Ya know what I didn’t expect to be hard to write when write a VRAINS fanfic, Ryoken and Specter’s friendship. Most of the interactions we get to see in the show are just Rev giving Specter orders. By all accounts Specter wouldn’t make so much as a snide remark to Rev, which is a problem seeing as how being snide and sadistic makes up so much of his personality. As a result I can’t really figure out how to bounce them off each other in an engaging way. Any tips?

Hey! Love your little rambles about Ai, love this sad silly boyo. One thing I just wished they’d explore more was the details and gimmicks the SOLtiS have, how they work.. I did make a lil OC to mess around with that, plus that he’s a sorta-Ignis accidentally made by Ai while trying to bring back the others. AU stuff, but yea! Robo my beloved

Aqua straight up can tell when people lie!!! Do all the ignis have weirdly niche super abilities that never come up, or is Aqua just the world specialist girl

Just spitballing here. Windy can predict the weather. Lightning can (canonically) manipulate electrical impulses in someones brain. Earth can make little swarms of programs, like Ghost Gal's fireflies. Flame is the world's best heat sink. Ai can tell exactly how long to microwave things without reading the package.

What I think is kind of funny is that I started my little story of Yusaku and Ai being Skull because I thought that Yusaku was a lot like the Clouds are described in Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Ai is more or less like Skull. So I was like, why don't I write those two as Skull. And the more I write and read the comments I get, the more parallels I see between those stories. Like those two being like a Cloud and like Skull and then the parallels between Ai and Luce, with their knowledge/visions/calculations of the future. Another one would be the theme of human experimentation, with Yusaku and Mukuro. I am honestly surprised about how many similarities exist between two stories that have seemingly nothing to do with each other. I think that is part of the fun of writing crossovers. You search for something that makes sense even if it isn't supposed to make sense, you could say.

What similarities/parallels do you see?
