3. Favorite love song?

I'm partial to Can't Bring Us Down by Austin Renfroe because it was "our song" w/ Husband when we didn't really have a song; Austin came and performed at our college and that's how we discovered it.

(Our song is now Perfect by Ed Sheeran (the original version - my BIL's song with his wife is the duet with Beyoncé; Husband and I had a good chuckle about it at their wedding).)

Special shout out to just about any love song in the country genre from the 90s to early 00s. They just hit different.

10. Favorite milkshake flavor?

As a general milkshake flavor, I'm a strawberry girlie. However, I have a countdown every year to the release of the Shamrock shake at McDonald's; and the Hot Fudge shake from Dairy Queen is the superior chocolate shake.

36. Cloud gazing or star gazing?

Star gazing. I might prefer cloud gazing under two conditions that will probably never happen: 1) I live somewhere warmer so that I could enjoy doing it in the winter, and 2) I'm not prone to sunburns and bug bites so that being outside for more than five minutes isn't absolutely miserable. But at the end of the day I am a night lover, so I'd probably still prefer star gazing.

Sampo appeared in the General's office, happily chewing on the sweets he was given. "You know, maybe you were right. People can change."

The Sleepy Lion looked over from his desk, somewhat amused. "Is that so?"

"Mhm!" Another chocolate is taken from the bag. "Sparks sent me some sweets. I know I told you she's a chaotic gremlin, but she can be sweet when she wants to be."

Jing Yuan opens his mouth to rejoice. However that happy feeling quickly disappears as he sees the thief's hair grow in real time. "My good fellow—"

"Maybe I got her all wrong. Maybe all she needed was a little attention. I did neglect her after I went to Javilo-Vi."

"My good fellow!"

Another piece of candy is plopped into the thief's mouth. "Oh! Don't let me be selfish, here, have a piece."

"My good fellow! You're growing hair!"

"Hm?" Sampo glances to where the General was pointing at. His hands. And sure enough, right in front of both their eyes, hair started to grow in the back of his hand. In real time. Not just there but on his arms, his cheeks. Where the sun definitely didn't shine nor should it shine!

The candy is dropped immediately as Sampo rushes out of the office. The last thing Jing Yuan hears is a very distressed thief yelling out "HANABIIIII!!!!"

Ugh. Was every Masked Fool this chaotic? He could barely handle Zhongshan! The General prayed he would never have to meet this little sister of his.

preference: sexuality? what’s your ‘type’?

so, I identify as queer -- I used to identify as bisexual, but grew more comfortable with "queer" once I realized that I don't have any desire to pursue men romantically and/or sexually, and I only feel attraction towards men every now and then. that's not to say people can't identify as bi if they feel how I do, but I'm personally just more comfy with identifying as "queer"! and personality wise, my type is definitely someone who I can converse with really easily and enjoy any amount of time with, someone who is a bit introverted like me and someone who doesn't shy away from showing care, kindness or vulnerability. physical wise, the people I've been attracted to all look very different from one another, so I don't really have a physical type

oh, yeah, for sure. like, I am super affectionate with all my friends in public, I love holding onto them and hugging them. and I definitely feel that with a partner, I'd naturally gravitate towards being physically affectionate in public, like with hand holding, hugging, greeting each other with a kiss, etc.

No. I love easily. I love freely. I tend to crush a lot. But I learned the difference between a crush and love a long time ago. There's maybe three or four people I've ever actually said the words "I'm in love with you," to.

Yes. All forms of love. Especially romantic lately for reasons. I'm trying to temper that and be patient. But it's very hard to when I'm desperately, madly, intensely in love with someone who can't/wont be in a relationship with me. Wiiiiiiiiiiii !! Thank you so much! I just LOVE these Wedding asks! and I am thrilled to share hc and drabbles with you! 🥰 I must admit I had a lot of fun with the Canach x Galaëd ones so I'll start with them! But fear not, the Trammander answers are coming soon!

1/Who first brought up the option of marriage? Was it an easy topic?

I think it might have been Canach.

As a passing joke, a remark on how a suit would look on Galaëd, or how a certain ring would compliment his bark. Galaëd did not think much of it at first — technically, they had already gotten married in Cantha during the events that would lead to the end of the Dragon Cycle, an administrative marriage, they waited for an eternity in an obscure administration's waiting room, signed a bunch of paper and there! they were married – so it certainly was a frustrating topic to broach for Canach.

2/Which one proposed? Was it grand and public? Discreet and private? Was it expected?

Canach eventually decided to propose when it became evident that Galaëd would remain obtusely oblivious to his hints lest he smacked him with a ring and flowers or something. Which is... precisely what happened in the end.

Because, unbeknownst to Canach, in the meantime Galaëd was absolutely freaking out and being a real nuisance to Rorschach, Sieran and Dairban because he had gotten - forged - a ring himself and was overthinking every flippin detail for his grand proposal. He had gotten a passiflora flower and encased it in crystal and had since proceeded to panic at every twist and turn, wondering if this was actually the right gift, he didn't want to reopen old wounds but Southsun was their first encounter after all and they had already revisited that scenario quite a few times — thorns! Galaëd, that was too much information!

And what if he ridiculed himself with such a sentimental gift, when Canach could have all the passiflora inflorescences he wanted now that he owned the Consortium... what do you offer to someone who could probably buy the world...

And Galaëd would probably eventually follow Dairban's advise and, in the Champion's own words 'grow a pair of pinecones' – you do realise you just called yourself a dickhead in the process, brother – and just propose if Canach was not about to beat him to that!

So when Canach arranged a date, on a clear summerset evening — a dinner with some music, a walk under the stars, and fireworks — Galaëd felt the weight of the ring in his pocket, pulling him forward like gravity. Until he finally gave in to the gravity and got down to one knee just as Canach pulled an ametrine brooch, engraved with a motif of stars and setting sun.

Canach froze. Lime enlightened the blooming night and a bouquet of roses crashed on his antlers.

"Is that a yes?", Galaëd asked, removing burgundy petals from his amber leaves. A hand grabbing his tie and pulling him into a kiss was all the answer he'd get.

"After you, Valiant."

19/What was the ceremony like? Any highlights?

The ceremony was fun and light-hearted, with just a flare of theatrics.

Faren had graciously offered the venue : his newly and quite flamboyantly restored manor, on the north-eastern border of Queensdale. The grand housing could host as many guests as desired, as long and as comfortably as the celebrations would require, and the guild's satelite patron was more than delighted to help organise the whole event and make Canach and Galaëd's vision of their day come to fruition.
