do you think either akito or tsukasa could get the next valentines focus and both be 4*s?
i’d assume tsukasa has a higher chance of being the focus between the two since the last val focus was vbs (kohane) so i don’t think they’ll do akito.. though they did do toya and an back to back for wedding focuses (not too sure how strict they are about this kind of stuff) and vbs already has two mixed focuses for this round iirc
also unsure if there’s any restrictions about how many times two characters can be together in mixed events, but akito has been in the lineup of every tsukasa mixed focus so far, so if it’s tsukasa focus, is it impossible for them two to be together? bec off the top of my head i cant really think of any character that’s been in all of another character’s mixed events other than akito and tsukasa. though i do understand it might be a little early to think of valentines specs since akito has some chance of showing up in ny5 maybe (which wd prevent him from having a valentines lim i assume) i’ll be interested to hear your insights though thanks!!
I think it's pretty likely to be a Tsukasa focus. He hasn't had a mixed event in coming up two years, and aside from Len is the character most in need of a lim. WxS also hasn't had a vday event yet but I'm not sure if that's something clpl cares about.
As for Akito and Tsukasa together. I dunno. Whenever there's a boy on a mixed event, there's usually a second one to go with him (exceptions being unit rep anniversary events and all the mixed events with Toya this year). The main spec I've seen for vday 2025 is Tsukasa/Akito/Mafuyu, mainly because that's the lineup that works best distribution wise. It's a bit of a random lineup but it wouldn't be the first lineup asspull.
The other main spec I've seen is a bookend to last year's lineup, ie: An/Minori/Mizuki + Akito 3*. Which does actually work provided that Akito is bfes instead of An. I'm kinda hesitant on it though since I think An is a more likely bfes than Akito and I don't think Mizuki needs another lim until summer. Minori I think could easily go here though since I cannot think of anywhere else to put her next lim. Unless she's NY of course.

WD/Fantasy AU
(a list of things you should know):
• There are 3 Kingdoms: The Hanasato Kingdom, the Aoyagi Kingdom and the Yoisaki Kingdom
• The Hanasato Kingdom is known as the Kingdom of Luck, the Aoyagi Kingdom is known as the Kingdom of Winter and the Yoisaki Kingdom is known as the Kingdom of Passion.
• The Aoyagi Kingdom is currently in a civil war (ACW for short)
• WxS were originally training to be musketeers in the Hanasato Kingdom, however after Rui was kicked out and "banished" for having magic, they would all eventually leave the academy they were training in
• Emu was able to hide her rodent features and get into the academy thanks to Yuki Akiyama, her older sister's girlfriend who just so happens to be a witch
• Saki runs to Toya's kingdom in order to learn why her illness had gotten worse, fighting alongside him during the ACW.
• While Toya's trying to take over the throne, Kanade had just gotten control of hers back
• No one knows where Nene has gone or if she ever even existed
• Tsukasa is the only one of the group who would go on to join the Royal Guard after the Captain of the Royal Guard had seen him train and work to defend his village and decided to train him.
• While they never spoke at the academy, Rui and Tsukasa developed a sort of relationship while fighting against each other.
They aren't together, but when their dynamic stops due to Tsukasa entering a relationship with Emu, Rui can't help but feel and deny that he is jealous.
• Emu and Tsukasa meet again for the first time after he returns from his first fight with Saki on Toya's side. She was there to give him comfort after he wasn't able to talk to his sister into returning with him.
The two eventually learned they had gone to the same academy to learn to be musketeers, and after everything that happened with that one student, he didn't blame for leaving as quickly as she did. It was a bit too dull without her there, but he's glad she's okay.
• Minori's seen as a naive Princess who will bend over for anyone. That she can be shaken easily. No one expects her to he a strong ruler who won't let harm come to her people or fear linger when she learns of it.
• As mentioned earlier, Kanade got back her throne. As a child, both her parents had been killed by her mother's advisor, Lady Asahina.
Lady Asahina crowned herself Queen and made her daughter, Mafuyu, the Princess. And Kanade was sentenced to life in the dungeon.
She resented Lady Asahina and Mafuyu for a long time, until she and Mafuyu began to bond.
Through this, she was able to get into the girl's head and talk her into realizing how wrong her mother was. Her mother killed her parents and stole what was rightfully hers. Her mother didn't even give her the mercy of death. She took everything from her and here stood her daughter, trying to defend her.
Tell me, Mafuyu Asahina, look me in my eyes and tell me I'm wrong. Tell me my parents deserved death.
I-
Tell me my parents were the cruel, tyrannical rulers your mother claims they are. When they're the reason she even had her job. When they never made either of you feel unwelcome. Tell me they deserved to die. That your mother wasn't greedy. Wasn't jealous.
She-she wasn't... I...
LOOK AT ME!!
....
You know I'm right. You know that I'm right.
... Kanade-
Come see me when that finally sinks in, but until then, I don't want to see you.

aim higher and higher! - an analysis
WARNING: the following post contains images from Aim higher and higher!/Kohane's 6th focus, specifically their trained cards (and the 2star) and shots from the game version 2DMV; this post also contains spoilers for the event story. View at your own risk.
Yeah so Kohane6's trained looks a lot like the same setting from WL2 and it got me thinking a LOT. It ended up turning into a whole theory post ahaha.
All of this was said in my discord DMs with @thatoneweirdo14 and I cannot be bothered to rewrite it at the moment so. If the flow feels weird that's why lol.
do you think that the wl set and the koha6 set are set in the same universe. 4 friends who were close, drifted apart in school to do their own things, eventually reuniting to carve a new path in the world.....
ITS THE SAME CASTLE THING TOO
you can see it best in wl2 gacha title
but all of wl shows it well
akito and toya both also have the town in the background
whereas miku seems to be somewhere else (i doubt its the town itself)
^ implying that she probably came after their departure from the school (also since wl2 had no vs)
kohane also looks a lot like miku, which i think is interesting. seriously. i keep getting DUPED. but the idea that she's grown into a sort of position that miku once carried for them is a very interesting implication + if you go off of the theory that wl2 is a sort of "before", it's interesting how both toya and kohane grew their hair out---especially toya, who we can probably surmise left the school first. kohane was probably actually the last to leave (she's outside but she's on a balcony high up, so it can be argued that an would leave next) if at all
kohane and akito are the only ones with visible staves; we know 2stars CAN get props like that (Mafuyu's Hermit card is the best example, but it can be seen as far back as Rui1, more recently like Mino5, and even last event, Airi6) so the fact that An doesn't have that is proof. Toya might have it but it's unlikely If you go off of this assumption, it might be plausible that Kohane and Akito (who stayed at the school) received their staves, whereas An and Toya (who left) did not. Miku, who never attended in the first place, back this idea up.
[circling back to the idea that Kohane appears a lot like Miku in this set] In this shot of the 2DMV, Kohane looks a LOT like Miku to me.
2DMV also further implicates the idea of magic being a very interesting force in this universe (which, I would say, working in a very different way to the WD AUs) [rip Kohane who's too blurry thanks to the logo, but it's implied its in her hands]
Toya's shots specifically remind me a LOT of a martial artist, from how he holds himself to his specific posing
So it wouldn't be crazy to think that Toya went down a path of a martial artist [after he left the school]
[14, quoting the images from the implications of how magic is controlled in this universe] "Interesting that akito in particular doesnt seem to be directly controlling his spark"
Kohane and Akito both appear to be mages of some sort (given by their staves) but it's possible that Akito may specialize in a sort of physical-style magic (a combination of his personality and how Kohane appears to be more of a commander)
[Me, quoting 14's comment] ACTUALLY YEAH. I DIDNT NOTICE THAT
it's possible that Akito never learned to "properly" control his magic, which this can reflect his own arc in a sense; I think back to specifically Akito4, where Ken says that basically, the way Akito has been pushing himself to overcome obstacles has worked until now, but he needed to learn another way to be able to surpass RAD WEEKEND. The idea that Akito is a mage similar to Kohane but has always brute-forced his magic is really interesting, especially if you add in that probably he needed to learn how to surpass his own limits---doing something few people can do, turning his magic into a physical style. Akito is also the only one who doesn't have a good shot of the dawn in his trained; it's implied that he's facing it but Kohane is too and hers is much brighter. It could be that Akito has taken up a sort of "dirty-work job" to protect them?
Miku reminds me a lot of a dancer, which would be an interesting party member but for fantasy games it's not unfounded. Fire Emblem Awakening has a Dancer class, and I think another fantasy turn-based RPG (like FE) has a Dancer class too. The idea that Miku is their mentor but is also a dancer of all things is both a) hilarious and b) absolutely something a VBS AU would do; [honestly,] If anything, Miku looks like an ordinary village maiden
[quoting Akito not having a good shot of the dawn in his card] I bring this up because the gacha title is "Shining Dawn" so the dawn is an important part of this. Dawn often symbolizes a sort of new beginning, which reflects VBS officially picking up their dream of "taking over the world" (they finally figured out what that meant LOL).
[continued in a reblog because I hit my image limit oops]

WD AU, how did Tsukasa and Shizuku end up together if Shizuku's lesbian?
Also are there any ace/aro characters in your hcs?
they dated before tsukasa realized he was trans. they're just good friends now!
i usually think of kanade somewhere on the aroace/spectrum. same with mafuyu. toya gives me demi vibes. i've only really read wxs events and some vbs events, so i'd need to read others to fully dedicate myself to a hc...

PINNED !!!
Welcome to postorigamisekai! An ask blog for one of @kenziedrawz 's aus! And before you ask, yes this blog is run by Kenzie herself.
Ask box status : Open for receiving! Asks may not be answered immediately though
What is Origami SEKAI?
Origami SEKAI is a PJSK au based on the game Paper Mario; The Origami King.
The basic plot of the au is that a now nearing graduation Tsukasa Tenma is clearing out the Tenma household's attic with Saki when he comes across an old book he remembers sometimes reading to her at bedtime. The siblings agree to look through it again, preparing for nostalgia.
What they do not expect is for Tsukasa to get sucked into the book.
Tsukasa finds himself in a paper-crafted world, and bit more flatter than he remembers. He's also now in some sort of Knight get-up(his WD card), and has absolutely no idea where he is! So he goes to the nearest castle, which is owned by Princess Shizuku, in hope of figuring out what the heck is going on.
Unfortunately for him, he meets an Origami Shizuku instead of, well, a paper Shizuku. And he gets the feeling something isn't right. He gets dropped into a pit soon after talking with her.
Now, assuming you know the plot of PMTOK then you can guess what happens next.
Tsukasa frees Princess Mafuyu from her entrapment within a wall, and we learn that her own mother put her in there. One dungeon escape later and one Mafumom villain reveal later and now Tsukasa is apparently the 'chosen hero'(as said by Shiho Hinomori) and on a quest to unwrap Shizuku's castle from streamers and go and defeat the Origami Queen. Simple, right?
Now, I won't go into much more detail of basically PMTOK spoilers for you(because I'm lazy) but long story short there are guardians of the streamers and we know and love them but they eventually get defeated.(no they aren't the canon legion) And eventually mafumom gets defeated and Mafuyu wishes everything okay again and then Tsukasa gets zapped back home!
But, now we get to where our little ask blog takes place.
A week after his crazy adventure, Tsukasa decides to open the book again. And this time, lots of little lights pop out!(those are you guys!) He's pretty sure a few other things popped out, but surely they're nothing, right?
----✭----
Muse Information
Tsukasa Tenma - Former chosen Hero, a lot like in canon but lacks the Wonderland SEKAI and Wonderlands x Showtime as we know it. Owns the book that contains the paper world.
Rui Kamishiro - Former member of the Legion of Solitude, formerly known as 'The Duelist'. Wasn't actually 'defeated' like the other LOS, but instead broke the seal on his own streamer and disappeared. Home invader/hj

Washed and styled it differently and now it's more like WD Mafuyu again. We are so back
A friend left a devastating review on my new haircut:
"You used to look like white day Mafuyu and now you look like white day Kanade. Which is a downgrade all things considered" you didn't have to do me like that.

Anime vs. Real Life: More Locations for given's Jam Sessions
Few anime manage to hit the highs and lows as perfectly as given. And after the last few nerve-wrecking episodes, which included the band’s goosebump-inducing first performance, and several long-overdue confessions, it’s time to wind down a bit before the show’s grand finale this Thursday. And given the nature of this column, that obviously means we need to check out some more beautiful real-life locations of the show. While the first given-centric Anime vs. Real Life installment highlighted important spots like the band’s rehearsal studio and the many musical supply shops featured in the show, this article will take a look at all the places Mafuyu seems to hold dear. Take a look!
*All images were taken with GOOGLE STREET VIEW (images I shot myself are marked ‘WD’)
We’ll pick up right where we left off in the last installment. In order to come up with lyrics for the song, Mafuyu needed to confront his past, which prompted him to take a little trip. So he hopped on a train from Machida Station to Fujisawa Station (pictured above).
At Fujisawa Station, he then took the next bus heading to Kamakura. Fujisawa Station might ring a bell for some, since the station was very prominently featured in the fantastic Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.
Mafuyu gets off at Enoden Bus’ Kaigan-Dori stop in Kamakura, which is quite an important bus stop for him personally, one he promised himself to always remember.
From there he retraces all the steps from that one fateful day he spent here with Yuki.
The goal of that little stroll through the neighborhood was, of course, Kamakura’s Yuigahama Beach, which is a popular date spot. It was here, together with Yuki, that Mafuyu saw the ocean for the first time in his life, one of the many firsts Yuki gave to him. And it was also at this very beach where both of them finally confirmed their relationship.
Things are more complicated back at Machida Station, where Mafuyu has several run-ins with Hiiragi. Machida, which is located in the south-western part of the Tokyo Metropolis, is the show’s main setting after all.
The Katase River runs south of Machida.
Just moments before the band’s big concert, Mafuyu’s guitar strings snapped, but Haruki kept his cool and sent out Ritsuka to get new ones at the shop in front of the station. The shop he meant was the Kurosewa Instruments shop inside the Modi department store vis-à-vis from Machida Station, which was renamed Shirosawa Instruments in the anime.
The short dash from the venue to the instruments shop should’ve only taken him about 5 minutes.
The Machida Play House is where the magic happens. After a long build-up, Mafuyu was finally able to break free of his past and perform his highly emotional song here, "A Winter Story." I’m sure the live house can count on several new attendees for their next event after that episode.
And as a neat little tidbit, the Twitter fanpage, which the band created in the last episode, actually also exists in real life.
This specific Odakyu Odawara Line railway bridge, which is crossing the Tama River, must be some kind of anime inside joke this season, as it also got shown in this season’s Fruits Basket and O Maidens in Your Savage Season.
WD
At the end of the last episode, Mafuyu spontaneously decides to take Ritsuka on a trip to the Red Brick Warehouses in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district. The former customs building has been transformed into a modern shopping complex with lots of fashion boutiques and restaurants. But Mafuyu didn’t come here to shop, as the place is known as one of Japan’s most popular date spots by the sea after all, and the ocean undoubtedly played a very important role in his relationship with Yuki. But that’s in the past now, and as he later reveals to Ritsuka, he’s never actually been here, making it another first for him.
WD
Be sure to tune in to given’s grand finale this thursday!

More WD lore for my fantasy AU :D
Take note: this kinda a rough draft?? I'll clear things up eventually, but I had to get it out there before I forgot.
Let it be known that there is no real good or bad kingdom. Just three kingdoms that are civil with one another.
The three kingdoms? The Hanasato Kingdom, the Aoyagi Kingdom, and the Yoisaki Kingdom.
The Hanasato Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of Luck, is where our White Knights reside.
The Aoyagi Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of Winter, is where the Imperial Soldiers reside.
The Yoisaki Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of Passion, is where the rest remain.*
I did, however, mention in a post from last night that the White Knights and Imperial Soldiers have met on the battle field. And I mentioned in my last WD post that Rui was helping Toya dethrone his father.
And that, my fellow prsk fans, is what leads them to their battles:
A Civil War.
Harumichi isn't about to go down easily. He deems Toya a traitor to the crown, but the Kingdom is split. Those in favor of the King and those in favor of the Prince. The shift leads to Toya declaring war against his own father.
At first, he tries to keep it within their Kingdom. There's no need to involve Princess Minori or Queen Kanade*, especially since the second had just regained her throne after Princess Mafuyu had helped her dethrone Queen Asahina, her own mother, after she stole the throne from the then princess.
But his father spreads the fight to those other kingdoms, bringing them into a fight they had no reason to be a part of.
It's hard to fight in the smaller villages, seeing their growing recent of the Aoyagi Kingdom*. In their eyes, they were bringing destruction to them. Families had to flee, livestock was stolen, the few that remained traveled together, afraid to do so alone.
When Princess Minori's Royal Guard had arrived, it wasn't to aid either Toya or Harumichi. It was in defense of her own people. They were doing their job.
Princess Minori didn't want a war on her land. Her people were afraid and she wouldn't stand for it. Young as she may be, she held a lot of respect from her people and was determined to see to it that they would be protected.
In contrast, Queen Kanade had made sure her own soldiers were ready to fight them off before they could even enter her kingdom.
Harumichi had attacked in the Hanasato Kingdom first because he felt they were the easy target. A peaceful Kingdom where he could show his son what would happen if he didn't cease his declaration of war against him. The unfortunate sacrifice for his rebellion. It wasn't just innocent lives in their kingdom he was sacrificing, but those in another kingdom.*
And he was hoping that by fighting in the Hanasato's smaller villages, the Princess would see and do something about it. He heard she was naive. Thought the best in everyone. That he could fool her into helping him when she learned his son's declaration for civil war was spreading to her kingdom.
He wasn't expecting her knights to attack his men as well.
And when he tried to attack a small village in the Yoisaki Kingdom? He and his men had to fall back when they were ambushed by Queen Kanade's soldiers.
* I wasn't going to call them White Knights or Imperial Soldiers since they would be their own group. I just have no idea what their group would be called.
* Like I said, there is no real good or bad side in this. Just a lot of misfortune and the cruelty one man decides to spread to others.
* Originally, she was going to be a princess, like Minori. But I liked the idea of her being crowned Queen more.
* The idea here is that Toya and Harumichi are currently both fighting for the crown of the Aoyagi Kingdom. Toya declares war and a civil war begins.
The war is originally only fought in the Aoyagi Kingdom, but is then spread to the other kingdoms through smaller villages. These villages are taken over by one side and turned into a new battle ground. They're being involved in something they shouldn't be.
Minori's kingdom is affected the most, thus leading to the White Knights to be more active. She won't pick a side since both are at fault for bringing fear and war to her people. She can hope for Toya's victory, but she cannot stand by him while he and his father's war against each other is hurting her people.
Kanade being ready for them comes from a combination of past trauma and some of Minori's people seeking refuge in her kingdom. They talked about the war between father and son. The way soldiers fighting for either of them would invade their homes, forcing them to leave. How it felt unsafe. How they weren't sure if the Yoisaki Kingdom would even be any safer.
So, she made sure her soldiers were ready. They attacked smaller villages because they had less defense? Fine. Let them try.
She wasn't about to put her people through that again. Never again.
