i know how many of us have wanted an english studio version of "the way things are" for soooo soooo so long, and we still don't have one (though, from what i understand, a london cast album — which includes the song on the tracklist — will be made at Some point, but the date remains unknown).

but two weeks ago this absolute masterpiece dropped and it's criminal that it isn't even at 1k views. it, genuinely, fits in perfectly with the existing english demo soundtrack. please please please go show this person some love and share this video around, because i'm sure there's so many folks who've been waiting for something like this that have no idea it exists
