Unpopular opinion: Shannon Messenger makes way too many little plots then abandons them, I'm literally only in it for the sokeefe at this point.

Mr. Forkle was SO meant to die. Shannon just got cold feet and made up a little nonsense explanation out of nowhere.

And I'm pretty sure Keefe was meant to be with Biana in the beginning, before Shannon decided to switch to sokeefe and dexiana endgame bc of what the audience wanted. !!NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING I LOVE SOKEEFE!!

TLDR; I didn't copy Emthim, these color palettes and markings are everywhere in the fankid community. I love her and her art, and I will eat both her fankids and my tiny one.

No. I did not copy Stellar. Vespera's colors and markings were purely coinflipped (aside from the star, that was already going to happen because of Shadow's nickname 'starlight' for her).

Many fankids share similar color palettes AND markings AND backstories. Vespera shares the same origin story with Stellar and many, many other fankids. The whole test tube baby created by Eggman stealing DNA from Shadow and Sonic is a popular one, and mine does have differences.

The only thing Emthim gave me, was the aggressive urge to make my own fankid. Her art and posts of Stellar and her other fankids were attacking my feed while I was out of town in another state, the post of my Dadow and Vespera I drew the same day I got home from an 8 hour drive LOL.

She is so brave she went after vespera and fintan alone because she knew it was the only way to save her friends

She fought vespera and was pushed through mirrors

Just like that she got scarred in the worst way possible and the worst is vespera KNEW EXACTLY WHAT SHE WAS DOING

She knew that biana, being a girl from a nearly royal family, thought of her appearance as a really significant part of herself.

Not only her confidence was gone, but in the elves' world, scars are something unthinkable so she probably was criticized

Plus I don't really remember anyone supporting her like they did with Sophie Fitz and Keefe :(((

But at the end she only grew stronger. Go girl

So I was reading this kotlc post about how Shannon created too many villains. And that got me thinking… what was the point of killing Vespera? Maybe to get rid of a villain. But let’s think. What did Vespera accomplish during her life? She’s well known for helping create the illusions that surround the lost cities. What are the illusions protecting the lost cities from? The humans. What is a major problem in the lost cities? Humans have no idea about the lost cities, are messing up the world, and the lost cities don’t have room to expand because of human expansion. Not criticizing humans here, this is just the lost cities view. What I think would be cool if happened in book ten is that: Upon Vespera’s death, the illusions surrounding the lost cities collapse, and humans are exposed to the elven world.
