Acceptable-Ratio-219: I saw Alex on the subway the other week ! He got on at the Bedord L stop. I was wondering why he was in the area.

I'm really pissed that I didn't chat him up! The train was basically empty and Alex was directly across from the me the entire time, avoiding eye contacting like every New Yorker of course, but he did stare at me for a bit. I was in disbelief, cause it didnt make sense why he would so casually stroll onto the train in the middle of the afternoon by himself, but then I figured he must of moved to Williamsburg recently or something.

I did manage to eventually sit down so I could sneak a photo. It's not the best since Alex just then began to stare at the floor, but here it is anyway. (Posted on 13/06/2024)

It’s something he looks forward to every week now: stopping by Draco's potions lab to deliver ingredients cultivated in the greenhouse. He loves watching the colours swirl in their cauldrons, fluorescent and sparkling. He loves the sounds of Draco’s magic moving through them: sometimes rough and scraping like crunchy gravel, sometimes joyfully splashing like water in a rushing stream.  Today, Draco’s creation is a vibrant aquamarine. Some of it has gotten on his robes. It’s probably the most beautiful colour yet, but Harry’s not looking at the potion. He’s having trouble looking away from Draco’s hands.  “What's this one for?” he asks, after it finally occurs to him he’s been staring. Draco starts, like he forgot Harry was there. When he meets Harry’s eyes, his cheeks have gone pink with a blush.  “This one is … it’s for you, actually.”  “For me?” Harry repeats, shocked.  “To help you sleep.” Draco's eyes drop back down to the cauldron. “You mentioned the Dreamless wasn’t working anymore.”  That had been almost two months ago.   “Oh,” Harry says, and a dam breaks in his chest.  “It’s not ready yet,” Draco adds quickly.  “That’s fine.” Harry stares at the line of Draco’s neck, pale skin turned blue by the reflected light, and imagines how soft it would feel under his lips. “I can wait.”

My Iconic Moment for the D.Gray-man 20th Anniversary Zine ch. 219 (but also 220 and 221)

Those chapters are insane, and honestly I cannot believe no one else wanted them before I snatched it up! (Maybe because they are... a lot)

From the beginning of the zine, I really wanted to draw the Earl. His design is just the coolest ♡ But then I was so excited to draw the Earl on a rampage that I completely forgot that this IM included the chapter long hug that is 219 AND Mana's existential crisis in 220 AND that stellar quote by mysterious glasses man in 221. I was having a field day playing with the themes and motifs, basically. I still want to play more with this "heart" of D. Gray-man ♡

GUYS HELP I was at work, and I had this scenario pop in my head that made me look like this all day.

I'm not a good writer, so the talented fallout Fandom has my blessing to expand on this idea of mine🙏🙏🙏 but here it goes.

Ok, so what if Janey is frozen in cryo (maybe in vault 31?) The whole 219 years so she haven't aged a day at all, and what if Cooper and Lucy go back to her vault to get more supplies and then Norm tells them about vault 31 and they go look at it. (Maybe it won't be easy, maybe there a fight idk) And when they get there, they find the pods, and then Copper finds Janey.....

He was in shock, frozen. Lucy, notice and go over to look and see her name. (Maybe at this point, she knows his full name and put two and two together) Anyway, they all agree to let her out, but Cooper is nervous. I mean, look at him... He is not the same man Janey knew as her father, but he is too the same or so lucy tells him. (having maybe seen a bit more of his old self by then) She convinced him to see her when she's ready, after all being thawed out, takes a lot out of someone. Janey is asleep for a few days, and once she's wakes up, she needs to get her bearings. In the meantime, Cooper is trying his best to clean up taking many showers. (That's his stinky ass needs after 219 years) Washing his clothes the same cowboy outfit he been wearing since the last time he saw her, but even after all that, he's still afraid. He doesn't want to touch her because no matter what he does, he's so irradiated that he'll taint her, but lucy consoles him by saying she's been exposed to it anyway, giving she was there when the bombs fell. It doesn't do much, but it calms him down enough so that he'll be in the same room as her

Anyway, Lucy goes in first. It has been about a week since Janey has been thawed. Lucy, having been a school teacher, knows how to explain stuff to kids. She slowly tells Janey how long she has been asleep for, how she is safe, how her dad is here. And how he been looking for her all the time, about how. "That him not being in a vault did things to him." About how. "Even though he may look scary, it's still her dad." Janey nods and understands she tells Lucy she's ready to see him, and Lucy goes to get Cooper. (Whether Lucy stayed in the room or not, I don't know.) But Cooper walks in the room, in a cleaner but still worn out blue cowboy uniform not having on the duster coat or vest. There she is.... standing in the room a few feet away from him, his mouth to dry to talk. It's not like he could talk anyway. What would he even say to her?

It felt like time froze, but it also felt like an eternity of silence. Janey was the first to do anything. Walking over to him, Cooper stepped back a bit but stopped. She was right in front of him. She looked him up and down, and she finally spoke to him. "Well.... i guess i can't play. i got your nose with you anymore, huh?"

And with that, Cooper, who was holding his breath this whole time, was able to breathe again. Not caring about anything else but her, he fell to his knees and hugged her for the first time in 219 years and cried.

seems like every time izzy and stede have a scene together alone in the captains quarters, i'm going to go completely insane about it

izzy literally fucking choking up and beginning to cry as he lies to stede that he didn't send ed to doggy heaven like "no, no, we dropped him off on a nice island" like the "they went to a nice farm" lie a parent would tell their kid when the dog died. in a way it reads like izzy couldn't fucking bear to break stede's heart? he thought stede couldn't handle ed's passing and meant to soften the blow? but also he said that because he was trying to take the blame off the rest of the crew? gahh

as usual i am unwell about these two. folder of screenshots specifically of when stede is looking at izzy now contains 219 files and will be getting bigger in the coming weeks.
