Vegan meatballs in marinara sauce | Vegepullat marinarakastikkeessa

Ingredients
For the vegan ”meatballs”:
285 grams can of kidney beans
1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
1 small chopped onion
3 minced cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of basil
1 teaspoons of parsley
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
1 dl of rolled oats
0,5 dl of sunflower seeds
A pinch of salt
A pinch of pepper
For the marinara sauce:
1 can of finely crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 chopped onion
1 minced clove of garlic
1 teaspoon of basil
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of sugar
salt
pepper
Instructions for the vegan ”meatballs”
Preheat the oven to 175 °C degrees.
Pour the kidney beans to a colander. Rinse the beans and drain them.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions until they become soft. Then add the minced garlic and continue to sauté the onions for a moment.
Take out a food processor and put the sunflower seeds in it. Use the pulsing option to break the seeds in to small pieces. Add the kidney beans to the processor as well and use the processor to break them.
Take a bowl and add all of the ingredients in to it. Use your hand to mix everything together and form about 10 balls.
Take an oven dish and sprinkle some olive oil to the bottom of it. Place the balls in it and bake them in the oven for about 15 minutes. You may want to flip them around very carefully half way through.
Instructions for the marinara sauce:
Sauté the onion in a pot for couple of minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for one additional minute.
Add the rest of the ingredients and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes.
Serve the vegan meatballs with some spaghetti, fresh basil and the marinara sauce.

Ainekset vegepullia varten:
285 grammaa kidneypapuja purkista
1/2 ruokalusikallista oliiviöljyä
1 pieni pilkottu sipuli
3 silputtua valkosipulin kynttä
1 tl oreganoa
1 tl basilikaa
1 tl persiljaa
2 rkl tomaattipyreetä
1 tl tummaa soijakastiketta
1 dl kaurahiutaleita
0,5 dl auringonkukansiemeniä
Ripaus suolaa
Ripaus pippuria
Marinarakastikkeen ainekset:
1 tölkki hienoa tomaattimurskaa
2 rkl oliiviöljyä
1 pilkottu sipuli
1 murskattu valkosipulinkynsi
1 tl basilikaa
1 tl oreganoa
1 tl sokeria
Suolaa
Pippuria
Ohje vegepullien valmistukseen:
Lämmitä uuni 175°C asteeseen.
Kippaa kidneypavut lävikköön ja huuhtele ne. Anna niiden valua kuiviksi.
Lisää öljyä pannulle ja kuullota sipulia kunnes se pehmenee. Lisää valkosipuli ja jatka kuullottamista minuutin.
Ota monitoimikone tai blender ja laita auringonkukan siemenet sinne. Riko auringonkukan siemenet laitteella pieniksi. Lisää joukkoon kidneypavut ja murskaa ne myös.
Ota kulho ja kippaa sinne kaikki ainesosat. Sekoita ainekset keskenään kädelläsi ja tee noin 10 vegepullaa.
Ota uunivuoka esille ja öljyä sen pohja oliiviöljyllä. Laita vegepallot sinne ja kypsennä niitä noin 15 minuuttia uunissa. Pullat kannattaa kääntää ympäri puolessa välissä kypsennystä erittäin varovaisesti.
Ohje marinarakastikkeen valmistukseen:
Kuullota sipulia pari minuuttia ja lisää valkosipuli pannulle. Jatka kuullottamista 1 minuutti.
Lisää loput ainekset ja anna kastikkeen hautua pienellä lämmöllä noin 20 minuuttia.
Tarjoile vegepullat spagetin, tuoreen basilikan ja marinarakastikkeen kanssa.

However even though polpette mean meatballs, many recipes are called polpette but have no meat in it! In this post that is exactly what I am proposing to you, a meatless meatballs with the main ingredient zucchini and cheese... so delicious be sure to read the post:) Let me present to you Polpette à la Zucchini! How to make Polpette à la zucchini First, you need to shred the zucchini. After the zucchinis are all shredded, add them into a clean towel and squeeze the water from them. Make sure they are as dry as possible. Now, it's time to chopped all the onions, and the garlic.

Now in a bowl add all the ingredients; the shredded zucchini, the egg, the breadcrumbs, the dry oregano, the dry basil, the parmesan cheese, and the ricotta cheese and mix carefully. If you see that the mixture is too wet, just add more breadcrumbs. Now it's time to shape the polpette. I suggest to use an ice cream scoop to get equal size polpette. With clean and dry hands just shape the zucchini mixture with your hands into a ball shape.

How to cook the Polpette à la zucchini First pour a little a bit of vegetable oil into a frying pan. Secondly fry the polpette on each side until they are lightly coloured. After place them into a shallow baking dish, and pour a bottle of tomato Passata over the polpette. Lastly, cook them into the oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Polpette à la Zucchini can be eaten alone with a piece of bread and a green salad or with your favourite pasta.

i watch the second half of dragon ball z and then i buy a dragonball video game and then i make dragon ball ocs and i do minimal research and i do not even finish watching the show and i havent evenm seen the saiyan arch and i go “This is my oc Bulrush . I didnt begungle her name at all i just looked up names for cattails and did that . You can eat cattails when theyre young so they count as a vegebale. I actually looked up many plants for saiyan names for my other character but as soon as i saw BULRUSH I knew what i had to do. Betwen you and me i wasnt even sure if i was gonna make one characetr or two or three. Thats why adonis and bulrush are family actually it’s to justify their similarites .. their similairites which are just the traits that i wanted to see so bad in a dragonball character so i gave them to both ,  I mean could you imagine a character named burush who DIDNT wear mostly red at least most of the time...? and adonis was already red so. ya know
Anyway Bulrush is a lot like um captain k’nuckles ... captain linebeck ... Grunkle stan ... Corned Beef Hash but you dont know who that is .... Roman Bellic bc of the cousin schtick ... Patrick star ... Raditz from dragon ball but i hadnt even seen raditz on screen yet so when i finally did i was like WOOAH NO WAY lol .... You may think that shes a lot like Jasper from steven universe but steven universe borrows heavily from drgaon ball anyway so there”
