Pain Points of Video Wall Solutions for Multiple Screens Sharing
Video walls, while offering significant advantages in command centers and other environments requiring large-scale visual displays, come with a set of challenges, particularly when dealing with multiple screen sharing:
Aspect Ratio and Resolution Issues: When different source content is displayed on a video wall, mismatches in aspect ratios and resolutions can lead to distorted or cropped images. This is especially problematic if the video wall has a non-standard resolution or a configuration different from the source content’s original aspect ratio. Hiperwall addresses these issues by including scalable solutions and flexible video wall controllers that can adjust content to fit various display sizes and resolutions properly, ensuring that images maintain their quality and no screen space is wasted.
Complex Integration: Integrating multiple screens to operate as a single cohesive unit can be challenging, particularly when these screens are from different manufacturers or use different technologies. Hiperwall software facilitates integration by supporting a wide variety of hardware and content formats, making it easier to manage diverse inputs and outputs without compatibility issues.
Content Management and Distribution: Managing and distributing content effectively across multiple screens can be cumbersome. Hiperwall offers robust content management features, allowing users to control what is displayed and how it is arranged across different panels. This functionality is crucial for environments like command centers where real-time data and responses are critical.
Interactivity and Engagement: For settings that benefit from interactive displays, such as educational or retail environments, traditional video walls may lack the necessary engagement features. Hiperwall combats this by supporting interactive content and touch capabilities, which can transform passive displays into active engagement tools.
How Hiperwall Enhances Operations with Allwave AV Systems Integration
Allwave AV Systems can significantly enhance the operation of Hiperwall solutions by providing expert installation and customized integration services. This includes ensuring that all components of the video wall work harmoniously within the given infrastructure, thus enhancing overall reliability and user experience. Future of VoIP Business Communication Solutions – Let's Hear It from Experts
In terms of business communication solutions, voice over internet protocol or VoIP is considered the cornerstone of several businesses' communication strategies. They allow us to make and receive calls over the Internet and, thus, reduce the cost while staying accessible from wherever possible. For several decades now, VoIP has been very instrumental in helping businesses establish a high-performing remote work setup. People often imagine what is the future of VoIP and this question is what we have also tried to answer in this post.
Tumblr media
Increasing Demand for Unified Communications
It is expected that, along with digital handsets, the demand for unified communication will also increase in the future. Unified communications mainly refer to integrating several solutions like hosted voice phone, audio/video conferencing, instant messaging and file sharing, all integrated into a single platform by the service provider. Unified communication will make business functioning faster and easier and allow companies to find specific contacts and coordinate with their teams easily.
Tumblr media
Improved Service Quality
5G technology is now becoming a common thing across the globe, and it has boosted Internet speed several times. Till now, the congested or slow network was a detrimental factor as far as VOIP and video conferencing software usage was concerned. But now, this will become a thing of the past, as 5G will result in improved VOIP calls and information sharing.
Tumblr media
Artificial Intelligence and Voip
It is expected in the future that artificial intelligence will become more prominent in terms of business communications and also VoIP. According to industry veterans, artificial intelligence will make voice-to-text easier in VOIP phone systems. It will make recognising conversations and converting voice into text much more effortless. Then it is also believed that interactive voice response, or IVR, will get a complete makeover with the help of artificial intelligence.
Tumblr media
The future of VOIP and business communication looks great, as it will deliver an Omnichannel experience and efficient customer services to the clients. Then artificial intelligence is also believed to make cyber security further stronger on VOIP networks. It will protect sensitive data and prevent businesses from any social engineering scams.

Ok but like aren't you just promoting further dissociation by treating DID like your own personal character sheet of online personas? Can you explain why that's a legitimate thing to support people doing instead of seeking professional help to stop the dissociation in the first place?
(Edit: we never implied people should not seek treatment. Do not understand why you thought this. We are heavy advocates of mental healthcare and write about that often)
That is a fair and valid question and one that is personal to every person who receives care and treatment.
The ISSTD guidelines specifically caution against treating parts/alters as individuals in the very first words of their section on treatment and care:
Although the DID patient has the subjective experience of having separate identities, it is important for clinicians to keep in mind that the patient is not a collection of separate people sharing the same body. The DID patient should be seen as a whole adult person, with the identities sharing responsibility for daily life. Clinicians working with DID patients generally must hold the whole person (i.e., system of alternate identities) responsible for the behavior of any or all of the constituent identities, even in the presence of amnesia or the sense of lack of control or agency over behavior (see Radden, 1996).
This is often quoted in support communities as a way of invalidating alters/parts and imply that treating the parts as individuals is unhealthy.
The unhealthy thing is not acknowledging that we are the same person. As the writing above states, we have collective responsibility for our shared life.
There is only one name on our driver's license.
In fact with our own treatment it took over 3 months of consistent work for the parts in denial to accept we had the condition. The first step was acknowledging that there was a divide.
In Janina Fischer's book Healing the Fragmented Self there is an entire unit on befriending dissociated parts that covers this important step in the healing journey:
“Befriending” one’s parts is not simply a therapeutic endeavor: it also contributes to developing the practice of self-acceptance, one part at a time. When Learning to See Our “Selves” clients pause their reactions to “befriend” themselves, to be curious and interested rather than dismissing and reactive, they slow time. Autonomic arousal settles; there is a relaxing of the sense of urgency to do or be anything different. They feel more at peace because their parts can be more at peace. Self-alienation, that is, disowning of some parts and identifying with others exclusively, does not contribute to a sense of well-being, even when it is absolutely necessary in order to survive. Self-alienation creates tension, pits part against part, communicates a hostile environment (often much like the traumatic environment), and diminishes the self-esteem of every part. Befriending means that we “radically accept” (Linehan, 1993) that we share our bodies and lives with these “room-mates” and that living well with ourselves requires living amicably and collaboratively with our parts. The more we welcome rather than reject them, the safer our internal worlds.
In a therapeutic setting for recovery one needs to accept that the parts exist and that contradicting desires and impulses are happening within the patient. Accepting and acknowledging parts is essential to that and getting to know them, or befriending them as Fischer puts it, is part of understanding these desires.
We are a fairly neat and tidy system as far as many dissociative systems go. Over the course of our therapy and in allowing our parts to have agency, autonomy and individual expression we have come to learn that as a single unified being there are aspects of our personality which we cannot accept as part of who we see ourselves or allow others to see ourselves as.
The big one that many people know is Dawn. We are terrified of erotic intimacy to the point of pre-diagnosis shutting down completely if we were touched in certain areas. We still had our drives, impulses and intrigues though and so Dawn was a version of us that would create online accounts and exist in kink communities and frankly push us beyond the point of comfort which caused us to have meltdowns, delete accounts and try to deny our sexuality entirely. The same is true of our gender expression.
We were married for 11 years and there is not a single erotic encounter that Dawn did not handle for the body. We have no memory of any of it.
As we accepted Dawn and made space for she has simmered down, no longer needing to tug on her leash in order to act and have her needs met. As a symptom we have evened out and are much more comfortable presenting as a sex-repulsed asexual, even when she is front.
The reason is, again, we are one person. Dawn is just a version of us that is not impacted by the terror we have towards eroticism.
Every part of our system exists for a reason. Forcing ourselves to accept the extreme reactions of our parts as "who we are" is as unhealthy as rejecting it outright.
There is nuance and gray.
Integration is finding where the lines are. What is combined and accepted behavior for the system and what is unique to individual parts. Finding these little bits of individuality has been healing. Particularly when each individual trait is something we have rejected and hated ourselves for at a point of our life.
We are healing by accepting the differences.
If we ever get to the point of Functional Multiplicity versus Final Fusion we will decide what to do next.
We are not at the point where we are willing to make those decisions. For now we are one and we are many. We are comfortable with that. Rejecting that and hiding under the knowledge that we are one is denial in another form.

growing up in the community and seeing all these conspiracy theories about how the EU, the UN, and basically any kind of government collaboration is evil, and it's just... I don't really know why that sort of evangelical Christian is so allergic to the idea of context.
Like, the Book of Revelation is the source of most of these fears, and it's got a lot of prophecy about there being one world government and one world currency and all that. And I'm like... this was written in the first century AD.
Why do you think someone living in Europe in the first century AD might think that unified governments and currencies is a bad thing?
Because there's a giant looming elephant in the room in this discussion, and it starts with "F" and ends with "UCKING ROME, THE GOD DAMN ROMAN EMPIRE, THE ONE THAT HAD CONQUERED PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE DAMN WORLD AT THE TIME AND WAS BUSY PERSECUTING CHRISTIANS"
I'm no scholar, but I suspect that was what he was talking about, not, like, the EU or or the UN, guys.

The X-Men vs X-Men Beef feels inorganic
From The Ashes has begun in earnest, and we're being told that the Uncanny X-Men have irreconcilable problems with Cyclops' X-Men. However, we're not really being shown that. Spoilers for all From The Ashes books released so far.
We've had 3 issues of X-Men and 2 of Uncanny X-Men so far, plus answers promised for why Wolverine doesn't want to be one in the first issue of his solo (the reason is trauma, it turns out but he's still wearing his uniform ten pages in. Not especially satisfying.) From The Ashes (henceforth FTA) has had a scattershot approach to plotting so far, but one unifying theme has been that mutants in general are a scattered diaspora as well as interpersonal issues that I'm just not seeing.
Tumblr media
Here's Gail at the end of Uncanny X-Men #1.
Let's break this down a bit. 'Recovering from grief' absolutely makes sense. They lost Krakoa only months ago and different people deal with that in different ways. Except Rogue seems pretty happy tbh, aside from select moments when the Big Picture is being discussed. The rest of the time she's talking loudly about sex and generally seems in high spirits.
'Rogue and Cyclops has replaced the relationship between Xavier and Magneto.' For one, that relationship has been a close one for years at this point. Secondly, I'm not buying that at all because it's not on the page.
Tumblr media
They seem to be on great terms here, working together for mutual goals. Zero animosity. Friends, family, obviously. Why wouldn't they be? This is issue 1.
Tumblr media
This is issue 2, like 6 hours later in universe. The Jubilee comment confirms they're sharing information, and Scott's team are very publicly being X-Men. The reader doesn't have perfect information here, but obviously these kids have said something that spurs Rogue into action immediately, fuck Scott/Hank/everyone else's plans.
Tumblr media
Here's the moment just before the call. 'Last guy I want to talk to.' What the hell is that about? It's very at odds with either phone call, which were friendly and collaborative. As you'd think they'd be, you know having been family for decades now.
Tumblr media
'Are there even going to be X-Men anymore?' You know there are, you're working with them. 'We almost had Xavier's 'dream'. No, you didn't. You had a nation, and it was great. It was the opposite of The Dream, because the Dream is solving bigotry. You should all know this by now. Also, aren't you all super mad at Chuck for his war crimes? I know Wolverine tried to kill him a few months ago - is he over that?
They discuss heading up to join Cyclops, in the former sentinel factory given as part of a settlement for six months of torture and being readied for a Kangaroo court and execution - you were all there for that. 'Imagine a community run by Scott Summers... I ain't going back there, it ain't the X-Men...'
Dude, you've been living with him, Jean and their family for the past 4 years in a polycule. Why are you talking like you're Schism era Wolverine? Your beef is ancient history, you're family. He definitely wasn't 'everywhere you turn' when you were banging his wife. Y'all are about to go break into a government sanctioned prison to retrieve your war criminal mentor that one of you tried to kill very recently - so I'm not seeing a difference in methodology or ideology. In fact you're doing that and he's compromising his team's plans around you!
Tumblr media
Here's Scott's side of that conversation. Looks like she hung up on him for some reason, but this dude is being polite and trying to collaborate with his peers. When he gets hung up on and ignored he changes his plans, with the primary concern being everyone's safety. There's nothing in any of these issues indicating otherwise, aside from Logan shooting down anything to do with Scott and Gail Simone kinda saying so in editorial.
So why is this conflict happening? Logan has been running naked with wolves since Krakoa (despite being in ten different books) so there's been no opportunity for an incident. Everyone else is talking like they're friends. Sure, there's the grief and trauma, but everyone is making 'back to work' choices. I'm definitely not seeing an ideological divide, just being told that in editorial.
Even Kitty Pryde is telling everyone to fuck off, except we know she's in Exceptional X-Men on a team. Little hard to believe she'd turn away from all her family, except Emma Frost. Their relationship was in a good place on Krakoa, but why a team with her and refuse to even see anyone else?
It's really not that hard to give characters goals and beliefs, and ideas on the best way to achieve them. At the moment it just feels like they're apart because writers/editorial want them to be, while giving us the kind of disagreements teenagers would get over quickly. I'm not feeling it as a good start to FTA, and the implication that 'we're the X-Men now' implies Scott's team isn't. We've been here before, idiot plots leading to needless divides amongst a people in severe crisis. I have to ask - is that really the best Marvel can do?
I really want to like or even love this reboot, but nostalgia and forced conflict is the definition of old hat. There's so many ways to use nostalgia in fresh ways, but this isnt it. Worse, I'm being told otherwise. I know you don't hire Tom Brevoort as editor to take risks, so I'm really hoping this is just a slow start with everyone finding their feet.
I've definitely noticed that Magneto has been sitting in a chair doing nothing for 3 issues too. I want to know how his ideological awakening is going to be paid off, and I'm wary it's just going to be ignored. I'll be coming back to this topic when there's actually something to talk about, and perhaps foolishly being cautiously optimistic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe this kind of stuff isn't for everyone, but at least make it make sense, yo. How are you finding it? What are you loving? What are you looking forward to? I'd love to hear.

hiiiiiii question. could you please explain what alien stage is bc it’s currently all over my twitter timeline & i see you reblog it and i’m very curious about what it’s about bc it looks very interesting
Yeah absolutely!
Alison Stage is a collaborative project between Studio Lico, (a Korean digital productions company) and the YouTube channel Vivinos (Who is mostly known for animated sapphic horror content). Alien Stage itself is basically a series of music videos, wherein the characters perform songs for the titular Alien Stage.™ An X-Factor type competition where humans perform their unique "crying" (singing, but the aliens don't get it) for an audience of aliens (though the alien in the title of the program actually refers to humans, from the alien pov) and if they lose...
You find out about the characters' relationships and backstories throughout the songs, one unifying theme being that they see the person they sing for as an object of worship, a God in a cruel and godless universe. Unrequited love is also a prevalent theme, in one way or another. And the songs all fuck
The watch order for the videos can be confusing but here's a list if you're interested:
ROUND 1
ALIEN STAGE (You can technically watch the first two in either order, but I'm going by upload date)
ROUND 2
ROUND 3
ROUND 5 (4 is skipped but the result is shown at the start)
TOP 3
MIZISUA
ALL-IN
Round 6 is probably next! Also worth going through Vivinos's community posts for some comics and extra content, if you want.
