Weirdcore is so comforting to me. I’ve always been a fan of internet-born aesthetics. When I was in college, I discovered Vaporwave and since then, ive been following the rise of internet aesthetics/music — things like Weirdcore, dreamcore, hyper pop, vaporwave, frutiger eco, digital horror, liminal space, kidcore… the list goes on. The internet aesthetics wiki is a great resource to understand all the niche ones you might come across.
