10 days ago bone fragment removed that was a few millimeters round... and Dr. reattached/repaired two ligaments as well as cleaned out a bunch of scar tissue & cartilage. Pretty amazing stuff. Probably all damage done in or before college. Woodhenge

Where’s the wood then? Ah, it’s decomposed. -TommyC 

This Neolithic site is just a stone’s throw away from Stonehenge. Whilst no wood survives today the concrete pillars denote the location of the original  timber posts. The posts are believed to be for a ring shaped building. It was originally thought that this was a burial monument which would be unsurprising given the proximity to Stonehenge and the amount of tumuli dotted around the landscape.  Whatever the original purpose it is used for ritual purposes today and is often visited by the Druid community and archaeology lovers alike -RoxyB

Opening hours: Any reasonable daylight hour.

Cost: Free.

Side note:  The small care park lies on the opposite side of the road to Woodhenge - so take care when crossing the road.

Foot update: walking BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! is slightly a misnomer tbh. This is an aircast! It’s pretty complicated and has buttons, straps, releases, bags, the whole nine. I have to release everything to lay down and rest (which i am still supposed to be doing 😠😠) but i took the dog for a whopping half block walk today. My foot hurts more regularly, but less overall? I got cleared to go back to work 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 so overall i’m calling this a positive day. . . . . . #walkingboot #toesurgeryrecovery

I really like Salomon boots but despite looking after them, cleaning, drying, waterproofing. Why do they always fail just after the 2 year guarantee runs out?
