Who would win in a fight: King Liam or Prince Leo?

Okay this got interesting and long and I’m not sure if it answers your question Nonny but I hope you find it entertaining!

Liam leaned over the desk to reach his laptop, Leo had been in his office again, third time this week, just to move things around.

Really it was his own fault, Liam had told Leo there was nothing he could do that was more frustrating than listening to Lord Neville talk about his estate. His brother was really challenging that claim.

Sighing, Liam opened the laptop and checked his Tumblr account. He would never admit to anyone that he had one, but Maxwell had made it sound interesting, and somehow one pixelated version of himself that he’d bought online had 10 thousand followers. Max would never know that... Liam chuckled. He was still bragging about having four thousand.

There was an ask in his inbox and Liam frowned. That was an odd one. And that was for Tumblr. Most of the asks were for images of certain parts of his body or requests for a note or letter addressed to the asker. Hmm.

“Who would win in a fight,” he read aloud, “King Liam or Prince Leo?”

“Me, clearly.” Liam looked up so fast he cracked his neck, slamming his laptop shut and regretting that instantly as Leo sauntered into his office. He cleared his throat.

“What are you doing here?” too accusatory. Leo lifted an eyebrow.

“More work than you, apparently.” he chucked a document on Liam’s desk and went to pour himself a drink. Liam frowned at the pages, removing the bull clip to flick through them. A request for use of the maze for one of his... gatherings.

“What the hell Leo.” he growled.

“Relax little brother. It isn’t what you think.” Leo smirked and lifted the glass of amber spirit to take a sip. Not likely.

“Fuck off Leo, no. I’ve told you before.”

“Ah, Li. You should learn to respect your older brother,” he gestured to the forms, “you’re invited too.” Liam screwed up his face, disgusted.

“Why the fuck would you think I would be interested in this?” he looked at the form again, then scoffed and rolled up the document, sternly meeting his brother’s amused gaze as he pointedly dropped it into the recycling bin.

“Twit,” said Leo lightly, though there was a touch of venom in his voice, “use your brain Li, it’s a party, just without all that pomp and circumstance you call normal.” Liam leant back in his chair and surveyed his brother closely. Leo had one thumb hooked in a jeans pocket and the other hand holding his glass, and rested easily with his weight on one leg.

“That I call normal?” he glanced at the top of the document, still visible at the top of the bin. A party, but at night, with better alcohol and no snobs.

It sounded amazing.

“Yes, that you and all these pompous narcissistic assholes who think people should give a shit about them.” Leo cocked his head to the side and watched him, and Liam’s mouth very gradually twisted into a sly smirk.

“So that’s my social life then is it?” he lifted an eyebrow at his brother, waiting for the trap to set.

“That’s your life Li. Whether you like it or not, so come to the party, enjoy yourself, hook up with a woman or two you couldn’t possibly have, then crawl back to bed early to start at 6am like a good king.”

“So that’s the life of a king then, huh?” Liam stretched his arms back and laced his finger behind his head against the seat.

“What, do you need a fucking reminder? Should I go and get Neville?” placing the glass down on the bar cart, Leo hooked his other thumb in his pocket and looked back at him. Liam chuckled.

“No choice then?”

“None.”

“The life of a king.”

“Absolutely.”

“I see.” he watched his brother frowning, then as he shrugged and turned towards the door called after him. No mercy, “is that why you abdicated?”

Ouch.

I feel like any argument by these two would ultimately be won by that comment because it’s the one thing Leo can never undo or properly apologise for and literally decided his brother’s fate for him. Liam needs MC. I volunteer.

A physical fight would be a different matter. But could still be won by that.

@fishyfiash I did >this one< in TVPaint Animation 10 Pro. But sometimes I'm a masochist or just plain lazy and animate in PhotoShop CS5.

If you are looking for an easily accessible software, a good free alternative is OpenToonz. It's similar to TVPaint and @wannabeanimator collected quite a few tutorials and troubleshooting regarding the program. They use the tag #OpenToonz for it. (you might want to jump straight to page/2 if you are interested, the 1st page doesn't seem to load).

Also, while I'm at it...

I don't think they'd actually need it that much in their intact form, save for physically being able to speak. Based on corrupted angels and reapers depicted in the game, I assume they have an actual respiratory system to work voicechords (all that screeching rofl). Hence why Imperius is giving an actual choke response to being strangled by DudeRiel's whip. Imps isn't gonna black out anytime soon from the lack of air, but he definitely can't use his voicebox atm. The whip is also doing it's own thing beside being very uncomfortable and thight.

For later reference, angels in this AU have a mock-up/pseudo organ system in place that could sustain a physical form beside all the other space-magic-bullery that goes on inside them. These organs aren’t really tangible or in use, so getting impaled isn’t really a problem either. Well, at least not from the organs’ perspective.
