warping on a new project! making two big napkins to test out the following:
- treating this yarn as if it was 15 epi and not 12 (last time was too weft-faced unless I beat pretty loose)
- using a floating selvedge
- embroidering on the finished product!
after that I want to fuck around with the 8/4 warp and see what that’s like...I also want to see what it feels like with cotton warp and wool weft! though I don’t understand how to make sure they match in weight as all my yarn is called things like ‘fingering weight’ and ‘sport weight’ while the warp is measured like 8/4 and 8/2
