#manectric#i woke up at like noon today y'all i'm queuing this after work. i forgot about it all day and i was about to hop on totk#but i got the reminder to do it. so here i am. with manectric#el woowoo‚ if you will#a lot happened. yesterday. it was not a very good day. which is why i woke up so late. it was a little bit rough. but i guess it's a new day#so. it'll get better. planning on Not Doing Shit today or tomorrow to compensate for all the Bullshit that happened yesterday#hoping you all are doing well. one week from today (friday june sixteenth) i'll be hopping on a flight for the first time in 10 years#looks like according to the queue this will actually go up the day before we leave. so‚ to you guys‚ i'll be heading out tomorrow#which is scary a little bit. last time i flew i had no idea i was autistic‚ but now that i've come up with a lot of better accommodations#for myself and i understand myself a lot better and my needs‚ i'm realizing a lot of my accommodations just aren't gonna make it through TSA#plus it's a lot of unfamilarity with unfamiliar people and an unfamiliar environment which i feel like is gonna lend itself to sensory#overload like Immediately and i'm probably gonna get a headache bc that's how it manifests for me#so when we get there i'm probably gonna have to run to the nearest pharmacy. and grab some shit. which is annoying! so. i'm a little#worried. about the trip. Love posting my Spotify receipts for the month bc you can always tell when I’ve had smth big to write for one of my classes bc the one Jash song (Dream (Outro from Calamity)) will make the receipt. I did not end up a Jashinator but I do like having a song I can rely on to make me write things.

bruh apparently my roommate fell down the terf pipeline this summer and proudly told me she is a terf tonight. uh. babe what the fuck do you want me to do with that.

#my partner and i have been looking for a place together since JUNE#we're both govt union jobs technically#and cant find a 2 bdrm in the city we work in that allows pets for our budget#thats it thats literally the big complications is we need 2bdrm bc nonmonog#i have a cat#and we need to stay in our city bc of our jobs#its makin me wanna die something fierce#im not doing super well like im ok im making a lotta art and stuffs#and im good at my job and im paying rent on time and shit#but like fuck im almost 30 and we had to have a talk#about whether or not having an OVEN in the suite we want to rent is a deal breaker#for 2200 a month would we accept NO OVEN#it feels horrific i wanna cry N E WAY#2 new chapbooks and 5 new songs#so we;re winning actually#life and times

hey there, friends !
so. it’s may. there have been Many rumors about s5 production start dates. i think both david and joe have mentioned june as a set time, and apparently there’s a recent rumor about preliminary filming this month with certain cast members while others may be busy. idk. i Do know that there’s a potential for s5 to be affected if the writer’s strike happens -- which we should be hearing more about soon.
as far as we know, they haven’t finished writing s5 yet. earlier seasons were still being written as the show was in production, and even just last season, the duffers made changes and added scenes late into filming -- like the jonathan and will scene from the finale. if the strike happens, the way things are done behind the scenes could change, or production could be pushed back further.
things seem to be moving as normal for now. and we’ll know more as more news (about the strike + production) becomes available.
#i said i wouldn't post updates like this anymore#but i don't have anyone to talk to about this show and i love to keep updated on my own#and i think we need to be prepared for the potential of production being pushed further back in the event of a strike#i know there are like... casting rumors being thrown around and i'm not sure how legit those are#and with those rumors it seems the plan is for production to run from june 2023 to june 2024#which... we just can't know anything until it's actually happening#anyway. i'm doing a rewatch now and making more gifset plans and stuff#and i think i'll be back on here more after may 15th when this season of 911 ends lol#soooo many posts saved to the drafts to fill up the queue and i'm excited about that#also. can we talk about a wrinkle in time#like... it's literally all about love and hope and i don't know how they could be clearer about that#i hope they start posting books every friday tbh#not like i have time to read all of them but. research is fun#lex talks

never done one of these so i thought i'd try it.
my 2nd full year as an Artist.... developed a lot. looking back at stuff from a year ago is painful as usual. first half of this year was mostly takarazuka. in march i started "painting", in the summer i started doing "lineless", then i realised that's basically painting but now i understood it and was having fun.
in september i started doing tons of black and white stuff to clear my head and because i was so inspired by witch hat atelier.
i want to keep improving
#this isnt so much The Best Thing I Drew That Month as what represents the month artistically/emotionally to me.#like november was simply the persona 5 month. and december has to be lucifer.#(also i made a LOOT of comic-type stuff that isn't really represented in this image but was lots of fun.)#it's not like before 2020 i had never picked up a pen. i just Didn't Know Anything. i just doodled on paper and showed no-one#i feel like i both drew a lot in 2022 (which i DID) and still didn't draw or learn enough or at least not efficiently enough. =_=#i also finished two fics and worked on two zines. next year i want to print my own things and do more stuff. and make artist friends.#i barely socialised or did anything other than drawing. i'm glad i had so much free time but uhh i also want to Live More.#sometimes i feel like Getting Serious now and drawing Properly and sometimes i feel like stopping drawing altogether. idek.#i just dk.......#hope there were some people that enjoyed my stuff. it seems like there was. i feel like i'm at least at the beginning of the next stage#2020...we don't talk about that. 2021 ok starting to be able to draw. 2022 finally able to draw closer to what i want. i love a lot of it.#i guess that's something.#especially in sept/oct i was really inspired. i barely used the internet except to post art it was so good. my own world#i didn't use the internet basically at all in june either - but it was the total opposite. i barely drew at all. *examines myself*#onwards i guess................. *picks up my bindle*

apparently a bunch of us feel weird about something today but I don't think we all feel weird about the same thing which is making it harder to figure out what's actually wrong.
I can kind of think of a few things off the top of my head but none of it is stuff we can actually do anything about, and distractions aren't really helping because half the stuff we try to do makes us feel worse for some reason.

#personal#thoughts#🍬 post#vent post#I always feel bad about venting so much on here#but then last night Lucy pointed out that I usually vent on here when I've exhausted our other coping mechanisms#and usually it's when there's something big bothering me that I can't talk about or haven't picked up on yet#so I end up venting about smaller things because nothing's getting rid of the big stress so it's easier to focus on something smaller#they phrased it a lot better but yeah I do tend to vent on here once other stuff hasn't worked#and it's almost always either very vague or about some small problem that's overwhelmed me while I'm dealing with a bigger thing#we got really badly traumatised back in June and just kept venting about smaller stuff instead#I think the most we said at the time was ''some stuff happened earlier'' and then occasionally mentioned being really stressed
