happy birthday Wakamatsu Akashi(voicevox) !!!! [jul 17] [posting early]

Wakamatsu Akashi (aka SUZAKU) is a japanese synth released on 22 feb 2023, however his character birthday is 17 jul. he is 26yo and 182cm tall. he is not a singing synth like most other vocal synths are, but rather more like a tts (text-tospeech) voice. his vp is japanese vtuber Kokuri Raku, and he is illustrated by onidaruma. akashi was created by VirVox Project, whos goal is "to increase the variety and number of masculine vocals in vocal synths"(from vocal synth fandom wiki). akashi is a part of exvoice (?)

VirVox's Valentines (Coincidental!) Announcement

Kigashima Sourin and Wakamatsu Akashi VOICEVOX demo voices will be released soon!

A demo video has also been released:

For those unaware, VOICEVOX currently has all their voices built in with the editor. That means the demo voices VirVox will be giving out is usually the currently latest build of the engine, AKA possibly Generation 7! Something similar happened when Takehiro, Ryusei and Kotarou's demo voices were released with Gen 3, when Kotarou's emotions demo were available with the rest of Gen 5 and when Takehiro's emotions demo were available with the rest of Gen 6.

KNB AU: Headcanon

A/N: Today, I will hereby publish my headcanon for which friendgroups would form and what kind of shennanigans would go down if there was an AU where everyone attended the same school (and I literally mean everyone from the Japanese schools). Ignore logistics.

-Kise and Takao would be close friends. Kise would happily oblige whenever Takao wishes to prank Midorima, and these two are the bane of Midorima's existence. -Momoi would be the Gretchen Weiner of the school. She knows everything on everyone which is why people are afraid to mess with her. Yet she's popular because she's such a sweetheart. She'd remain close with Aomine but I definitely feel like she'd develop a strong friendship with Reo Mibuchi too. -Kotaro and Izuki would be the school clowns, generally having fun around the school together and annoying people with their stupid jokes. Every once in a while, Teppei Kiyoshi joins them if he feels like the school could use a more light-hearted atmosphere. -Considering Momoi and Riko would be the coach and manager respectively, all the boys will have banded together to force annual cooking classes on them before those girls get everyone killed. -Mibuchi also recruits Sakurai to his friend group. They love making adorable dishes and sweets together. -Haizaki seldomly gets in trouble at school. Why? Because Hanamiya is on the Disciplinary Comittee and enjoys watching Haizaki's chaos unfold. Why should he get his hands dirty when Haizaki is already doing things for him? -They once held an eating competition between Nebuya and Murasakibara. -Because of his laziness, Aomine gets punished a lot by Riko. -Though Riko trusts Hyuga and Kasamatsu to keep Kise's antics in line. -Takao is a bit more of a smooth talker to get himself out of trouble compared to most of the other mischief makers. -Even after graduation, Kimura continous to supply Riko with fruit to throw at players. -Akashi's original personality actually holds very deep respect for Riko's skill to coach at such a young age and tries to become friends with her. -Himuro often joins Kagami and Kuroko during lunch time, and Kuroko often learns some interesting information about Kagami's childhood he uses for trolling purposes. -Aomine plays with Nigou very often and even gives him little gifts, which makes Kuroko wonder if Aomine is trying to steal his dog. -Midorima hates Nigou almost as much as Kagami does, it surprisingly ended in a few bonding moments. -There's nothing scarier then the day the team get split up in two for practise and Hanamiya and Akashi get to be the respective captains of each team. These two are playing basketball at extreme strategic levels that could make chess masterminds shake in their boots. Their practice competitions are scarier then anything Jabberwock could throw at them. -Wakamatsu developped an addiction to valerian pills, because of their calming nature. His team contains too many personalities that tick him off.

my dumbass thought i'll at least see the others play but just as i expected it's mostly GOM+Kagami, Kuroko that played.

why not take the uncrowned kings tho instead of ya'know Hyuga, Wakamatsu, and Takao. i know they're good but in a worst case scenario wouldn't the uncrowned kings fair better against Jabberwok?

I find it funny that since Nash looks similar to Kise, Kise's hair is shorter in the movie compared to the anime. Don't they all look older too or is that the hair? Midorima reminds me of that anime guy who was splashed by water in the bathroom and turns out he has an umbrella (it's th hairstyle plus the glasses). And everyone's hair is shorter except for Akashi, Aomine, and Murasakibara.

(hate hate hate the change in Murasakibara's tied hair tho 😭) but the way he asked both Riko (calling her Rikocchin 😭) and Momoi for hair tie is so cute thooooo

anyway wrf is up why are they all getting injured? Kise and Aomine got injured during the series and Murasakibara got a broken arm(?) during the game wtf

I kinda can't sit still every single time Akashi interacts with his other self.. especially the last part. won't that make him kinda(?) the strongest member of GOM? literally can see the future. unless Kise perfect copies it.. (Kise doing perfecr copy + zone is so hot tho)

and Seirin playing against GOM+ the subs (Wakamatsu, Takao) is so unfair lmao. Seirin literally struggled so much against them with Teppei in the team, why would Akashi propose they play 💀. Imagine fighting against Emperor eye, perfect copy, midorima's threes 💀 I'd just perish.

I couldn't take the movie seriously when they zoomed in one the remote when Midorima shot his threes 😭

A General Timeline for Kuroko no Basket

back on my ballshit. i've wanted a concise timeline for knb for years, but it's hard to do. even this probably isn't super accurate, but I did my best to check every reference I could. I decided that being broader here by not including specific dates/years and simply breaking events down by months was the best way to go.

I didn't have the age graphics for the months of February and March because they'll remain the same as January's (until Momoi's 17th bday in May). The official calendar I'm referring to here by the way is this one from KuroFes. I hope you find this useful!
