If you use arab.org like I do please consider taking the extra 30-60 seconds to click on ALL of their causes. Palestine is important but so are the environment, refugees, children, women, and the impoverished across the middle east and it doesn't take away from Palestine to click for multiple causes. The arab world faces a lot of problems and they only get worsened by how western nations have oppressed and attacked them. Clicking is small but it generates something and overtime it does benefit the greater good. It takes all of us clicking as often as possible but we can do it! i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)

what are you gonna do now that soap2day is gone? you are gonna find yourself another free site to watch things on, thats what. *how* are yall gonna do that? im gonna tell you, **as long as you have an adblocker** (if you use firefox there are a bunch of good ones ive used but currently i recommend adblocker ultimate)

1. google "watch [movie/show] for free online". a list of sites will come up. some are illegal streaming sites. some are not. you figure out which is which mostly by clicking on them

2. if nothing useful comes up, scroll to the bottom of the page. check page 2 of google search results

3. if *that* doesnt work, scroll back to the bottom of page 1. therell probably be some bs disclaimer about them removing search results because of copyright claims, and itll provide a list of the complaints. click on one of these complaints

4. after being taken to the complaint page, scroll down to where it says "allegedly infringing urls" and copy+paste those urls, one by one, to see if any work. in all likelihood one or two will but most wont. rinse and repeat with each "complaint" link until you find one that works and doesnt seem likely to take control of your computer or something

5. when youve found a site, dont go blasting its name all over the internet, for the same reason im not just *telling* you the sites *i* use. yeah, share it with your friends and family, but you dont want to draw more attention to it. this might just be me being a bit paranoid but whatever

i've seen a lot of dp fans in the dpxdc fandom talk about not having access to comics so here. it's completely free, good quality scans (for most things), basically any dc comic you could want is there. you should have an adblocker but the ads aren't the worst if you don't, just noticeable and annoying. you're not gonna get a virus, i've been using the site for years, as have many other fans.

if you genuinely want to read the comics, take advantage of the sites comic fans have been using. there's new and old stuff and everything in between. crossovers too. whatever you want to read, you'll find there.

btw check out awful archeology by miniminuteman on youtube, great conspiracy debunking videos, he also has a series of shorts where he quickly debunks things in under a minute, and other longer videos where he talks about archeology more broadly in a positive light, his stuff is really fun! he has a two part video series he's posting right now about debunking one specific tiktokker who gets thousands of views on his unfounded conspiracies that'll end up being like 4+ hours long. he's also really good about honoring the cultures the archeological discoveries come from, and acknowledging indigenous cultures, and criticizing the origins of archeology in the US, so he's a really balanced voice

This isn't so much about the fma show as the media itself BUT IM SO MAD THAT ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND STREAM FMA 03 ANYWHERE, WHY????? The og series is such a crucial part of the FMA LoreTM and despite however ppl feel about the ending the beginning arcs are so beautiful and so well animated, like it deserves to still be watched and experienced and have its own legacy outside of "brotherhoods shitty older brother". I've been trying to find the series via hard copies so I can watch it again (with some success) but eBay is full of scammers selling the DVDs at insane prices and most of the Blu rays are bootlegged (I bought one and the fourth disc didn't work so I had to return it orz)

It's just so frustrating seeing this continuous trend of good shows from the nineties and early 2000's become more and more obscure and hard to find when less than a decade ago everyone was able to see them and it was possible to at least find physical or digital media versions somewhere on the Internet or in stores. How am I supposed to recommend to my friends that they watch fma 03 before brotherhood if they can't access it anywhere???

Tldr; preservation of media is in shambles and people are going to have to pry what overpriced legit copies I've been able to get of the FMA 03 series out of my cold dead hands
