Anyways it’s really cool that marvel had a character who was suddenly introduced into a new timeline where they didnt previously exist and has to deal with the ramifications of that alongside the loss of their previous mentor figure and friends.

And its really on brand that they barely explored any of that with miles and made up a new white boy with some extra fanfiction style sad ritz to have that storyline instead 🤡

Gina's never been your typical teenager, and she certainly hasn't had a typical upbringing. But her mom promises they're finally putting down roots. And that Gina can finally get comfortable. Which means all of the typical teenage stuff is finally in full swing. She can make friends and she can join after school clubs, and she actually make some money of her own.

The after school job is definitely an adjustment to her schedule. But she's grateful that her job, at least once she can get to it, isn't that hectic. She's a barista at a corner coffee shop. A real hole in the wall type place that doesn't tend to compete very well with the likes of Starbucks. But Gina kinda likes it that way.

It's chill and relaxed. And the customers they have are regulars. She's gotten used to those faces and voices and orders. It takes a lot of the pressure off the day.

There's this one customer that she sees a few times a week. He's usually set up at a table with his computer. She knows his order by heart. And they've started talking to each other more and more in the last few weeks. The interactions get longer each time. And maybe her heart skips a beat when she hears the bell above the door ring and she sees him walk inside.

The boy seems to have an attention for detail. She's noticed that much since she started working here. Today is no exception. He'd mentioned something about her hair, how it looked different today. And she figured no one would notice since all she did was change the part. But he noticed.

She tells him as much. And then, in response to his response, she's smiling kindly as she puts the lid on his drink.

"It certainly seems like it." She says, placing his drink down on the counter between them.

Also, if I have not made it perfectly clear: Riona does have the skills and knowledge of the human body to figure out people's "secret identities" in any verses where she has been trained in forensics. She also has no filter, and will generally let the person in question know she's figured it out. She's not going to go around telling people at random, but she will generally have that little oh moment with the person in question and then feel the urge to say something, which may or may not be controlled.

However, in most of these verses, Riona does not have any desire to get involved in actual superhero stuff.

Like, the most she will do is basically try to do her own research into "superhuman forensics", how powers can affect bones/decomposition/etc, how to figure out if something is humanoid versus human.

Riona's generally a good ally to have for superheroes/metahumans/etc.

The defeat of the Cobra-Lion and his meetup with Tope (in "Everything We Should Have Said") closed an important chapter in K'sante's life. Despite this, he still desires to further improve himself as Nazumah's greatest warrior-hunter. After all, he always is open for learning.

His brief conversations with nomadic tribes/merchants that pass through Nazumah and tales of the wandering Icathian weaponmaster (Jax) motivates him. With the blessing of the leaders of his homeland, he sets out on his journey.

He travels past the familiar sands/oases of the desert and the fringes of the remains of Icathia. This is how he meets other champion characters like Jax, Sivir, Akshan, and specifically Taliyah.

Taliyah tells about her mentor Yasuo, who had hailed from a distant land called Ionia and had recently separated from him. K'sante had been fairly directionless with his travels, so this suggestion is taken to heart.

This journey to Ionia of course was very fruitful as he sees other lands and their cultures. He passes through the dense forests of Ixtal (Rengar), the technological marvels of Piltover/Zaun (Jayce, Camille), the wild streets of Bilgewater (Nilah)…and finally Ionia.

K'sante luckily is able to get audience with Sett by just boldly participating in his fighting pit just a few days after reaching Navori. The two strike a friendship after their fight ends in a tie (K'sante still thinks Sett is an immature boy but that's another conversation). After hearing K'sante's purpose of his trip, Sett suggests visiting the Ionian temples/monasteries, the centers of martial arts.

It is a given that through this entire trip, K'sante always stops to help anyone that is in trouble. His trek in Ionia doesn't change any of this, but he does notice that some of the things he is fighting are more…spiritual/ephemeral, a contrast to the more physical monsters/vagabonds he has known for so long. Due to the Shuriman Empire's history of rejecting spiritual beliefs, Nazumah was still slowly trying to regain that school of thought. K'sante cherishes this oppurtunity.

In one of the Ionian villages he stopped by, K'sante volunteers to help hunt down some demons. The chieftain of the village briefs him on what he can do, and remarks about how a mysterious masked man had been stalking around the area when these demons started appearing.

"We do not know much about this figure, but he has always appeared with the presence of the demons and azakana…it is possible he is the cause of it all. His masks may be summoning the malevolent spirits to make us suffer. Beware of lone man with many masks, stranger."

K'sante accepts this precaution well enough. After all, he was an experienced warrior. If needed, he will just fight and defeat this masked man. That night, he goes on patrol as he planned. Suddenly he senses another presence following him.

Turning around sharply, K'sante sees what he assumes is the supposed masked man that had control over demons. The man had a red mask with glowing eyes, and exuded a strange aura. Before K'sante can move, the mysterious figure runs his crimson sword through him. K'sante gasps and thinks he is dead, but feels no pain or sees blood....just coldness. He hears the masked man murmur something before withdrawing the sword. Soon a mask materializes from the masked man's hand.

"A small azakana, significantly weakend over time." the masked man simply speaks before he starts to walk away. Confused but wanting to know what the hell happened, K'sante grabs the masked man's arm, demanding what that was about.

"I simply am purging this land from azakana. Your spirit had actually mostly overcome the nightmare that had threatened to overwhelm you...but I thought it would be good to finish the job for you myself."

Hearing this, K'sante demands the masked man to teach his technique of hunting down this...supposed "azakana." The masked man tries to pull away saying this is a task only he can do, but K'sante is more stubborn and refuses to let go. Yone could have disassociated from the situation by having his spirit be unbound, but a part of him is intrigued by this stranger's strong will...a will that could weaken azakana without his help.

"I suppose I can teach you a few things. What is your name?"

"K'sante, a warrior-hunter of Nazumah."

"...Yone. Just Yone."

That he's strong and capable. That he isn't as /weak/ as he is. Unfortunately, due to his visible disabilities, nobody seems to look at him like that anymore. And it /stings/.

That he's innocent. That he's not broken. That he's not thinking about murdering you in your sleep. That he would /never/ do something like that. That his mask is the real him.

This is a lot less depressing than the other two, but he really likes when people are afraid of him. He likes when people think he's scary, intimidating, and not someone to be messed with. If he has to put on a show or use some snark to get there, then so be it, but he loves it.

🐉 Persona 3 Dragon AU Species Chart thingy 🐉

working on this diagram thingy for my dragon au...

so in general the seven "species" listed would be the main ones you'd see in the au. the middle ofc is the typical western/european dragon that we're all familiar with. they're also the most common in the au (tho that doesn't mean most of the main characters will be that species, but ye). Clockwise starting from yellow the other species are: wyvern, amphithere (or just a feathered dragon in general), nymph/fae dragon, lung dragon (also known as eastern dragon, which are the second most common species), wyrm and then drake.

im considering having these displayed next to the persona dragons I made already to indicate which species they are- and if they're hybrids of the sort (so like Chidori for example would be a mix of western and amphithere). and i do want to go over a brief summary what each of them represent and what element they're most familiar with in my verse. for more details check under the cut.

Standard (Western) Dragon - A typical fire breathing dragon. While they usually live in the western regions, they are found all over the world, and hybrids are becoming more frequent for the past few generations. While they are best known for being four-legged reptiles with a pair of wings, it is a generic term for all the draconic creatures that shares similar characteristics. In this AU specifically they can also be biped, meaning they stand on their hind legs with their forearms being relatively shorter, similar to raptors (think of the Jin dragon I drew up as an example).

Wyvern - A powerful flyer known to rule the skies and dance with lightning. These types of dragons appear to be entirely competitive despite them being physically weaker than a normal dragon. They do however have the upper hand in better control of flight and move faster and sharper. They are only outclassed by the feathered dragons, such as the amphithere. Some say the first wyvern originated from a dragon and the feathered serpent, but such cases have never been confirmed or denied.

Amphithere - Also can be considered as a feather serpent (not to be confused with a Quetzalcoatl). They dwell in the sky as their home and produce powerful wind elements along with large majestic wings. Their wingspan can even grow larger than that of a wyvern, and the variations of feather colors and patterns are endless.

Fae Dragon - Also known as the nymph of the dragon species, they're the smallest and yet most docile kind of the entire draconic race. While they choose flight over fight, they do produce some magical abilities, ones such as healing properties regarding plant life or water.

Lung Dragon - Aka the eastern/oriental dragon, they are famously known for good fortune and marvelous wisdom. They are the most reasonable dragons out of the bunch, relying on their moral compass to defuse confrontation. Despite their unique features, they are distinctively related to the aquatic dragons that lives in the sea, known as leviathans (which are considered a subspecies in this AU). Lung dragons are most famous for their ice abilities, while some of their more distinct relatives possess magic or even some chaotic abilities, such as light and darkness.

Wyrm - A serpentine dragon that lacks any limbs or on some occasion contain very small legs for crawling purposes. They burrow in the ground rather than being out in the sky where other kinds of dragons reside, as they prefer living near swamps and rivers to stay out of danger. They mainly possess acid & poison/venom abilities, along with inflicting enemies with paralytic statuses (either by breath or an intimidating stare). Their subspecies, Lindwurms, contain wings with a potential pair of forearms with very similar abilities (some say it's a hybrid of a wyrm and a western dragon, which is also not confirmed).

Drake - A wingless dragon that roams the earth on all fours. They are a force to be reckoned with, having brutal strength that can tackle mountains and break stones with no issues. That being said, they have the element of earth and stone, and have incredible strength that can rival the largest of winged dragons. They vary in sizes from medium size to extremely large (Some say their subspecies is a basilisk, which have 3+ pairs of legs with a longer body to accommodate the extra limbs).

alright, folks. time for a serious conversation.

it's just been brough to my attention that some people are under the impression my samantha winchester portrayal in particular is transphobic because she's a genderbent version of a canon character. there's a couple of things that i want to clarify: first of all, this is something i fully intended on adding as a section in my rules because i know this is a hot topic in the rp community, i just haven't gotten around to it because as stated in my rules, this blog is very low effort and most of the time when people interact with samantha, i will go through the two separate aus i have with them privately.

now, i'm not gonna get into my skin in the game for this because, honestly? it's just gonna cause a stir because people can't respect when people have different perspectives on sensitive topics.

but, i want to clarify something: i only use "genderbent" potrayals of canon characters in universes where the multiverse is a canon thing. both in supernatural and in the marvel universe, you have different versions of canon characters that exist in different universes. sometimes the only thing they share in common with the "canon" version of that character you're familiar with is their name and their connections. the only exception to this would be alana bloom, but the same argument can be made that she is so far removed from the canon alan bloom that she's her own different character.

that being said, i absolutely will not accept the argument that my portrayals of toni stark and at the present moment, samantha winchester are transphobic. you might disagree with me on that, and gb portrayals might be icky for you for your own perspective and beliefs, and that's absolutely okay. i'm not gonna sit here and try to argue this and change your mind because i can absolutely respect everyone is entitled to have their own POV on things. my interpretation and my idea of the gender spectrum can be so very different from yours and that's just that.

i have never, and will never force anything on anyone. it's why my blog is dead dove. it's why i have so many warnings saying that i will write things that are upsetting, triggering, etc.

now: samantha's main verse is that she's from a separate timeline and universe where she does not throw lucifer back into the cage, and she shares her body with him in an apocalypse croatoan virus universe. it's one of the many separate and alternate universes/timelines that chuck has created. he has admitted to creating an universe where people have dog noses. so yeah, i'm fully supportive of the idea he plays around with the genders of his main characters in different universes. but the important thing to note is that samantha isn't canon sam, and i didn't just take canon male sam and turn him into a cis woman. she is, like alan bloom, her own separate entity and character, who happens to share the same name, a similar backstory and same connections as this one canon character.

the second verse for her is that she's sam's twin sister who has either (also separate from main canon) been raised with the boys or just been separated from them from birth for whatever reason best fits the plot and is now back into their lives.

now i'm only making this post and making this distinction because it's both important to the character's portrayal for the future but also i don't want to have to deal with folks throwing around "transphobic" when it comes to me when that's so far from who i am and what i believe in. are there instances that gb is done in a harmful way? absolutely. most of the time from my experience in the rpc, it is that way. it's why i ABSOLUTELY understand that people aren't willing to interact with gb portrayals. for the most part, i never interacted or had gb portrayals. but this version of the character has been living in my head for MONTHS and i just had to let her out. i am never one to hold back on my creativity and this isn't any different. but since i do write alana and toni, i felt like it was worth mentioning my take on this as a whole in case i add any other characters from marvel like this.

i normally don't feel like i have to explain myself on anything that i do because if people don't agree/like what i do, blocking and not interacting with me is an option you have and even if we have mutuals, you can blacklist me and never have to see anything i post. just because we have different opinions doesn't mean i'm a bigot, or that i'm not allowed to exist with my creative ideas in the same space as you do.

thank you for those who have read this unnecessarily long post lol. know it's a bit long winded. i do tend to overexplain myself because of my adhd. but also it was important to get some of the info on sam's verses out here. i will be making a separate post for this information to make this easier for folks AND to avoid any kinda misunderstanding in the future, BUT i just wanted to do a lil' thing in the meantime. to those who interact with me and sam and any of my controversial muses: thank you! and for those who don't or for example for folks who don't like incest but still follow/interact with me, thank you, too! i appreciate every single one of you that understand that we're not all gonna be into the same things but understand that everything here is about open and mature communication, and just being able to curate your space and experience.
