I do really enjoy writing for Joel and other male characters even as a lesbian!! In my head, I’m writing more for consumption by women (I use this term very loosely to include my friends beyond the binary) and pleasure for women. I grew up reading and writing straight stories (either fic or literature) and so I’ve never really felt strange about reading or writing it now! I think if I’m really drawn in by the story (The Last of Us, Narcos, Daredevil, etc.,) it feels more like an exercise in analyzing character/story details and writing things that I’m personally interested in like I wrote OFTM because I like the idea that Joel could’ve been in a band and they could’ve been successful and then how would that change what his life looks like? I don’t ever feel obligated to write anything and have definitely passed up some requests because I wasn’t comfy writing whatever it was at the time but I genuinely love creating loving, healthy relationships (and making them work a little hard for it) in my stories

For reading male character x reader romance or smut, it’s a thing of knowing it’s, more than likely, written by a woman and a direct expression of female sexuality which is not only empowering but it’s also HOT so while I’m not keen to have sex with someone with a penis irl, it’s still fun to read my silly little smutty stories and kick my feet in bed

ah yes, it's the very tired, cynical man with an obsession for investigating and caffeine that has some weird paranormal connection with knowledge, and his partner, the lovable, silly little guy who supports him through every war crime and pushes aside his own problems in order to help him and others.

yes, of course, the cynical guy who considers himself a monster and values trust above anything else. and the charismatic, lovable guy who has so many issues he ignores, so much rage he never lets out, and who somehow wins over said trust because, really, how could he not after everything they went through?

the very oblivious cynical guy who doesn't notice the obvious crush the charismatic guy has on him, and that, after a very rocky start, falls head over heels for him and never looks back.

yes, the couple that goes through so much shit and have eachtohers back through it all, that no matter what nightmarish scenario they're stuck in, they are together and will fight for it to stay that way.

Concepts for an older Kay as a (relatively new) Private investigator! I love this concept so mUCH its fits her very well i think HGJKHLJ

thoughts below because man have I been THINKING about this

-She's basically a PI by day, the Yatagarasu by night (design pending possibly but I'd imagine in this hypothetically game you'd never actually SEE her in that outfit)

-For obvious reasons since shes ACTUALLY started stealing stuff she no longer goes around proclaiming that shes the new yatagarasu, instead the second she became a PI she started calling herself "the great detective" instead

-has yet to be caught, but is currently doing less risky thefts currently cause shes still learning

-She still uses Little Thief but its gotten a b u n c h of upgrades over the years ( im unsure *exactly* what those upgrades would be though, shes possibly using it as a secure storage device for information relating to her clients and to her thefts as a phone/physical documents would be much less secure)

-going off of that last point, while she graduated with a degree in criminal justice, shes pretty good at modifying and tinkering with technology, its a bit rough and shes very self taught but hey it *works* so thats all she really needs

-She is INCREDIBLY good at finding out information for her clients, shes building a pretty good rep for herself because of it, though she has yet to have REALLY big case under her belt

-(honestly probably should be wearing pants but im attached to the skirt so i just made it longer FDGHFGJKHLJ)

-I also like to think she bows only semi ironically HGJKHLJ making fun of edgeworth even when its just an inside joke with herself <33

Wanted to promote a friend’s little series here, Crush The Negative! Sebastian, Kay, Cody (and possibly more) beat back the negatives happening in the real world by going on some adventures and solving problems, all while keeping a positive attitude. It’s a really cute objection.lol series and it’s really underrated. I made a playlist with all the current Crush the Negative content! (though JC already has one, I believe it's outdated)

and also..for all those Sebby fans out there, the VA for Sebastian in the aai2 translation, SonicShadows, has actually made a contribution to the series by lending his voice for Sebastian once more for several new voice clips, showcased in the newest video telling a preview of what’s going to happen in season 2. I'm enjoying the fontaine storyline so far I feel like it's progressing the plot forward a good amount and we're getting some rlly cool and important lore info but I Am sort of like. can we solve an insane crisis now. can we have a boss fight please. I enjoy that we're learning a bunch of stuff but it feels like we're Only learning a bunch of stuff and not actually Doing anything of monumental plot importance we're just sort of watching all of the other characters do it

I think the game finally game me a taste of my own medicine? I have hard a hard time with tobi-kadachi, because of his speed, but with viper even more so. Speed + maneuverability + poison is a hard combo to play against...

and that's...also...pretty much the build I play with? Well, my glaive is neutral damage, but my bugs are always poison, so I inevitably end up poisoning everything. Also, y'know, insect glaive so I pretty much never touch ground.

sooooo my build is pretty much viper tobi. interesting.

I wonder what cool and fun monster-themed builds can you come up with? Technically, the armor perks should dictate that, but they are weird at times, or contribute to the monster-specific fantasy.
