Villainous Theory: Black Hat Heals Flug
Alan mentions Black Hat can heal you, but with pain and with a malicious intent.
Evidence to show that is in Episode 3, where despite Flug's body being injured and he was unable to move after his fight with Demencia, but he was able to move to detain Mascara Macabra after being painfully wacked by Black Hat's cane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And even walk fine and even enjoy a nice vacation with 5.0.5 and Demencia afterwards without showing signs that he was ever injured.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another possible evidence of Black Hat healing Flug was when he stepped on Flug after he was injured after successfully switching off Hat Manor's security in one of the shorts. It was not shown, but I theorised that he might be fine and healed aftwards.
Tumblr media
----
Going back to what was mentioned, Alan said that Black Hat heals you with pain, that was shown in these two evidences.
He also does it with malicious intent. So heals Flug obviously not to be nice 😂 but because Flug is less useful and productive evil henchman to him when he is injured and waiting for him to heal naturally is a waste of time.
So he just basically use his painful healing method to heal him but just not make a big deal of it.
----
I wonder what's Flug's first reaction thr first time Black Hat heals him? Like an invention or an experiment went wrong and Black Hat just whacks him with a cane and all his bones healed and Black Hat pretends like he didn't do anything.
I kinda imagine Flug, despite the initial pain would be profusely thanking his boss for his kindness, causing Black Hat to give Flug a demonic death glare and turn into a monstrous form, saying he healed Flug's bones because if Flug had to wait for his bones to heal naturally, it would hinder his work and productivity for Black Hat Organisation not out for kindness and says that he will inflict an injury a million fold if Flug ever accuses him of a disgusting thing like that ever again. Flug scared and fearing for his life, just agrees to whatever Black Hat says and just begs him not to kill him, resulting Black Hat to turn back to his human like form and yells Flug to get back to work before leaving.
Hence, every time Black Hat heals him Flug, he just accepts the pain before the healing takes effect and just continues his work without acknowledging the act and pretending like nothing happened.

Flug is Going to Lose an Arm - Theory
I'm not quite a theorizer, but with Villainous now in the US, I was rewatching season 1A when I noticed something I thought might be worth mentioning.
It's pretty common for cartoons to casually tell the audience major spoilers to the series in a discreet way that flies over the audiences' heads. (i.e. Ducktective in Gravity Falls, or the Cookie Cat song in the first episode of Steven Universe)
So when V.I.R.U.S. listed the spoilers for Código Guajolote at the end of episode 4, I wrote each of them down in case they became important later in the series.
@paper-gold-theories has a post going through each of the spoilers V.I.R.U.S. lists, where they draw a clear parallel between Flug and the character Macias from the show. (So go check out their observations!! Their theory on the "10-year-war" is great!)
One of the spoilers regarding Macias was that Macias "Has no arms."
Tumblr media
So personally, I had the thought that Flug would lose an arm at some point, but didn't think about it much at the time, and just added it to a list of "cool fanart/edit ideas".
But later I was going through old saved photos, when I found this livestream sketch of animatronic-versions of the main cast (featuring Demencia ripping off animatronic-Flug's arm):
Tumblr media
(Source: This post from @nightfurmoon)
Later, I was rewatching the orientation videos, and Black Hat jokes about ripping off Flug's arm at 6:06 (although, keep in mind that this is in response to what was occurring in the clip he's reacting to).
Tumblr media
(link + english fan-sub)
And then, this one's a long shot, but in episode 6, Flug winds up finding an extra detached arm of his as a bit of dark humor (at about 2:11).
Tumblr media
This one's definitely reaching, but it's another example of a dismembered Flug-arm, and thought it was worth bringing up.
These could all be coincidences, but I thought it was a cool concept to share none-the-less.

Wait a minute, I just thought of something
So heed takes over the entire city in the series, a Villainous and manages to make everyone not fight for a couple of days.
In the final chapters of the recent comic, it starts off with a guy in a chair, watching miss heed kiss Flug and he orders some operative on the phone to block out the entire city, so that no one can get in or out.
I was always wondering why peace would let heed get away with mind controlling everyone around her especially if they could’ve stopped her at the early stages, saving everybody’s time and emotional damage. And what was weirder about this was at the higher-ups didn’t want heed to get hurt in anyway. Which really didn’t make sense to me considering she brainwashed an entire city to worship her. Why wouldn’t they want this girl to have a single scratch after what she did?
but when I was about to complain about it on Twitter, I realized something;
Miss heed managed to get every villain in one place and golden hearts whole plan (or at least we know so far) was to eliminate villainy forever. What if this was all apart of the plan for peace? What is peace was using heed as a means to get some of the highest ranking villains in one place?
What if Miss heed taking over the entire city was preplanned to get high profile criminals in one place so it was easier to manage the resources and time and managed to get most of if not all of the villains in a single city, rather than trying to get them all the old fashion way.
So when he does in solitary confinement, waiting for golden heart to rescue her, I think he already did. Considering there was an entire cities worth of people who wanted her dead for brainwashing them so putting her in a secluded area with no access to social media is probably the best thing for her considering it was most likely more harmful than good for her mental health

I've been thinking it over and I think I know what Flug looks like under the bag. It's a boring theory, I apologize in advance
The first problem is I read somewhere that Black Hat makes him wear the paper bag because he finds Flug hideous. I don't know if that's canon. But if it's true, that's weird, because obviously Black Hat LIKES hideous things. So, it's probably the opposite. Flug must look pretty normal.
There's a lot of theories that Flug and Goldheart are brothers. Between Flug's family pictures (long to short: they imply him having a "golden child" brother), the way Ms. Heed treats Flug, and the way Goldheart talks about Flug... that's probably true.
So... Flug probably looks like the famous, heartthrob hero, Goldheart

Miss Heed's self-hatred: overlooked and ignored
Tumblr media
Alright people, this isn't talked about enough so who else would have to bring it up other than me.
(Before we start, English isn't my mother language, sorry for any possible mistakes)
I have a feeling that the whole Villainous fandom is absolutely ignoring Miss Heed's character, she is very well written and her details should be noticed more. She isn't just some charming villain who's only goal is to curse everyone and make them do whatever she wants, there's so much more to her.
Miss Heed is obviously suffering from a very strong self-hatred that I'm even surprised most people didn't notice it, like c'mon, even Flug himself mentioned it!
How is self-hatred affecting her character:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Tumblr media
The need for everyone's love and validation
She can't love nor accept herself, so she thinks the love of others can make her feel better, which is right to some point but it still doesn't fix the problem.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Tumblr media
She's insecure about her real self
We all know that "Miss Heed" isn't really her, it's not even her name! Her true name is Cecilia and as we can see, she gets very angry and offended anytime someone brings it up, or just her before she became a "celebrity" in general.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Tumblr media
Other characters noticed it too
And for the very last proof I chose is that even one of the main characters noticed her problem. I think Flug said it very well, the love of others, no matter how big it is, will never be enough to destroy the hate she has towards herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
She's a very cool character, she deserved so much more, not prison, but at least she's getting some help in there.
That would be all, I just felt like saying this since the whole fandom uses Miss Heed only for thirst traps and they don't even bother to look into her character.

Over the last month or so I've been looking at a few videos I've managed to get my hands on and there's one image in particular that interests me. Excuse the notes I wrote.
I know Dr. Flug is the scientist/inventor of the Black Hat Organization, but what if the lab he uses isn't in the main house? What if it consists of the houses that are around the main mansion? Maybe there's an underground tunnel system that connects it all! I think I'm onto something here!

Since October's rolling around and it'll mark the 1 year of Villainous Season 1A being released, I want to talk about some predictions for 1B when it eventually releases
- We'll definitely be exploring more of the gangs Backstories, specifically Flug, some flashbacks to what led him to be working for BH, possibly even some inconsistent memories, since we know how "hard" it is for him to accurately remember things
- possibly a Dem centric episode, girl doesn't get alot of focus, and she deserves to have her own episode, maybe showcasing her solo missions or what she's like when she isn't just obsessing over BH
- most likely some more status quo style episodes like in 1A, but I feel like they'll all be leading up to something :)
- We'll absolutely be seeing more of Goldheart, most likely slightly longer snippets of him throughout the other episodes, letting us get to know him a bit more before the season finale when we finally meet him face to face, I'll elaborate on how I think this episode will go in a later post :)

Idk if anyone else has commented on this, but during Flug's dream in "El Atroz Amanecer/The Dreadful Dawn"...
Tumblr media
Goldheart is wearing a bracelet (two bracelets?) on his right wrist. So far we haven’t seen the real Goldheart wear anything like that; since he and Flug have some shared past together, it’s probably something he used to wear.
The Goldheart of today is a hero on the outside, but he’s no doubt hiding some dark secret. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the same way as a child.
Perhaps they were brothers, or neighbors, or classmates. In any case, it seems they didn’t get along. The conflict between them would have been the one bad mark on this charming little golden boy’s record, so in an attempt to look good in front of their parents and/or teachers, Herbert acted like he wanted to make up with Kenning and be his friend.
Kenning didn’t trust him at first- what did Herbert stand to gain from hanging out with this awkward little nerd? But Herbert made a pair of friendship bracelets for them to show his “sincerity”. So Kenning accepted Herbert’s offer, and they were “friends” for a while...
In Flug’s dream, Goldheart called him a failure; Kenning made some kind of mistake that made Herbert look bad. Perhaps one of his inventions went haywire and caused some property damage or hurt someone- coming from this troubled kid, it seemed like a deliberate act of malice rather than the accident it truly was. Herbert got flak for it because he was the more mature of the two, he should have been keeping an eye on Kenning!
Herbert was upset at this negative attention; he felt that it wasn’t worth keeping up the charade anymore. In a fit of childish temper, he revealed to Kenning that he had only been pretending to be his friend.
Kenning was crushed. He tore off his bracelet and threw it at Herbert before running off.
...Herbert picked up the bracelet, and slipped it into his pocket.
This was Kenning’s entry into villainy; if he could cause such destruction on accident, how much more could he cause on purpose? This circled back around to being good for Herbert’s reputation; Herbert was a good kid, he had tried his best to help Kenning and be a good example, really he did! But Kenning was just a bad egg this whole time, so really there was nothing he could have done. Herbert internalized this; some people are good and some people are bad, and bad people cannot become good so he’ll just have to stop them with force instead of words.
Goldheart doesn’t wear the bracelets, obviously. People would ask questions about them. But perhaps, like Flug, he has a box of old mementos somewhere.

Villainous Observation: I love that this chapter of the Risky Heist shows how badass Flug is and he's a high tier Villain worthy of working at BlackHat Organization.
At the end of Episode 6, Flug was able to sneak in by himself disguised as a guard, even wearing a paper bag 😂 no less, to walk in and out to see Miss Heed like it was no big deal and nobody's business. He probably hacked into the facility himself as you can see him appear after lights suddenly went out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But it turns out that the facility was heavily guarded and was way more difficult to sneak into than what it appears.
Ilumiarrow and Mawrasite needed an elaborate plan to sneak into the place, steal keys from the captain and a hacker to disable security in order to break into the facility.
Flug just makes it look easy.

Mini Theory - Dem's Obsession
Tumblr media
If the theories that Flug created, or genetically modified, or brainwashed Demencia are true: Then I think that the research Flug did for his thesis was what he used to make her fall in love with Black Hat.
We know that the formula used for Miss Heed's hypnotizing perfume was flawed, and Flug's isn't.
It would give an external explain as to why:
She could resist Heed's perfume
She glitched out when given the Spurn Detura Flower (made from the same formula)
She took off the Mascara Macabra without hesitation
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, it could easily just be a stylistic choice, but Dem and Heed's brainwashed victims have similar glowing-pink, popping hearts:

No I Can't Endorse This Theory

PEACE might be a corrupt organization pretending to be good, but Black Hat ain't good. He's evil, but he's the honest type of evil. PEACE is just masquerading itself as good while using and abusing those it works. It also hurts the citizens they supposedly are protecting.

they weren’t kidding that frisk someone can sure strange
anyway so the “see you in the next hell, losers” is inspired by this video ! it made me Think. undertale was their first hell(possessed by the SOUL), deltarune is their current hell(wants the SOUL back)
and the “try as you might, you continue to be yourself” is from when you get a second red flag in Ball Game in undertale ! thought it’d be ironic since. theyre kinda not acting like themself since they don’t have the SOUL anymore. not that they even really know who they were without it
