How about a 1965 #VoxAC30 from @brentcoleman176's collection? . I have never owned a vintage #Voxamp, but got all excited about them after watching a documentary about #Vox (and specifically about how important the #AC30 was to them and music history) on YouTube. An amp I bought a few years ago for flute. I used it at a few flute circles but didn't like the way the flute sounded through it. I dug it out and plugged a guitar into it. Amazing sound! Goodbye crap CHINA stock tubes. Hello JJs from @eurotubes ! I already own a @voxamplification #ac15c1 that I keep at @community_evangelical_church . But I wanted a spare #guitaramp for practice at home so I don't have to haul it back and forth. This one I picked up from a worship leader at @mycefc before he moved out of the area. When I played certain notes, there was a ringing noise, but it was fine for practice at home. But finally, they gave out and I could barely hear any tone even with the volume cranked all the way to 10. So I got these #jjs #jjtubes from #eurotubes and now the tone sounds so #buttery !!! I love it! Picked up this #voxvalvetronix amp the other day, got it for a steal cause the corner was messed up, I believe it's a transtube, has 1 12ax7 tube in it, I believe channel 1 is screwed up, gotta fix that soon, but this little bad boy isn't bad at all for a modeling amp.
