Aoi: Hi all!! We're still alive and well, if a bit blown away by recent canon developments!

As you all know, Contained heavily revolves around the Doctor, and boy oh boy is Horikoshi giving us a treat!

Swift and I are currently devouring the new content! We're both impatient to get back into writing, but we're not going to turn away good canon content if we can help it! So we'll be taking a temporary pause for... "research."

Summary: Part 1 of the "I Am..." series It wasn’t the cold or the bright light bleeding through his eyelids that finally woke Toshinori. It was the smell. Sickly and sterile and metallic with an undercurrent of latex. He could never forget the smell of a hospital. Toshinori was on his knees, hunched forward and held up by the tension in his arms. He hissed as he pulled himself up. Sharp pains shot through his shoulders and down his spine, his back and shoulder muscles spasming as they settled back into place. Something rattled and dragged loud and low. Chains. He was shackled and chained to the wall.
