One of my all-time faves from PARANOiD DJ! Honestly I love the beat of ‘Use Me Up’ - Any of PARANOiD DJ’s Angel Dust stuff I’m all over haha ! I could listen to this one like all day and I wouldn’t get bored of it. There are def a few lyrics that gave me chills when I first heard this song haha. It’s like in my top three, definitely one of my faves !

Okay, this song was pretty good, but something that bothered me and some friends was how PARANOiD DJ not only wasn't shown alongside Viv at the start of the credits (cause you know....they wrote the song that makes up 90% of the video) but was shoved ALL THE WAY near the end of the credits while Bryce gets credited TWICE for the same thing. Oh, she also doesn't link their channel in the description. Only her stuff and puts a very, immature "WARNING FOR: No swears! Gasp!" Which is an immature jab at people criticizing her garbage humor. So, no thank you in the description, like she did Silva Hound

With her history and her pettiness/childish behavior overtaking rational thought and morality, it's no surprise that she would act this way. Hopefully, she actually LINKS DJ's channel rather than make a stupid ass reply to the justified dislike for her trashy ass humor.

Also, regarding the song, it's visually outstanding and beautiful, eye candy, and song itself is pretty good! Sucks that the context of the show ruins it and how bad the romance is, how bad the 2 characters are, how boring the progression of it all was. This song should have been done in the episode where Stolas sang about Blitz in S2 when Blitz was rightfully angry at Stolas for simply using him as an "Impish little plaything" but NOPE, we get it way after around the time where Stolas has kinda grown irrelevant in the story. Damn dude, can someone else just direct this show and take it away from Viv, she sucks ass at story telling.

Donatello Hamato:

Raised by Splinter/Hamato Yoshi/Lou Jitsu in the sewers under Brooklyn

Started looking for his bros after his dad told him about them

Met April when he was 9 (she was 11)

He met Leo when they were both 11

Baron Michelangelo:

(I hc that Baron is a title, not a name; like Lord or Lady, so Mikey inherited Draxum’s title)

He’s been training to be a mystic warrior since he was born

Muninn (the one with a larger body and the underbite) wanted him to be named Angel, Huginn (the one with a larger head and overbite) wanted him to be Michael, so they compromised with the perfect name (don’t tell Draxum they saw it in a human pamphlet )

Raised by Draxum alone until he was seven

At 7 y/o he met Raph and ever since both Big Mama and Baron Draxum have joint custody over them

BM and BD raise them like a divorced couple, they alternate houses weekly and they celebrate each holiday twice, (Big Mama and Draxum only come together for their b-days)

Besties with Raph and Cass, (met Cass when he was 10, she was 13)

Rapheal Jitsu :

Training to be a mystic warrior since he was 9

Big Mama named him what she and Splinter would have named their first son; (he proposed to her, you can’t tell me that they didn’t talk ab baby names)

Big Mama was not the only secretive one in the relationship, she didn’t know what Splinter’s real last name was, (and as a gang leader she doesn’t use her name anymore) so yes, Jitsu is Raph’s legal last name

Met Mikey when he was 9 y/o

Other Info:

+ because Leonardo was hella malnourished as a growing young lad, Donnie ended up being the 2nd tallest by the time of the movie

+Splinter became more proactive in Donnie’s life ever since he lost sight of the other three brothers and became more proactive in his training when he met April because he’s more paranoid than he is in the show

+Don didn’t really care for Leo (he was comfortable as an only child and Leo changed his routine), until Leo got deathly sick and nearly died

+Big Mama and Draxum (somewhat) reformed only b/c Mikey and Raph would cry and throw tantrums (they won the moral argument slay) when they would talk ab their plans and beliefs (Draxum loves his children more that he hates humanity, and Big Mama finally learned how to love with Raph)

+Mama truly loved Splinter, but was insecure about him loving her as a Yokai (she had trust issues) and b/c her morals are hella skewed, it seemed like a great idea to keep him the only way she knew how, by putting him in Battle Nexus (and she makes bank with him there! In her mind it seemed like a win-win)

(Note: Big Mama’s and Splinter’s relationship will solely be as exes, because it would be hella unhealthy for Splints to trust her after she betrayed it like it. (They both lied to eachother during their relationship in this au) Their relationship in my comics and fanfics in this au will solely be as estranged exes, they will not be getting back together)

Can I send a Splatoon request (m/n) is a Octoling male idol and everyone is crazy yandere for him.anything about him will be gone in seconds, like (m/n) merch gone,concert tickets sold out etc..

Life is good, being apart of deep cut after marina and pearls final splatfest. M/n was the fourth member of the deep cut as he was friends with bigman and he was able to get m/n in the group plus shiver and frye loved having m/n around. Having a unique features made m/n stand out a lot like with his hair being similar to Marina's but just more short like her old hair style. Plus luckily everyone thought m/n wears some kind of eyeliner and many things about him being different than other octolings on the surface but shiver tells everyone that m/n is just a different species of octolings probably from another city away from here.

M/n sighed after the camera turned off for today as the director yelled "all right everyone where on commercial break!" Frye looked at m/n seeing him look down a bit "you okay m/n? Your not all happy like you are usually" frye said looking to him as shiver looked at frye then m/n as m/n quickly sat up straight "oh! Nothing, just thinking about things really. Just woke up on the wrong side of bed" he laughed a bit trying not to worry the three "well you can tell use anything if you need anything off your chest" big man said with the screen he holds turns off for now as m/n sat there in silence for a few seconds "no I'm good....just going to go to the bathroom" m/n said as he got off the stage and walked away to backstage into the hall, but not going it the bathroom but just leans on the wall and going in his phone.

Then when to splatagram (work with me here, I don't know many Splatoon canon apps) many post of some ads, inklings showing off food at restaurants or food trucks, but then m/n stops scrolling and sees a tag that caused m/n to raise his brow "fanclub? I didn't know I had a fan club....I thought shiver, frye and bigman or anyone else had fanclubs.." he said to himself as soon as he clicked the tag, a boat load of post ranging from inklings to octolings even others from far away not even in this city. It was terrifying to m/n seeing so many things about him and the merch that he didn't even know existed of him, plushies, shirts, pants, hats, figures and so much more "I never made these brand deals?! How is there so many! And how is there so much fan merch of me…" M/n then was panicking not from the people who loves him cause he just tried to make himself thing it's just everyone supporting him, even making himself think it was all just a phase everyone was going through a obsessive phase but the slim chance that dj Octavia could find this, he could get kidnapped like Callie that one time, he could be brainwashed, so many terrible thoughts run through his head thinking of so many things that could happen if he was found out, would he be sanitized? Just like all his friends to be his mindless killing machine if he's taken back? M/n screamed as he felt something touch his shoulder as he quickly turned to see who was it that spooked him so bad and it was just the jellyfish intern "mr.m/n, where about to come back on soon" the intern said as m/n's heart was still racing "right...right, tell them I'll be there just give me a bit to um...just get myself ready" m/n told the intern as they nodded and walked back to the studio to tell them which has m/n all alone again "your just paranoid, nothing bad can happen...dj Octavia won't know, even if he does marina is a long ways from here so she's safe and Octavia wouldn't do something that ambitious" m/n said to himself as he turned off his phone and walked back to the studio with his head held up high hoping this might be a good week or even a good year.

"sir! We found something you might like" a elite octoling said as she held what looked like a small keychain, it was shiny and had the picture of m/n on it, in pastel colors seeming happy with the other side having his 'friends' all with him and all looking happy, DJ Octavia was silent, he was taking in the details of this keychain pictures "m/n is on the surface...just how marina is" Dj Octavia said as he took the keychain onto his tentacle and examined it, the underground felt so empty without m/n around. The small splats of colors on the walls or just anything that was colorful he could put anywhere, the small city's of the octarian underground loved the small splats of colors, any kind it made the underground feel less gloomy but after DJ Octavia's defeat in inkoplis and that damned squid sisters music that Octavia hated so much, salt in this wound those agents gave him taking away power to the city and then now this, Octavia felt humiliated that the only octoling soldier that made the situation of the octarians being under ground feel a bit less gloomy and just less of a hell hole was on the surface cause of the now lazy inklings and the octoings that managed to get on the surface now having audacity to rub this in his face just saying to Octavia that m/n was theirs now, it made Octavia livid that his m/n and only his m/n is now on the surface, his tentacle gripped the keychain in his tentacle until a crack was formed on the sides and his grip loosened. His gaze goes back to the elite octoling soldier "bring m/n back here, no matter who you have to hurt, no matter what you have to do, bring m/n back here" Octavia said the soldier nodded and was about to go get some of the other octolings to get ready for this mission "wait, take this" Octavia handed the soldier a pair of glasses, the same ones callie had on when she was kidnapped here "it'll make it more simple but these ones will make sure m/n won't be able to fight back so easily" Octavia said as then he waved his tentacle to dismiss the soldier, the elite octoling walked out to tell her team the new mission now with the hypno glasses in hand...to be continued

just me or is Husk super miscast in Hazbin? I couldn't figure out what was bothering me so much about the voice so I did the obvious thing and went back and watched the pilot

pilot Husk has this gruff voice that sells the idea he's hard drinking and older than most of the cast (paranoid DJ has one dub of a comic where Angel wakes him up after a bender and Husk actually sounds like he's been hitting the bottle all night - he's super hoarse and rough and that energy's pretty absent from most of hazbin from what I can see)

I'm sure his Hazbin VA is great in other things but his voice sounds way too high, it just loses that whole jaded edge he used to have. hazbin husk just feels drained of edge and charisma - he used to be flawed like the others and now they just kind of mention he lost his Overlord status offhand and have him be the wise You Know What Your Problem Is? exposition character

side note, rewatching the pilot also made me long for the pilot designs, especially the ones with better/simpler color palettes like Angel Dust or especially Vaggie, who actually stood out due to not being red or pink

Literally the only thing Husk has going for him is the fact that people (rightfully) love Keith David. It doesn't fit him, it doesn't make sense with his character, everything about Husk is a mess, but it counts where it matters to Viv...big names, lots of money going into it.

Soooo, I just watched HH since my classmates kinda told me it'll be a lot better........ And after episode 5, I have some issues....

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO LUCIFER????????? LEGIT THEY DESTROYED HIS FUCKING CHARACTER AND MADE HIM THIS SYMPHATETIC DAD WITH TRUST ISSUES?????????? LIKE HUH?????????? SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT THIS IS THE KING OF HELL??????????!!!!!!!!!! DUDE COULDN'T EVEN SEEM TO CONTROL HIS PHONE, LET ALONE ALL OF HELL! LIKE HOLY SHIT, I'VE NEVER LOST INTEREST SO FUCKING QUICK BEFORE. LIKE I GET IT, HE'S DEPRESSED SINCE HIS DIVORCE OR WHATEVER THE FUCK HAPPENED TO HIM, BUT STILL! HE SHOULD'VE HAD THAT PRIDEFUL AND ROYAL AIR TO HIM, AT LEAST WHEN HE'S AROUND OTHER PEOPLE BUT NO! JUST LIKE STOLAS, THEY TURNED LUCIFER INTO THIS SYMPHATETIC SOFTBOI WITHOUT ANY CHARM OR PERSONALITY WHAT THE FUCK?! Second of all, the way they showed Alastor and Charlie's relationship. Like, I admin, it is really fun to see them have that found family bond, but there's one big issue...... WE BARELY SAW HOW THE RELATIONSHIP PROGRESSED! LIKE, IF YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE THAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP, WHY CAN'T VIV JUST BE PATIENT AND TAKE THE TIME TO ACTUALLY FUCKING DEVELOP THE RELATIONSHIP ON SCREEN. WE BARELY SEE CHARLIE AND ALASTOR INTERACT MUCH BEFORE AND SUDDENLY THEY'RE LIKE FATHER AND DAUGHTER????????? THE FUCKING HELL, IS IT SO FUCKING HARD FOR VIV TO JUST BE PATIENT AND SLOWLY BUILD THINGS UP????!!!!!!! PLUS, I THINK ALASTOR EVEN SWEARS IN THE EPISODE???? WHILE IT IS IN CHARACTER FOR ALASTOR TO DO SO WHEN HE'S REALLY PISSED...... THE FUCKING ARGUMENT WITH LUCIFER SHOULDN'T BE THAT FRUSTRATING FOR HIM???? ISTG, IT FEELS LIKE THE FANDOM HAS A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHARACTERS BETTER THAN VIV HERSELF!

Honestly, it's probably due to the number of episodes that cause this many plotholes. If we simply increased the number to 12 or 14, we would've gotten more time to develop shit.

100% agree. I think the issue is that the show doesn't have enough episodes to tell its story. Eight episodes clearly isn't enough as a lot of things feel underdeveloped, rushed, and poorly structured in the show. Take the mystery of what happened to that angel for instance; this plotline is barely allowed anytime to linger and is just resolved in episode fucking 3. Then there are the characters, and a common problem seems to be how the show just introduces characters and expects us to instantly care about them, when we've barely got to know or see them.

If the show had more episodes, we would have more of a reason to actually CARE about these guys since we would have seen them more. And if the show had more episodes, it could develop its characters and the relationships between them. That's the core thing that holds HH back to me; it doesn't have much time to tell its story. The show should've had at least 20 episodes imo, because then it would have more time to tell it's story and the issues I just mentioned woulden't exist.
