These are redraws of my favorite parallel in the entire series sorry everyone else…

when the gang is heading to fight Ashfur we finally meet back up in the Dark Forest, and of course Firestar launches himself at the first guy he sees in this dark ass place and it turns out it’s his favorite guy ever!!! Parallel to the first time the my ever met and I’m going to fucking explode!!!!

the only difference is Firestar is the one launching out of the darkness !!! And now he’s a completely different cat, dead and all, but still the same little kit excited to see his best friend.

So anyway when I first read this I was FOR SURE thinking I would find at least SOME FANART of this scene but everyone just draws Bristlefrost dying to death unfortunately!!! She’s still my favorite cat to cry over but I love these guys too

this is gonna sound weird but i don't. get how this is misogynistic?? there have been so many posts made to this blog saying it's not misogynistic to dislike female characters and we shouldn't dogpile on people for it. can we pick a side? is it sexist to dislike a female character or not?

because personally anon was definitely weird abt some points but they pointed out flaws in these characters, and while personally i love silverstream i do agree she was way too nonchalant abt this.

the reason why it's misogynistic is bc anon went on a rant abt hating BOTH of greystripe's female love interests and then saying "firegrey forever." it's not a good look to put down women in favor of an mlm ship because that behavior is a staple fandom moment for a lot of misogyny and sexism. ie how a lot of naruto fans in 2010 absolutely despised sakura because she "got in the way" of sasuke x naruto -mod ashensky
