The advent of colonial rule ushered in a tumultuous period for Vedic education. The traditional Gurukuls faced disruption and decline, as the colonial powers imposed their Western educational system. One notable development is the emergence of preschool franchise models that integrate Vedic principles into early childhood education. South Asian and Hindu Influences in ATLA (Part 2)
disclaimer: i was raised culturally and religiously hindu, and though i've tried to do my research for this post and pair it with my own cultural knowledge, i'm not an expert on hinduism by any means. should i mess up, please let me know.
please also be aware that many of the concepts discussed in this post overlap heavily with religions such as buddhism and jainism, which might have different interpretations and representations. as i'm not from those religions or cultures, i don't want to speak on them, but if anyone with that knowledge wishes to add on, please feel free.
Part 1
In the previous post, I discussed some of the things ATLA got right in its depictions of desi and hindu cultures. unfortunately, they also got plenty of things wrong - often in ways that leaned towards racist caricatures - so let's break them down, starting with...
Guru Pathik
both the word "guru" and name "pathik" come from sanskrit. pathik means "traveler" or "he who knows the way" while guru is a term for a guide or mentor, similar to a teacher.
gurus were responsible for the very first education systems in ancient india, setting up institutions called gurukuls. students, referred to as disciples, would often spend years living with and learning from their gurus in these gurukuls, studying vedic and buddhist texts, philosophy, music and even martial arts.
however, their learning was not limited merely to academic study, as gurus were also responsible for guiding the spiritual evolution of their disciples. it was common for disciples to meditate, practice yoga, fast for days or weeks, and complete mundane household chores every day in order to instill them with self-discipline and help them achieve enlightenment and spiritual awareness. the relationship between a guru and his disciple was considered a sacred, holy bond, far exceeding that of a mere teacher and student.
aang's training with guru pathik mirrors some of these elements. similar to real gurus, pathik takes on the role of aang's spiritual mentor. he guides aang in unblocking his chakras and mastering the avatar state through meditation, fasting, and self-reflection - all of which are practices that would have likely been encouraged in disciples by their gurus.
pathik's design also takes inspiration from sadhus, holy men who renounced their worldly ties to follow a path of spiritual discipline. the guru's simple, nondescript clothing and hair are reflective of the ascetic lifestyle sadhus are expected to lead, giving up material belongings and desires in order to achieve spiritual enlightenment and, ultimately, liberation from the reincarnation cycle.
unfortunately, this is where the respectful references end because everything else about guru pathik was insensitive at best and stereotypical at worst.
it is extremely distasteful that the guru speaks with an overexaggerated indian accent, even though the iranian-indian actor who plays him has a naturally british accent. why not just hire an actual indian voice actor if the intention was to make pathik sound authentic? besides, i doubt authenticity was the sole intention, given that the purposeful distortion of indian accents was a common racist trope played for comedy in early 2000s children's media (see: phineas and ferb, diary of a wimpy kid, jessie... the list goes on).
furthermore, while pathik is presented a wise and respected figure within this episode, his next (and last) appearance in the show is entirely the opposite.
Tumblr media
in the episode nightmares and daydreams, pathik appears in aang's nightmare with six hands, holding what appears to be a veena (a classical indian music instrument). this references the iconography of the hindu deity Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge. the embodiment of divine enlightenment, learning, insight and truth, Saraswati is a member of the Tridevi (the female version of the Trimurti), one of the most respected and revered goddesses in the Hindu pantheon... and her likeness is used for a cheap laugh on a character who's already treated as a caricature.
that's bad enough on its own, but when you consider that guru pathik is the only explicitly south asian coded character in the entire show, it's downright insulting. for a show that took so many of its foundational concepts from south asia and hinduism and yet provided almost no desi representation in return, this is just rubbing salt in the wound.
Chakras
"chakra", meaning "circle" or "wheel of life" in sanskrit, refers to sources of energy found in the human body. chakra points are aligned along the spine, with energy flowing from the lowest to the highest point. the energy pooled at the lowest chakra is called kundalini, and the aim is to release this energy to the highest chakra in order to achieve spiritual enlightenment and consciousness.
the number of chakras varies in different religions, with buddhism referencing five chakras while hinduism has seven. atla draws from the latter influence, so let's take a look at the seven chakras:
Muladhara (the Root Chakra). located at the base of the spine, this chakra deals with our basest instincts and is linked to the element of earth.
Swadhisthana (the Sacral Chakra). located just below the navel, this chakra deals with emotional intensity and pleasure and is linked to the element of water.
Manipura (the Solar Plexus Chakra). located in the stomach, this chakra deals with willpower and self-acceptance and is linked to the element of fire.
Anahata (the Heart Chakra). located in the heart, this chakra deals with love, compassion and forgiveness and is linked to the element of air. in the show, this chakra is blocked by aang's grief over the loss of the air nomads, which is a nice elemental allusion.
Vishudda (the Throat Chakra). located at the base of the throat, this chakra deals with communication and honesty and is linked to the fifth classical element of space. the show calls this the Sound Chakra, though i'm unsure where they got that from.
Ajna (the Third Eye Chakra). located in the centre of the forehead, this chakra deals with spirituality and insight and is also linked to the element of space. the show calls it the Light Chakra, which is fairly close.
Sahasrara (the Crown Chakra). located at the very top of the head, this chakra deals with pure cosmic consciousness and is also linked to the element of space. it makes perfect sense that this would be the final chakra aang has to unblock in order to connect with the avatar spirit, since the crown chakra is meant to be the point of communion with one's deepest, truest self.
the show follows these associations and descriptions almost verbatim, and does a good job linking the individual chakras to their associated struggles in aang's arc.
Cosmic Energy
the idea of chakras is associated with the concept of shakti, which refers to the life-giving energy that flows throughout the universe and within every individual.
the idea of shakti is a fundamentally unifying one, stating that all living beings are connected to one another and the universe through the cosmic energy that flows through us all. this philosophy is referenced both in the swamp episode and in guru pathik telling aang that the greatest illusion in the world is that of separation - after all, how can there be any real separation when every life is sustained by the same force?
this is also why aang needing to let go of katara did not, as he mistakenly assumed, mean he had to stop loving her. rather, the point of shedding earthly attachment is to allow one to become more attuned to shakti, both within oneself and others. ironically, in letting go of katara and allowing himself to commune with the divine energy of the universe instead, aang would have been more connected to her - not less.
The Avatar State
according to hinduism, there are five classical elements known as pancha bhuta that form the foundations of all creation: air, water, earth, fire, and space/atmosphere.
obviously, atla borrows this concept in making a world entirely based on the four classical elements. but looking at how the avatar spirit is portrayed as a giant version of aang suspended in mid-air, far above the earth, it's possible that this could reference the fifth liminal element of space as well.
admittedly this might be a bit of a reach, but personally i find it a neat piece of worldbuilding that could further explain the power of the avatar. compared to anyone else who might be able to master only one element, mastering all five means having control of every building block of the world. this would allow the avatar to be far more attuned to the spiritual energy within the universe - and themselves - as a result, setting in motion the endless cycle of death and rebirth that would connect their soul even across lifetimes.

A beginner's guide to Vedic Astrology
1. Vedic astrology is based on a very different way of perceiving the world. It will take some time to get used to it but be patient. Its not as quick and easy to compartmentalize as western/tropical astrology. it addresses the human condition in all its nuance and complexity. It will take you a lot of time to understand even one nakshatra but this is normal and part of the process. Avoid looking at twitter/tumblr posts that try to tropicalize Vedic astrology by giving really weird takes with 0 context or explanation. Read blogs and articles, do a google deep dive, there are many websites run by Indian astrologers who will provide you with good introductions to your chart/naks.
2. There are 27 nakshatras divided over 12 rashis, these come under the rulership of 8 planets and are further classified on the basis of their aim, tattva, ganas, yoni animal, function etc. Familiarize yourself with the mythology of your naks and their basic classification. This is the most accessible starting point for a newbie.
3. Zodiac does not automatically become redundant in the Vedic system. They are called "rashi" and each rashi houses 2 or more nakshatras.
4. 90% of the time the moon occupies only ONE nakshatra over the course of one day. its UNCOMMON for the moon to occupy more than one nakshatra in one day. if you don't have someone's birth time and use 12 noon as the standard time (which is common practice since its right in the middle of the day with 12 hours behind and 12 hours ahead) 90% their moon sign will be correct. Since the ascendant changes every hour or so, its hard to narrow it down unless you know the person and can make an educated guess.
ive seen people argue that xyz is ashwini moon instead of bharani moon etc and please go to a good vedic birth chart generating site (i recommend either astro seek or faraway) and you can check their birth chart for every hour of the day of their given birthday if you have the time. the MOON STAYS IN THE SAME NAKSHATRA OVER THE COURSE OF ONE DAY!!!! its RARE for it to be in the preceding or following nak and it usually only happens for a VERY small window of time.
5. if you can, just get your chart read by someone who knows their stuff. avoid consuming the misinformation rampant on twitter/tumblr.
6. approach Vedic astrology with an open mind. many websites will tell you you're a horrible person with zero luck , jealous and doomed to live in perpetual misery but please understand that these come from the narrowness of their own knowledge and understanding. any wisdom possessed by an individual has to pass through their filter of perception in order to be written down. astrology is not a doomsday machine tool condemning some and glorifying others. do not make a religion out of this. think of your birth chart as something that provides context as to why you are the way you are. don't let it be something that holds you back.
7. please don't randomly pick up tantric practices and chant mantras or perform rituals just because you know a little bit about vedic astrology. this is a whole new turf and these practices can be life changing if done right but disastrous if done wrong. trust your intuition, always. i hate that tiktok/social media etc has made witch craft/magick/esoteric occult rituals look like some quirky, "woo woo" thing that anyone can do. please stay safe ya'll <33 don't blindly follow others <33

Uncovering Your Cosmic Origins: Traits, Gifts & Soul Mission of Sirian Starseeds on Earth
The Sirius Star System: Home of Sirian Starseeds
Sirius binary star system located approximately 8.7 light years from Earth in the Canis Major constellation. Comprises Sirius A, the brightest star visible in the night sky, and a smaller white dwarf Sirius B orbiting Sirius A. Sirius B was once a larger, brighter star than Sirius A in the distant past before evolving into a white dwarf.
Sirius is known by many names in ancient Earth cultures including “Dog Star” and “Nile Star.” Egyptians based the calendar on Sirius helical rising coinciding with the Nile annual flooding. Marked winter season for Polynesians and chronicled in ancient Vedic scriptures.
Sirius A believed inhabited by highly advanced spiritual beings focused on overseeing the ascension of the Sirius system itself. Sirius B original home of Sirian starseeds before the system underwent cosmic evolution. Sirians from advanced water planets were forced to evacuate when Sirius B transformed from a gaseous state into a white dwarf star. Although the home world forever changed, spiritual wisdom and technologies survived to pass down ensuing generations.
The Soul Mission of Sirian Starseeds on Earth
What drives Sirians to voluntarily incarnate on Earth again and again even when the planet is still so chaotic and dense? Each starseed has an overarching mission guiding its incarnations, though the specifics will vary. Here are some of the core objectives behind the Sirian Starseed soul contracts:
Activate higher dimensional portals and light grids on Earth’s power points and sacred sites. Sirians are encoded with advanced sacred geometrical information and wisdom from Atlantis which can energize and stabilize the crystalline grid now rising.
Anchor light and frequency through their energy field and presence. By simply existing in a high vibration of love, gratitude, and inner peace, they raise the resonance of their environment and touch all souls they contact.
Awaken humanity to its true origins, unlimited potential, and purpose for being here now. Sirians remind us of our divine nature and push us to expand our limited beliefs.
Prepare humanity for open contact with the galactic community of benevolent interstellar civilizations. Sirians educate people on ETs and bridge the gap between human and cosmic perspectives.
Teach advanced technology and innovation to be responsibly integrated for the planet’s greater good. As technically skilled as they are spiritually adept, Sirians guide how humanity can evolve through technology without misusing it.
Be spiritual teachers, healers, and leaders who reveal higher truths and inspire people to live in harmony, peace, and unity. Their wisdom and grace touch people’s hearts.
Protect and speak up for the vulnerable, oppressed, excluded, or environment. Sirians act from a place of selfless compassion that honors all life.
Help shift humanity out of duality consciousness, fear-based programming, and rigid belief systems by embodying Unconditional Love and unity consciousness.
As multidimensional light beings, Sirians work on many levels and domains to uplift humanity’s understanding and play a pivotal role at this incredible time in our planet’s ascension process.

Vedic Astrology 101 p2
Basic explanation of the houses, rulership and signification and how to read the chart (or interpret it on a basic level).
Tumblr media
Introduction:
after explaining a little of the signs and the planets now i will attempt to introduce the houses, the rulerships and their respective significators.
i will bring the nakshatras in the next part.
click here for part one, if you wish to read it :).
The chart:
Tumblr media
The Vedic / sideral chart has a different form of layout and from now on we will have two "designs", one is the northern form (the left side) and the southern form (the right side)
Tumblr media
The Northern format uses triangles, the kendras (1,4,7,10) are in the middle. the difference is that the houses are fixed but not the sign
and on the southern side, the chart houses are not fixed but the signs are fixed. (picture below).
Tumblr media
there is no "right" chart format to choose from, you can use which one is easier for you to understand, I myself use the northern chart and I will be using them for further explanations if I find them necessary but on a solid basic level, those are the charts formats.
and you can see the chart, as a circle if you wish, by using other websites like astro or astroseek which showcase the charts using a circle format independent of the system you choose to use.
Tumblr media
The houses
classifications:
The Kendras (or Quadrants): Houses I, 4, 7 and I 0. These are highly significant houses. The Panapharas (or Successant Houses): Houses 2, 5, 8 and II. The Apoklimas (or Cadent Houses): Houses 3, 6, 9 and 12. The Trikonas (or Trines): Houses I, 5 and 9. These are highly auspicious and, along with the Kendras, determine the health, wealth, status, dignity, rise and virtue of a native. The lagna, being both a kendra and a trikona, is the most significant of all houses. The Upachayas: Houses 3, 6, 10 and II. These houses indicate struggle, competition and material achievement. The Trika Houses: Houses 6, 8 and 12. These are considered bad houses (Duhsthanas). They indicate debt, disease, loss and misery. The Ayu-sthanas (or houses of longevity) : Houses 8 and 3 (8th from the 8th). They indicate the length of life and, therefore, also the death. The Maraka-sthanas (or killer houses): Houses 2 and 7. The two halves of a horoscope: (a) Houses I to 7 indicate the invisible half and houses 7 to I indicate the visible half of the horoscope. (b) Houses 10 to 4 indicate the eastern half and houses 4 to 10 indicate the western half of the horoscope.

Tumblr media
just like the first part this was short as well, because this website has a character limiter but, i hoped i explained well enough and helped someone to understand the basics of the houses better.
for the next parts i will tell about the nakshatras and will bring charts to teach how to read on a basic level. thank you for reading <3
readings are open. click here for contact info. and please leave feedback and suggestions of posts if you desire too.

Vedic Education System : An Insight into Ancient Wisdom
In today's fast-paced world, the quest for educational excellence often leads us to look back at ancient wisdom for inspiration. Among the many educational systems that have stood the test of time, the Vedic education system shines brightly, offering profound insights into holistic learning and personal development. In this blog post, we delve into the essence of the Vedic education system and its relevance in modern times, with a special focus on early childhood education in Gurgaon.
Tumblr media
Understanding the Vedic Education System
The Vedic education system traces its roots back to ancient India, where it flourished as a comprehensive system of learning encompassing various aspects of life, from academics to ethics and spirituality. At its core, this system emphasizes the holistic development of individuals, nurturing not only their intellect but also their character and values. Drawing from the timeless wisdom of the Vedas, it offers a unique blend of experiential learning, moral education, and practical skills.
Preschool Education in Gurgaon: The Need for Innovation
In a bustling city like Gurgaon, where rapid urbanization and modern lifestyles prevail, the demand for quality preschool education is ever-growing. However, traditional approaches often fall short in meeting the evolving needs of young learners. This is where innovative solutions, such as the concept of a preschool franchise, come into play. With the rise of preschools in Gurgaon Sector 50 and beyond, there is a pressing need for educational institutions to adapt and innovate to provide a nurturing environment for children.
Integrating Vedic Wisdom into Early Childhood Education
One of the key challenges faced by educators today is striking a balance between academic rigor and holistic development. This is where the Vedic education system offers invaluable insights. By integrating Vedic principles into early childhood education, we can create a nurturing environment that fosters not only academic excellence but also moral values, emotional intelligence, and creativity. The concept of a Saturday working preschool in Gurgaon aligns perfectly with this philosophy, providing additional time for experiential learning and cultural enrichment.
The Role of Bella Mente School in Reviving Ancient Wisdom
In the vibrant educational landscape of Gurgaon, Bella Mente School stands out as a beacon of innovation and excellence. Inspired by the timeless wisdom of the Vedic education system, Bella Mente School strives to provide a holistic learning experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of every child. Through its unique approach to early childhood education in Gurgaon, Bella Mente School is redefining the way we perceive preschool education, emphasizing not just academic achievement but also personal growth and character development.
In conclusion, the Vedic education system offers a timeless blueprint for holistic learning and personal development. By embracing its principles and integrating them into modern education, we can create a more nurturing and enriching environment for our children. With innovative initiatives such as preschool franchises and Saturday working preschool in Gurgaon, we can ensure that every child receives the education they deserve, laying the foundation for a brighter future. As Bella Mente School continues to champion this cause, it paves the way for a new era of educational excellence in Gurgaon and beyond.

Educational System During Vedic Period
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM : In vedic era education had a very prominent place in society. It was being considered as pious and important for society. In the eyes of Aryans, education was the only means to acquire, prosperity in the field of physical, mental, spiritual and social developments. Education was must for everybody for becoming cultured. In absence of education people…

Vedic or Tropical
A lot of people ask me if something is Vedic or tropical. Honestly, I don't understand that question yet. Yes, there are certain concepts that are exclusive to Vedic like dashas but even Dashas can be applied if you use tropical calculations.
Say I write something like Jupiter in 9th gives good education. This has nothing to do with Vedic or tropical. If you have Jupiter in 9th you apply this that's it.
Most concepts have nothing to do with tropical or Vedic they are just common astrological statements.
It's not that men with Venus Saturn get delayed marriage in Vedic and a beautiful early marriage in tropical. No, Saturn is Saturn and is neither Vedic nor tropical. Of course if you use tropical , and you have Venus Saturn conjunction in Vedic you may or may not have that conjunction in tropical because of 23 degree difference between these 2 systems. It is your choice to use tropical calculations or sidereal calculations.

There are a lot of Skills that go into Being an Astrologer.
Tumblr media
Nowadays more and more people express themselves on esoteric topics, and it is a positive thing, that the community is growing. But it takes a lot to develop true understanding of the subject as deep as Astrology.
It takes a certain amount of life experience and maturity. You need to have an affinity with personal suffering long enough and then transcend it, so you can truly grasp certain concepts internally.
It takes technical trial and error and reading a million pieces of text from all kinds of astrologers with all kinds of beliefs on scoring, house systems, knick-knacks that go into the technicality of it.
And finally, the part that I feel is the most underrated, a general knowledge of culture, linguistics, philosophy and psychology.
Human behaviours that astrology describes, the mythical backgrounds of Vedic Culture, references to certain patterns repeating through human history...that can only be understood if you have a certain education. And it doesn't need to be mainstream school education. Most kids sleep through their school years without much understanding. It's a visceral desire and ability to read and really learn, even if you use Google and Wikipedia. Absorbing new layers of data and transforming them into new heights of wisdom over and over. Mixing understanding of modern popculture with tradition.
All of the above points, the constant journey of growth, is never over. You will never know enough to be able to stop developing. The Universe itself isn't done learning about itself. How could a human being, a child of this Universe, be any different?

Zodiac signs and Professions
The present world is extremely different from Vedic civilization, when everything was based on people's Varnashrama-Dharma, which came from their nature and showed itself in both a person's innate character traits and some of his acts, or guna-karma.
Teachers at gurukulas carefully studied their pupils' interests from an early age, preparing them for careers in the three higher varnas of vaishyas, kshatriyas, and brahmins. Shudras, if trained, often learned their trades within the confines of their families.
Being born into a certain family did not automatically make you a member of that varna; rather, as you became older, you had to prove your qualities. In contrast to the so-called caste system, there were four varnas in the Vedic society: brahmins, kshatriyas, vaishyas, and sudras.
Many new professions that are not mentioned in the Vedic treatises have emerged in our time along with the advancement of materialistic science and technology, but the science of jyotish provides the answers for figuring out a person's inclinations because it is based on the energies of the planets, horoscope houses, zodiac signs, and nakshatras.
12 signs of the zodiac are divided into several categories:
1) by gender (male and female);
2) according to mobility (mobile, immobile and dual) and 3) according to the elements (fiery, earthly, airy and watery).
The location of the planets in the signs of a certain category enhances certain energies in human nature and encourages him to engage in certain activities in society, in the outside world - which often becomes the native's profession.
Male and female signs
All odd signs (1, 3, 5, 7, 9,11) are masculine: Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius.
The dominant of male signs, that is, when most of the planets or key planets (lagnesh, Sun, Moon) fall into male signs, this makes the native more decisive, active, proactive, inclined to make decisions quickly and be a leader (leader).
In the case of women, this gives a more masculine type of psyche and a masculine model of behavior.
Creates difficulties in personal life.
All even signs (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) have a feminine nature: Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces.
With the dominance of female signs, when either most of the planets or key planets (lagnesh, Sun, Moon) fall into female signs, gentleness of character, indecision, and a tendency to follow rather than lead are manifested.
In male charts, this gives either very suave and gentle men, or a creative, dreamy and compassionate nature, or a weakness of character.
Movable, fixed and dual signs
Movable (Cardinal) signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn are Chara-Rashi
Immovable (Fixed) signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius - this is Sthira-Rashi
Dual (Dual, Mutable) signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces are Dvisvabhava-Rashi
Understanding a person's manner of life can be aided by knowledge about the degree of mobility of their indicators (moving, sedentary, harmonious).
A dominating mobile indication makes a person more likely to engage in sports, movement, work in transportation, and travel.
Mobility represents the guna (energy) of action and passion.
The state of being immobile represents conservatism, extreme inertia, and stupidity.
The native becomes nomadic, prone to danger and change, and able to bring in money from far-off regions when all or the majority of the planets are in moveable signs.
Such people typically select a line of work that involves travel, athletics, risk-taking, tenacity, and frequent change.
If the natal chart's planets are distributed primarily or entirely according to fixed signs, then this combination occurs:
Such locals like education and information acquisition.
They frequently obtain owing to long-standing social links and enjoy well-deserved respect in society.
Natives frequently pick pursuits that emphasise stability, consistency, and predictability.
These indicators provide patience and the capacity to carry out everyday tasks in conventional and traditional settings.
When most or all of the planets are in dual signs, the following occurs: These locals frequently have dexterous hands and excel in a variety of artistic mediums.
Additionally, they frequently pursue careers in knowledge-related fields such as accounting, editing, economics, education, law, counselling, psychology, and spirituality.
- where the processing and sharing of information and knowledge is required.
They frequently attempt to multitask since they find it challenging to concentrate on just one thing at a time.
Signs of fire, earth, air and water
The dominance of different elements induces the native to seek refuge in the activity that corresponds to this element.
It is traditionally believed that the element of Water gives birth to brahmins, the element of Fire - kshatriyas, the element of Air - vaishyas and the elements of Earth - shudras. In reality, everything is much more complicated now, because.
all varnas in our era are mixed.
(when many planets are in the signs of Fire - Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) makes the native a revolutionary, a leader, a transformer of ideas, a passionary.
Just as fire transforms other elements, fire people are catalysts for change.
(Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) makes the native a conservative, not prone to change, stable, practical and pragmatic.
These people are good at developing structures and giving shape to ideas.
(Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) makes the native fickle (windy), unstable, intellectual, easy in relationships, easily adapting to circumstances.
They are easy to remember and easy to forget.
Not vindictive.
(Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) makes the native emotional, creative, deep, intuitive, sensitive, inclined to make decisions based on feelings rather than reason.
Professions of the twelve signs of the zodiac
Of course, if each profession were clearly represented by a single zodiac sign, life would be a lot simpler. However, in reality, we must deal with a variety of combinations and identify the main influences of the energies of the signs - the rising sign (where the ascendant or lagna is), the sign of location, etc. The sign of the Moon (Chandra Lagna), the sign of the Sun's position (Surya Lagna), the sign of the owner of the first house or Lagnesh (Paka Lagna), the sign of a group of planets (from three or more), the sign of the tenth house (career, profession), the sign of the tenth house's owner, etc.
All of these things go into making a person, and the astrologer's job is to distribute and synthesise all of the aforementioned energies in the proper order of significance. They need tenacity, stamina, and response.
These include members of the armed forces, athletes, first responders, firefighters, ministry of emergency personnel, police officers, soldiers in special operations units, mechanics, electricians, builders, travellers, chemists, pyrotechnicians, security guards, shooters, managers, workers in the metallurgical industry, cattle slaughterers, carpenters, repairmen who are constantly sawing and drilling, etc.
Aries: In Aries, all planets develop a sharply concentrated piercing strength.
Aries connected to the soil, flowers, plants, real estate, the arts, beauty, cuisine, money, stocks trading, fashion and apparel, and the entertainment business that calls for patience, consistency, and good taste.
Taurus: The character of planets in Taurus is one that is obstinate, sluggish, and steady. in fields including data, facts and numbers, statistics, media, translation, literature, editing, publishing, and advertising.
Gemini: They frequently engage in marketing, trade, air transportation, logistics, mail, Internet projects, computers, bookkeeping, secretarial labour, education, courier services, diplomacy, intermediates, and mediators.
Planets in Gemini become as information transmitters.
Cancer: fishing and all marine occupations, including the military and trade.Car washes, laundry services, and the commerce in other liquid substances are all tied to water. Doctors, nurses, furniture and interior designers, purveyors, warehouse workers, restaurants, hotels, nurses, "mother" professions including care for others, social workers, historians, psychologists, teachers, and preachers are examples of occupations that fall under this category.
Planets in Cancer become sentimental and softer.
Leo: Leos are  public employees, politicians, ministers, leaders of all ranks, performers ranging from musicians to theatre directors, investors, physicians (if the Sun is strong), soldiers, conservationists, farmers, real estate experts (fixed sign), well-known TV hosts of entertainment programmes, impresario.
The planets in Leo have a regal colour.
Virgo: Analytics, accounting, auditing, economics, arithmetic, medicine, pharmacology, counselling, psychology, agriculture, education, computer science, astrology, paperwork and papers, critical analysis, creation of curricula, methodologies, algorithms, and systematisation are all Virgo-related fields.
Planets in Virgo have a graceful hue, refine their characteristics, and develop irrational and obstinate traits.
Libra: Lawyers, judges, sociologists, marketers, middlemen, merchants, mediators, advertising professionals, musicians, fashion designers, stylists, decorators, photographers, artists, actors, dancers, models, pilots, stewardesses, drivers, perfumers, restaurateurs, hotel workers, sexologists, and event planners are all members of the Libra family.
Planets in Libra develop elegance, pliability, elasticity, and lightness.
Scorpio: Scorpio is suited for all work with liquids, chemicals, drugs, poisons, and the funeral industry. Scorpios frequently work as mechanics, scientists, researchers, police officers, sailors, physicians, mediums, astrologers, fortune-tellers, magicians, philosophers, secret service operatives, jailers, notaries, and insurance agents. Scorpion-ruled planets become "biting," tense, and reminiscent of a warrior being ambushed.
Sagittarius : Military, leadership, working with horses, extreme sports, shooting, tourism, making and selling shoes, all legal professions, teaching, philosophy, international relations, diplomacy, finance, religion, spirituality, preaching, foreign trade, geography, cartography, geopolitics, and the exploration of new lands are all favoured professions for the Sagittarius sign.
The planets in Sagittarius have a noble, resolute air about them (like an arrow shot by a shooter).
Capricorn: who resides in the 10th house of the zodiac, has a thirst for strength and leadership roles. Due to his patience and consistency, he does regular job successfully. Coal, metal, minerals, timber, garbage, and commerce in all of these have a relationship to Saturn and the earth element. They might be agricultural labourers, plumbers, carpenters, builders, geologists, archaeologists, miners, or geologists.
Capricorns frequently build systems, methods, strategies, trade networks, and structures.
The sign's portability makes it useful for travel-related jobs. Planets in Capricorn develop qualities like pragmatism and earthiness (element of the Earth).
Aquarius : Public relations, social activities, charitable work, altruism, sociology, philosophy, computer science (particularly hardware), electronics for television and radio, information projects, IT, astrology, advisory work, theoretical science, and ground and air travel are all ruled by the sign of Aquarius.
psychological analysis, travel, publishing, and literary pursuits.
Pisces : Pisces physicians, nurses, resuscitators, representatives of humanitarian and charity organisations, sanatorium staff, commercial fisherman, rescuers, musicians, poets, and composers.
Priests, monks, preachers, ashram abbots, travellers, astronomers, astrologers, fortune tellers, explorers, scientists, and traders from far-off nations (export/import from across the sea) are just a few of the people that may be included in this category.

FULL MOON IN GEMINI (13) 9TH HOUSE DECEMBER 27TH, 2023 | 6:57 AM | PREDICTIVE VEDIC ASTROLOGY
Tumblr media
FULL MOON IN GEMINI (13) 9TH HOUSE DECEMBER 27TH, 2023 | PREDICTIONS
DATE: DECEMBER 27TH, 2023 | VEDIC ASTRO | PLACIDUS | 6:57
FULL VIDEO REPORT AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE & PATREON...
AS A GEMINI NATIVE, THIS FULL MOON HAS CERTAINTLY GIVEN ME A HEADACHE. FULL MOON SIGNIFY A TIME WHERE NOT ONLY IS THE ENERGY MAXIMIZED BUT SO MUCH SO, IT FORCES ONE TO RELEASE AND LET GO OF ANYTHING THAT ADDS TO THE OVERLOAD. THINK OF A COMPUTER, NEW MOONS ARE A TIME WHEN YOU ARE DOWNLOADING NEW SOFTWARE OR PLUG INS FOR OPTIMUM USAGE. HOWEVER, FULL MOONS IS WHEN YOU MAY NEED TO RELEASE SOME OUTDATED SOFTWARE OR PLUG-INS THAT ARE TAKING TOO MUCH SPACE OR ISN’T NEEDED AND THREATENS THE EFFICIENCY OF YOUR SYSTEM. LIKE OVEREATING , FULL MOONS CAN BE A PAINFUL TIME IF YOU CHOSE TO CONTINUE ADDING MORE TO AN ALREADY FULL BELLY WITHOUT GIVING YOUR BODY TIME TO DIGEST AND RELEASE, IF YOU CATCH MY DRIFT.
WITH MUCH CONSIDERATION TO THIS BEING THE LAST FULL MOON ON 2023, AND IN THE SIGN OF SOCIAL GEMINI, THIS IS THE LAST CALL TO RELEASE ALL SURFACE LEVEL FORMS OF COMMUNICATION FOR ONE. WHAT THIS MEANS IS, FOR SOME YOU MAY START TO LOSE INTEREST, IF NOT COMPLETELY, BY PEOPLE, PLACES, THINGS AND SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS THAT ONLY OFFER THE BARE MINIMUM. SURFACE LEVEL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE ANYMORE. MEDIOCRACY IS JUST NOT TOLERABLE ANYMORE. SMALL TALK, SHORT RESPONSES LACKING DEPTH WILL CERTAINTLY BE CHALLENGED AT THE TIME. THE FULL MOON WILL ENCOURAGE THOSE IN ENERGETIC ALIGNMENT TO SEEK HIGHER KNOWLEDGE IN TRUTH REGARDING SPIRITUALITY, RELIGION, EDUCATION, LAWS, LEGALITIES, TABOOS, THE OCCULT, FOREIGN AFFAIRS, AND ANCESTRY. YOU MAY START TO BE DRAWN TO CONTRIBUTE  OR LEARN ABOUT INFORMATION THAT IS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD. EXAMPLE, JUST THE OTHER DAY I CAME ACROSS A TIKTOK PAGE AND I WAS MADE AWARE ABOUT THE INJUSTICES THAT HAVE BEEN ONGOING IN THE CONGO. I TOOK AN ANCESTRY DNA TEST SOME YEARS AGO AND FOUND OUT I AM A DESCENDANT OF THE CONGO! WHEN I SAW THE VIDEO, I FELT ANGER AND SADNESS WHICH THEN PROMPTED ME TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT HAS BEEN HIDDEN AND NOT COVERED ON THE NEWS. I HAVE COMPLETELY STOPPED WATCHING YOUTUBE IN THE SAME MANNER AS BEFORE, CHOSING TO DO MY OWN IN-DEPTH RESEARCH THAT I AM FULLY CAPABLE OF CARRYING OUT. YOU MAY NOTICE THAT YOU ARE MORE INCLINED TO READ OR WRITE DURING THIS TIME AS WELL, LEADING INTO THE NEW YEAR. THIS FULL MOON IS ASSISTING WITH BEING ABLE TO DIFFERITIATE BETWEEN WHAT REALLY MATTERS, FAKE NEWS VS. REAL NEWS.  DETERMINING WHAT MATTERS AND WHAT DOESN’T  WILL ALWAYS PLAY OUT DIFFERENTLY FOR EVERYONE WITH CONSIDERATION TO OUR NATAL, PROGRESSIVE AND SOLAR RETURN ASTROLOGY CHARTS. WE ARE ALL PRESENTED WITH THE SAME ENERGY BUT WILL CERTAINTLY REACT TO  IT DIFFERENTLY. FOR ME, I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED IN SMALL TALK OR SWEET NOTHINGS- I SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE NOW. WHEREAS, FOR OTHERS THEY WILL EXPAND UPON INFORMATION, TALK , NEWS AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE A LOT TO SAY BUT NOTHING TO OFFER. THIS IS ALL ABOUT MENTAL EXPANSION AND TO SOME DEGREE, PREPARING YOU FOR MATURITY. PERSONALLY, I USED TO GET CARRIED AWAY BY SOCIAL MEDIA, THE LIKES AND THE ATTENTION BUT NOW, NONE OF THAT MATTERS IF I AM NOT EARNING MONETARY GAIN ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING I AM OPERATING A BUSINESS. I USED TO ALLOW MYSELF TO GET DISTRACTED WITH CELEBRITY NEWS, GOSSIP AND OR DRAMA AND NOW, NONE OF THAT MATTERS IN COMPARISON TO COUNTRIES AT WAR, THE DECLINE OF THE ECONOMY, AND QUITE FRANKLY A DECLINE IN MY FINANCES. NOT ONLY DO I FIND MYSELF “DISTRACTED” BY BOOKS WITH THE INTENT TO CHALLENGE AND EXPAND MY MENTAL BUT ALSO, UTILIZING ANY SPIRTIUAL GIFTS I HAVE THAT CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE BIGGER PICTURE. THE QUOTE “ DON’T WATCH ME, WATCH TV” COMES TO MIND.
THIS FULL MOON IS INFLUENCING ME TO STOP WATCHING AND DO MORE ACTION, TEACHING, WRITING, STUDYING, RESEARCHING AND TRAVELING EVEN IF ON THE COMPUTER TO OTHERS COUNTRIES AND REALITITES. FOR OTHERS NOT ALIGNED, THIS WILL SIMPLY BE A TIME WHERE THEY OVEREAT, OVER CONSUME ON GOSSIP, DRAMA, AND STAY SMALL MINDED. THIS IS NOT TO SHADE OR JUDGE ANYONE BUT THIS IS THE FACTS! SOME WILL CONTINUE TO BE APART OF THE PROBLEM WHILE CRITIZING OTHERS, MEANWHILE, THERE WILL BE THOSE WHO TRY TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE BALANCE EVERYTHING. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HIGHER AND LOWER VIBRATIONS OF THE SAME ENERGY PRESENTED. ANOTHER THING TO NOTE, GEMINI IS KNOWN TO BE TWO FACED. THIS FULL MOON CAN ALSO BRING FORTH SOME HIGHER PERSPECTIVES ON FAMILY DYNAMICS AND CONNECTIONS AS WELL. KEEP IN MIND, WE CONSIDER FRIENDS AS FAMILY AND IN TRUE GEMINI FASHION, WE MAY EVEN CALL AN AQUAINTANCE “ A BRO, OR SIS” JOKINGLY. EXPAND YOUR MIND, THE MOON DOES NOT ONLY MEAN YOUR IMMEDIATE OR ANCESTRAL FAMILY CONNECTIONS. I CONSIDER MY DOGS, MY CHILDREN- FAMILY. PERSONALLY, I FINALLY CUT THE CORD WITH MY FAMILY BECAUSE I RECEIVED THE LAST PIECE OF INFORMATION, I NEEDED TO JUSTIFY MY DESCION. THE SMALL TALK AND SURFACE LEVEL GESTURES THAT I TOLERATED AND ALLOWED TO BLIND ME FROM THE PICTURE, JUST COULDN’T BE IGNORED ANYMORE. THE MOON NURUTURES, IT FEEDS- AND THESE CONNECTIONS, PEOPLE, PLACES, THINGS AND SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS, DO NOT PROVIDE NOURISHMENT BUT INSTEAD JUNK FOOD. MORAL OF THE FULL MOON IN GEMINI, IS FINALLY RELEASING ALL THE JUNK.
I WENT THE GROCERY STORE YESTERDAY AND THERE WAS THIS WOMAN BUYING HER DOG THOSE LITTLE CEASAR PACKETS AND I KEPT THINKING HOW THAT WAS THE WORST THING TO FEED YOUR DOG BECAUSE IT’S JUNK. THIS FULL MOON MAY INFLUENCE THOSE IN ENERGETIC ALIGNMENT TO FINALLY GET RID OF FAST FOOD, JUNK FOOD, SUGARY DRINKS, AND GETTING MORE ACTIVE IN THE GYM. WHY? BECAUSE THE BIGGER PICTURE IS KNOWING HEALTH IS WEALTH. AGAIN, THIS WILL NOT RESONATE FOR SOME PEOPLE AS THEY WILL CHOSE TO EXPAND ON ALL THINGS THAT CATER TO THE MOMENT AND PROVIDE INSTANT GRATIFICATION. TO ME, THIS IS A VERY POWERFUL FULL MOON BECAUSE BEING IN GEMINI, RULED BY MERCURY, COMPLETELY DOMINATES THIS REALM AND OTHERS. COMMUNICATION, INTELLIGENCE , IDEAS AND INTELLECT IS ALL THERE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE. IT’S NEVER ENDING, LIKE THIS INTERPREATION! THE FULL MOON IN GEMINI, AT 13 DEGREES IS WITHIN THE 2ND DECAN RULED BY VENUS. THIS MEANS THERE IS CREATIVE AND ARTISTIC ABILITIES PRESENT IF ONLY EXPANDED UPON. THE DANGER LIES IN LAZINESS THAT THE 2ND DECAN OF VENUS CAN PRESENT AS WELL. IT’S EASIER TO BE SMALL MINDED, PLAY IT SMALL AND TO DO THE BARE MIMIMUM IN WHICH MOST WILL CONTINUE TO DO. AS FOR OTHERS, THIS IS PRIMETIME TO CAPITALIZE OFF LEARNING MORE, TEACHING, CREATING, AND ULTIMATELY CHALLENGING YOURSELF MENTALLY TO GROW. YOU ARE WHAT YOU ATTRACT, AND KNOWLEDGE HAS ALWAYS BEEN POWER! MOST WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE UP AND WEAKEN THEIR POWER TO CARE ABOUT GOSSIP, CELEBRITY NEWS, SMALL TALK AND SURFACE LEVEL UNDERSTANDINGS WHEREAS, OTHERS WILL BE GAINING MORE OR ESTABLISHING POWER AT THIS TIME.
GEMINI ENERGY IS ABOUT THE DETAILS, AND THE 9TH HOUSE IS WHERE ALL THOSE DETAILS ADD UP. EXAMPLE, I AM A WRITER. THE MORE I READ BOOKS, THE BETTER MY WRITING AND MY ARTICULATION OF SPEECH GETS. READING IS THE GEMINI ENERGY, AND GETTING BETTER IN OTHER AREAS LIKE SPEAKING AND WRITING IS 9TH HOUSE ENERGY. READING SOCIAL MEDIA COMMENTS DOESN’T ASSIST ME IN ANYWAY EXCEPT DISTRACT ME AND INFLUENCES SLANG AND CURSING THAT DOESN’T HELP ME GET ANYWHERE. IN CONCLUSION, THIS FULL MOON IN GEMINI AT 13 DEGREES IN THE 9TH HOUSE IS ALL ABOUT PRACTICE MAKING PERFECT AND REACHING FOR HIGHER HEIGHTS. THIS FULL MOON IN GEMINI IS ABOUT “ KNOWING BETTER AND DOING BETTER”.
THANK YOU FOR READING! TIPS ARE WELCOMED.
