may or may not include grown-up snowkit in awj, depending on how things go/how much about canon i want to alter outside of jaypaw’s ranking. rambling under cut

snowkit, named snowtail after his mother, was able to become a warrior of thunderclan after he managed to get back to camp after being dropped by the hawk in the middle of the woods. he considers firestar, brackenfur, cloudtail, brightheart, ferncloud, and brambleclaw some of his closest friends.

snowtail communicates through vibrations in the ground or visual signals, and is a rather patient cat, if ambitious when it comes to defending his territory and clanmates. he has scars on his sides from where the hawk’s talons dug in, and uses his experience as a teaching lesson for kits to be careful in open settings, something he's very passionate about. while he can't speak fluently and prefers kitty sign language to avoid miscommunication, he does have the ability to speak to some extent, even if his words are occasionally slurred or mispronounced.

i want to add him because i love snowkit, but i don't know if/how i'd incorporate him. so it's up in the air for now :p

I wish Snowkit and Mistlekit lived. At least Snowkit actually got a death scene--Mistle died with no cause after surviving white cough. Honestly Snowkit as a concept is SO interesting--when he's introduced in the books it's exciting because you wonder how the warriors society will handle a cat with a disability. Sadly they kill him off and the next time we really explore that is with Jayfeather which...they don't exactly nail that either. Anyway, here's an imagining of Snow and Mistle alive and grown up. I'm naming them Snowstalk and Mistleshade for fun.
