I've been thinking, about how you would make sea creature kazumaji... do you already have headcannons for that or is it something more new?

a lil mix of both 🤔 I originally drew eeljima for MerMay and was gonna leave it at that but I got really attached to the idea of kiryu and his dumb fish boyfriend so I rolled with it kdlsjfddsf. I got a few ideas tho 👀

majima's an eel - nothing specific but I leaned to electric since the rpg games give him electricity as an element. also, knifefish (what a coincidentally convenient name 👀) have spots that remind me of his snake's spots so that fit well with his overall theme plus they're related to eels so even better >:D saejima's also a fishdude, a grouper specifically because they're huge and chonky but also gentle uwu

kiryu's a silly lil fisherman guy, one of them commercial types that goes out on a boat to get big hauls. nishiki's there too being the saddest wettest little beast. other characters make up part of the crew in similar ways the canon families are set up. so like kazama and kashiwagi for example are captains of the crew

I have thought about if they were fish too if I wanted to do a branching AU of this and kiryu could maybe be a thresher shark - because they got that big slappy tail but also their huge beautiful eyes™. OR a betta fish because I think the colors would really compliment his heat colors. nishiki can be a koi because of course

kiryu and nishiki live in a lil shack on the shore. nishiki hates it but kiryu likes the simplicity and being close to work. nishiki would move closer to the city but frankly all the haircare product he buys is so obscene that he can't afford a place on his own ✌

majima and saejima (+ yasuko) live in some nearby kelp forests/coral reefs. merfolk tend to stay away from humans and live further out in the ocean, deeper underwater but these three take advantage of all commercial fishing going on to get some easy food. but being so close to fishing trawlers, this leads to majima getting caught in a discarded net, being trapped and beached where kiryu finds him 👀

merfolk can breath air and go on land but it is as awkward as you can imagine. when majima hangs out with kiryu, kiryu drags him up the beach to enough dry land where the tide isn't a problem. merfolk do have to be moisturized often so majima's either doused with a bucket of water or gets a big ass lathering of lotion. whether or not that'd actually be realistic doesn't matter to me I just think it'd be funny for nishiki to be very suspect of the comical amount of lotion kiryu suddenly starts buying

majima's fav thing to do with kiryu is have him fry up some fish since he's never had cooked food before and thinks it's the bee's knees. kiryu will often go into town to buy all sorts of things for majima to try or majima will catch some wack fish from who knows where for kiryu to fry up. they pick secluded beaches as not to be disturbed but kiryu is ready to fling majima into the ocean at a moment's notice just in case

majima has a second set of jaws normally not visible unless he's snacking on a fish. sometimes he pops em out for a smooch and kiryu is wary but willing to try anything 😤 nishiki is often very worried about the numerous weird bite marks kiryu comes home with but kiryu chalks it up to clumsily falling face first into some coral. you can tell by now I'm very into the trope of person dating a cretur is very bad at keeping it a secret dsklgjk

majima tends to have electrical flare ups when he's feeling emotional so kiryu ends up getting zapped a lot. it's not enough to be dangerous but kiryu has since avoided touching light switches and makes nishiki use them first

rarely kiryu will take majima out on the town in a wheelbarrow covered in a blanket and everyone's like *squint* but eventually gets used to his funny lil friend who seems fascinated by literally everything

there's defo some tigerfish action at a later point once nishiki eventually decides to follow kiryu to one of his little secret beachside escapades to not only find out kiryu's being a weirdo as usual but now with a weirdo fishguy. on the other side, saejima is eventually convinced that there is not a bunch of people on the shore waiting with harpoons and nets and joins majima for one of kiryu's fish fries and finds out hey maybe humans ain't so bad if they can put up with majima for more than five minutes

Like perhaps Price turned the others so that even if they were "Killed" they would be able to come back from it after a few weeks. So all of the boys are Vampires.

Well we are the new recruit and are human,and we smell so nice to all of them. It doesnt take long for us to begin letting the men take little nibbles here and there.

Soap is always rough in his biting,though its not on purpose,we just smell and taste so yummy. He likes to bite on our shoulder and breasts.

Ghost is a little rough but more gentle than Soap,he likes to leave soft kisses after feeding from that sweetspot he found on our neck.

Gaz is scared to hurt us so when he does feed from us,he chooses to feed from our wrist. He was the last to be turned into a vampire and thus is still learning to control his thirst,so he chose our wrist so that if he looses himself to a frenzy,one of the others can pull him off. His bites are gentle but demanding.

Price is well in control of himself. He loves to feed from our neck,breasts, and loves to bite our thighs. Leaving marks and little bruises to mark us up as his,but if we dont want to be marked up he knows how to bite without leaving a bruise. His bites never hurt,not unless we want it to,and he makes sure we never loose too much.

S0 my idea for that AU is that the Leclerc family comes to stay with the Sainz's for the social season, hoping that one or more of the boys will find a match with Carlos' sisters. But insteeaaddd...😅 I have a distinct image of Charles, with his eclectic regency fashion sense that sets him apart from his brothers, boldly wooing Carlos, despite period-typical attitudes. And the two of them spending the society balls flirting and joking with each other instead of mingling with the eligible ladies...

Anyway, this snippet is from the very beginning of the fic, and it's actually a carlando (friendship) scene, which I never thought I'd write asfhgfjs. But I felt like it was a cute idea, Lando being a recurring guest of the Sainz's every year. In this scene, Carlos is complaining about the Leclercs' impending arrival...

If Carlos has to listen to one more recounting of the handsome, dignified, witty, admired, magnificent Leclercs, he might be forced to hurl himself into the sea.

“Particular favorites of the Prince of Monaco, and distinct in both societal standing and countenance, the whole lot of them. You’d be hard pressed to determine which of the three is most agreeable to the eye or to the ear,” Carlos performs a rather poor imitation of his aunt’s voice, who had prattled on for hours and hours to his mother these past days.

Lando snickers, idly snapping a twig in his hand into small bits and pieces that he tosses to the side as they walk along the banks of the creek. “They sound insufferable.”

“Doubtless,” Carlos mutters, kicking rocks out of their path. “I’d wager they won’t even know Spanish.”

Not that Lando does either. The comment has the added benefit of being both a criticism of the Leclercs and a method to tease his friend. Carlos knocks their shoulders together.

It’s a perfect spring day, the sun shining and the breeze swirling bits of pollen through the air, carrying the scent of new growth. The perfect day for a walk, which he’d muscled Lando into agreeing to, despite the younger man’s confusing attachment to the indoors. 

They stop for a moment to appreciate the view of the far off mountains, the sea just visible on the horizon, glittering against the sun. Carlos can feel his sour mood lifting already, such is the magic of his family’s estate.

“One wonders why these Leclerc men are still unwed, and why they need someone to sing their praises so exhaustingly prior to their arriving. Unless their real company leaves much to be desired,” he continues, although his heart isn’t in the complaining anymore. He’d much rather find a spot to lay in the grass and feel the sun soak into his skin. So he does just that.

Lando follows suit, curling his legs underneath him as Carlos reclines onto the grass, rolling up his sleeves and shutting his eyes against the sun.

“But why are the Leclercs coming here for the social season? Why not France or Monaco, if they are indeed favorites of the prince? Or England?”

“Not everyone wishes to go to England,” Carlos teases, just to hear Lando’s scoff. Truthfully, he has half a desire to go to London himself. But he mostly says it as Lando always acts affronted when insults are piled atop his country’s name. “Isn’t it obvious?” Lando arches a brow. “Marriage, mi amigo. It’s the reason for everything. Well, most everything.”

“Oh, that.”

“Yes, that,” Carlos chuckles, pinching Lando’s arm.

“Ow.”

“Oh, shut up. Anyway. Just because you are still a slight, wide-eyed fawn-”

“I am nineteen!” Lando exclaims, but joins Carlos in his laughter soon enough. Nineteen or not, his boyish curls, along with the spots still dusting his skin, make him look every bit as young as he is. “If I am a fawn, then you are a buck. Surely, you ought to be wedded soon, before you are old and bitter. Well, older and more bitter.”

“Ha ha,” Carlos says, deadpan. “We should have been forewarned of your wit.”

But Lando isn’t entirely wrong. Carlos had just celebrated his twenty-fourth birthday this past September, and he’s getting to the age where his parents might not be so patient anymore in entertaining his hypercritical standards, eager as they are for him to sire an heir.

It isn’t that he hasn’t become acquainted with plenty of eligible women at various balls and dinner parties during the social season over the years - he has. But no matter how lovely they seem, he always finds himself stalling when it comes to the actual proposal, something stopping him from making that final commitment. Until, eventually, another suitor steps up and whisks her out from under Carlos’ nose. And, every time, it doesn’t escape him that the prevailing emotion is relief.

When it comes to the woman he will marry, the woman he will spend his life with, he wants someone pretty, kind, and smart. Someone charming and witty and clever and interesting. And he isn’t keen to settle for less. At least, that’s what he tells himself. 

Sometimes, he even blames himself. I’m too loud for her. I’m not artistic enough for her. I’m too independent for her. Et cetera, et cetera... But, mostly, boiling down to: I’m just too picky.

Still, no matter that he will eventually need to wed, he is set to inherit his father’s lands and estate, so there isn’t much of a rush to send him to the altar. His sisters, however - particularly his eldest sister, Blanca, who is almost as picky as himself. She doesn’t seem overly concerned with the wealth and status of a partner, despite the high ranking men their parents are always parading her in front of. But she does expect an honorable sort of man, and, above all, kind, which Carlos cannot fault her for. She deserves the very best this world can offer her, and he fears no man will be enough in his eyes to deserve her.

With the youngest of the Sainz siblings, Ana, her lack of husband as of yet is more a case of her preferring her independence than ‘pickiness’. She often elects to read a good book or ride her horse or go for a swim, rather than practice dancing or attend a ball. It hadn’t been much cause for concern until she had debuted into society a few seasons ago and had refused any offers she’d received since. 

During their childhood, he would always include Ana (and Blanca, until she had started her schooling) in his games and competitions with his friends, pulling her away from time with their sister and mother. He doesn’t regret the fun adventures it had led to growing up, or their particular bond. But it occurs to him from time-to-time that he could be, in some way, to blame for Ana’s convictions.

If it were up to him, he’d have both his sisters stay with him at the estate forever. But it isn’t how things are done. And he doubts they’d be completely happy here either, longing for something more beyond this country life that Carlos so adores.

“Anyway,” he continues. “I hardly need concern myself with such frivolous matters as marriage.”

“What - you have less frivolous matters that require your attention?” Lando asks.

“No - more. Like bathing in the sun and exchanging gossip with my dear friend.” He winks, and Lando just shakes his head with a smile. “If I had a wife, we’d have no time for our walks, or our little competitions, during your visits each year. And that would be a real shame.”

“Says the man who always wins those games.”

Carlos snickers. “Well, if either of my sisters really do marry one of these Leclerc chaps, I might have to let him win. Once, at least, as a gesture of goodwill.”

“You really think they would? Marry, I mean.”

“If they seem a good match...” He shrugs. It is, after all, the whole intention behind the arranged visit.

His aunt and uncle had met the Leclercs on a recent trip to Monaco, where they had expressed interest in visiting Spain and exploring the social scene there. His aunt and uncle had invited them to their home in Madrid, but when Carlos’ parents had heard about it, they’d insisted the Leclercs come to stay with them for at least a few weeks this summer. Carlos doubts the Leclercs had a country estate in mind for their visit to Spain, but perhaps the humble parties they host out here will charm them.

“Well, I don’t know why you sound so reluctant,” Lando continues. “You make friends with practically every person you meet. And for all you know, maybe these Leclercs will live up to the talk.”

“Maybe...” 

But Carlos has his doubts. How interesting could they really be?

He drops the topic for now, preferring instead to tug at the soft blades of grass beneath his fingertips and muse over what will be served for lunch.

I come here today to bother you with my own random Empress au thoughts. Just cause you really made such an incredible au!

Now just cause I got really attached to her, I started thinking about Nilou.

Just imagining a delegation from Sumeru, come to Liyue to give offerings and negotiate trade relations with the young Empress. They came with books containing knowledge of numerous subjects, rare treasures of the desert, and of course the most renowned dancer in the nation. A short trip to host these negotiations, but important.

A time where Ningguang is never far from her Empress since the woman is much more knowledgeable of such subjects, with many of the more protective courtesans staying close by because they just are always a little worry of unfamiliar people being near their Empress.

And in the night, after extensive negotiation and discussion. Comes time for the performance, a banquet held for the guests, and to accompany such lavish surroundings, the Sumeran dancer. And all the Empress' beloved courtesans watch in a combination of admiration and dawning horror as one by one they start to recognize the look in their loves eyes, the look of being enraptured by the woman before her.

But what lengths will they each go to either keep the Empress from directly speaking with Nilou, or perhaps try and push them closer together, just to watch the chaos in the court.

i don’t think nilou would join the harem per se, but i can see her having a rather intimate relationship with the empress. maybe something less official than courtesan and more like she visits from time to time and ends up in the empress’ bed. of course, your official courtesans might get jealous that this foreigner is suddenly sleeping with their empress, but she never sticks around for too long so it’s okay, right?

unless…nilou decides she does want to officially court you. then that’s another issue for another day 👀

Anyways, the dynamics between the boys that I had wrote/liked for the story was:

For Chris I could see him being generally open to all of the members, but maybe would be hesitant with Hyunjin and Seungmin if they ever changed their minds (along with Changbin ><).. but I think it would take little to no convincing for him lol

Felix and Han,, I can see them not caring about anything and just being open to every last person. Including Hyunjin and Seungmin.

I could see Min being open to Han and Felix right off the bat, but later opening up to the idea of Chris (and if Hyunjin ever changed his mind, him too :3)

Same thing for Changbin kind of but I think it would take him a lot longer to open up to Chris and Han, so mainly Felix for Changbin. I think if Seungmin and Hyunjin ever changed their minds, he would be hesitant but still a little interested in them

Jeongin,,,, I think he would only think to go for Chris and Felix, but would be open to Han pretty easily. But I don't think it would be a first name to come to mind for him unless something triggered it lol so Han would probably have to make the first move/ask about it. Everybody else I think would be no's for him sex-wise

I think if Hyunjin ever changed his mind, Changbin is one of the people he would run to LMAO. Other than that, I think he would be ok with Felix, Min, and possibly Han.

If Seungmin changed his mind I think he would mainly only be open to Han or Felix. Though I could see him opening up to Chris and Changbin eventually.

Resident Evil AU

Would RE8 happen before or after Alastor’s death? Seen scenarios for both pop up but what I wonder about is how the story would even start. Alastor was in Louisiana when he died, which makes sense, the mold in this AU is tied to Roo instead of bioterrorism, so the BSAA is not getting involved because they probably don’t exist. So Alastor and Guy were never put in witness protection and moved to Europe. And if Guy, unlike Mia, is suffering from a terminal illness, Miranda wouldn’t be able to impersonate him believably because Alastor would have Guy’s symptoms memorized.

If RE8 were to happen, I think it would after Alastor is already in hell. That explains Guy’s absence without him needing to be kidnapped again and Miranda needing to impersonate a dying man, and explains the different location if Alastor’s journey took him to another circle in the pride ring, there are nine circles and the RE8 village being one of them run by the four lords isn’t a stretch. 

That still brings up the question of who Rose would be unless it’s Charlie, but if it is, where is Lucifer? Does this imply Roo is in the Miranda role as the one responsible for the mold, and her whole villain motive is different (it would have to be, Miranda’s motive is to revive dead child, hard to do in hell)? No idea, but it does explain how Alastor can have his death in Louisiana and the ending of RE8. There’s no way he experiences RE8 and doesn’t go to heaven.

Also Alastor already has experience but combined with his Radio Demon powers, he doesn’t give a shit until he is up against the lords who pose a real threat to him. Crazy old lady appears? Shoot her, end the game before leaving the tutorial. Villagers turning into lycans? No big deal, do some cocaine before leaving the burning building, he is not having another one of these nights sober. That also opens the door to Alastor isn’t as alone as he was the first time, he may be trying to find the other members of the hotel and have interactions with them. Other hotel members could be the POV it switches to after Alastor becomes temporarily unavailable.

If Carmilla is the arms dealer in hell, that implies Alastor constantly going to her and dropping off a pile of crystalized corpses he’s been keeping in his bag to sell her in exchange for weapons, and she is left wondering what the hell he is doing to have this many corpses lying around. This will be coming up in the next overlord meeting.

Yeah now it's a supernatural, fantasy, bonus slice of life (and horror 🤪) kind of manga 🤣

Like, if Solomon can summon the demons but as his bloodline gets further and further and his practice has been lost, especially due to his sudden disappearance, the demons have long stopped being summoned by him and got sad.

Then comes Ra-on/MC who one day summoned Satan.

Wait! Here's better part! The demon kings can also be summoned by other people whoever they feel harmony with. Kinda like a mirror version of themselves in the human world. But by doing so they got stuck in the astral realm and has been there for a while. And then there's MC who suddenly summoned the King of Wrath.

After summoning Satan, he quickly told MC that there's an ongoing war in their world so in order to gain strong they will need to find his mirror half aka the person who worship him on Earth.

Uhm, day after they woken up with Ppyong and Sitri in their home pretending to be human after Sitri felt a tug that his king have been summoned.

Anyways, this is due to Solomon's disappearance too.

Centuries later, various humans started worshipping a specific demon and handed it down to their bloodline. However, due to the misleading information and beliefs as time went by, they ended up accidentally sealing the Kings in astral realm and separating their beastly-form and human form, allowing the worshipper to only summon their beast form and can't really communicate with them making MC ✨️special✨️ woohooo! I’mma genius!

The worshippers, unaware of Solomon's bloodline, didn't know about MC's family. Their death. Or even who they are.

The kings can communicate with MC as a spirit.

In order to regain their corporeal body, they will need to be whole with their beast form so MC is tasked to find their mirror half in the human realm.

now they only have Sitri and Ppyong by their side.

OOOOOOOOOO LETS DO THIS THING 👀 So my first thoughts are that Norton definitely wouldn't purposely reveal his dragon form unless it couldn't be helped for some reason, or deemed it necessary I think during their time together, of him basically following her around everywhere, he didn't transform a singular time and I can see that paying a toll on him 👀 like using a magic spell for W A Y too long So I am sure Alice will be seeing these signs and wondering what the cause is. Wondering if he is cursed and has to deal with chronic issues that are progressing as time continues only for SOMETHING to happen and the truth comes out~

Now for the actual switch and how it happens 🤔

Maybe he gets injured and that is the last straw his back can take, so the human form just breaks and he turns back into a dragon or he is given an ultimatum, show his true self or something happens to Alice. Or Alice is just thrown from a building or something so he chooses to transform to help her 🤔 Either way, him finally showing his dragon form would be dope lol

As for Alice's reaction, I think it would depend on how the transformation happens, but I can see her ultimately being cool with it in the end regardless lol

But I can see her being concerned at first, I am sure there are ideas and beliefs about dragons, that would make a person concerned when met face to face with one, that would be hard to break. But then all those little hints that Norton would drop in his actions or words would start to pop up in her mind as she pieces it all together. -Like how he tends to hold onto things and is possessive over stuff he deems as his -When he sleeps he just surrounds himself with everything that is in the room they are staying in, just bringing it all into a big mess nest lol After that first night Alice made sure she always has enough money for two rooms cause she aint dealing with that -wheeze- -How he can smell food, usually bread, from ridiculously far away -and How he is like a 'magnet' (heh) for finding minerals The list goes on honestly LOL so she would come around and be able to drop the taboo-ness of it all

Norton likely notices the hesitation at first and then decides to sabotage the entire 'relationship' they had in an effort to protect himself and continue to believe he is better alone and use all this as further proof that humans are the worst.

9.How do you worldbuild?

my secret is that i don't, actually.

that's not actually true but i 100% don't do the kind of worldbuilding most people talk about doing unless i am doing a fic where the worldbuilding is meant to be a major focus. (there is ONE EXCEPTION but it's both not a fic i've published and also me wallowing in the worldbuilding is the whole point it's my self-indulgent nonsense.) and see, that's because the secret is that the worldbuilding AS A WHOLE doesn't matter.

i tend to be very... i know what needs to happen and exist For The Story I'm Writing. even for fics like last days, which are arguably pretty worldbuilding-heavy, the secret is that the extent of the worldbuilding i had was largely on the page! i mentally knew a few more details about necromancers that didn't come up, but if it doesn't come up in the fic, i normally just... don't bother.

and like i get that sounds lazy but the thing is: i don't need to. my approach to worldbuilding is almost ALWAYS that, while the setting can sometimes be a bit of a character in it of itself, the setting is largely painted in broad strokes. from the bits i decide to write, the reader should be able to imagine what fills in all the gaps. the idea is not to already know all the fiddly details that are not in the fic; the idea is to give the impression those fiddly details would exist, even though they aren't there. and "actually worldbuilding out the details" and "giving the impression of a world that would have details" are two different things!

i do """cheat""" in a few major ways, mind you: i tend to, when i am writing a total au, set that au in a setting that has a lot of modern elements, so that i largely only have to flesh out how the world is different from ours and the reader will fill in based on life experience in our world; i tend to use the art of "this is supposed to be a little unexplained and Just Works Like That" a fair bit because that matches my settings' typical vibes; and i tend to spend very little time explaining the world to you so much as i tend to just show characters living in it, which i've found is great for giving an impression of a wider lived world.

so in conclusion: yeah i don't actually normally do much worldbuilding despite the fact people tend to like my worldbuilding. that's my secret. here you go,

the heart foundation!!! theyre kinda funky and honestly its not a great plan on their part to survive the hunger games but.... this fits with at least skizz's motivations in the games

tango and skizz decide to team up during the second day of training, when skizz finds tango in a training station that messes with wires and stuff. skizz knows he knows nothing about that stuff and figures tango might be a good ally. tango had been considering approaching cleo for allyship the day before, but then they see that shes allies with etho and decide to leave it.

in the games, they decide that they wont kill anyone unless its self defense (they both have their own reasons for this) if they come across any tribute, they will show them mercy.

they come across scar during the first day and try to convince him that they wont hurt him, but he doesnt believe them and fights them to escape, injuring them a little bit.

some time in the next day or so, they come across bigb. bigb is starving and skittish, and they share some food with him. this gives him a lot of trust in the pair, and they kinda stick together after that

i am technically gonna have 'filler' tributes to make the full 24, since there are only 17 sl members, and those ones will be the bloodbath deaths or early game deaths. so technically, jimmy doesnt die second in total, but still doesnt last that long at all. the dichotomy between the district 11 tributes is v interesting to me hehe

its also good to mention i guess that the only deaths that are actual deaths in the games r the players final deaths. in other words, any secret life green or yellow deaths will either be just injuries in the arena, or ignored completely.

Hiii!

So this is an idea I had for a soft-ish high school au where the Foxes are all still traumatized, but have been adopted into stable homelife situations and are finally in a position where they can start to heal.

The families are as follows:

Wymack adopts Dan, Seth, and Nicky.

Abby adopts Kevin.

Betsy adopts Andrew.

Randy gains sole custody of Matt and adopts Aaron.

Stephanie adopts Renee.

Allison lives with her grandpa.

And Neil lives with Stuart.

Wymack adopts Seth 1st when Seth’s mom dies. Seth is ~11 (his dad has already walked out by then) when he is adopted. Unfortunately the rest of Seth’s siblings get divided up by the foster system but Wymack is able to help Seth track them down and arrange visits them when Seth wants to.

Wymack adopts Dan next when Dan is thrown into the foster system instead of the care of her aunt cuz her aunt refuses to take custody of her. Dan is ~9 when this happens.

Nicky comes last, when he gets taken away from Luther by CPS for sending Nicky to conversion camp at 13. He is put into and adopted by Wymack.

Abby adopts Kevin after Kayleigh dies cuz as much as Wymack would love to adopt Kevin, at this point he already has 3 kids and can’t really take anymore. Abby volunteers and since Wymack and Abby are moreorless married, for Kevin it’s basically just like as if he’s living with Wymack.

Instead of the Spears, luck of the draw the foster system puts Andrew with Betsy and it’s all pretty straight forward from there.

When Matt is 8, his dad dies, so Randy gets custody of Matt by default. Some years later, Matt wants a younger brother and Randy wants to foster. Luck of the draw and they adopt Aaron. Tilda dies when Aaron is ~9. Luther and Maria are deemed unfit for children (hence Nicky being taken away and ending up with Wymack) so he gets put into the system. Randy adopts him.

Stephanie and Renee is basically the same as canon except Renee is aged down a bit.

When Allison is ~13 and developing her eating disorder, her grandpa takes her out of her parents custody and helps her out.

Neil is living with Stuart because Stuart decides to make his move against Nathan super early, when Neil was about to be given to the Moriyamas. He kills Nathan, but Mary dies in the process. Stuart takes custody of Neil as a result.

Everyone is in the same city and goes to the same high school.

That was a very long set-up explanation lol. The main story would be just general high school shenanigans. Here are some snippets:

The boy, Matthew Boyd she thinks his name is, holds up a flower, cheeks red. “I—I wanted to give this to you.”

(you're absolutely correct and I have nothing to say in my defense except that going into this AU I didn't have a plan at all, like I literally just looked at pictures of Mark Hamill and went "okay so how would an older Luke act and, most importantly, how do I want him to be perceived? Like what do I think is really hot?"

And then I giggled whenever I came up with something new and that was pretty much it until I realized nobody fucking acts like that without a very good reason and Luke would literally neverrrr and because I still wanted Dilf!Luke to have some of the loveable elements of Luke, I made up his super tragic backstory which, while not excusing his behavior, at least explains it and then I took what I had and put him in situations and it kinda went off the rails from there lol)

I really like your more positive approach though and taking your suggestions into consideration I can definitely see an alternative version of Dilf!Luke taking shape!

Have some of my headcanons off the top of my head in no particular order <3 (quick disclaimer though: I completely left my "original" Dilf!Luke behind in order to let ideas come more freely, so it's basically a completely new version of his I'm talking about)

• he's tan, like really tan

• when the sun hits his skin it glows golden with it

• so does his sun bleached hair

• he loves to travel and spends lots of his free time doing just that

• he speaks many languages; not all of them fluently but enough to communicate his needs

• he feels like he can never rest unless he has discovered all there is to discover on this earth

• he admires nature's beauty and could talk about it endlessly

• he's ridiculously fit for his age and always actively doing something, he can never sit still

• one of his favorite things to do in warmer countries is to go wind surfing

• he isn't that happy about it but people flock towards him whether he wants them to or not

• many admire his talents and his looks, most of all though, his whole being

• it's really hard for him to go anywhere without literal strangers seeking to spend time in his presence, to get to know him

• accordingly he has friends in every part of the world and while these friendships are mostly surface level, really, he has a home wherever he goes

• despite being well known there's not much others really know about him

• I think they'd project on him a lot, viewing him as whatever they think matches best until their perception is warped and they're blind to who he really is as a person

• he doesn't mind though, maybe even prefers it this way (LISTEN I still need him to be mysterious and hard to get in some way, unavailable men are so hot I said what I said)

And honestly the comic has no name well technically it did which was “forced marriage au” but it was more of a basic name to start off an au that I did NOT planned on making a whole comic out of it but here were are! Abdkwgdka if anyone has any suggestions of a name I’m done to read them!

Okay so here’s the thing, considering I may not write too in depth about Cain and Abel’s relationship in the comic I can answer any question about them here! (unless it has some spoilers then maybe no) considering in the comic I’m focusing on Lulu and Adam.

How they reencounter more like WHO brought them together again. I know in the comic we only seen Cain’s delusions/craziness but Abel… we haven’t gotten a glimpse of his own. And this is where you guys could see his crazy/thirst for vengeance on this motherfucker. No one would assume this but if someone were to ask me who’s the craziest out of the two, my answer will always be Abel’:)

If you guys know about Cain’s curse the one given after murdering his brother, then you guys know no one was supposed to killed Cain and he was cursed to wonder the earth for eternity. But Abel. He was not conformed by this. At least when he was told by one of his sinner siblings that Cain was actually stuck on earth, Abel was waiting for him after all that time since he got murdered.

He was obsessed and desperate to get the justice he so deserved. Cain was on his mind 24/7. And then discovering the why Cain wasn’t going down pissed him off. “Why does he get to live on earth for eternity when I couldn’t even make a life of my own when I was up there!”

The thing about these two is that Abel is from wrath. The whole idea about sinners being stuck in pride originated from the exterminations and angels wanting to punish Lucifer for his wrongdoings but before that it was the first souls going to their respective sin.

Abel’s sin is wrath (cause I haven’t shown or said the whole story about HOW those two ended up fighting that lead to Abel’s death *wink* *tease*) and Cain’s is envy.

Wrath is the second most strongest sin you could have and Abel had to climb to top for survival, being the FIRST human soul to fall down there. Good thing is that he had practice on earth.. considering their circumstances and Adam and Eve’s teachings. And well… he was full of wrath back then.

Anyways. Abel was and IS an overlord (which is why he knows about Vox and Alastor) the most powerful in wrath. He’s acquaintance with Satan. But anyways I’m getting far away from the subject, sorry!

He found methods and rituals to get to Cain on earth. Back in the beginning of hell it was much more difficult to get. But somehow he managed to find a way and killed Cain. This lead for the curse to go into Abel. Which I find it very ironic because he’s the reason why Cain’s curse to be alive for eternity but also it kinda goes well with the fact that Cain was the one to firstly take a life, his. Like the perfect chain.

Cain’s death was “abrupt” to say the least which is why Cain resented Abel for, because that’s the whole reason why Enoch thinks Cain abandoned him. But he can’t find it in him to blame Abel entirely for it and he kinda expected it in a way?

Like subconsciously Cain was WAITING for Abel to get to him. And he did. They were fucking obsessed like that.

Cain fell in envy when he died and for a period he was kinda wondering around there, trying to figure out how to live in this new world but also kinda trying to avoid the obvious. Which was trying to run from getting found by Abel.

Still, they eventually found each other, mostly from Abel’s part cause Cain wasn’t really trying THAT hard to hide. He was basically just sleeping in this old and very small stinky ass apartment until Abel broke his door down and killed him with a butcher knife.

And then, they somewhat made it a routine. A game. Yup. Cain would “hide” and Abel will find him and kill him. It was a normal for Cain to be murdered by Abel at least every two days of a week. And if he didn’t Cain would get offended and look for him JAVDJADHKSBA they’re so fucked up.

In a way, this was for Cain something he thought Abel needed to get his wrath to cease out a bit and his guilt to lessen. And for Abel it was cruelly therapeutic to see Cain in a bloody mess like he did once to him.

Cain and Abel made their own reputation rise up separately but Cain would be lying if he didn’t admit that if it weren’t that Abel was already a recognized overlord it would’ve been twice as difficult to thrive in hell. They’d team up sometimes without wanting to or because they were stuck together in meetings. But nonetheless they kept away from the other for a small period. The other, well was that “game” I mentioned. That game that lead them to furiously make out and fuck and then talk about what happened on earth.

They started pointing out all the things that went wrong in their relationship and how things would’ve been different if they actually just admitted they felt attracted to the other.

So from then they just kinda had this ongoing (no labels) thing where they wonder around their rings during the day and then at nights reunite together and do all the nasty shit/ discoveries they weren’t allowed to do as mortals. Also a ton of dates. Cain at that point had already label Abel as ‘his’ even if their relationship at the time wasn’t sealed shdiabdaldjsl any sinner/ hellborn who’d oogle Abel for too long were on his kill list while Abel was in his own little bubble having small crisis for falling this low but not regretting it either. Abel didn’t even feel like he had to claim Cain cause he just knew Cain was his.

Everyone kinda just knew those two were “together” and to not mess with either of them. Then one day out of the blue Cain just suggested for them to get married and Abel said yes.

Their relationship was a roller coaster shdkshdkfbsk but anyhow Adam was in fact in that wedding with danger tits :3

AU scenario: xue yang survives getting disarmed (hah) by lan wangji after the yi city arc! what happens next 👀

i have actually written two versions of this one! one in novelverse where Su She manages to sweep Xue Yang away (my god, I keep mentioning this one lately, but nurture the tiger) and one in cqlverse where Song Lan makes the deliberately contrary choice to leave Xue Yang alive (Walking Far From Home)

this is a rough one though!! because I want things to end better for Xue Yang but they don't look great for him at this point in time unless somehow you bring Xiao Xingchen back to life. though okay let's see what I've got here. going with novelverse for this one and at least starting with the nurture the tiger premise

so Su She manages to bring a half-dead Xue Yang away from Yi City, half-dead and an absolute wreck having lost his last ditch hope of getting Xiao Xingchen back. somehow (Xue Yang's nearly inhuman endurance) he manages to stick him back together

(since Jin Guangyao is busy, probably this is just a Su She effort; they need all the allies they can get with the way things are going, he thinks, even if this particular ally is not going to be very useful, but still. maybe Su She's a little attached, though I don't think he'd be very inclined to admit it. Xue Yang grows on you. like a fungus.)

howmever, he's got other things to do, so he does have to leave Xue Yang on his own once he's (more or less, barely) stable. and then everything goes to shit, leaving Xue Yang entirely on his own because everyone else is dead.

this becomes clear to Xue Yang (that nobody's coming back for him, anyway, though he may or may not realize that's because they're dead and just assume he's been given up for lost and not worth killing personally. dick) and he reaches out to the only option he has left, which is to say his fierce corpse masterpiece (with whom he still has at least a distant connection, as his former master, even without the nails he can at least try to summon him), figuring that at least he can die with...if not grace then a little faster than of infection, and hey, Song Lan was kind of sort of his fierce corpse best friend for a while there

anyway, Song Lan (who has nothing better to do except be miserable right now) shows up, decides to leave Xue Yang alive because he's too pathetic to kill at this point and also because Song Lan doesn't have any other (living) friends and is incredibly lonely and at least here's the only other person who understands the grief he's feeling, even if that's the last thing that Song Lan wants to admit

eventually once Xue Yang is better (ish) they leave and go off journeying together in the weirdest most miserable duo road trip ever. Song Lan is continually like "good night, I may kill you tomorrow" to which Xue Yang is like "okay, that's chill" but it gets almost comfortable

shared grief bonding!!! Song Lan is just waiting for Xiao Xingchen to heal while trying to maintain the work that they (would have done) were doing together before everything fell apart. Xue Yang is like "saving people is boring but not like I have anything better to do at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

I have no idea where this goes. but I like the idea of it just kind of continuing until eventually Xue Yang does die and it's bittersweet in the end and it's kind of like. everyone's dead now. including Song Lan. he's just ambulatory about it.

anyway this whole thing would be really fucking angsty and all about grief and mourning and I'd probably cry writing 90% of it

Modern Levi Jobs

(Update: sorry this comes off as a little pushy, I was new to the fandom and very Passionate about this subject)

Another Modern AU where Levi has a white collar profession? Hm…

Of course people are free to interpret characters however they like and write whatever they want, but I believe Levi’s poor upbringing and criminal background are intrinsic to the man he is, and by stripping these vital aspects of his character away, he would be a completely different person (unless the point of the au is making him completely different?). For someone with his background, pursuing a higher education would be daunting, and a white collar career path may be near impossible with felony charges. And I just don’t think loads of paperwork, emails, formalities, bureaucracy, and academia are Levi’s forte. Plus, the man can’t stand the pompous bougie crowd.

While being mindful of his impoverished criminal background as well as his canon characterization, here’s a list of jobs I could see him having in the modern day (many of these jobs hire felons or depend on the employer or circumstance. Whether or not Levi has felonies, he must have a criminal record of some sort, and these jobs would be possible with that in mind. Some may be more believable than others, I think it depends on lots of life factors as to which career path he would choose, and that’s the cool thing about AUs—so many possibilities!)
