Atsumu comes running up to you with his phone in his hand. It’s an old video of you with your choir at a competition, and sure enough, you’re right in the middle of the screen.

“Where did you find this?”

“I didn’t! Fans tagged me in this, and I wasn’t sure why but then I saw you, and I was like, “no way they didn’t tell me,” but I get it, puberty was hard for all of us.”

“First of all, I know you weren’t making fun of my little tween self when you were the jerk that had no friends. Secondly, I didn’t tell you cause I don’t really like the sound of my voice.”

He drops his phone and jumps onto the couch next to you before grabbing your face. “You” *kiss* “sound” *kiss* “beautiful” *kiss* “and if you don’t wanna sing in front of me, that’s okay. But don’t let yourself feel like you aren’t super good at singing cause yer more than good”

He tackles you down, so he’s now lying on top of you, and the room is filled with giggles.

You’re over at his house, and you’re both studying for a test coming up later this week. You’ve been working for the last two hours, and you physically can’t look at another lecture slide.

“Baby, we’re taking a break. Let’s go.”

You’re in his dorm, so realistically you move three steps over from his desk onto his bed, but the plush mattress is more than enough to help you relax. He reaches into his bin of snacks and throws your favourite candies your way. Osamu pulls you into his chest, and you’re both snacking on gummies while scrolling on TikTok. Is it surprising to him you’re on weebtok? No. Is he surprised when he hears you softly singing along to the sound? Absolutely.

“I didn’t know you could sing?”

“Oh, haha, not really, I used to be in a choir, but I think I sound kinda funny when I sing.”

“Yer school had an award-winning choir, stupid. If ya sounded weird, ya wouldn’t be award-winning.”

He puts your phone down and gives you a soft kiss, “you have the prettiest voice I’ve ever heard. Historia would ask ya to sing at her coronation.”

The two of you just stare at each other before cracking up, “thank you, Samu.”

Iwaizumi

You’re in the kitchen cooking dinner, singing along with the radio playing in the background. Iwaizumi should be home soon, and you wanted to surprise him with his favourite since he’s been a little stressed. You’re so focused on stirring the pot you don’t hear him come home, but he doesn’t make a noise until the song’s over.

“You sound amazing, sweetheart.”

You whip your head around, clutching your chest. “Hajime! When did you come home?”

“Why didn’t you tell me you could sing? Can you sing something else?”

“I think I sound kinda weird, I guess.”

“What? Babe, you’re good enough to be on stage.”

He walks up to you and turns the stove off. The two of you sway to the music still playing in the background before telling him you’ve been on stage, but it isn’t really something you want to do anymore.

“So you can sing like an angel, and you used to be part of an award-winning school choir, and you didn’t feel the need to tell me....that's okay! We have the rest of our lives to make up for that. I will make you feel like the most talented person in the world so you can sing me to sleep.”

You just giggle and give him a soft kiss. “Mister arm wrestling champion wants to hear a lullaby every night, huh.”

“.......what about it? Champions can like lullabies.”

Sakusa

The One - Kodaline 

It’s eight in the morning, and you can’t fall back asleep; you turn over to see Sakusa snoring softly. He finally has a day off from training, and two of you are planning to have a lazy day filled with lots of cuddles and Marvel movies. You scootch closer and rest your hand on his head, lightly running your fingers through his messy hair.

He moves closer to you in his sleep, and you can feel your heart bursting from how cute he looks sleeping with a faint smile on his face. You’ve been staring at him for a few minutes, and at some point, you started to hum a melody without you even realizing it.

Without opening his eyes, he whispers to you, “can you sing that song again? You sound so pretty.”

He can’t see you, but that defiantly got you flushed. Seeing how content he looks, you have no other choice but to hum the song again, this time rubbing his cheek with your thumb. When you’re finished, he pulls you into him, so your face is pressed against his chest.

“Your mom told me about choir as a kid, but she said you don’t sing a lot cause you don’t like your voice. Thank you for sharing it with me; you sound just as pretty as you look.”

A Letter to You

Yes, you read that right.  This is a letter to you.  I want to thank you for being here, for sticking with me, for believing in me, and supporting me.  You are a big reason why I keep doing this, because if it wasn’t for you and your kindness, I would’ve gotten discouraged a long time ago.  I love every reblog, every comment, and every like that pops up in my notification.  I love seeing you in my inbox, enjoying my content and asking for more.  Darling, you’ve made this experience so much more enjoyable than I could ever imagine.

It seems silly to be celebrating something like this.  This is just a random blog on Tumblr that most of us will likely forget about in a matter of years, but it’s important to take joy in the small things in life.  Whether that be “I got out of bed today” or “I remembered to drink water,” there is something every day that is worth being proud of.  Reaching 600 followers just happens to be the thing that I’m proud of today.
