Aik Alif | Bulleh Shah
 18  Sadiq  Monday, June 29, 2009
1. Parh parh ilm te faazil hoya Te kaday apnay aap nu parhya ee na
(You read to become all knowledgeable But you never read yourself)
You read so many books to know it all, yet fail to ever read your heart at all.
Bhaj bhaj warna ay mandir maseeti Te kaday mann apnay wich warya ee na
(You run to enter temples and mosques But you never entered your own heart)
You rush to holy shrines to play a part, Would you dare enter the shrine of your heart
Larna ay roz shaitaan de naal Te kadi nafs apnay naal larya ee na
(Everyday you fight Satan But you never fight your own Ego)
You are quick to attack the evil one, yet pride is a battle you have not won. Bulleh Shah asmaani ud-deya pharonda ay Te jera ghar betha unoon pharya ee na
(Bulleh Shah you try grabbing that which is in the sky But you never get hold of What sits inside you)
You grab for a star you can control, yet fail to grasp the light in your soul. Bas kareen o yaar (Stop it all my friend)
Let the race end, my friend
Ilm-oun bas kareen o yaar Ik Alif teray darkaar
(Stop seeking all this knowledge my friend Only an Alif is what you need)
Stop trying to be the one who knows, for 'God is One' you need to know.
Bas kareen o yaar (Stop it all my friend)
End the race, my friend
Allah Sayyaan Allah Sayyaan (God is the Master, God is All)
God is All we need! God is All!
Nee main jaanaa Jogi de naal
(I shall follow the Yogi {ascetic/sufi})
Follow the wandering dervish!
Jo naa jaane, Haqq ki taaqat Rabb naa devey us ko Himmat
(Those who deny the Strength of Truth Lord does not give them courage)
If you deny the power of all that's true, God will not grant strength to you. Hum Mann ke darya mein doobey Kaisi nayya? Kya manjhdhaar?
(We have drowned in the river of Self the boat and the flowing waters do not matter)
We are lost in this river of self, no boat or streams are of any help.
Bas kareen o yaar (Stop it all my friend)
End the race, my friend
Ilm-oun bas kareen o yaar (Stop seeking all this knowledge my friend)
Stop trying to know it all, my friend.
Allah Sayyaan Allah Sayyaan (God is the Master, God is All)
God is All we need! God is All!

Lupa was in fact very nice. And so was Warya who I also met.
The longer I stayed in the werewolfs home, the less I wanted to leave. The less I wanted to leave Rieka, especially...

In Indonesia, transgender shadow puppets have a message of tolerance and understanding
Tumblr media
Samidjan, a master of shadow puppetry or wayang, has created transgender characters to push back against rising intolerance in   Indonesia.
In a Javanese shadow puppet play created and performed by Ki (an honorific for a dalang or puppet master) Samidjan, 68, has presented new transgender characters.
“We created Betari Jaluwati and Warya Bissunanda  as new wayang characters to express our concerns about the discrimination against LGBTQ citizens of our country, who often have their rights trampled upon by the state,” he said.
In one scene Betari Jaluwati, a transgender goddess, descends from the heavens to comfort a trans person in despair.  The almighty, she says, is neither male nor female.
“No one chooses to be born different; to be blind, to be gay or trans,”  Samidjan says. “I don’t know if my wayang will change people’s attitudes but I just want to put the message out there.”

March 26, 1922 Krazy Kat by George Herriman [Washington (DC) Times edition]
[ID: Ignatz stands, hunched over, by a chest of drawers in his bedroom. /end] Caption: "Ignatz Mouse" is the unwilling recipient of a recent chimera, he is the victim of acute "disarmamentitis." Believe it? Ignatz: Gosh!! I can't lift them up.
[ID: Ignatz walks over to a large pile of bricks in his front room. They lie underneath a painting of the Enchanted Mesa hanging on Ignatz's wall. /end] Caption: Well, we can hardly believe it ourselves when we look upon this double portion of "bricks." However... Ignatz: Oh, my beautiful bricks, oh, my pets, you can render me no service this day.
[ID: Ignatz slinks into a darkened room next to this one. /end] Caption: Knowing what we know, this battle array of "bricks" lies here useless, recumbent & otiose in supreme invitility. They do, for a fact.
[ID: Ignatz slinks around the house, his useless arms dangling in front of him. /end] Caption: And now, as we deal neither in secrecy, or subterfuge, it is only fair to tell you that his good right arm as well as his good left arm have been rendered unfit with that springtime affliction, "Charley Horse," and they are suspended useless from his neck. he'll toss no brick today. Hence...
[ID: What appears to be a motley assortment of battle axes and spears bunched up behind a shield appear outside Ignatz's house in the dark. /end] Caption: "Pax." "Pax." "Pax."
[ID: Krazy bends over to look at a cannon in a department store. The sales clerk, a dog, sells him on it. /end] Caption: At this moment, "Krazy," unable to pass a "bargain" by, makes a purchase, which looks very undisarmamentlike to us. Dog: As a special favor to you, "Krazy," I'll let you have that latest model, upta date "cannon" for $1.98. S'a bargain. Krazy: Make it a $1.97, and I'll take it.
[ID: Krazy stands in front of the cannon barrel curiously. /end] Caption: Krazy's usual aptitude for making gifts surges up within him and coupled with his unerring instinct for giving them to the right party at the right time, we seem to see "Ignatz Mouse" getting a present. Krazy: Now that I got it... wot?
[ID: Krazy pushes it across town. /end] Caption: And it looks as if our surmise is about to bear substantiation. Krazy: HE shall have it.
[ID: Krazy stands in Ignatz's front room, presenting him with the cannon. Ignatz sits in an armchair up against the far wall of the room. /end] Caption: Negotiations of gift making, and gift taking are now in progress. Krazy: Soon as I got it, I said to myself, to whom shall I make this "kennon" a giff, and right away I said to myself, to whom, but "Ignatz," and here it are. Ignatz: What good is a "cannon" without "cannon-balls," fool? I don't want it.
Krazy: But "Ignatz," you dun't have to have "kennon-balls" to shoot a "kennon." Ignatz: Take it away, I'll have no cannon without cannon-balls. I'm no child. Take your silly toy away. I'll have none of it.
[ID: Krazy begins pulling the cannon out of the house when Ignatz suddenly spies the shape of the barrel's hole - it's square, perfect for bricks. /end] Ignatz: STOP! Come back!!
Ignatz: I'll take it. Krazy: Ah-h, I'm so gled, dahlink.
[ID: In his front yard, Ignatz fires the cannon, pulling a string with his foot to let the brick loose. It ZIPs off with a large BOOM. Krazy walks off, oblivious. /end] Krazy: Hark, I hear a boom!!! Already, he is playing that he's "King Nipoleon" at the Bettil of Wuttaloo. L'il warya.

I spent Double XP Event leveling some alts so I could get the species legacy unlocks. In the process I’ve gotten super attached.
So I had to share.
(note: I love creating dumb names for my characters)
Spikes-girl: Zabrak Smuggler/Gunslinger - Former Republic Fighter Pilot turned smuggler/mercenary. Possibly a Daggerwing vet who avoided imprisonment on Belsavis.
Dankheart: Rattataki Inquisitor/Sorcerer - Token evil character. Old School Sith. Absolutely Batshit.
BigBlues: Chiss Bounty Hunter/Powertech - Very Big, much mysterious. A Professional. Cold exterior but he’s got a soft spot for Mako.
Zen Warya: Twi’lek Jedi Knight/Sentinel - Born in Kalikori Village, given to the Jedi for training. Passionate and slightly rebellious but ultimately a Very Good Jedi.

Arkadaşlık.... Ne biliyorsun???
Sahi o birbirinden asla kopmayan
Birlikte ölüme gidilen arkadaşlıklar...
Sadece filmler ya da kitaplarda mi?
Neden sürekli ihanet veya yalan çıkıyor??
Her her zaman her şeyiyle...
O bunu yapmaz değilde...
O bunu yapmışsa wardir bir bildiğiii...
Kesin bu yüzden böyle yapmıştır...
Diyen bir arkadaşlık bize nasip olmuyacak...
Ama umut warya o içimdeki umut....
Boşuna dememişler...
'' Umut insana plastik çiçeği sulatır'' diye
Gerçekten de öyleee...
