#peanuts#snoopy#art#90#based on that emoji face meme but i can't find the original ANYWHERE#at least not the entire image unedited. other than on like redbubble listings but i don't want to link those haha#if someone has a link to it please send it to me!! so i can link it in the post. thanks :)#also i have decided to start doing descriptions for each image (which i have been meaning to do for a while)#now that people actually follow this blog and interact with it and stuff#tbh i should've started doing them a long time ago#but the idea of retroactively going back to every post and adding a description kept putting me off... which is silly because it's only#gonna become more work the longer i leave it. so you know. just gotta start doing it#i will endeavour to add a description to all the previous snoopys of the day soon 🤞#anyway i made this because i sent a friend the original emoji image (taken from a redbubble screenshot LOL)#because we have been trying to book a place to stay for a group trip (6 people)#and like i did all the research and made a list to start us off (while letting people know they could add to the list) and sent that around#and made a poll for people to vote for their preferred place#and some people in the group have been taking FOREVER to respond with their opinions about accommodation#like to the point where all the other good places on the list have been booked up now and there is just one left#which luckily is the one with the most votes#and today i was like (about to book that one) ok well before i book i'm just checking that everyone is ok with these dates?#and some of them were like ohhh actually no. we haven't booked our flights yet so we're not sure which days exactly we'll be there#WHAT DO YOU MEAN!#in fairness i should've checked that we were all on the same page about dates beforehand#but like. the trip is literally in like 5 weeks AND during a public holiday like omfggggggg everywhere is gonna be booked out#do you know how hard it is to find accommodation for 6 people#and i don't even know the people who haven't been responding/haven't booked their flights/whatever#they're friends of a friend (who will also be coming on the trip) and i know nothing about them#i think i would be a lot less annoyed if it was just my friends because we would've just hopped on a call and sorted everything out in like#one night. otherwise we know + trust each other enough to make decisions for each other if we can't/don't want to be involved in planning

Ok fuck it you know something I've never really quite understood about part of the Leftist vs Liberals debate on voting.
So so so many people act like its either-or. Like you're either dedicating your entire life to voting and promoting politicians and phone banking or whatever, or you're a True Rebel waiting for The Uprising to Come and Solve Everything.
But like. In my experience. Me voting is just me kinda go 'which person seems kinda good? Which one at least sucks the least? ok lemme go vote.' and then its anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour tops of my life. And I still have plenty of time to do Stuff and participate in Conversations about Other Important Things. And also you can admit and acknowledge and understand that the system As Is kinda sorta really sucks ass, but also still admit and acknowledge and understand that at this current point in time we are still living in the suckass system and do something to alleviate the suckass At Least A Little while also working to bolster/create/advocate for Other Systems.
I guess just like. it's not a black or white thing. Between 'top 500 volunteers for a specific politician/voting office/etc' and 'absolutely positively not voting at all' there is a gray area called 'vote and then just do other stuff'.
#out of queue#ani rambles#ani rant#now hang on its time to acknowledge my Privilege(TM)#the first few times I ever voted for anything I was in college and the student center was a voting center#so asides from waiting in a long (~30 minute tops bc early vote) line to get in I didn't have to do a big drive or anything#and at my house there's a voting center thats a like 5 minute drive from my place or a 10 minute drive depending on what election it is#and im ablebodied and have a open (read: jobless) schedule so I can Just Go for the most part#i live in a City so there's probs lots of voting centers at churches and libraries and all across town too#but like. some people act like people saying Hey Go Vote Plz are screaming like#'if you don't donate 200 dollars and 4+ weeks of your time to canvassing and calling and volunteering you are RUINING AMERICA'#when at least from what I've seen its just like. 'can you maybe go fill in a bubble on a Scantron so people like me don't Die Faster.'#also there's early voting and mail-in voting and all that jazz like yeah the current system makes it harder to vote but theres still W AYS#you don't gotta pull up at 6am on Election Day Tuesday yknow?#if i get blasted for this remember as I was: happy and rambling at 3am about greenhouses and solarpunk stuff#plz be nice i beg k bye

SAG-AFTRA is officially set to join the WGA in going on strike. No filming, premiere attendence or other promotion of any kind allowed.
I hope to see nothing but support for this decision.
#SAG-AFTRA#WGA#a shame the DGA isn't joining as well#not like their directors are gonna have a lot of work set out for them for the time being#this will have an interesting effect on the media landscape i'm sure#no more barbie premiere dresses#SDCC this year is gonna return to its more humble “nerds unite” roots at this point#i hope the wealthier writers and actors will support those that rely on the paychecks during the (continued) strike#actually i want a-list actors to step up in general#like why do like 5 people get paid a billion dollars for a few weeks of work per year#while their fellow working actors barely manage to book enough jobs to make their health insurance#IATSE should vote to strike again as well now that i think of it#they spend more time than anyone on set and get the least pay#doesn't seem fair#anyway#hopefully this will cause some positive changes in the industry#i don't want to see any complaints about the continued strikes affecting psych 4#i'll block your ass if you do

I um. I may have accidentally sped ran creating a crack AU, and then a crackship to match. and now I actually really like the idea of said crackship
(it's Pure Vanilla and Pitaya Dragon, with a side of polyancients so it's not like. super far fetched but what the hell they were supposed to be the driving conflict in this AU why are they now flirting????)
#... the AU was a timeloop based among us AU by the way. specifcially based off alpharad's videos with the modded stuff#some specific AU ideas that inspired this:#1) PV getting imposter and Pitaya getting sheriff. Pitaya holding him at gunpoint; taunting about how he would've ended up here regardless#only for PV to bash their skull in with his staff. Pitaya now both wants to kill him and has a newfound admiration#(this is a couple weeks into the timeloop and they're both pissed about being separating from their friends and have been fighting for days#2)a silly lovers game where PV is altruist and Pitaya is jester; and PV resurrects an imposter willingly to get himself out of this shithol#right when Pitaya was at the perfect point to get voted out#3) talking about the other ancients between games and how much they miss them; only for Pitaya to accidentally compare PV to Hollyberry#which is basically a huge honor because Hollyberry is one of their closed relationships#4) a different lovers game; this time when they're both imposters. it's scary how well they worked together to get the win#5) PV getting sheriff; and for once. for *once*. trusts that Pitaya isn't the imposter this time. despite everything; he can't fully pull#the trigger. so he doesn't and crew wins because of it. because Pitaya was a guardian angel to the imposter#and they tell PV the other after their charge is voted out#crk au#crack au#crackship#crk crackship#cookie run kingdom#crk#pure vanilla crk#pitaya dragon crk#(and on top of that; why can I see them working weirdly well in just a general polyancients situation?#like. PV knowing that Pitaya isn't just a raging monster. Pitaya knowing that Hollyberry likes this strange cookie#they both have been greatly affected by WL and DE combined. they're both possible of more care and distrcution then they realize#PV used to look into dark moon magic. Surely Pitaya would find it interesting that the perfect student; the healer with no flaws; dabbled#in such dangers?#and PV looking at Pitaya; and seeing the kindness that seems inherent in their actions. they're big and they'll fight anything that moves#but they care about their home. about the cookies they choose to associate with. about snapdragon and hollyberry and maybe. *maybe*.#deep down in the farthest depths of their heart; the other dragons)
