED!!
AND LOOK WHO WOKE UP FROM HIS NUMBER ONE HERO BEAUTY NAP RIGHT ON CUE, TOO!!! ATTENTION ALL PASSENGERS... IIIIIIIIIIT’S TOUYA TIMEEEEEEEE

MHA: Fling Theory
Tumblr media
While writing a much, much longer analysis and prediction post (which we will finish and post hopefully by Wednesday - fingers crossed, it’s already been delayed over a week because of work schedules and additions) and a portion discussing what @aoimikans and I know of the wider-known Dad for One Theory, I had to pause while discussing the topic of Nana Shimura’s husband.
At the time, I had been writing about the alternative ways All for One found Nana Shimura and her husband (whether he was a hero, a civilian, or perhaps the 6th User of OfA) and killed her husband. I mentioned there is an alternative theory floating around that All for One was actually her husband, but it is generally easy to debunk based on canon information, including recent information given to use via Gran Torino’s flashback:
In a recent chapter, when we see Gran Torino watch Nana as she gives up Kotaro, Nana says later in the flashback “if he learns of Kotaro” as if All for One was not aware of the boy, to begin with. That may imply that her husband was killed while she was pregnant and she escaped AfO’s attention long enough to raise Kotaro for a few years.
One would think that if AfO was her husband, he’d know about Kotaro early on, or at the very least know of the attempts to have a child. And if AfO already knew of their connection, he would try to use it against her and put both her and her child in danger. Not only that but when All for One finds Shimura’s family later on - and he would have to have found them to show interest in Tenko - he simply allows Kotaro and Hana to die. Kotaro, Nana’s son, and Hana, Kotaro’s daughter who resembles Nana in both name and appearance. If he had been her husband and found she’d managed to hide away a child, I can’t imagine he wouldn’t move to possess that entire family somehow.
Then… It occurred to me that there is another alternative option which I’m calling the Fling Theory.
All for One approached Nana Shimura under a different name and quirk (much like the theorized Dad for One = Hisashi Midoriya situation) and attempted to get close enough to her to create a relationship, trick her into giving him One for All (and maybe even a child at that point). All for One was unsuccessful stealing the quirk by force up until then. Perhaps he thought a different approach would work, and being a charismatic person and egotistical it sounds like something he’d do.
Maybe it got as far as a night of passion before Nana realized who All for One was and fled. That would certainly give one plausible explanation for why everything seems so personal when All for One discusses Nana Shimura. Moreover, if she discovered she was pregnant after? A marriage to a hero or civilian husband to cover for the existence of a child would be necessary to hide him. Again, in Gran Torino’s recent flashback, there is that focus on what Nana says: “if he learns of Kotaro...”
If Nana fled this false relationship, found out she was pregnant but decided to keep the child, and got married to another man in a very short amount of time, wouldn’t that give the prideful All for One reason to kill the otherwise unnamed, unidentified husband first? Revenge against the woman who did what his brother never could except through death, escape him and build another life. When Nana makes the heartbreaking decision to alter her family registry and send Kotaro into foster care, she is not just protecting herself and Kotaro at that moment, but she is ensuring she takes the secret of Kotaro’s father to the grave.
Tumblr media
Which makes it all the more terribly ironic given what we believe All for One did upon discovering Kotaro and the life he’d built for himself.
We believe All for One discovered Kotaro and his family and watched them for some time. Enough time to know their names, their home life, the kind of life Kotaro’s children were living - specifically Tenko Shimura. In 2016, aoimikans wrote a fanfic called “What Lies Have You Told?” based on her theory that All for One gave Tenko the Quirk: Decay. Then in chapter 235, we see a man dropping Tenko off wearing AfO’s signature suit with no tie (just before Decay manifests). This seemed like pretty strong evidence for that to be the case. A while back during our MHA discussions, we also added to that theory that in exchange, All for One took Tenko’s (“Ten” 天 = sky, “ko” 子 = child) unmanifested Quirk: Air Walk which we saw him use at Kamino and was the only Quirk written specifically in katakana. (Sky child, Air Walk → Sky Walk → Skywalker because Horikoshi loves his Star Wars references.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All for One never learned of Kotaro’s true origin. In giving Tenko Decay, he put into motion the events that led not only to Kotaro’s death but also the death of Tenko’s sister, Hana.
Each time All for One tries to own/possess family, he ends up destroying it.
And again, every time All for One speaks to and of Nana, it’s terribly personal.
In the All Might Rising OVA, AfO thanks Nana for the “amusing comedy.” Is that a bitter reminder that what they had was an act? That it was all a game to him? (At least, it was meant to be a game until she escaped him for a time.) Either way, his monologuing at Nana, the personal focus on her, may have cost him the chance to capture All Might while he was young and unprepared to fight him.
Tumblr media
During their first fight and at Kamino, each time All for One talks about Nana to All Might, he mocks her to anger him. All Might is Nana’s successor but more than that he is like her son. He is representative of everything All for One could not get from Nana, both One for All the quirk and the love and loyalty of family (be it a child or his brother’s remnant in OfA). Of course, he takes every opportunity to rub Nana’s death and what he views as her shortcomings in All Might’s face.
And how would All for One know of Nana’s ideals in order to mock them? How would he know of her signature push-up smile that he parrots at Kamino? The way he talks about her even as he mocks her seems to imply that he knows these ideals of hers, how she might talk about them, her vision of the future… Sure, she might have said things during their fight, but honestly, that sounds more like something you’d tell someone as you were getting closer to them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This theory naturally pairs well with the Dad for One Theory for a few reasons:
The resemblance pointed out between Nana Shimura and Inko Midoriya. (All for One has a type.)
The resemblance and similarities between young Tenko and young Izuku. (A family resemblance?)
The continued themes of family, lineage, and legacy that is shown throughout MHA but works specifically well when we think about how Shigaraki and Deku relate to either side of the All for One / One for All coin.
The continued use of name puns and Star Wars references that hint and foreshadow.
Side note: How does the 6th User of One for All fit in this theory?
We assume based on what canon tells us that All for One has been trying to take back his brother’s quirk, the last remnant of his brother and only family.
(All for One claimed to love his brother - though his view of love is clearly skewed toward simply possessing his brother - and he tried endlessly to manipulate his brother into showing his “love” in return with loyalty to him and his view of the world. In death and through the passing down of One for All, his brother had escaped him.)
Based on flashbacks, All for One’s attempts up until the 6th User seemed to include killing them off while they were relatively young. Maybe he was attempting to hunt them down, weaken them, and then torture them until they willingly gave him the quirk; however, he was never successful because each User of One for All was successful in passing it down to the next, playing a dangerous game of keep-away.
Tumblr media
From the 4th (top right, long hair) to the 5th (see his jacket shoulder), from the 5th (center, bald) to the 6th (far right hand?), from the 6th (bottom center, black hair) to the 7th (Nana’s gloved hand at the very bottom of the frame?).
Aoimikans and I were trying to figure out: Who was the 6th to Nana?
He looks younger than most of the other users we can see (not counting the younger, blurry version of Toshinori), too young to have been teaching or training Nana. And in the frame discussing how the quirk was passed down, we see that his right arm is missing, he is offering his hair to pass on One for All, and also…
Tumblr media
… he’s smiling.
There is something else Nana said that makes us wonder if maybe the 6th User was Nana’s first love:
Tumblr media
To be able to meet again at the end within One for All, she thinks it’s romantic. It may just be her personality, but the idea of reuniting with specifically the previous users is romantic to her.
Could it be then that the 6th was her first, young love? Could it be that they were both heroes and when he was hunted down by All for One, the 6th hastily gave her the quirk with a smile on his face - a smile she pressed onto her face, and a smile she passed down to Toshinori?
Could All for One have found out that she had that kind of relationship with the 6th and attempted to replicate the feelings that led the 6th to pass OfA to Nana?
Not only that, but there is that focus on the romantic with regards to specifically previous Users of One for All. Why don’t we see that kind of desire to reunite with the husband that was killed?
Well, if she were trying to find a husband quickly (not necessarily for love), one who wouldn’t mind that she was already pregnant or who would want to just as quickly have a child with her under the belief she wasn’t pregnant - how best would she go about finding such a man? Quirk marriage. It was likely more common in her time. She’s a hero, young, and with a flying-type quirk. She’d be a catch for any man wanting a marriage focused on mixing quirks. And wouldn’t that be just the kicker for All for One? In his view, she fled him only to run into the arms of a man who wanted her for her quirk? His ego can only take so much of a beating.
Possible timeline:
The 6th and Nana have a romantic connection
AfO hunts down and fatally injures the 6th
The 6th gives One for All to Nana with a smile
Nana escapes for a time
AfO discovers Nana and knows of her previous connection to the 6th
AfO uses his knowledge of their connection to try and manipulate her into a relationship based on falsehoods to trick her into giving him One for All
Nana discovers AfO’s identity and flees
Nana discovers she is pregnant with Kotaro
Nana quickly marries a man, possibly through Quirk Marriage, to explain away the pregnancy
AfO finds Nana again after years and rashly kills her husband before finding out more about her life
Nana is forced to quickly give up Kotaro to foster care and alter her family records to hide him from All for One, keeping All for One from using the knowledge of their connection against her (again)
Nana goes into hiding again, eventually finds and trains Toshinori and passes down One for All
All for One finds Nana again but she doesn’t run away. All for One mocks her (allowing her successor and friend to escape) and kills her in the fight but keeps her hand.
AfO later finds Kotaro and his family, gives Tenko Decay, unwittingly allows Tenko to destroy what family he had made, AfO takes in Tenko and gives him the name Tomura Shigaraki claiming that Shigaraki is his own surname - ironic to be giving his own grandson his surname thinking he’s simply taking from Nana Shimura the last remnant of her own family. Revenge for her giving away the last remnant of his brother to All Might.
Meantime, AfO took on the name Hisashi, met Inko (who looks like Nana but would be in his view meeker), and had Izuku.
Fun fact: Shigaraki is 20 in canon. Izuku is around 15. AfO would’ve likely taken in Tenko Shimura around the time Izuku was born. So, at that point in time, he thinks he’s won that battle. Started a family of his own with a Nana look-a-like, and stolen away Nana’s family. All he needs to do now is take back OfA and kill All Might. Then he’ll have everything he’s wanted.
Then, All Might smashes All for One’s Empire and head in, and he takes away All for One’s ability to be a part of the family he’d tried to create. Adding insult to injury, All Might takes Izuku under his wing 5 years later and gives him One for All. Stealing everything from All for One. (All but Shigaraki - the child pawn All for One raised to hurt All Might, not knowing his own grandson.)
And there you have it: Fling Theory!

Why Are Many Senior Citizens Are Requesting CBD Oil?
Tumblr media
