We fall astray when we deny nature.
Watercolor and pen on the back of a postcard. 1985
If I remember right, it was somewhere in New Mexico. Somewhere around midnight. Somewhere quiet. If I remember right.

To be free we must fly.
To fly we must have wings.
To earn our wings we must suffer.

one of my fav tropes is when a character who is not used to being picked up/carried/manhandled due to whatever reasons meets a person with enough strength to go "bet, get picked up idiot"

Revisiting the shores of the solar sea once more as it's this time of year again🌞 A gloriously introspective scene to celebrate it, watching the double sunset and the echinacea dreaming in the garden💙💜🧡

Abstract kind of day
Abstract garden, Jacquelyn Block
Today I was pondering what to paint and I was having trouble focusing my mind. So, I decided just to start painting and seeing what would emerge from my paper. I started with some green rectangles and the started to give me a bit of a landscape vibe. I added some blue for a sky and then decided it would be fun to have some color in the bottom to be reminiscent of…

Autumn in a Japanese garden by Yeshaya Dank (hanging on the wall) by Yeshaya Dank
Via Flickr:
Your strolling through a Japanese garden during the autumn. Gazing across the slow moving stream, many things catch your eye. There is a Japanese maple tree whose leaves are changing colours. A stone lantern and a bonsai tree without leaves. You also see and hear the relaxing sound of water slowly pouring out of a bamboo fountain. Allow yourself to relax and soak in your beautiful surroundings!

I was so stressed this week so I painted a picture. This society is making me sick. Making me believe that i'm sick if i'm not producing. Not being able. Can't move because of pain. My body is aching because i ignore the signals that is given. Can't be moved by anything. Isn't that a sign? Of a body communicating. Neurotransmittors telling my body to shut down. Because i can't calm down in this environment.
While i'm longing for spring, meanwhile i'm waiting for for the sun to come closer
The way i precieve the reality society lets me live in.
at the same time society is creating new anxiety among all people, because it may be war. War where you are forced to protect a country that is called yours, because its borders protect you
From foreigners. Those who doesn't like you, but they havn't even had the chance to meet u
Is this a way to come together and build a community
A cult?
Am i prepared if i say that everyday for me can be compared to a war
Besides war
My feelings will continue
Be unknowledgeable
