Another Update! I'm going to have my vacation soon so that means more time for writing... or playing games. Whichever my brain wants to do first I guess. I'm still going to finish this up first, though.

You crack your neck as you get your books from your locker.

“Y/N!” Wanda calls out then hugs you. You chuckle and kiss her.

“Okay, lovebirds, break it up.” Wanda snickers as Pietro pouts. “It’s so weird to see my sister being adorable with her girlfriend.”

“Oh.” You giggle. “Maybe you should get a partner too, Pietro.”

“It should distract you from us.” He groans and you all get to your classes.

You stretch your body as your last class ends. You’ve already completed the project with Angel and was just lounging around all class.

“When are we going to submit this?”

“When it’s due. So people won’t be pressured.” Angel nods and smiles.

“Babe!” Natasha calls out and tackles Angel whom you assist.

“Jesus, Romanoff, Angel isn’t going anywhere.” Natasha pulls away and glares at you.

“Shut up, Y/LN. I just got home an hour ago. We’ve parted for too long.” Angel smiles then pinches both of Natasha’s cheeks.

“And whose fault is that?” You laugh as you walk past them and take Wanda’s hand. You grin at her and she smiles at you.

“Hi.” You kiss her and she smiles. You walk outside when Alsie appears. She pants as you and Wanda stare at her.

“Y/N! Finally!” You raise an eyebrow at her.

“Al? What’s up?”

“The firm needs us, come on.”

“Is everything okay?”

“Yep. Just fantastic.”

“Sorry, Wands.” You kiss her and she nods. “Wait for Pietro, okay? I’m really sorry.”

“I’ll be fine. Go.”

“I love you!” You say before getting inside the car after Alsie.

“I love you too!” She shouts and waves as Alsie drives.

Alsie practically runs as soon as she parks the car and you follow her. You open the doors to the firm and see that everyone is running with documents and such. Cases and clients are handled by either your mom or one of her eight partners. Both Alsie and Valerie are studying Law so they could work here.

“What the h-“

“Y/N!” You and Alsie turn to see Tony, Pepper and Vision walk to you.

“Tony? What?”

“Dad said we need to find a new firm since our last one was kinda shitty since the new owners took over so I suggested we go here.”

“Why?” Tony laughs at you.

“You. You do know your own credentials and achievements, right?”

“Me? What did I do?”

“Besides keeping up with Angel?”

“You also know ANGEL GARCIA!?” Alsie shakes you and you release yourself. You glare at her.

“Yes! Why!?”

“She only won the international junior award for robotics! She’s a genius!”

“Don’t forget that she’s basically a Harvard Student since both of her parents teach there.”

“Right. And you and Vision are already qualified for MIT, right?” They both nod. “And Pepper’s going to Harvard Business School?” She nods and you hum.

“Y/N? Alsie? What are you two-?” Your Mom approaches with a file in hand and both you and Alsie speak up.

“Where’s the fire?” “What’s the problem?”

“Uh. In there, files for cases for Stark Industries need to be organized.”

“Gotcha.” Alsie runs to help and Zale turns to you.

“The problem is with this.” She gives you the file and you hum.

“Hey, guys.” The three turn to you and you smile at them. “I got to go.” They nod and you run with your mom.

“I didn’t know that she also helped here.”

“Well, I think she never got the chance to. Until now.” Tony hums and smiles.

You groan as you look at the files in front of you. It’s finally all done but it was already morning and you were pretty much sure that you were already late for your first class.

“Already called the school. You can rest for today.” You sigh in relief and let your head bang on your mom’s table. “Y/N.” Zale calls out but you don’t move. She moves your head and you look up to her. “Are you okay?” You nod. “Just tired?” You nod again. “Okay. Wait a second.” You yawn in response as Zale gets out of her office. You close your eyes and before you knew it, you were asleep. Zale sighs as she sees you. She puts the pillow under your head and the blanket over your body. “Rest well, little one.” She kisses your forehead and leaves you alone in her office.

“Where’s Y/N?”

“Probably at her family’s firm. Our sudden transfer made them busy.”

“Why would you do it on a weekday!?” Pietro holds back Wanda and she sighs. “We had a date planned today.”

“Sorry, kid. Our previous firm were just-“ Tony runs his thumb across his neck. “They were real assholes now.”

“What were they before?”

“Helpful assholes but now.” He shakes his head.

“They were just being petty since we would not raise their payment.”

“While in R Firm, they have reasonable payment and have the best lawyers around.”

“Why is that? Shouldn’t the Y/LNs get better payment or at least demand higher?” Angel asks. Natasha hums.

“I think it’s their principle.”

“They’ve always been that way, ever since Zale Y/LN founded the firm. It doesn’t matter if their defending or prosecuting.”

“But they did say that if the company have shady business or illegal conduct.”

“They would be the first ones to come after us.” Tony and Natasha shiver as they remember your mom.

You stretch your body as you wake up. You open your phone that’s been charging since you started working on the case with your mom. It seems that Wanda has messaged you for ten times. You giggle and reply. You look at the folder with ‘Stark Industries’ on the side. You’ve already seen what’s inside considering that you helped your mom compile the information inside. You get your phone and go outside of Zale’s office. You see Dahlia with Zale and they were talking. Dahlia lets her eyes wander and sees you.

“Good morning, nak, nice sleep?” You nod and look around. Everything seems to have calmed since yesterday and not one person is running around frantically with a folder on their arms.

“Where’s Al and Val?” Zale looks at another door and points at it.

“Sleeping. How are you feeling?”

“Fine. Just a bit hungry.” They both laugh and Dahlia gives you a box of donuts.

“Eat up.” You beam and take it.

You were waiting for Wanda outside the school. You finished up everything in the firm and wanted to surprise her.

“Y/N.” Wanda calls out and you smile. You pocket your phone and stretch out your arms. She giggles before hugging you. “I thought you were busy?”

“Finished up. I wanted to see you.” She hums and pulls away. You grin as you take her hand. “Shall we go on a date?” She smiles and nods.

Two Months pass by before you know it and everyone is just waiting on you and Wanda to do the deed… only if you weren’t so scared.

It’s Monday again and both you and Wanda went on a date yesterday which ended up with her sleeping next to you… which is not bad at all…

“FUCKING SHIT.” You whisper to yourself in the bathroom. Your member is hard when you woke up so you ran to the bathroom before Wanda could even wake up.

Beta Females with members can be quite rare and so this brings you quite the situation. There are condoms for Alphas, of course there is, but it’s not quite for Betas. Some Betas have reported several side effects when using them… You don’t want any side effect, for fuck’s sake, specially for Wanda.

“Fucking hell.” You get the pill bottle from your medicine cabinet and take one. It was prescribed for you to control your member since you actually went to the doctor when it appeared… a memory you would rather erase from your mind. You wait for a few seconds until it finally calms down and sigh. It’s been a month since Wanda first stayed over in your room. Since then, when you wake up with her scent flooding your nose, your member makes it appearance.

‘Since when did I have no self-control?’ You think as you take your shower. It’s Saturday, Wanda typically stays over when it’s Friday or the weekend. She assures you every time that it’s okay with her parents since you technically haven’t met them yet. You go outside and see Wanda scrolling through her phone. She smiles when she looks at you.

“Morning.” She greets and you gulp.

Wanda had just woke up, clearly. Her hair is still a mess and her pajama, which was really yours, she just borrowed it, is slightly off her shoulder. Her voice which greeted you was still hoarse and damn it.

‘Fucking shit.’ You nod and take a deep breath to calm yourself down.

“Good morning.” You face her and she was already standing and taking her clothes off. You quickly look away as your heart start beating faster. You should be used to this. She’s always here during the weekends but damn it. ‘Damn it.’ Wanda pokes you and you turn to her. You blush as you see her naked with only a towel covering her body.

“I’m going to shower.” You nod and she practically skips to your bathroom. You hold your chest as you sit on your bed and try not to combust. She knows her effect on you.

You were eating breakfast when Wanda comes down from your room.

“Morning, Auntie Zale and Auntie Dahlia.” She greets your moms who beam at her. You turn away as you continue eating. Wanda sits besides you and holds your hand. You turn to her and she smiles.

“Morning, Wanda.” They greet her and Dahlia puts a plate in front of her. Wanda thanks her and begins eating.

“We’re home!” You flinch as both your sisters came through the door. You stand abruptly and Wanda looks at you.

‘Shit!’ They didn’t know that Wanda has stayed here already… or been to your room. College has them occupied and you took every advantage you could get. Because if they knew and they’ll most probably know, then your fucked. Teasing at every chance they get and most probably tell Wanda all of your embarrassing moments in your life that you would rather forget. You groan and intercept the two.

“And what are you doing home?” You glare at them and they both raise an eyebrow at you. They cross their arms. Sparks fly between the three of you and you knew you were going to lose. It was two versus one, after all. That didn’t mean you wouldn’t try.

“It’s been months, move aside, Y/N.” Alsie says menacingly but you don’t falter, you’ve learned from a young age that when it comes to it, Alsie can be the most menacing out of the three of you… you were the most determined though.

“Go change your clothes first!” You grit your teeth. “You both smell awful.” A bluff but hey if it won’t let them see Wanda then why not?

“No, they don’t.” You flinch and the two push you aside as Wanda smiles at them. “You both smell good.” You curse in your head as the two practically looked like dogs. Shit. With tails wagging on their butts, your two older siblings crowd her. You growl and they get stiff as a board. They turn to you and you glare at them, they gulp and turn to Wanda with a cooler aura rather than dogs practically looking for her attention. Wanda tries to stop her laughter, seeing your two alpha sisters cowering before your fallen self was funny and somewhat adorable knowing that you were doing it for her.

“Wanda, right?” Wanda manages to nod and Alsie holds out her hand. She flashes the nicknamed ‘Prince Charming’ smile that you trademarked. If Alsie flashes that, Omegas and Betas alike practically throw their underwear at her. Even most adults get affected by it. “We didn’t meet before since I kinda just grabbed Y/N and swooped her right after school.” Wanda nods. “I’m Alsie, her oldest sister. Nice to meet you.” Wanda shakes her hand and smiles sweetly.

“Nice to meet you too. Miss Alsie.” They both whistle which somehow made you blush. You stand and dust off your clothes.

“Polite and nice. Where’d you get Wanda, sis? Do you-“

“Don’t finish that.” You growl. Valerie laughs as you go to Wanda’s side.

“And I’m the illustrious middle child, Valerie.” Val finishes with a bow and Wanda giggles. Her giggle made you calm down a little but you were still annoyed.

“Nice to meet you, Miss Valerie.”

“Don’t call them with Miss.” They both gasp and you roll your eyes. “They’re both dorks.” They shrug.

“True. But still.”

“Respect us, little sister!” You look at them, unimpressed written all over your face and they both stop.

“Respect is earned, not just given away.” They both gasp again and you turn Wanda away. “And finish your breakfast!” She giggles and nods as you sigh.

You yawn as you and Wanda walk through the neighborhood. You’re escorting her to her house.

“Sleepy?” She asks and you nod. She chuckles and holds your hand. “That’s what you get for staying up all night with me.” You shrug.

“I don’t care if I don’t have any sleep if I can spend more time with you.” It was just words. But Wanda can’t help but blush at your words. You’ve always had that effect on her but she can’t stop her reactions to it lately. She groans as she hides her face with her hands.

“Why are you so smooth?” You chuckle.

“Maybe because I’m only honest.” She peeks at you and you grin at her. She gets redder and you hug her. “God! Thank you for letting me meet the most beautiful and cutest woman in the world!” You shout and you can hear several dogs bark at your statement. You and Wanda look at each other then burst into laughter. You place your forehead on hers and she closes her eyes. You smile as you do the same. The both of you are just appreciating the moment when someone clears their throat. You both open your eyes and see Pietro on his night run.

“Hey, lovebirds.” You wave as Wanda rolls her eyes.

“Training?” He nods.

“I have to. Since coach will be choosing the representatives for Regionals.”

“Ah.”

“Anyways. I have to go complete my run so I can have some sleep. See you later, Wands.”

“Sure, Piet.” He scoffs at the nickname then jogs away.

“Wands and Piet.” She groans and you giggle.

“Don’t you dare, Y/LN.” You hold up your hands in surrender but snicker as the two of you continue your walk.

“Are you two joining?” You and Wanda look at Angel then at each other. She tilts her head… what was Angel talking about? Pietro lightly nudges her.

“Listen when someone is talking, Wanda.”

“She means the stupid contest.” Angel tosses a piece of bread at you which you promptly dodge. You raise an eyebrow at her and she smiles.

“It isn’t stupid if it’s joined by practically everyone.”

“It’s stupid because you and Natasha are going to win anyways.” You turn to Wanda. “They won last year despite being freshmen.”

“And only one week official.” Natasha smugly states and you roll your eyes.

“Besides, it’s all in good fun since Tony and Pepper are joining too.”

“Even Bucky and Steve are down.”

“Why, though?”

“Besides bragging rights?” You nod.

“Well, the thousand dollars prize doesn’t hurt either.”

“WHAT!? There was a prize like that!?” You slump down on your seat. “I’ve never heard of that.”

“Why? Do you need a thousand dollars?”

“Yes and no? It’s complicated right now and I do have savings but then again…”

“What do you need it for?” You look away and groan. Do you really have to tell them??? No, a lie is much better.

“It’s for a gift! A gift for someone!” You chuckle nervously. Don’t let them catch on. Don’t let them catch on. Wanda takes your hand and squeezes it. You wince as she smiles at you. You try to free yourself from her grip to no avail. Natasha chuckles at you two.

“Be careful, Y/LN.“ You look at her and she just smiles. “Omegas are scarier if they’re jealous.” She teases and you panic.

“Okay, okay, I’ll tell you just-“ Wanda lets go and you nurse your swollen hand. You lean into Wanda and she blushes as she can feel your breath on her ear. “It’s for us. Just don’t tell them, please.” You lean back and she tilts her head. You put your index finger on your mouth and she nods.

“So? Tell us!” Angel throws a piece of bread at you and you shield yourself with your hand.

“Stop that, Angel.” She shrugs.

“Tell us.”

“No.” She was about to throw another piece when your phone rings. You see it’s Alsie.

“Heya, sis.”

“Hey! About that things you asked me, since Venus can know about it.” You nod eagerly even though Alsie can’t see you.

“And? What did she say?”

“She knows someone who actually makes them but it’s expensive.”

“Oh really? How much?”

“200 per box.” You groan and Alsie chuckles at your reaction.

“How many?”

“About 10.”

“For fuck’s sake.” You mumble under your breath.

“Sorry, sis.” You can hear Alsie get something. “It’s out of my or Venus’s hands…” You sigh. “Want me to get you one?”

“Over my dead body, Al. If I’m going to get one, I’ll pay for it with my own money.” She laughs.

“That’s the spirit, sis. You’re that determined to finally do it.”

“I know.” You sigh. “I just want confirmation.”

“Gotcha. Okay, Venus is here so I’ll send you the details later, alright?”

“Okay. Thanks, Al.” You hang up and sigh.

“So? Gonna join? Since you need the money for something?” You look at Wanda who smiles at you.

“Wanna join?” She laughs and cuddles into you.

“If it’s with you then okay.” You raise an eyebrow at her.

“You got someone else to join with?” She rolls her eyes and push you away.

“Shut up.” You laugh and hug her.

“We’re in.”

You were in your last class with Angel and as always, she was sitting next to you. You can smell Natasha’s scent from her.

You write in your notebook and put it between you and her.

Are you in heat?

You nudge her and she looks down at your question. She hums then writes her answer.

Yeah, why?

You look down for a bit and hum. Because you’re sure that if you were to forget what class you were in and close your eyes then you would guess that it was Natasha that was right beside you.

Just that it’s obvious.

She giggles at your answer.

That’s the point of marking, Y/LN.

You sigh and close the notebook… what would happen if you would mark Wanda? You blush as you melt at the thought. Your scent would be on hers. She would be reminded of you all day. You open the notebook again and write a different question.

How did you know Natasha was the one?

You poke Angel who looks at you then you point at the notebook. She hums and takes a moment before answering.

We just clicked, I guess? And I was willing to lose my virginity to her too.

You groan inside at her answer.

Seriously? That’s it and you let her mark you?

She hums then smiles at your exasperated face. You were annoyed, she can tell that much.

Yep. I want to be with her even if we weren’t soulmates. If she found someone else then fine. I would be heartbroken but at least I tried, you know?

You nod then sigh. Why are you such a coward? Why can’t you just see if Wanda… really is the one for you.

I admire that. You were courageous.

She giggles softly at your reply.

I wasn’t though. I was scared shitless. Many questions were running through my mind that night but they were just blown away by Natasha. She was just so caring and loving… then I realized that even if I did lose my virginity… even if she wasn’t my soulmate then it was okay.

You smile then close the notebook again.

You yawn on your way to the library. Wanda should be there waiting for you as always. You stop as you get your phone out. You open up your savings and see that it should be enough… Is one box going to be enough?? Will you be able to stop yourself? You can’t help but blush at the thought. You really are going to ask her. You’ve reached the library but this time, as you look inside, you don’t see Wanda at your usual spot. You type a message for her.

You: Wands? Where are you?

She replies in an instant.

Wanda: I’m sorry!! I forgot to tell you!! Vision and I are working on a project together and we’re at my house.

You gulp. Somehow that statement didn’t sit well with you at all… Are you jealous? You shake your head. You groan as you get outside the school. You trust Wanda… with your heart and life… but do you trust Vision? Sure he was Tony’s brother but never once did you ever had a conversation with him.

There was the usual banter with the whole group but that was it. You’ve at least talked with everyone else among the Avengers but never him.

The camera pans around the empty room, clearly looking for someone.

[ where are they ? ]

Finally it stops on the two people standing centre stage, who wave with big smiles. They both bow before looking back at the camera.

"Hello, we're your hosts! Chloe Kwon,"

"And Kim Choa, or Saebeom!" They clap their hands in excitement.

[ ahh, the excitement is contagious !! ]

"But before we can meet the contestants, we have to meet the judges," Chloe states, matter-of-factly, with a finger in the air. Saebeom beams and leads the camera away from the stage, towards the judges panel where they'll be sitting.

The first to make an appearance is the CEO herself, Valerie Jang. She gives the camera a curt nod before taking her seat.

...

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : valerie ]

"I'm expecting everyone to try their best. I'm not expecting perfection. Just effort," she musters a stiff smile. "I can't stand people who don't put in their all."

...

After she takes her seat, another figure comes in behind her, giving the camera a shy smile. She takes her spot next to Valerie.

"Hello, I'm Lee Seulmi, but you may know me as Soul Lee!" She bows her head and the next two judges walk side by side to the judges panel.

Valerie has a bit of a sour look, but it quickly switches to a smile as the final two take their respective seats. She and Seulmi both bow their heads.

One of them gives the camera a small nod and smiles. "I'm Chaeyoung, EV♡L's lead vocalist and former member of IOI.

...

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : chaeyoung ]

"I'm not strict, exactly," she says, looking directly into the camera. "Not like the others anyway. But I'm honest, and I know some people can't take honesty."

...

The final judge gives the camera a small wave.

[ ah, the final judge is the only man !! ]

"I'm Yang Yongsu, and I'm excited to be judging the participants." As the camera shows all the judges, they smile and wave.

[ they were all so scary a second ago 😖 ]

The camera returns to the stage, which is now empty. The spotlight shines as three people slowly make their way onto the stage.

[ ??? ] : Wow! This place is so.. big !!

The camera zooms in on the shortest of the three, and she gives it a big smile and wave. "Hi!" She giggles and covers her face shyly before running to meet the others centre stage.

One of them looks at her and grimaces, but she doesn't take notice and gives the two of them a big grin. All three of them bow at the judges.

"Hello," they say simultaneously. Seulmi giggles, bowing her head.

"What are your names?" she says, clasping her hands together.

The shortest one laughs and cups her face. "Hello, I'm Mimori's love Yanfei! I'm the second youngest and main rapper!" She points finger guns at the judges before hiding her face behind her hands again.

"Ahh, so cute!"

[ yanfei is adorable ^^ ]

The contestant from before clears her throat and tosses some hair over her shoulder. "I'm Kang Narin, also known as Wisteria. I'm a member of Melpomene." Yanfei smiles and gives her a thumbs up.

...

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : yanfei ]

"I may be coming off as totally cringe, but I'm just a little awkward," she says, rubbing the back of her neck. "I just- I want everyone to like me. I'm sure we'll all be great friends. I hope, at least."

...

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : wisteria ]

She looks up at the camera with disgust. "I'm not saying Yanfei's a try-hard, but, she's a try-hard." She laughs. "Like, way too hard."

...

The final contestant steps forward, giving the judges a charming grin.

[ hm, who's this ?? ]

"I'm Claire. Claire Eun. I'm a member of Flairie Garden and this is my second survival show." She crosses her arms and gives the others a smug smirk.

"You were on Produce 48, right?" Yongsu asks, and Claire nods.

"Mhm. I came sixteenth, overall." Wisteria rolls her eyes but Yanfei is grinning from ear to ear. "I know my way around a survival show."

...

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : claire ]

"I came to win. Nana or whatever her name is may think she's top dog. But I was the one on Produce 48," she kisses her teeth whilst looking at her nails. "Not her."

...

"Girls," Valerie starts, rising from her seat and giving the girls a smile, "behind us, there are 24 seats, all numbered. You may choose where you sit, the higher your number, the better your skills."

Claire and Narin give each other a look.

[ there's a bit of tension ]

"So, find your spot. It won't be set in stone." The three girls walk towards the cluster of seats. Yanfei sits comfortably on number 12; not too high, not too low. Right in the middle.

Claire and Narin ascend, the latter sitting at number 6. The final of the three ascends until she reaches the seat at the top; number one.

Yanfei gasps. "That's like, really high," she says. "You're saying you're like, the best. The other girls aren't even here yet. What if Sunmi walks through the door?"

"Sunmi is not walking through that door," Claire retorts, leaning back comfortably in the chair. Their conversation is interrupted as the lights dim and another three contestants walk in.

They just look at each other for a moment, before smiling at each other. "Hello," one says to the other two.

"Hi." They turn around and bow to the judges. The blonde looks expectantly at the brunettes, silently willing one of them to introduce herself first.

"Um, hello. I'm Nadia. Nadia Garcia." She gives the judges a small smile, fumbling over her words. "I'm a member of Cherryberry under Angelico, but, um, I was a recent addition."

Yanfei smiles brightly. "Another foreigner! I was scared I'd be the only one. I hope she sits next to me." She covers her face and giggles. "She's like, really pretty."

The other gives the judges a bright smile. "Hello, I'm Bang Minhee, member and leader of The Path." She looks at all the girls. "Let's do well."

The blonde bows shallowly before clearing their throat. "I'm Kang Kyulha, but most people know me as Byul. I debuted as part of New Eden." She gives the judges a shy wave.

"Cute," Seulmi mutters with a smile. "Take A seat!" she says, standing up and gesturing behind her. Yanfei has her fingers crossed, watching as the two make their way to the chairs.

"I was super scared I'd be the only foreigner. And Nadia's super pretty too." She giggles. "I really hope she sits next to me."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : nadia ]

"I'm a little nervous. Not scared, just nervous." She laughs awkwardly. "Which is normal. The other girls seem a little, eh.." she shrugs. "I don't know. I really hope we all get along."

Kyulha sits on the 24 seat, and Claire laughs. "Sorry, sorry. It's just- that's the bottom, right?" She swirls a strand of hair around her finger. "You must have major confidence issues."

Narin scoffs. "At least she doesn't have an inflated ego."

[ there's a lot of tension 😰 ]

Yanfei laughs awkwardly. "Come on guys, we're making her feel bad." She gives Kyulha an apologetic smile. "I hope we can be friends, Kyulha." The girl in question gives her a court nod and a small smile.

Nadia sits on the 10 seat, Minhee sitting at number 9 and giving her a court nod before turning back to the front, and Yanfei gives her a smile and wave. "Hello," she says. "I'm Yanfei. Let's do well." Nadia nods from her seat.

"Try hard~" she says in a singing voice.

The lights dim for a third time, and two more contestants emerge. They both bow. "Hello."

"I'm Hana Nakamura, a part of Melody!" she says, bowing once more with a big grin. "I'm really excited to be here."

Narin gives a strained smile. "We can tell."

Claire gives her a pointed look. "Who pissed in your cereal this morning? Or are you always like this?"

Narin sticks her tongue out. "Wouldn't you like to know."

The second contestant plays with her fingers. "I'm Juliet. I'm part of Pandora, and I'm under Angelico."

Nadia smiles. "She's under Angelico too! Ah, I wish we had come in together."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : Nadia ]

"Nothing against Kyulha, it was just a bit.. awkward? She's quiet and I get that," she says, playing with her hands. "But it was so, so awkward."

Hana turns to Juliet with a smile. "My stage name is Jules! It's basically your name but shorter."

Juliet smiles back. "Take a seat, girls." As the Hana and Juliet take their seats - 18 and 11 respectively - Chloe and Saebeom take the stage once more.

With the camera now showing the whole stage, their matching blue and pink outfits are clear. And cute!

[ give the stylist a raise ! ]

Chloe smiles. "Hello hello! With eight out of 24 contestants here, let's get started on the first batch alliances for the first round."

"But Chloe," Saebeom says, 'distressed', "what is an alliance?"

"Well, Saebeom, I'm glad you asked. An alliance is a group of three girls who will work together. It has a captain, a co-captain and an ace!"

"So, what you're saying is these girls need to figure out their teams," Saebeom says and Chloe nods her head. "Well, I have this envelope. I think their teams are in it!"

Chloe pours. "Let me read them out, since I knew what alliances were." Saebeom shakes her head with a giggle.

"No. I have the envelope."

"Why don't we take turns, I'll read the first alliance out." Before Saebeom can object, the envelopenis in Chloe's hands.

"Our lovely angels," Chloe starts, "we are gathered here today for you to find out who you will be teamed with for the first mission.

Jules laughs, covering her mouth. "Gosh, it sounds so official when she says it like that."

Yanfei laughs. "Sounds sorta like a wedding. You know, 'we are gathered here today'," she says, imitating Chloe. Juliet laughs next to her.

"Hurry up Chlo I want my turn."

"Fine fine," Chloe huffs. "Ahem, our first alliance is… drumroll!" The eight girls tap their legs with excitement. "Nadia, Claire and Kyulha!"

Claire's face drops for a moment before she puts on a smile, beaming at the other girls. "Well, aren't you guys lucky? I have a bit of survival show knowledge, so as long as you're rolling with me, you guys will be just fine.

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : claire ]

"I'm soo excited," she says with a fake smile. "I mean, Nadia seems cool. But Kyulha has some serious self esteem issues." She kisses her teeth. "Not on my watch."

Kyulha gives Claire a nervous smile. "That's great," she says meekly.

"Yeah, I'm sure we'll do great Claire." The girl in question clicks her tongue.

"You sound so formal, it's not a business meeting. We're.." She pauses. "We're friends!"

Saebeom clears her throat, taking the envelope back from Chloe. "Our second alliance, drumroll!"

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : jules ]

"I hope I get someone nice. I don't mind who it is, as long as they're nice."

"Yanfei, Juliet and Minhee." Yanfei smiles at the girl sitting next to her, and leans over to give a wave to Minhee.

"I'm guessing you're gonna be captain, since you're the leader of your group." Minhee smiles and giggles.

"Maybe, don't get my hopes up!"

Narin looks at Hana, realising they're the final two left. "Hm," Narin hums.

Hana puts her hand up. "Um, I'm guessing me and Narin are in an alliance, but who's our third person?" Chloe and Saebeom look at each other before bursting out laughing.

"Well, three is an odd number and eight is an even number," Chloe states, once again with pointing her finger.

Saebeom nods. "Yes. Three does not go into eight," she says, shaking her head.

"And we did say this was only the first batch. When the other girls arrive the missing puzzle piece will be found!"

"And you'll all be reunited!" Hana giggles and Narin musters a smile.

"Now!" Saebeom says, clapping her hands together. "While we wait for our second batch of Angels, let's learn a little more about each other."

Chloe nods. "We'll start from the top and work our way to the bottom." Everyone looks expectantly at Claire, who tosses hair over her shoulder.

"Well, I'm Claire, and I'm part of Flairie Garden. We're a pretty big deal-"

"Never heard of you," Narin interrupts. Claire raises a brow, but continues anyway.

"Whatever, as I was saying, we're a pretty big deal. Three out of four of us were on Produce 48. I ranked highest." She leans in as though she's telling a secret. "I was rigged out of the lineup."

Nadia and Jules gasp, but Narin just scoffs. "Really? That's so wrong!"

Nadia nods. "Totally wrong."

Claire crosses her arms and leans back. "I know. Seriously. But I'm like, whatever. Moved on. We're pretty big money makers."

"Yeah, sure." Claire gives Narin a pointed look.

"Whatever princess. It's your turn. What makes you so special?"

"I'm part of Melpomene," she says with a shrug. "And unlike your nugu group, we're something. Like, a big thing. It's like, whatever, not that important. My favourite colour is pastel blue and I really like dramas. And I like reading."

Minhee looks at her. "I think I've heard of you guys. You were added to the lineup a little later though, weren't you?"

Narin shrugs, looking at her nails. "Like I said it's whatever. My group isn't the only thing I mentioned."

Nadia smiles. "Me too, I was added to my group a little later too. They're like my sisters."

Narin sits up and groans. "I said it's whatever. Just drop it, Jesus." Everyone goes silent for a couple of beats before Minhee speaks up.

"Um, well, I'm a member of The Path, I'm a main vocal and owner of an amazing and strong voice," she says laughing. "I have two twin siblings and I love singing and meeting new people. Hmm, my favorite color is red and my favorite hobby is reading."

Everyone nods, still stunned. "Well, I'm Nadia. I love the color blue and mint chocolate chip flavored anything. I love to dance and do makeup! Mine or anyone else's. I love makeovers, they're so fun."

Yanfei gives her smile. "Me too! Well, I like wearing makeup. I model for a makeup brand, you should totes give me a makeover sometime!"

Claire cringes. "Totes? Who even says totes? What is this, Mean Girls?" Everyone laughs except Claire.

Juliet stops laughing and clasps her hands together. "I'm Juliet, I'm from London, um-"

"London?" Claire gives her smile. "Wow. I'm French."

"You had your turn Marie Antoinette." Narin says giggling.

"Don't call me that."

"Um, okay. There’s not a lot I can say about myself, I think, haha. My favourite colour is orange and in my spare time I like to play video games, oh and I like to write songs whenever I can!" The girls all nod.

"I could never like orange, it's so, bleh!" Yanfei exclaims with a laugh. "But good on you. I'm Yanfei, and I'm part of Mimori! We're under Celestial and we have a really fun concept!"

Minhee gives her a smile and thumbs up. "I like pale yellows and greens. And I love painting! So, um, yeah. That's me. I'm not that interesting either. But I like making friends!"

"Ah, the two boring ones are in a team," they laugh and high five each other.

[ minhee's team seems to be close ]

Jules laughs. "I'm Hana Nakamura, I'm pretty boring too. My favorite color is red, it’s a nice color. Hobbies? Uhm, I used to be in a music club during highschool but that’s it really."

Yanfei pouts. "I'm torn between being happy Minhee is on our team and wishing all the boring people were one team."

Kyulha looks around awkwardly, before licking her lips and looking at the other girls with a wobbly smile. "I'm uh- I'm Kang Kyulha. I'm part of New Eden and I'm the second eldest. I'm not really that popular though. I guess you guys can see why."

"Aww, Kyulha, don't think so lowly of yourself!" Jules exclaimed. "It's not good to think like that." Kyulha shrugged.

"I don't think lowly of myself, I'm just a little bit awkward. I never really grew used to the attention. It's overwhelming."

Narin looks at her, confused. "If you're so anxious then why'd you become an idol?"

Kyulha shrugs again. "I wasn't- I wasn't always anxious. I was just shy. Then the shows started and and promotions became a thing and my anxiety just kickstarted."

Minhee pouts. "I think you're pretty brave Kyulha. If I was you I would have quit the second anxiety started kicking in."

Yanfei nods. "I agree. I'm your number one fan Kyulha!"

All the girls murmur in agreement and Kyulha smiles. "Thanks guys."

"Everyone's so nice," she says with a small smile. "I feel like I don't belong here. But I'm glad I'm here. They're nice. It's nice."

"Aww, Kyulha don't cry!" Jules rushes from her seat to sit next to the crying girl and cradle her in her arms. "We're all your friends, we don't wanna see you cry."

"Yeah," Nadia says, standing up to get a better view of her teammate. "We're all in this together!"

The girls all nod and hum in agreement, although some rather begrudgingly. "We're gonna be alright."

Just as the other girls are about to speak, someone runs onto the, now empty, stage. They stand there for a moment, confused. "Sorry- I just, um, ran a little late. Is this the right place?"

"Who's this chick?" Narin questions. Chloe, from somewhere off camera, proudly exclaims "She's your final teammate!"

[ now the team is complete ! ]

Jules smiles, waving at her while Kyulha slowly sits up, wiping her face. "Hello, hello, I'm Hana Nakamura! But everyone calls me Jules."

The new girl nods and waves. "Um, hi. I'm Yashiro Mizuki. Nice to meet you."

"Ah, you're from Japan too!" Mizuki nods, smiling and getting excited. "Come sit next to me, number 17 or 19!" Mizuki sits at 17, giving Jules a wide smile and waving to a still sniffling Kyulha.

[ ah, the japan line has too much energy 😴 ]

"Ah, Mizuki you're so cute!" Mizuki bows her head and gives Yanfei a big smile. "We're gonna get along well!"

Narin laughs. "Are you calling yourself cute?"

"Not like that," Yanfei counters with a giggle. "I meant- Ugh, you know what I meant."

Nadia smiles. "Their personalities are similar." Yanfei nods.

"Yes! Thank you!"

The lights dim again and the girls all hold their breath, excited. "Ooh, who's gonna come this time?" Mizuki asks, grabbing Jules' arm.

Three trainees, presumably the next alliance all walk in. One gives the other two a once over before pressing her lips into a thin line. "Hello," she says curtly.

The blonde gives her a small smile, standing next omg I her centre stage. "Hi," she says, tense. The final one walks out and everyone can't help but look at her.

"Wasn't she on Squid Game?" Minhee says to no one in particular. Nadia nods next to her.

She gives the other two a lazy smirk and salutes. "Yo." She stands next to them, hands in her pockets. The other girls give her a look before looking at each other.

[ let's hope these girls aren't in an alliance ]

"Hello, judges. I'm Ahn Minji, member of Over and Out. We're in this weird phase where we're under a company but not really, so um, yeah. Don't ask what company we're cause I don't have a solid answer."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : mizuki ]

"There's a bit of tension," she says honestly. "Minji seems a little scary. She's tall and gives 'I will literally crush you' vibes. It's nerve racking."

The blonde smiles. "I'm Ahn Kaeun. I'm not as famous as any of you guys. I'm like, nugu. I go by Indie and I'm under JYP. So, yeah."

The final one smiles. "I'm Saint Lovina. I debuted in 2014 as part of Aphrodite."

Claire giggles. "That's a basic name."

"It's better whatever the hell Flairie Garden." Narin counters.

Saint gives Claire a pointed look. "Sorry, but that's my seat."

"No. No it's not. I got here first so deal with it."

Saint raises a brow. "Listen to your elders. That's my seat."

Claire rolls her eyes. "Sit at number two. I got here first. Your problem, not mine." Saint doesn't argue anymore, ascending and sitting in the second seat.

Indie sits next to Kyulha, at 23. Minji climbs up and sits at 5, ignoring the girls' lingering gazes. "You're acting like you've never seen a pretty girl before," Minji comments.

The girls stop staring. It's silent for a bit longer, until Chloe and Saebeom make their way into the stage.

"These three are veterans," Saebeom whispers to Chloe.

"Like us?" she jokes. "Anyways, we're excited to announce the three veterans will be in an alliance together!" The three in question all look at each other.

"****." Yanfei shoots up, immediately looking at the idol nestled in the number two seat.

"Can we swear? We shouldn't swear, right?"

[ no yanfei. you can't swear. ]

Minhee gives Saint a sour look. "No. We shouldn't. Especially on tv."

Saint scoffs. "Whatever. Sorry, I guess."

"Half of us are here," Nadia says. "I wonder who the other half are."

Yanfei nods. "Me too. It's exciting but scary at the same time."

[ we're excited to see the final twelve too! ]

Jules looks at Mizuki. "You're the only trainee so far right? Everyone else has debuted already."

Mizuki shrugs. "Yeah, I guess."

Chloe and Saebeom cheer as the lights dim, clapping their hands as the next alliance walks onstage with their hands intertwined. They stop in the middle of the stage, but they're caught up in their own conversation.

"And I was like, duh!" The other two laugh, but the one in the middle pouts. "I'm serious. It was so obvious!"

The one on her left smiles. "Sorry that happened Aya." Everyone gives them a strange look, and the three of them all bow.

"Hello!" the one in the middle says beaming. "I'm Apinya Thongkham, but most people call me Aya. Or Khami. Either one," she concludes with a shrug.

The one on her left beams and clasps her hands, bowing once again dramatically. "And I am Lee Yongsun. Most people call me Sunny!"

"I'm Baek Suyeon!" The three all look at each other and burst out laughing.

[ aww, friendship goals !! ]

"We're all trainees!" they say at the same time.

"I'm a trainee under YG." Suyeon.

"I'm under SM." Yongsun.

"And I'm from Belladonna Records. We're pretty underground." Aya.

Mizuki beams. "I'm a trainee too! Hana I'm not the only trainee anymore!"

Her friend laughs and nods. "Right!"

The three of them sit together at 16, 15 and 14; Yongsun, Suyeon and Aya.

The room is buzzing with chatter, fifteen of them all sitting and talking.

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : aya ]

"I didn't think I'd make friends this quickly, but here I am!" She smiles.

…

"Nine more, right?" Minhee asks, Nadia nods next to her.

"We're almost there," she jokes. The lights dim once more, but instead of three, six girls appear.

One of them looks, the tallest one, looks around before giving an awkward smile. "Hello," she says quietly. "My name's Weng Xiening. But most people know me as Della."

Yanfei smiles and waves. "Are you Chinese too? So am I! Half, anyway." Della gives the energetic girl a small bow, and she points at the 13 seat next to her. Della makes her way up slowly.

The other five look at each other. "I'm Yurina Ikari. Most people call me Yuki."

The shortest one puts a hand over her mouth in disbelief. "No way, my name's Yuki."

"Oh." Silence.

"That's so cool!" They give each other a hug. "Where should we sit?" Yurina asks.

Yuki points at 20 and 19. They sit together, smiling.

Saint scoffs. "What is this? Preschool? Walking hand-in-hand and being buddy buddy with each other."

The final three look at each other. "I'm, uh, Yeseul. From Sapphism. We're under Edenism," she turns and gives Valerie a small wave. One the elder does not return.

"Yeah." The other two nod awkwardly.

"Yoon Riah, but most people know me Rosario. I'm under Cloud Entertainment."

"I'm Iseul. Oh Iseul." The girls stand there silently for a moment, before splitting up and finding their seats.

[ that was awkward 😓 ]

Chloe and Saebeom make their way centre stage. "Chloe, there's only three more!"

Chloe nods, clapping her hands. "I know! I'm so excited!" The lights turn off, and there's nothing but a spotlight shining on the entrances.

The three final contestants walk onto the stage, nervous. All eyes are on them.

Summary: Established Penemily. Based on the tumblr prompt: Stop moving and let me braid your hair. Emily is having a bad day after a rough case and Penelope tries to cheer her up with a full spa day. I posted this early because I am avoiding work right now.

Cases involving children always hit Emily hard but they had been especially difficult now that she and Penelope were expecting a baby. Penelope was four months along and had just begun to show. The whole squad knew about the pregnancy within the first week of Penelope getting the positive result. She was too excited to keep it secret even though telling everyone so early made Emily very nervous. She tried to act like she had it all together in front of Penelope but everyone else knew she was freaking out. On every flight she was reading baby books trying to prepare and have Reid quiz her on baby knowledge. Every time she got one wrong she would groan loudly and find another baby book to study. However on the flight home this time the first thing that Emily did was call Penelope before everyone else got onto the jet.

“Hello, my beautiful raven-haired wife. How can I be of your assistance?” Penelope asked as soon as the facetime pulled up.

Instead of responding, tears just began to roll down Emily’s face. Penelope’s heart broke as she watched the love of her life break in front of her, “Oh my sweets, look at me.”

Emily wiped her tears away before the squad could catch her and looked at Penelope, “I just wanted to know you and the baby were okay.”

Penelope smiled, “Mini Prentiss and I are doing great. We will see you as soon as you get home, okay hot stuff?”

Emily laughed at this, “You know we can’t keep calling our baby Mini Prentiss forever. We are going to have to find a name for them.”

“I know but thinking about a mini Emily Prentiss growing inside my belly just brings me immense joy,” Penelope giggled, causing Emily to blush, “Be safe getting home. I love you.”

“I love you too Penny.”

Penelope stood outside of her car watching as the team slowly filed out of the jet. All of their heads hung low as the stress of the case finally began to catch up to them. Emily was the last one to file down the stairs. As soon as she reached the bottom Penelope called out to her. Emily’s head jerked towards the noise and a large smile broke across her face. She immediately ran over to Penelope lifting her high into the air. She twirled her around a couple of times before placing her back on the ground showering her in kisses.

“I thought I was going home with Tara,” Emily said, holding Penelope close to her and curling her head into Penelope’s neck, “This is a much better arrangement.”

“Mini Prentiss couldn’t wait for Mom to come home,” Penelope said, giving Emily another kiss, “Plus I figured you could use a safe space to let it all go.”

Emily nodded and helped Penelope back into the driver’s seat. When she got to the passenger seat she smiled as she picked up her favorite blanket. Penelope always wanted to make sure Emily could be cocooned in her favorite things when they had a long or difficult drive. As she sat down she curled the blanket around her inhaling the lavender laundry beads Penelope insisted on using in every load. Emily would never admit it but it was her favorite smell. Once she was settled with her seatbelt locked into the place she extended her hand out and placed it gently on Penelope’s thigh. Penelope leaned over to give Emily a quick kiss and then started the car. As they drove home Emily sobbed, laying her head against the window. Penelope ran her thumb gently over the back of Emily’s hand calming her down the only way she knew how. Sitting in silence and letting Emily cry it out. When Emily wanted to talk about it she would but all she needed right now was to know that she wasn’t all alone. As the tears slowed Emily’s eyes began to flutter close. The rest of the twenty-minute drive she snored, getting the first good sleep in four days.

Emily had just sat her bag down in the bedroom as Penelope finished filling the bath up with warm water. Emily could already smell the eucalyptus, Epsom salt, and various essential oils Penelope had filled the bath with. She walked into the bathroom wrapping her arms around Penelope and burying her face into the back of her neck.

“I got your bath ready my love,” Penelope smiled.

“You are joining me right?” Emily pouted.

Penelope confirmed she would be joining and shortly after Emily was lifting up Penelope’s shirt giving her belly a quick kiss before helping Penelope out of her sweatpants. As soon as Penelope was undressed she went to work on removing every article of Emily’s clothing. She kissed Emily gently along her collar bones and her neck enjoying the small moans that escaped from Emily’s lips unconsciously. Emily insisted that Penelope sit in front because she ‘didn’t want to squish the baby’. Penelope laughed at this comment but couldn’t deny that there was a certain comfort that always came when she was wrapped in Emily’s arms. While they sat in the tub Emily lazily ran her fingers over Penelope’s baby bump. Penelope loved when she did this so absentmindedly. It was the softer side of Emily that no one else in the world got to see.

“What about the name Kate or Kirsten if it is a girl?” Emily asked as she continued to make small circles on Penelope’s stomach.

Penelope mused over this idea for a while, “I love it. Then it could be Kayden if we have a boy.”

Emily kissed Penelope’s cheek, “Yeah we aren’t having a boy.” Penelope laughed at this comment turning to look at Emily, “Oh and how do you know this? We aren’t going to know that information till tomorrow. Are you profiling our unborn child?”

Emily shrugged, “No it is just a feeling. Kate Garcia Prentiss. That’s our baby girl. Or if we go with Kirsten then Kirsten Valerie Prentiss.”

“You really want to give our baby my maiden name?” Penelope asked a blush coming to her cheeks.

Emily reached her hand out, “Of course I do Penny. I want this baby to be a combination of both of us.”

“I don’t know how I got so lucky to have you as my wife Emily Prentiss,” Penelope leaned forward kissing her gently.

Emily wrapped her hands around Penelope, “I am the lucky one, Penelope Grace Prentiss. Now let’s get out of here before the water gets cold. I can’t have my sunshine sitting in cold water.”

Emily wasn’t exactly sure how Penelope had convinced her for the complete spa day experience but here she was. A clay mud mask was pasted onto her face with Moana playing on the tv in front of them. She was even more confused at how she had allowed Penelope to braid her hair. She typically never lets anyone touch her hair. Penelope did her best not to pull too hard on Emily’s hair but after the fifth time, she squirmed Penelope let out a large sigh.

“Stop moving and let me braid your hair, Emily,” Penelope said as she squeezed her legs harder around Emily to stop her from moving.

“You told me this would only take five minutes, Pen. I want to cuddle you already,” Emily pouted, crossing her arms.

“Well my love if you stopped moving I would have already been done by now,” Penelope giggled, “Now sit still and I will be done before you know it.”

Emily pouted one final time and then sat as still as possible. Two minutes later Penelope was done with the braid and dragged Emily to look at it in the mirror. As Emily stood with an excited Penelope behind her she couldn’t help but smile. Her bangs were still covering most of her forehead but her black hair was now twisted into a beautiful fishtail over her shoulder. Emily gently touched her fingers along Penelope’s hard work.

“You know my mom never braided my hair. She never had the time,” Emily whispered, “Will you teach me how to braid our daughter’s hair?”

Penelope grabbed Emily into a hug nodding as more tears began to roll down Emily’s face, “Of course I will my love. You are going to be a great mom.”

“You really think so?”

“I know so. It’s just this feeling I have,” Penelope smiled leaning up to give her a kiss, “Now let’s go to bed.”

Emily nodded and followed Penelope to their bed. As they curled under the covers Emily wrapped her arm around Penelope and curled against her chest. Penelope gave her a kiss on the forehead and squeezed her tightly. Shortly after they laid down Emily drifted off into a comfortable sleep. The case was almost completely erased out of her mind as she listened to the sound of Penelope’s heartbeat in her ear. Team X Reader Word Count: 1,036 Summary: The beloved team member, you, is kidnapped by the unsub. The team tries their best to get you and the other hostages back before it’s too late. Requested: Yes, @awkwardcandyghost Warnings: Kidnapping

Spencer’s POV:

“Guys!” I heard Rossi yell.

The team rushed into the woods and saw Rossi alone, “Where’s Y/N?” I asked.

“I-I don’t know! He took off before I could see him.” Rossi admitted.

“Are you serious?” I yelled.

“This could’ve happened with any one of us, Reid.” JJ reminded me.

“No, I wouldn’t of let this happen. No matter what, our main goal is keeping her safe. She’s a high school student!” I pointed out. I could hear myself yelling but I couldn’t stop.

“What matters right now is getting her back, not putting the blame on Dave.” Hotch reminded us.

We all nodded and got back in our cars. I drove silently as Hotch and JJ speculated Y/N’s whereabouts.

Hours passed, Penelope’s fingers ached from how much she typed but she continued as tears streamed down her face. I stood pacing in her lair as Morgan attempted to calm her down, “Baby Girl, we gotta focus.” He said.

“I-I know! I’m trying!” She gasped. She mumbled to herself, “She’s just a kid...she’s just a kid...”.

I heard a beep on her screen, “Oh!” She said.

I rushed over beside her, “What is it?” I asked.

“Carl Landrum. He lives with his daughter Valerie Landrum who has a very heavy mental health back ground. When she was younger she was found strangling her cat until it died before cutting the poor thing up and-- not important! She’s crazy.” She explained.

“So you think that her father Carl is capturing the victims and then giving them to Valerie as some type of twisted present?” Derek asked.

“Yes, I’m sending you his address now!” She asked.

The car stopped abruptly in front of an old stone house with steel doors. We rushed into the building to hear screams, “Spencer?! Help!” I heard.

I rushed towards the noise down a steep set of stairs. I was met with a hall full of steel doors. Two were being banged on loudy and from one I heard my name being called, “Y/N?” I called out.

“Spencer, let me out!” She called out.

“Alright just umm--back up I’m gonna kick down the-- er, Morgan is gonna kick down the door!” I yelled.

Morgan ran up and kicked down the door. I peered in and it was dim, Y/N wore a pink dress with a white lace collar. Her hair was tied into a neat ponytail and her makeup looked as though it’d been done to make her look like a doll.

“Spencer!” She called out before pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back, all the germs I may be getting crossed into my mind but I pushed them out because I was just so fucking glad she was okay.

One by one the doors came down, and Carl and Valerie who were on the third floor were arrested on sight. “I wanna go home...” She murmured.

“We’re gonna get you home soon, kid, I promise.” Hotch promised as his arm was around her protectively.

I sat in the bullpen right next to Y/N, she was leaning into Hotch and JJ walked into the room.

“Where’s my mom?” Y/N asked.

“Well, she’s actually at work right now and can’t get away. She said she knows how serious it is and will be here as soon as possible. She told me to tell you she loves you, and to make sure you were safe.” JJ explained.

She nodded and JJ handed her a bag. “I figured you’d want to change out of that dress. I brought you one of my shirts and shorts. I know it’s a bit chilly out but I figured my pants might be too long.” JJ explained.

“It’s perfect. I’ll go change, thank you.” She said.

“No problem, oh, here.” JJ said.

She handed her a plastic pack, makeup wipes.

“Thanks.” She responded before walking away.

“So, I don’t think we should let Y/N sleep home alone tonight.” Garcia mentioned.

“Well her dad will be home, won’t he?” Hotch asked.

“She hasn’t told you?” Garcia asked.

“Told us what?” I asked.

“Her Dad died when she was eight.” Garcia explained.

“What? How?” I gasped

“He died on the field, he was a Marine.” Garcia answered.

Silence fell over the room.

“I wonder why she never told us...” Morgan thought aloud.

“The same reason she doesn’t tell us when other stuff is going on.” Hotch replied.

“Other stuff?” JJ asked.

“Sometimes she’ll come in. You can tell something is happening, but she doesn’t say anything because she feels her problems aren’t a big deal compared to ours, let alone to the victims we’re studying. So she keeps her mouth shut.” Hotch said.

Everyone nodded.

“So where’s she gonna stay?” Morgan asked.

“She can stay with me.” Hotch and I said at the same time.

“Actually, she can stay with you. I think staying in a house with people she doesn’t know maybe a little more uncomfortable than just you.” Hotch added.

I nodded, as much as I knew she’d be just as comfortable with Hotch, I cared too much about her to let her out of my sight after all this happened.

She walked back into the room wearing a plain grey shirt and black shorts with black sandals. Her hair was brushed out and fell across her shoulder, her face was fresh and she wore a plastered-on-smile.

“So, Y/N, we think you’ll probably be alone tonight. Your mother feels very guilty but--”

“I get it. I mean, how many truck drivers can deliver gas to the other side of the country?” I asked.

I smiled at her, feeling guilty that she couldn’t be with her mother after such a long day, “Well, if you didn’t want to sleep in your house alone tonight, you can stay with me.” I offered.

You could always see her emotions plain on her face, she was thinking, “Sure.” She said abruptly.

“Alright, do you wanna go now?” I asked.

She nodded before going to give the rest of the team hugs.

“If you need anything, call me.” Hotch said.

“Promise.” She whispered.

He smiled and put his hand on her forehead, “Love you.” She said.

“You too.” He said.

“Bye, guys.” She said.

All the girls stare at the stage in anticipation, and finally the three figures make their way to the centre of the stage.

"Hello," they say simultaneously.

"I'm Rockhaya Nichelle Diop. I'm technically still a trainee but I'm also part of Lovemonth Grey!" She bows.

"I'm Jo Yewon, and I'm under Smiley Entertainment." Yuki gives the girl and she waves back. "I'm a trainee too."

"Me too," Kei says with a smile. "I'm under Celestial!" The three of them bow and occupy the final seats. Chloe and Saebeom enter the stage once more with big grins.

"First and foremost, we need to announce the aces for each alliance," Saebeom says and Chloe nods in agreement.

"After that we need to announce the captains and co-captains."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : minhee ]

"I really hope I get to be captain. I know that ace is probably the most important role, or the ones fans tend to look out for, but." she shrugs. "I don't know. Captain feels more natural to me."

"Can the aces please make their way to the stage after their names are called," Chloe says. "Ahem, first we have Juliet Kang!" The girl stands up slowly, making her way to the stage. "Then, Kang Narin!"

"May Yurina Ikari, Yoon Riah and Nadia Garcia make their way to the stage!" One by one, the girls leave their seats and walk up to the stage.

"Finally, we have, drumroll!" Chloe pauses for dramatic effect, before Saebeom takes the card and calls out the final four names.

"Ishii Yuki, Weng Xiening, Ahn Kaeun and Rockhaya Nichelle Diop!" Chloe pours.

"Hey! I was gonna call them out." Saebeom only sticks her tongue out in response. Chloe gives her playful glare before clearing her throat. "Well, let's hear a round of applause for our aces!"

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : kaeun ]

"I was not expecting to be an ace. It feels weird. Nice, but weird."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : wisteria ]

She shrugs, looking at her nails. "I'm not surprised. I'm an ace and that Produce girl isn't. She's all bark, no bite."

"Now, to announce our beloved captains!" Saebeom exclaims, clapping her hands and looking at the girls on stage excitedly. "Only, we won't be announcing them.

Chloe shakes her head. "Oh no, no, no. Our aces will do the honors instead! Isn't this exciting?" Each girl is given a card, and each with a name on the back.

Juliet, being the first girl called up, is the first to call her captain. "The captain of our alliance is.. Bang Minhee." Everyone erupts into cheers.

"See," Yanfei calls to her teammate, "I told you you'd be captain." The girl gives Yanfei a big smile and a thumbs up, makes her way to the stage and stands next to Juliet.

Narin is the next to call hers out. "Um, Hana Nakamura? Yeah, you're our captain!" She says with a big grin. Jules makes her way to the stage and gives the ace a hug.

"Um, Weng Xiening?" Yurina calls with uncertainty. The tall girl stands and gives her a wave.

"Call me Della," she says once she's standing next to her. Yurina nods and the two high five.

Riah clears her throat and looks at the card. "Oh Iseul!" she says with a small smile. The trainee jumps up and skips next to her, beaming.

"It's a pleasure to be working with you Rosario-ssi." The elder returns the smile and ruffles her hair. Nadia looks at her card and looks back up to try and find her captain sitting in the crowd.

"Claire. Claire Eun."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : claire ]

"I'm sure Nana's feeling smug cause she's an ace." Claire clicks her tongue. "Whatever. I'm captain, which is way more important."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : nadia ]

She gives the camera a worried look. "Two words," she says, holding up two fingers. "Oh. No."

Yuki looks at her card and claps happily. "Our captain is Seo Yein!" Yeseul gives an excited squeal which Yuki eagerly returns. The two embrace whilst still squealing.

"Omg!" The captain pretends to faint and Yuki catches her.

"Oh, captain! You can't leave us before the challenge even starts!" The two giggle.

Some of the other girls give them a look, but Kaeun is reading out the name on her card. "Um, Ahn Minji." Minji saunters onto the stage and gives Kaeun a curt nod, not saying anything.

"Our captain is Kei. Kei Imankyul."

Chloe and Saebeom whisper to each other for a while, ignoring the camera and giggling. "So," Chloe says, clapping her hands together and leaving Saebeom giggling behind her. "Onto our co-captains."

"Basically, if anything happens to the captain, or if for any reason the captain wants to step down, the co-captain can take their place!"

Chloe pouts. "It sounds awful when you put it that way! Just say 'the co-captain steps up'. It sounds better like that."

Saebeom rolls her eyes and sticks her tongue out in response. "Fine. If anything happens to the captain, or if for any reason the captain wants to step down, the co-captain steps up."

The two giggle. "So, the co-captain for team Minhee is Yang Feihong!" The short girl stands up and skips over to her alliance.

"The co-captain for team Hana is Yashiro Mizuki!"

"The co-captain for team Della is Baek Suyeon!" The two girls walk up to the stage and give each other big smiles.

"We've got this, yeah?" Suyeon says, hand in a fist and trying to encourage Mizuki. The latter nods.

"Yeah."

"The co-captain for team Iseul is Lee Yongsun!" Shooting the camera finger hearts, she runs up to the stage and stands next to her team.

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : yongsun ]

"I know co-captain seems pretty useless, but I promise to help my team and make sure we come out on top."

"The co-captain for team Claire is Kang Kyulha!" A handful of the girls cheer as Byul makes her way to the stage, standing stiffly next to Claire and Nadia.

"The co-captain for team Yeseul is Apinya Thongkham."

"The co-captain for team- Gosh there's a lot," Saebeom jokes. "Anyway, the co-captain for team Minji is Saint Lovina!"

"Last one," Chloe says, pretending to be out of breath. "Ok, the co-captain for team Kei is, none other than, Jo Yewon!" The final girl stands next to her team.

"Look!" Saebeom says, wiping away a fake tear. "They're all reunited!"

"Now, it's time for our judges to announce the first challenge!" The four judges look at each other, before Valerie gives Yongsu a nod and he stands up.

He clears his throat. "Your first challenge is the Alliance Cover Challenge. There will be four groups of six-"

"Which means two alliances will be working together," Chaeyoung clarifies.

"Yes. Each group must cover a song of their choice." He gives the contestants a smile. "Good luck."

The camera focuses on the two hosts, Chloe and Saebeom. Only they don't seem to be on stage. Chloe gives the camera a big smile. "Can you guess what time it is?"

[ no. what time is it chloe? ]

"It's time for our wonderful Angels to see the dorms before they get to work!" Saebeom says, imitating Chloe's matter-of-fact tone with a wave of her finger.

Chloe gives a playful glare. "Yes. Yes it is." They laugh. "We're on the bus taking us there now!"

The camera shows all the girls sitting together, talking and laughing. Aya and Kei are sitting together, despite being on separate teams, and laughing.

"Hello!" Aya says, waving to the camera.

[ hello aya ^^ ]

"We were just thinking about what our dorms might look like! I really hope they're not pink," Kei says, cringing at the word pink while Aya giggles.

The camera pans to team Minhee sitting together at the back of the bus. "Hi!" Yanfei says, shooting finger hearts at the camera with a smile. "We are team Minhee!" Her and Juliet give the girl a big hug.

[ ahh, so cute ]

Minhee smiles and the girls all laugh. "I'm so excited to see the dorms! We're placing bets on what colour they're going to be. I say pastel blue because it's such a pretty colour and pink is way overused."

Juliet shakes her head. "But blue is for boy group survival shows. If they want to be unique then they'd do yellow." Minhee laughs and holds the two girls' hands.

"I disagree with both of you. They'll be pink, trust me. They'll go basic and uncreative." The girls start arguing and the camera slowly pans away, instead zooming in on Nadia and Clare, who seem to be deep in conversation.

"I'm telling you, Garcia, that it's go big or go home for the first mission. That's the one that makes the most impact on viewers." Nadia nods along, and Kyulha hums quietly in response, although she doesn't seem to be paying much attention.

"What song do you think we should do? Our concepts are all different so it's not really like we have common ground."

Kyulha hums again, although this time she sits up. "I think we should go cute. It's a simple concept to pull off and I'm pretty sure the other girls will go hardcore. It's um– Just my opinion though."

The girls all nod.

[ team claire is getting straight into it ]

All the girls on the bus seem to be chatting happily among themselves, given the exception of Saint, who seems to be keeping to herself. Everyone else chest excitedly before the bus finally comes to a stop.

[ here are the dorms ^^ !! ]

Everyone steps out and walks into the large building. The walls are painted a pale purple, and everyone stops and stares in awe.

"This place is massive!" Mizuki exclaims, clapping her hands together and smiling. "And it's so pretty!"

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : rockhaya ]

"This place is so pretty! I can't believe we'll be staying here."

All the girls start to talk among themselves once more, and each alliance is given a small camera on a selfie stick. The two hosts smile fondly at each of the girls.

Chloe looks at Saebeom, confused. "What are the selfie sticks for? I thought the girls would start exploring?" Saebeom nods matter-of-factly at Chloe and smiles.

"Yes, but first they have to complete their first mission."

"Mission?"

"Mission! The alliance that completes the mission first will get a fun prize!" Chloe smiles and nods, and all the girls gather around to find out what their mission is. "Let's see which girls can find the practice room first. Remember winners get a price and bragging rights!"

"So, on your marks, get set. Go!" All of the alliances split up, the girls running and laughing as they try to find the practice rooms.

The first alliance to start their search is team Yeseul. Yuki holds the selfie stick which shows her smiling face and her two teammates beside her as they run around.

Aya stops by double doors and calls the rest of her team over. "Let's look in here! Even if it's not the practice rooms, it'll be cool to see what we'll find!" Yeseul and Yuki come up beside her, and together the three of them open the door.

[ have they found the practice room already? ]

The girls all gasp as they look inside, but instead of a practice room, it's a game room! There's a shelf full of board games in the corner, a large tv and console in the centre, and comfortable couches and bean bags.

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : yuki ]

"This is such a cool room! I can already tell we're going to love it here." She shrugs. "It may not be the practice room, but it's a start."

Yuki picks up a sign off the floor and hangs it on the door. The sign reads 'Game Room', which will let everybody else know what room it is. "Let's keep moving!" the wave says excitedly. The three continue their search.

The next group is team Della, with Yurina and Suyeon running ahead while their captain double checks all the doors from behind.

"This hallway feels like it never ends, gosh." Suyeon nods in agreement, before the girls come face to face with double doors.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Is this it?" Suyeon calls Della over, and the tall girl does the honours of opening the double doors to reveal the room inside.

Much like team Yeseul, it's unfortunately not the practice room. Instead, it's a room with a long table in the centre and chairs around it.

"Is it a dining room?"

"Maybe a meeting room?"

Della picks up a sign that reads 'Meeting Room' and hangs it on the door. Yuki smiles and high fives her teammates before they continue their hunt for the practice rooms.

[ this house must be massive!! ]

The girls continue searching before team Iseul approaches another set of double doors. Riah looks around at her teammates before pushing them open, and the girls all laugh with excitement.

[ ahh, it's the practice rooms at last! ]

Yongsun smiles and hugs her teammates before all three run into the practice rooms. "We found it! Oh my gosh we found it!" Iseul and Riah laugh as the three hold hands and skip around the practice room.

"Angels, the dated practice rooms have been found. Please make your way to the left wing of the dorms to join our lovely winners."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : rosario ]

"We did it! I wonder what our prize is."

Soon all of the girls are gathered in the practice room where Seulmi and Chaeyoung await. The two judges bow before giving each girl a gentle smile.

"Team Iseul, you've found the practice rooms and there for have won the first mission," Chaeyoung states, each member giving each other a thumbs up. "As your prize, you get to choose which alliance you'll be working with for the first challenge."

"Please think about it, and choose wisely," Seulmi continues. "Teamwork makes the dream work."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : iseul ]

"As leader, I feel like it's my job to choose the alliance that will bring out the best in both teams. But, I feel like attitude and compatibility also come into play as well." Iseul shrugs. "I don't know what to do."

The three winners separate from the rest of the girls, whispering among themselves. "I'd say maybe Nadia's alliance. Claire's been on a survival show before and knows what she's doing," Riah says.

Yongsun hums in understanding but shakes her head in disagreement. "She doesn't seem like much of a team player. Nadia and Kyulha have the skill, however. They're veterans."

"If we want real veterans we'd go for Kaeun and her alliance. They might be older but they've got the experience," Iseul counters.

The girls stand in silence for a while before Iseul steps forward, Riah and Yonsgun exchanging confused looks. "We choose team Minji."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : rosario ]

"What the hell." Riah shakes her head. "Like, what the actual hell."

Yongsun stands next to the captain, tapping her shoulder gently. "But we wanted team Claire. We didn't even discuss properly–"

"Are you sure?" Seulmi cuts in. Iseul nods, despite her teammate's protest.

"Yes. I'm sure."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : minji ]

"I don't care what alliance we're with. It's not an issue for me. But for them, it seems to be a different matter." Minji kisses her teeth. "Iseul isn't a good captain, plain and simple."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : yongsun ]

"This is not fair. Not. Fair."

"Okay then. Team Iseul and Team Minji form our first unit," Chaeyoung confirms. The two teams stand together, although Riah and Yonsgun refuse to look at their captain.

The other girls all exchange knowing looks, but nothing is said. "Now then, for the next unit. Please lineup in your teams." Every alliance stands in line, each with their captain in the middle.

"Team Minhee, please step forward." Minhee, Yanfei and Juliet each take a step forward in turn.

"Team Kei, please step forward." The two alliances look at each other and smile, the two captains bowing.

"I hope we work well together and do well for our first challenge," Kei says.

"Me too. I look forward to working with you, Kei."

"Unit 2, please stand aside while we assign the other alliances their units," Chaeyoung says warmly.

"Team Hana, please step forward."

"Team Claire, please step forward."

Yongsun and Riah try to hide their sour expressions, looking at the ground and avoiding to look at their desired alliance.

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : kyulha ]

"The air suddenly became so tense. It felt like my heart was being crushed, you could cut the tension with a knife."

"Team Della and Team Hana, you will form our fourth and final unit. You will have three days to choose a song to perform and decide on line distribution."

Seulmi nods. "Good luck."

Unit 2 stand together, everyone discussing possible songs to perform. "I think we should do something older, but classic. Maybe SNSD or F(x) or something," Yanfei offers, hands braiding Yewon's hair. Rockhaya nods.

"F(x) definitely. We'll be unique and they haven't got a single bad song on their discography."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : rockhaya ]

"I think we've got this. We've got a good team and good captains. We'll ace it." She puts her hand up in a fist. "Unit 2 fighting!"

Minhee hums absentmindedly. "That makes it hard to choose. We could either go their most iconic song or–"

"Red Light." Kei says quickly. "It's iconic but not too much. Definitely unique, I think." Everyone nods, silently thinking about whether it's a good idea or not.

[ unit two is going well ]

The scene quickly switches to Unit 3, Clate standing proudly in the centre of the practice rooms and her members listening intently to what she has to say. Narin sits in the corner, scowling.

"Cute us so basic. So, so basic. We should do a Loona song. Everyone loves Loona," she says, looking at her nails.

"If you would listen to what I have to say, then you'd understand. What if we cover a boy group, but, instead of busting our asses to Kick It, we could do a Seventeen song or something. Cute, but it's a boy group making us different–"

"That idea sounds so dumb." Nadia gives Hana a sorry look, Kyulha holding Mizuki's hand.

"You sound dumb, Nina. Shut up and let me explain, for Christ's sake!"

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : mizuki ]

"This is the worst. The. Worst. They hate each other! We are never getting anywhere."

"It's Narin–"

"I agree with Claire!" Nadia says quickly, standing up and cutting Narin off. "I agree with Claire," she says again, slowly. "It's a good idea."

Hana nods. "Yeah. Everyone else is either going to cover a girl group with a cute concept, or a boy group with their opposite of cute concept. By doing Claire's idea we're doing a bit of both."

"You guys sound so dumb right now."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : wisteria ]

Narin makes a talking motion with her hand. "They sound stupid. This is all they're doing." She does it again. "Waffling on."

Everyone thinks for a moment, not saying anything. "I think it's a good idea.." Kyulha speaks up quietly. Everyone nods in agreement except for Narin, who just huffs and looks away whilst kissing her teeth.

Unit 1 stand together in silence. No one moves to say anything, and Minji watches from the sidelines with her hands in her pockets. "Any ideas? I know we've got three days but it's really not that long."

Kaeun tosses some hair over her shoulder. "Maybe.. Maybe a boy group song? Like, NCT or Monsta X or something. Besides Minji, everyone here is pretty 'girly'. Show a new side of ourselves."

Iseul nods earnestly, but Riah and Yongsun don't speak. "Perfect! That sounds perfect."

[ INDIVIDUAL CAM : saint ]

"I know I'm not the best person to say this, but Iseul is a horrible captain. She needs to shut her mouth." Saint winces. "I feel like I lose brain cells every time she talks."

"We're a team, Iseul. It's not just you," Riah speaks up, and Iseul shrinks under her gaze. "What happened to teamwork?"

[ rising tensions 😖 ]

It's silent once more, and nobody says anything.

[ i wonder if unit 1 will make it through ??? ]

The camera quickly switches to the four judges, each discussing the outcomes they hope will come from this challenge.

"Kyulha needs to learn to speak up," Seulmi explains. "She's anxious and I understand, but the other girls will walk all over her if she stays so quiet and reserved. Not to mention it might leak into her performance."

"Claire is a good performer. So is Narin, so is Saint. But their attitudes are horrid. They need work, and I'm hoping a team challenge can help fix that." The judges all nod at Yongsu's words.

Valerie kisses her teeth, icy glare fixed on the floor. "My hopes for the girls are high. My expectations however, are not. I hope they manage to change my mind, because I will not be kind or sugar coated at all."

[ let's hope the girls manage to please ]
