Call me old fashioned but I think in the US (and around the world but I don't want to speak for them or can even say I am fully aware of what all they are doing) should rename all our natural monuments and locations back to their original (ie- non-colonizer) names.

It's not Yellowstone it's The Burning Mountains

It's not Mt. Rushmore it's Tunkasila Sakpe Paha

It's not the Grand Canyon, it's Öngtupqa (Hopi), and Yavapai: Wi:kaʼi:la (Yavapai), and Bidááʼ Haʼaztʼiʼ Tsékooh (Navajo).

The invader should not be given the power to rename the world. We can correct it. We can make it right.

Will we do it though?
