When I first saw this outfit on her my eyes were extremely blurry and I thought it was a pride flag, so I made my vision reality- with some extras! Flag striped jackets without the shades below the cut ^^ (and if they are noticably off, yes, I eyeballed the colors)

As usual, these are fine to use however so pong as you link back or otherwise credit me! And I do have these layers separated if anyone has a request, or wants a version where I leave the stripe section white and unsectioned for customization. And for anyone unfamiliar with this fit:

Damian truly liked his new professor, yes some day he might have to throw Professor Nightingale in Arkham, but that was future Damian's problem, not his. Professor Nightingale is amazing! He took them on a field trip to some place called the Ghost Zone on his spaceship. They were able to conduct many fun experiments in a safe and controlled environment. Professor Nightingale might be a rouge-in-the-making, but Damian thought he might just be able to convince his professor to join the bats, they could use a mad scientist.

Jon loved his new professor! Damian had his reservations and Jon could see why but that was the future's problem not theirs. They go on fun field trips and conducted so many fun experiments. There were so many explosions! Jon had never really liked chemistry but Professor Nightingale made the class so much fun.

Danny loved his new job. Gotham was the perfect city for him. Given that the law in the city are more guidelines than anything, he could take his students on unsectioned field trips and not get in trouble. Besides the kids love blowing stuff up in the Ghost Zone. There was just one thing, this one of his students and his father. Damian was one of his best students but he always just stared... and his father is freaking Bruce Wayne. He has zero idea what he could have done to get on the bad(?) side of the richest man in the world. And he has also sense Gotham's vigilantes spying on him. Hmm... well if worse comes to past he is the king of the Ghost Zone so if anything does happen he was diplomatic immunity.

Bruce: Who is that? *Points to a man speaking to a student*

Damian: The new Gotham Academy hire, Mr. Fenton. He is adequate as an instructor, and I find his teaching of chemistry to be both educational and entertaining.

Bruce: Does he normally dress like that?

Danny: *Wearing a lab coat with science beakers all over it, stripped white and black pants, and a black muscle shirt with neon splatter paint* If you push this button, the beakers light up! 😊

Damian: Yes, he does. I plan to enjoy his instruction before his inevitable descend into madness. I will admit that I'll will have some regrets the day I have to place him in Arkham when he becomes a rouge.

Bruce: I dont think it will come to that. Some people just have different fashion sense. Just look at art teachers! It that doesn't mean their Rouges in the making, chum.

Random student: Won't the light up beakers be a danger in a chemical lab?

Danny: That's what makes chemistry fun. The boom. The glorious boom. 🙂

Bruce: I stand corrected. That was a rouge-in-the-making statement

Damian: It's rather pathetic how often you are wrong, Father. Perhaps old age is catching up to you.

I have taken him to the ocean so the mermaids can eat him because I can’t bear the thought of what will grow if we plant him in the earth. The ocean is kinder this way. It does not return what you give it. I hope this will make him easier to forget.

I can imagine myself vividly in his place, and I would prefer to have the ocean scavengers unsection me quickly than to melt into the earth and feel my bones devoured slowly by cellulose.

I wonder sometimes if a mermaid, planted on the seafloor, becomes a strand of kelp. If that’s how underwater forests grow.

On his settling day, the kelp swathes the beaches, great ropes of it. I carry him, frozen in my arms, down the cliff to the sea strand. After a week of travel, I am used to the weight.

Random poll time

For reference, i have more than 7000. My Pinterest account is a barren wasteland without rules. I have ONE folder with almost 3000 pins (unsectioned). I spend more than half of my daily screentime on that god given site. Please tell me i'm not alone🙏

Few problems, first the "Im doing my part" was also a common theme in american propaganda, propaganda is the same my man.

And considering that they're literally fighting bugs its hard to justify the rat comparison since these are luterally unsect that they're fighting.

The shower scene is interesting because it undermines the sature.

Rico is nit a citizen, nor are his parents and yet the shower scene "implies", read outright states, that you need to be a citizen to reproduce? Then hiw the fuck does Rico exist.

Even higher education makes no sense because Ricos dad wants him to go to college and yet uts suposed to not be accessible without military service? What!

The reality is theres no fascism in the movie, leadership is democratically elected, economic freedom is abound, religious freedom exists, the media us truthful and transparent about the governments actions and fuck ups and the military leadership takes responsability for said fuck-ups.

Every argument about the "subtle implied fascism" falls apart if you look at the movie for 5 seconds. The shower scenes contradicts what we see in the previous scenes, the asteroid theory is selectively ignoring the existance of FTL and the roughnes of the training exists in the context of miraculous medicine that brings a man back from the brink of death by dunking them on gel for half an hour.

Even the roughness of the training isn't that extreme since we clearly see that maiming is notnacceptable and punished when Rico causes an accident. Even the corporal punishment is normal since opposition to it is a very modern thing.

Yokai a Day 01: Shinchu (神虫)

These are gigantic DIVINE insects that feed on demons that cause plagues. By feed I mean, ferociously maim, maul, rip and tear their prey before consumption.

i just realised they speak latin in artistic partisan and.. ahah heey i don't know if people know this already so i will. drop it just in case! here's a super tiny tiny history lesson to go with it because i went COMPLETELY OFF THE RAILS.. i'm sectioning it nicely.. and honestly this is such a fun topic, i might add more if i find any crumbs.

"si vis pacem, para bellum" is a latin saying that basically translates to "if you want peace, be prepared for war". the phrase comes from a tract—de re militari—dating back to the 5th century, written by publius flavius vegetius renatus. the subject is the roman empire's military, basically, about leadership, training, strategy, discipline.. etc etc.

in artistic partisan they swapped "pacem", the word for peace, with "artem", which is the word for art. "si vis artem, para bellum" translates to..

"if you want art, be prepared for war"

the spears in the music video are partisan polearms. it was used mainly in europe during the 16th and 17th century, much much later than the proverb, just barely out of the roman era, which ended around 1500AD. what was special about it is that those two little flaps on the side could be used to counter sword attacks.

it went out of fashion pretty quickly because firearms were making progress in their development though. they couldn't really counter firearms with a plate of metal. and since partisans were very light and not suited to combat armor, in comparison to halberds, they weren't used often anyway.

they became much more used in ceremonies, and to give commands through motions. in the music video, the partisans are crossed a few times. crossed spears are often seen as signs of protection. we actually see this in a few movies, when guards block off unwanted visitors by crossing their spears.

the second picture could be imitating the phalanx formation, which was often used by the ancient greeks. they were basically blocks of people fighting together as one, marching forward. it looks nice and blocky here, and the spears are pointing towards the camera.

hiiro and shu have their partisan crossed very nicely, so maybe this formation is used as a means of defense rather than attack.

it is also likely that they've implemented other certain cues and formations within their dance, but sadly there isn't really much on the stances in neither of the books i have on me right now, and not on wikipedia either.

the costumes that they are wearing look mostly similar to the austrian-hungarian uniforms during the first world war.

austria has a particularly rich music history! music is a form of art, so this could have a connection to it. there's not really much to this point that i can dig out.
